I can not, can not tell you how good it feels to be heading to school this bright sun-shiney Monday morning. Granted, I am in my passenger seat and Connor is driving my car because I'm still on medication and not allowed to drive. But after getting my staples taken out last night, seeing the boys trying to be friends with Carter, and Mason asking me to be his girlfriend, I am not complaining about not being able to drive. However, I will probably be complaining later that I have to wait for the boys to get done with basketball and Oaken's first night of hockey try-outs, instead of being at dance tonight.
Connor and Mason helped me out of my car, especially since I'm done trying to deny the fact that I am still sore as hell, and they walked me to my locker before heading to theirs.
I was waiting for Josh, Abby and Sienna, when someone who should not be walking up to me, came walking up to me.
"Hey Olivia." Cameron gave me a small smile as he leaned against the locker next to mine.
"Hi Cam." I nodded.
"Uhm. How're you feeling?" He looked down at me.
I sighed. "I'm OK. Still really sore. But, the staples came out last night."
"Good." He nodded. "That's good. Uhm, do you need, anything?" He shook his head. "Like, is there anything I can do?"
"Cameron, not your job." I shook my head.
"I know you said." He looked around. "You said it wasn't mine." He whispered. "But, are you 100% sure? I don't picture you sleeping with anyone that soon after we broke up." He shook his head.
"I'm sure." I nodded. "Cameron I am sorry. But, I don't need anything. It wasn't yours."
He sighed. "Well, are you sure there's nothing I can do for you? Carry your books? Buy you lunch?"
"I really appreciate you checking on me Cam, I do." I nodded. "But, I really need you to stop trying. I don't want to get back together. Not after everything that happened. You didn't trust me to deal with my brother, and you talked about me like I'm a prize. And, I know I over-reacted a bit, but, it doesn't sit right with me."
He looked down and nodded. "OK. I guess." He reached in his pocket and pulled something out. "You probably want this back then?"
I sighed. "My watch my gran got me for my 12th birthday." I nodded.
"Yeah." He held his hand out. "I found it in my car over the weekend. Along with a few of your shakers and a few booty bands. I can bring those tomorrow."
"Thank you." I gave him a small smile.
"Yeah, I-" And then he looked behind me, rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Here we go."
"What?" I turned around and Mason was walking directly up to us. He raised his eyebrows when he looked down at me. Then looked at Cameron. "Can I help you Saunders?" He crossed his arms.
"You, can mind your own business Hollow." He nodded.
"Nah." Mason shook his head. "You however, can go." He pointed down the hall.
"What ever." He rolled his eyes. "I'll see you in second period Liv." He shook his head and walked away.
"Really?" Mason nodded.
"What?" I whined.
"What the hell was that?" He motioned toward Cameron.

"A conversation." I nodded.
"Yeah, with your ex-boyfriend who is still in love with you." He shook his head.
"Jesus Christ." I rolled my eyes. "He was just asking how I was doing, or if I needed anything because he still thinks, why he came to my house, and I told him it wasn't. And that I needed him to stop trying. He found my watch in his car, and figured I'd want it back because it was from gran, and then he told he'd bring my shakers and booty bands that I forgot at his house or in his car. That's it."
I sighed. "Another excuse to talk to you I see."
"You have no reason to worry about him. You're my boyfriend." I whispered.
He nodded. "You're right. I am, and your boyfriend, is going to gut him like a fish if he doesn't give up."
"Hey boo!" Abby yelled as her, Josh, and Sienna walked over to us. "Ugh I'm happy you're back."
"Me too." I nodded and hugged all of them.
"Jesus cranky pants, what's your problem?" Sienna crossed her arms and looked at Mason.
Mason looked at me. "A girl." He nodded and walked away.
"What girl?" Josh gave me a look.
"No clue." I shook my head.
They walked me to class, and Sienna met me outside of trig to walk me to English.
"Does it feel better that you're not itchy anymore?" Sienna helped me sit down.
"Yes." I nodded. "I don't think I'm ever gonna get used to the scar though."
"Scars build character boo. God knows I'm gonna have one on my nose." She sighed.
Carter turned around. "He's lucky I cant fight outside of a cage." He nodded.
"Yes Carter, you're very scary." Sienna nodded.
"I see the confidence hasn't worn down from yesterday." I let out a small laugh.
"Nope, takes a few days."
"What takes a few days?" Mason sat down next to me.
"The thrill of the fight." Carter nodded.
"Huh, today keeps it up, I'll be feeling it too." He glanced over at me.
"Or, I can take you, Connor, and Oaken to Joe's after practice tonight to make up for it?" I gave him a small smile.
He pursed his lips and nodded. "Deal." He smiled. "Carter." He pointed at him.
"Yes Mason."
"Saturday, girls are going shopping for Ho-Co. So, Ben, Connor, Ryan and I are gonna go to Hardy's. You interested?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Uh." He gave him a look.
"It was Ryan's idea. You're seeing Abby, Abby's happy. Havannah said yes to Ho-Co, she's going dress shopping with them, or would you rather go dress shopping than play with golf simulators, batting cages, basketball shoot out, and other fun fill sport oriented games. I'm sure you'd look pretty in pink."
"Alright." Carter laughed. "I will go."
"Awesome." Mason leaned forward and patted his back.
"Someones in a better mood." I leaned over and whispered.
"You and Joe's are two of my favorite things." He whispered.
"This mean your edge is gonna be cool?"
"Nope. I suggest he doesn't step to me today because my fuse is short." HE nodded.
I sighed and shook my head.
Ryan, he ended up being a little occupied at lunch, so Ben and I met at my locker before we headed to the cafeteria.
But Oaken came scurrying down the hall.

"Oak!" I yelled.
He stopped and sighed.
"Yes, I see you." I nodded. "Come here."
He turned and walked back. "What?"
"What is wrong?" I shook my head.
"Nothing, I gotta-"
"Oaken." Ben crossed his arms.
He sighed. "Do you think Mason and Connor can take my hockey stick back?"
"Why?" Ben raised his eye brows.
"Because I can't try out." He shook his head.
"And why the hell not?" I crossed my arms.
"Because, Tyson Ball, I guess, saw my name on the try out sheet, for his position which is the one Will told me I was going for, and he told me that if I try out, and I steal his spot, that I was gonna regret it."
"Tyson threatened you." Ben nodded.
"Ben it's not a big deal, I just won-"
"Hell no. You're trying out, where is he?"
Now you could actually hear Ben's voice change.
"He's at his locker." Oaken shook his head.
"Lets go." Ben grabbed Oaken and I and basically dragged us around the school.
"Ben, I'm gonna be late for class." Oaken whined.
"I don't give a shit." Ben shook his head.
"Let's just, go let Oaken find Connor." I nodded.
"Thank you." Oaken peeled free and ran.
We finally made it down the hall, filled with people unfortunately, and Ben yelled Tyson's name as soon as we walked up to his locker.
"Can I help you?" He turned around and crossed his arms.
"Yeah, you can stay the hell away from Oaken Pate." Ben nodded.
"And why would I do that." Tyson shook his head.
"Because he's a fucking freshman. If you're pickinf on someone, why don't you pick on someone your own size and age. I for one, would be glad."
Tyson let out a small laugh. "Brooks, you might be my age, but you are not my size."
I mean, he's not wrong. In the slightest. But my heart, it jumped out of my body as soon as I heard a voice.
"No, but I am."
My fuse, like I told Olivia, is already short, so when I heard from my locker Ben telling Tyson to stay away from Oaken, and then him telling him to pick on someone his own age and size, and him say something about Ben. The fuse had made it to the explosive, and I walked right on over.
"No, but I am." I pushed Ben out of the way and lightly moved Olivia.
"And what is it any of your business Hollow." Tyson shook his head.
"Oaken Pate." I nodded. "He is my business."
"My business isn't."
"It is now." I nodded.
"Mason." I heard Olivia say lightly and grab my arm.
"Don't." I looked down at her and back to Tyson.
"You like picking on freshman?" I stood directly in front of him. "Make you feel big? Intimidating? Takes a real tough guy to step to someone 4 years younger than he is. You know, Oaken's 14, you're 18. Such a big man move." I crossed my arms. "So like Ben said, why don't you stay away from Oaken Pate. Before you get someone stepping to you next."
"Hollow I would crush you." He nodded.
I pursed my lips, nodded, and I pretty much threw my back pack on the floor, and I stepped so close to him that our chests were about an inch from touching. "So do it."
He just stood there with his jaw clenched.
"What's the matter? Don't know what to do when someone your size steps to you and they don't back down?" I shook my head. "You don't scare me Tyson, you never have. And the only reason I haven't hit you yet, is because this girl, she wouldn't be very happy if I did." I pointed at Olivia. "So, you think you can crush me, do it." I yelled. "I'm right here. In your face. I'm not going anywhere. And tonight, when Connor and I walked Oaken to try outs, and pick him up, he better be in one fucking piece telling me you stayed the hell away from him. Because if not, we're gonna have a big fucking problem unless you wanna handle it here. Go ahead, crush me you punk little bitch. See how far it gets you with me. I'm not a freshman, I fight back."
"Hollow I will bust your fucking jaw and not think twice about it." He nodded.
I turned my head and tapped my face. "It's right here. Lets see it."
"Nah, I'm not doing it here. That would ruin any future chance I have with Little Miss Pate over here." He smirked.
I swear to god, I grabbed this kid by his shirt and slammed him against the locker so hard, it echoed through the hall.
"Mason." Ben grabbed my arm. "Come on, not here." He shook his head.
"Mason!" Connor yelled as he ran over and grabbed my other arm. "Let go."
I looked at Dyson and let out a small laugh. "They just saved your fucking life." I nodded and let go.
"Please just walk away." Olivia gave me her sad eyes.
"Mason it's fine. Just please." Oaken sighed.
"You're going tonight." I threw my arm around Oaken and started walking.
"I'll see you on the ice Oaken." We heard Tyson say.
"Oh shit." Ben looked at Connor and Olivia, who both had their 'someones getting their ass whooped' faces on.
"Nope." Ben and I grabbed Connor as he tried walking back down the hall.
"Liv, no!" Oaken yelled as she slipped out of his arms.
She walked right up to this guy, whose slightly shorter than I am, and punched him in his face so hard that he was bent over grabbing his face.
She grabbed him by his chin with one hand and lifted his head. "Little miss Pate, is a lot meaner than they are when it comes to her little brother. And if you do anything to hurt my brother to keep him from playing, you get me, and I'm not one to fucking play with."
I smirked and nodded as she let him go.
He stood up and looked at all of us.
"She doesn't back down either." I shook my head.
That, is my girl.
Like actually my girl.
But this might be a problem.
She actually scares the hell out of me.
I'm going to homecoming with a psycho.
SHIT.
I have to figure out how to get her to homecoming with me.
After practice and try-outs, we went to Joe's the I spent the rest of the night trying to come up with a plan.
I think I have one.
Luckily, when I called Ryan, he said he'd help.
Let the 4 day plan, commence.
