Annabelle's POV:

We walked in and saw Danny and Gwen sitting at the tables. I looked at them as they looked at us and honestly I felt happy for both of them. We sat down and me and Gwen exchanged awkward hello's but Daniel and Matt were talking and laughing. "We're still waiting for Elijah and Carter to get here then we'll order", Matt looked at us happily and I couldn't help but feel like part of the reason he was so happy. I smiled and blushed looking downwards. Danny's phone began to ring and as he pulled it out he showed the screen to Matt and walked outside with Gwen following closely. I looked at Gwen as she followed and couldn't help but feel like she looked like an abandoned puppy. Matt and I were left alone and he was just silently smiling at me. "Don't do that" I said laughing, "you look creepy".

Matt stood up and came and sat next to me. "I bet you find it cute" he said confidently, I did find it a little but I couldn't tell him that, "yeah sure Casanova". I rolled my eyes and looked at him, I was blushing slightly but it was only slight so I'd hoped he couldn't tell. He brought his hand up to my face and brushed my cheek slightly, "I make you blush?" he asked jokingly. I looked away and shook my head quickly repeatedly. As I turned he was very close to my face that I could feel him breath on my cheeks. "Matt?" I asked just as he brought him lips down on mine. At first I didn't react but as I began to enjoy it and we synchronised our lips. His tongue brushed my bottom lip looking to enter and I allowed it. The kiss only increased in passion and I was really enjoying it. "OI!" I hear shouted from next to us, we break from each other breathing heavily and turn to see four people standing before us. Danny had a look of horror written all over his face, Gwen's face had screwed up as she stood behind Danny, Elizabeth's mouth was wide open and Carter's eyes had turned black with an emotion I didn't recognise in him.

I couldn't make eye contact with a single one of them as I felt my whole face flush red. I stood up quickly and left them all without another word, I got outside and took a deep breath in. What had I done? I leant against the building taking everything in that had happened as Matt came outside. I looked at him and then to the ground as I felt my face begin to blush no matter how hard I fought it off. "I'm sorry" he spoke up staring deeply at me, searching my eyes for an answer. I shook my head, "you don't have anything to be sorry for". He smiled and ran his fingers through his blonde hair and walked closer to me. I looked up at him as he looked down at me and for a moment I thought we were going to kiss again and then I heard a squeal come from behind me, "BELLA!" and I was embraced from behind. I turned to see Tara and I felt a smile explode on my face. Matt had begun greeting Elijah, "we'll go in and order yeah" spoke Matt. We both looked over and nodded as they began to walk off.

"Elijah?" I began and then wiggled my eyebrows cheekily. She laughed and punched my arm, her face blushed a little. We stood there as she then looked at me seriously and spoke, "look's like I saved you". I looked at her a little confused and then she motioned her head inside the building and only assumed she was talking about Matt. "You guys were a little close for comfort" she raised and eyebrow at me, I was nervous about telling her but I had to. I looked at the floor, "Bella?" she asked me with her eyebrow still raised. "Ikissedhim" I blurted out quickly that it sounded like one complete word. For a while she looked like she was registering what I had said and then her eyes widened along with her mouth, "you kissed him!". I placed my head in my hands and groaned, everything had been so confusing lately. "Bella, what happened that was so great enough for you to kiss him?", she looked at me still in shock as I said to myself 'if only you knew'. "Girls we're ordering", Elijah had popped his head out to call us in and I had to drag Tara into the restaurant with the look of shock still embedded in her face.

Sitting at the table was quite awkward and I felt bad for Elijah. He looked confusingly at everyone, unaware that everyone else was aware of the kiss that Matt and I had shared. "What can I get you" the waitress asked who I hadn't even noticed had come over, everyone began ordering and I decided I'd go with a milkshake and chips because I didn't feel all too hungry now. Matt leant over even though he was next to me anyway and whispered, "are you ok? You're not really eating" his breath tickled my ear and he had only said it loud enough for me to hear. I looked up to see everyone staring up at us and I quickly nodded at him and began studying the menu word for word. "I need to know" spoke Danny as all the attention was drawn to him, "what's going on between you two?". Everyone had now turned their head towards us and I swallowed hard again and fell silent. "Nothing" Matt spoke up trying to down play it. I looked at him as he smiled at me and then I felt his hand creep across my leg and took hold of my hand. In that moment I wanted him to hold my hand, he was the only thing stopping me from running away.
