"Dude I am wigging the fuck out." I took a deep breath.

"You have no reason to wig the fuck out." Mason shook his head.

No no. I am wigging the fuck out.

The girls just got back from shopping, and the guys have done literally the most to help me get everything ready for tonight.

I am in the kitchen cooking my ass off, the rest of the guys are getting ready for the party, and Mason's low maintenance ass is standing in the kitchen watching me in his fucking sweater and torn up jeans all cool and collected as if I'm not about to shit my pants.

"Mason I am wigging the fuck out." I whined.

"Again, you have no reason to wig the fuck out Ben." He shook his head. "You have had all week to plan this."

"I've never done this before Mason. I've never asked a girl to be my girlfriend, let alone had one." I sighed. "How did you do it?"

He pursed his lips. "I asked her in a bubble bath." He nodded.

I scrunched my face and looked at him. "You took a bubble bath?"

"I have taken many bubble baths with her."

"Something tells me I'm not getting Tory in a fucking bubble bath." I shook my head.

"No, you're making her dinner. Ben, stop freaking. Just, tell her how you feel about her. The honest to god truth. Tell her what you told Olivia. And what you told us when you told us you wanted to take her to home coming. That she's wonderful, in every way. And that she's nice, and doesn't make you feel stupid, and that she makes you laugh more than Con, Ry and I, strangely." He scrunched his face. "And tell her everything you think about her."

"Is that what you did with Ol?" I pursed my lips.

He sighed and let out a small smile. "Yeah. I told her everything I love about her. From her jacked up feet, to her tiny little fingers, all her curls, and her eyes. Everything. Ben this isn't something you can practice. Just, listen to your heart. OK?"

I let out a small smile and shook my head. "Jesus Christ you've changed."

He nodded. "I found someone worth changing for. And, clearly so did you. So, stop wigging."

"This isn't how I pictured senior year."

"Yeah." He let out a small laugh. "Me either and it's only December. Christmas is literally in 2 weeks."

"And then we go to NYC 2 weeks later." I nodded. "You and Con call realtors yet?"

"A few. Ol and Sie are gonna take a day to come look with us. Just, gotta find one Ol likes."

"Why?" I gave him a look.

"Because after she graduates, she's gonna be living there too." He nodded.

"Pending how your talk goes?"

He sighed. "Yeah."

"Seriously Mase, why didn't you tell me." I shook my head.

He sat down at the counter and leaned on his elbows. "Because it hurts to talk about. Hurts to think about. Hurts to know. Part of me kind of wishes Jake would've never told me."

"But if he didn't she would've gone through it alone." I came and sat next to him. "And, no one should go through something like this alone. Including you." I nodded.

"I know."

"I know Con probably isn't ready to hear about, but, if you ever want to talk about it, or need to, you know I'm here, right?" I looked over at him.

He gave me a small smile. "Thanks B."

"Always." I rubbed his back.

I went back to cooking, and he sat there silently until everyone but Olivia and Tory came out.

"Everything OK?" Connor gave us both a look.

Mason nodded.

"Yeah, just, figuring some things out." I nodded.

"Nothing to figure out Benny." Abby came and kissed my cheek. "You got this. Get yourself a boo."

"Yeah B. She's gonna be so shocked." Havannah smiled.

"Our little Benjamin, all grown up." Sienna pouted.

"Shut up and get out." I pointed out the door.

"Mase you guys still meeting us?" Carter pursed his lips.

"To be determined." He nodded.

Ryan patted his back. "You got this too."

"They'll be out in a bit. Olivia's hair isn't cooperating and Tory is trying to figure out what the hell is going on." Kallie nodded.

"Will you save me some of that." Sienna pointed at one of my pans.

"Yes, if you get out." I laughed.

"Lets go bitches!" She screamed and basically ran out of the cabin.

"Girls." Will shook his head.

"Hey!" Havannah, Kallie and Abby yelled as they followed them out.

Mason groaned. "This wasn't how this weekend was supposed to go." He shook his head. "I'm sorry if it's putting a damper on everything with Tory."

"It's not." I shook my head. "Tory is important to me, but my best friend, coping with losing a baby, more important."

"Hello." I heard Tory yell as she walked down the hall.

"Hi." I smiled.

"What're you doing?" She shook her head.

"Well, first of all." I waved her over.

She walked over and I wrapped an arm around her waist. "You look gorgeous." I kissed her cheek. "And two, I am making you dinner."

"You can cook?" She looked up at me.

"Certain things." I let out a small laugh.

"Kid cooks a mean steak." Mason nodded.

"He actually does." Olivia came walking out.

"You look cute." Mason smiled. "You ready?"

"You know, I was thinking we could just go get dinner with everyone else and go to the party." She pursed her lips.

He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Sure babe." He shook his head.

"No." I shook my head. "No you can not Ol. Go get dinner with your boyfriend." I crossed my arms and nodded.

"Ben." She shook her head.

"No. You know what." I clapped my hands together. "You already know what he wants to talk about. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know the girls told you what happened last night. It's been 3 months, he needs to talk about it. So go to dinner, shut up, and let him talk."

She just stared at me wide eyed. "OK."

"Go wait in the car babe, I'll be right out." Mason nodded.

"Mhm." She sighed and walked out of the house.

Mason held his hand out. "Love you."

"Like I said, I'm here." We did our hand shake. "Go, talk to ya girl."

"Seriously, thanks." He nodded.

"Always." I smiled. "Get going. Talk it out."

"And you." He stood up and kissed Tory's cheek. "Have a good dinner." He smiled.

"You too bubs." She hugged him. "Just be honest, OK?"

HE nodded and left.

She walked around the counter and sat in front of me just smiling.

"What?" I shook my head.

"You're just a really good friend." She nodded.

I smiled and took a deep breath. "You hungry?"

"Starving."

"Good, because dinner, is done."

"And, what is on the menu?"

"Well, obviously steak. Your medium well because you like a tiny bit of pink, you don't like mashed potatoes so I did baked, broccoli smothered in cheese, and for desert, Olivia made the eclair ice box cake that you like." I nodded and put both steaks on our plates.

"Oh Ben Brooks, a boy after my heart." She shook her head.

"Yes, yes I am." I smiled. "And now, you may pull those curtains down and see what a good boy I am."

She gave me a look and walked over to the dining room area.

Now thank god for the guys, seriously, because she ripped that curtain down and there were flower petals circled around the table on the floor, candles were lit, thanking the stars for Holden and the bottle of wine.

"Oh my god." She shook her head.

"DO you like it?" I pursed my lips and set the plates down.

"Ben, this is amazing." She nodded. "What the hell."

"I wanted to do something nice for you." I pulled her chair out. She sat down, I leaned down and kissed her cheek. "We have been seeing each other for 2 months now." I smiled.

"We have, haven't we." She smiled as I sat.

"We have." I nodded.

"Then." She picked up her wine glass. "To 2 months?"

I smiled. "To 2 months." I clanked mine against hers.

My heart is beating a million miles per minute. My hands are sweating. I still feel like I am going to shit my pants.

But what Mason said came creeping in to my head. 'The honest to god truth.'

"I'm really nervous." I nodded.

"Why?" She gave me a look.

"You're the first girl, who have ever made me heart beating fast, sweaty palm, nervous."

"Ben I don't want to make you uncomfortable." She shook her head.

"You don't." I sighed. "You make me more comfortable than any girl I've ever met aside from Ol, Sie and Abby." I nodded. "The first time you tutored me, it took me 20 minutes to get one question right. And, I was expecting yelling, or agitation, because that's what I'm used to. But you, you didn't do that." I shook my head. "Every time I made a different mistake, you took the time, explained what I was doing wrong, you helped me correct it without doing it for me. Ever since that day, you've changed me."

"How." She tilted her head.

"You've made me look at things past high school. You've made me happy, and confident in school. You keep me calm when I get stressed over grades, and tests. And you've turned the heart beating fast, sweaty palm nervous in to a good thing. Because it made me realize how much I really care about you. I've never done anything like this before." I shook my head. "The getting to know someone, taking my time, and, only having eyes for one person. It's new to me, and it makes me nervous because I've never felt like this before." I took a deep breath. "I like you." I reached over the table and grabbed her hand. "A lot Tory." I nodded. "I like the glasses, and the braces." I let out a small laugh. "I even like the track suits. But, I like more that you're coming out of your shell, and showing me the person you really are while, still being yourself. I like that you're so shy, but, confident around me. I like you're willing to step out of comfort zone sometimes for me, especially when it comes to being around my friends. I love that you'd do anything for my girls. Like when everything was happening with Ol and Mason. Like snapping on him for freaking out over talking to Jackson. And, how through the Ian stuff, even though you barely knew her, that you were beside Sienna the entire time. And how you came out of your shell to help Havannah with her photography portfolio, which, I still love those pictures." I nodded. "And that, even though they scare the shit out of you, you make it know to all of my guys that if they ever need to talk, they have you. They're my family, and yeah, they've made you feel comfortable, but you've made them feel comfortable too. And I love that. I love everything about you Tory." I shook my head.

"Ben." She pouted.

"I love your patience, and your heart. Your sense of humor that only I see the full extent of. And god, that brain of yours, it makes you so much sexier to me." I smiled. "But god Tory, everything about you makes my heart race. And I'm nervous, because I've never done this before." I cleared my throat. "But Tory, I wanna keep feeling this feeling, even through it scares the shit out of me. Because it scaring the shit out of me, means that I finally have something to lose. And I don't want to lose you."

"You're not Ben." She shook her head.

"Good. Because I was hoping, that, since it's been 2 months, if you'd like to, finally, make things an official thing." I nodded. "By, being my girlfriend?" I scrunched my face.

Her face softened and she raised her eyebrows. "What?"

I cleared my throat and swallowed the lump that had formed. "Will you, be my girlfriend."

She pursed her lips and shook her head. "Are you screwing with me?" Her voice cracked.

I sighed. "No." I shook my head. "Tory, I wanna be with you. Officially, all the strings attached, 100% committed, I'm yours you're mine, boyfriend and girlfriend, hold hands in the hall, be with you. Because the way I see it, I'm already yours. I want you to be mine too."

She sighed. "You're mine?"

I nodded.

She let out a small smile. "Then, I'm yours."

My smile grew. "Really?"

She nodded.

I let out a sigh of relief. "Oh thank god." I shook my head. "Now I can tell them that the trip up here was not for nothing."

"What?" She let out a small laugh.

"Tory whole trip up here was so I could do this." I nodded. "You wanted a weekend with everyone, and I wanted to make this special because I'm your first boyfriend. This whole weekend was about you."

"Everyone knew about this?" She shook her head.

"Yeah. The guys helped me plan this, and the girls distracted you so I could do it, and I wanted it to be big."

"They all helped?"

I nodded. "Tory, they love you. They think you deserve the best, and you do. I'm just sorry this is all I could do for you."

"Ben, I love this." She nodded. "No one has ever done this for me before. No ones ever asked me out. But if I had to re-do this. I wouldn't change a thing." She smiled.

"Good." I smiled.

Well, finally!

This happened perfectly.

I did it.

With out shitting my pants.

Her and I ate, we ate desert on the couch cuddled up and watching Riverdale, and I can finally say I have a girlfriend.

Good night.

Until the door flew opened and Mason came storming through the house.

"Mason!" Olivia yelled as she walked in and slammed the door, making both Tory and I jump.

"Mason Dean!" She yelled as she walked down the hall.

And then another slam that was louder, making us both shoot up.

She walked in to the living room and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry." She shook her head.

"Ol." I shook my head.

She wiped her face and started walking toward the deck doors.

"Ol." I yelled as she closed the door behind her.

I sighed. "Shit."

Tory pursed her lips. "Would it be OK if I went and talked to him?"

"Yeah." I nodded. "It'd probably be better to talk to a girl." I kissed her cheek. "Uh, I'm gonna go talk to Ol."

"Go, be a good friend." She kissed me and got off the couch.

She made her way down the hall, and I made my way outside.

Shit.
