《Taming The Bad Boy》55.

It's Friday, and Olivia has put me through the ringer.
Don't get me wrong, I understand that she can't control it right now, this has probably been the hardest week of her life. But around Wednesday when she started whipping candles across the house at Connor because 'this is all your fucking fault' it finally hit me that this all actually happened.
I helped break her and her boyfriend up because subconsciously I wanted her but couldn't admit it. I finally did do something about wanting her. I took her on my first actual date that didn't involve me hooking up in the back seat or bed of my truck. I've scaled the side of her house. She's spent the night at my house without being drugged. I helped her through the drama of Ryan and Abby. Talked her through the Sienna stuff. I got her pregnant. She had a miscarriage. I told her I love her.
It feels like we've been together for like 8 years. When we've only been seeing each other for almost 2 months. My god. I actually love her.
Which is why last night, I planned a little something for Olivia, but have to run through about 5 people in order to make it happen. The first 4, the parents. Well, we're gonna go with 2. The 2 who can make the other ones fall in line with just a look.
The moms. My mom was over at the Pates when I got up.
I marched my ass through their back door with a purpose after I got ready to head to school.
Connor has been taking Olivia's car all week to school, and he's been taking Oaken and picking up Amber, so I was smart enough to wait till he was gone.
"Birth giver, mother number 2." I closed the door behind me.
"Good morning honey. How are you feeling this morning?" My mom gave me a small smile.
"Wondering the same thing about her." I pointed up the stairs.
"She's alright today. She's just excited to actually get out of the house for a little while. Abby, Josh, and Sienna are going to take her to get her nails done when they get here." Holly nodded.
"Speaking, of leaving the house." I pursed my lips. "I need to ask you a really big favor." I folded my hands and sat at the island. "From both of you."
"OK." They both gave me a look simultaneously.
"I was wondering, if you two could maybe, get the dads out of the house for a few hours tonight since they'll be home in an hour and a half. I just, I want to do something for Olivia, help her relax a little bit and I don't want her to have to leave the house."
"Mason, she can't have sex yet." Holly shook her head. "Not for another 2 weeks when she's healed."
"No sex involved. Promise." I held my hand up and swore. "Just the thought of sex right now scares the hell out of me. It does involve her bath tub though, and the dads even though they know about our, situation, I'm sure would prefer me not be in a bath tub with her but as my mother and other mother, I'm hoping you'll trust me enough to at least take a bubble bath with her while eating Joe's and just having a normal conversation aside from losing the baby and letting her know that she means the world to me."
They both sighed and looked at each other. "There is that new steak house we've been dying to try over in state college." Holly nodded.

"Which is an hour away, probably about 2 hours for dinner and convincing them to let us shop for a little while, and an hour back. 4 hours enough?" My mom looked at me.
"4 hours is perfect." I nodded.
"And my sons?" Holly crossed her arms.
"Oaken and Amber are going on a double date with Jake and Kelsey and staying at their apartment tonight after Kelsey finally talked Jake in to it, and I've got Connor covered."
"No sex of any form Mason." My mom pointed at me.
"No sex." I nodded.
"Alright then. We will make sure we leave by 5:30. That's when they should be home from nails." Holly nodded.
"Thank you!" I jumped up and wrapped my arms around both of them. "Love you both! Can I run up and see her."
"She may still be sleeping, but sure." Holly smiled and shook her head.
"Thank you." I smiled and basically ran out of the kitchen.
I made my way up the stairs and quietly in to her room, and she was in fact still sleeping.
I gently crawled on to her bed, and just started showering her with light kisses on her cheeks, her forehead, and finally her lips.
She groaned. "Abby go home."
"Now what the fuck would Abby be doing kissing you?" I pulled away.
Her eyes fluttered open and she gave me a look. "Have you met her?"
I nodded. "Touche. Good morning." I leaned down and kissed her again.
She sighed and wrapped her arms around me pulling me down on top of her. "Can you just stay here with me today?"
I sighed. "Baby I wish I could." I nodded. "But I missed half a day Tuesday. However, I have something planned for you tonight when you get home from nails." I gave her a small smile.
"Please tell me it involves this." She reached down and grabbed my dick.
I gasped and flinched. "Ol." I shook my head. "We can't have sex for a few more weeks."
"Why?" She whined.
"Because your body isn't healed yet. You just had surgery last weekend, and you already want to have sex?"
"My hormones have my sex drive sky rocketing." She nodded.
"Well, in 2 more weeks if it's still sky rocketing, we'll start back in slowly. But, enough about that. Our parents are going out to dinner, Oaken is staying at Jake's, and I will take care of Connor. So you, just be back by 5:30-6:00 OK?"
She sighed and nodded.
"Go back to sleep." I kissed her again. "I'll call you at lunch."
"OK."
I crawled off and headed for the door. "I love you."
She let out a small smile. "I know." She nodded.
I closed the door behind me and just threw my head back.
Why, why can't she just say it back.
It was possibly the scariest thing I've ever said in my life, aside from tonight which, scary. But god, I just want her to say it.
I jumped in my truck and headed to school. Basically sprinted to Ryan's locker if we're being honest.
"I need a favor." I took a deep breath and calmed myself down.
"Don't you think I'm doing enough for you?" He laughed.
"But it's for Ol. Please." I scrunched my face.
He sighed. "What's up?"
"I need you to tell Connor you need guy time tonight so I can do something nice for Ol, after the shit-tastic week she's had, she just, she needs a good night. And I have something nice planned."

"Well, what do you have planned." He crossed his arms.
I looked around, leaned in, and whispered.
"Really?" He pulled away and raised his eyebrows.
I nodded.
"Hey Ryan." A girl named Kaylie walked up to us.
"Uh, hi Kay." He nodded.
"I was wonder, do you have plans after school? Maybe you and I can go grab a bite to eat?" She pursed her lips.
I raised my eyebrows and smirked.
"Uhm." He looked at me. "I do." He nodded. "I'm hanging out with Connor tonight. And, I don't wanna come off as rude, you're great, and you're cute, but, I'm not really interested in you like that. I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression this week when I was helping you study." He scrunched his face.
"Oh." She looked down. "OK. Well, thank you, for being honest. Not many guys would be." She shook her head. "But, if you ever are interested, give me call?"
"Sure." He nodded. "Again, I'm sorry."
"It's OK." She gave him a small smile. "Hey Mason." She nodded and walked away.
"Dude." I shook my head. "What the hell was that?"
"I guess I gave her the wrong signals. I just." He threw his head back. And then his phone went off. He pulled it out of his pocket and let out a small smile.
"And who was that?" I laughed.
"Don't worry about it." He shook his head. "But, you owe me."
"I owe you big. For everything you're doing. Thank you." I nodded.
"You're just lucky I want this for you and Liv." He threw his arm over my shoulder and we walked to class.
Thank god for Ryan.
He convinced Connor to stay at his house tonight.
Which means I am all set for my night with Liv.
I can not tell you how amazing it feels to actually be out of the house.
These stages of grief that my mother was telling me about, ran straight through me like a Mack Truck. I went from bargaining Monday with telling Ryan literally everything. Denial Tuesday while screaming at my mom that I was not pregnant and coming up with bullshit scenarios. To so angry to the point where I was chucking candles at Connor saying it was his fault, which, from the beginning of the school year with Cam, him breaking us up, I would've never ended up with Mason, and I wouldn't have actually gotten pregnant and lost a baby. Yesterday was depression, where I sent Ben in to an anxiety attack because he's not to good with girls crying. And now, there's nothing that I can actually do about it other than accept what happened, and take better care of myself.
Which is why I was ecstatic when Abby, Josh, and Sienna said we were going to get nails done, because my fingers are looking busted.
But the three people who were supposed to be cheering me up today, seem to be the ones who need cheered up.
"What is going on with you 3?" I shook my head.
"Nothing." Josh shook his head.
"Who knows you three better than I do?" I gave them a look as Glenda was taking my old nails off. "Josh, you first."
He took a deep breath. "I feel like a shitty friend." He nodded.
"Why?" I shook my head.
"I've only been over once this week to see you." He shook his head. "I've been so, attached to Holden that I haven't even come to check on you."
"You have a life Josh." I nodded. "I'm alright."
"It's not the point Liv, you're my best friend. I should've been to see you. But seeing you in pain, not something I like and I feel like shit about it."
I sighed. "Ab?"
She looked down. "Same thing. I've been so focused on Carter because I can't stand seeing you hurt. I haven't been over at all." She shook her head.
"Boo, I would've rather you guys been with your boys than worrying about me. I just, I kind of needed the week to rest and relax, or at least try to." I nodded. "You're amazing friends. All three of you. Which brings me to you Sie, what's up?"
"Being at your house every day this week, have you notice how Connor wont even look at me?" She looked at me.
"We noticed at school." Josh nodded. "And that he who shall not be named ever the fuck again, has not been."
"Are you really surprised by that?" Abby looked at him. "Connor punched him in the face twice, hit him with a lacrosse stick, and kicked him in the head."
"He hasn't even talked to me." Sienna shook her head.
"I know." I nodded. "I think he's still trying to process everything. He came home after school to get stuff to stay at Ry's, and he looked a little too over the moon about it."
"Well, probably because I had to rip a candle out of your hand Wednesday night so you didn't throw it at him, after throwing 4." She nodded.
"Enough about us though, how are you boo?" Abby asked.
I sighed. "I'm OK. I'm just happy to be out of the house finally. I wish I was dancing tomorrow, but, unfortunately I'll have to settle with watching you kill it with Will."
"I don't know how you do it." She shook her head.
"What do you mean?"
"Liv, you're the person at that studio with the most dances every single competition for the past 4 years. I have 3 extra dances this competition, and I'm dying." She nodded. "And even with the 3 extra dances, you still have done more."
"I wish I was dancing." I threw my head back.
"2 more weeks boo. 2 more weeks and you'll be back." Josh nodded.
We finished our nails, and I was actually feeling a lot better as I walked in to my house with pink nails and rose gold sparkles. I was slightly starting to feel like myself again.
"Liv?" I heard Mason yell from my room.
"Yes!" I yelled back.
"Don't come up, I'll be right down." He yelled.
Now what in the hell could he be doing in my room that I can't just go flop in my bed.
My back was killing me from all the walking. Sitting up for so long to get my nails done, my stomach muscles were killing me, my staples were itching like crazy, and now I just want to go lay down.
A few minutes later he came running up the stairs.
"You alright?" He gave me a look.
I nodded.
"Olivia Annabel." He crossed his arms.
I sighed. "My back hurts and my stomach is killing me."
"Well lucky for you, I have the perfect thing for that." He walked over and held his hand out.
I gave him a look, but took it and he helped me up the stairs.
"What were you doing in my room?" I asked as we got to the top.
"Well, after this week, I figured you could use a little quiet time, just, relaxing, especially after your first time out of the house all week, I assumed you'd be hurting a little. Look at that, I was right." He opened my door and pulled me to my bathroom. "So, how about a nice little bubble bath?" He smiled.
I looked around my bathroom and smiled. My bathtub was filled with bubbles, the lights were dim, there were small candles lit everywhere, he had music playing over my shower speaker, and 2 food containers and 2 cups filled with something red with cherries in them.
"What is this?" I shook my head.
"Well, in case you don't remember, you told me that after a long day and my back hurting, that I would be sitting in a bubble bath, which your back is hurting. So I figured, soak in a nice relaxing bubble bath without your parents running in every 10 minutes to check on you, fall in to the sweet escape from reality with nice smelly candles and your 'feel the music' playlist, and I got you your fire burger from Joe's with waffle fries and the habenero ranch, and you can't drink alcohol with the medication you're on right now, so I did you one better." He smiled and handed me a glass.
I raised my eyebrows and took a sip.
"You made me a Shirley Temple." I pouted.
"Us." He nodded. "Both of us. What do you say babe, take a bubble bath with me?"
"You're going to take one too?" I smiled.
He nodded. "No sex." He shook his head. "Just, I miss being close to you. So, we can take a nice, romantic bubble bath while you shove a burger down your throat and we can talk. I have something I want to talk to you about."
I pursed my lips and nodded. "OK. But uh, you're going to have to help me. I can't really lift my arms or bend well still." I scrunched my face.
"I will gladly take all your clothes off of you." He let out a small laugh.
I grabbed my brush to put my hair up while he stripped and wrapped a towel around his waist.
He walked over. "You ready?" He looked down at me.
I nodded.
He pulled the sleeves out straight for me while I pulled my arms out, and he lifted my shirt over my head.
He took a deep breath, and just ran his fingers over my staples. "Do they still hurt?"
"Not so much anymore." I shook my head. "Just, itchy."
He closed his eyes and shook his head.
"Hey, I'm fine." I nodded. "I've processed a lot being alone this week, OK?"
He sighed and nodded. He squatted down and pulled the hem of my leggings down. "No panties?" He looked up at me.
"Panty lines." I shrugged.
He shook his head and peeled them off my legs, then helped me in to my bathtub and sat down in front of me after grabbing our food off the counter.
We ate, we drank, he told me how school went this week. God I never thought I would actually miss school. But I miss school so much. Apparently, I owe Ryan a huge thank you, because Mason is the reason he asked Connor to stay tonight.
I told him about the conversations with the girls and Pook while getting our nails done. He says they're all crazy if they think they're bad friends. My point proven.
He's got his first basketball practice with Connor Monday, which means I have to stick around after school until after they're done, because I am still not allowed to drive, and Oaken has his first day of hockey try-outs too.
We finished eating and he pushed our containers away from the tub. He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him. "I need to talk to you about something." He nodded.
"OK." I nodded.
"Well, we, have been seeing each other for almost 2 months now. We've gone on countless dates. You've stayed at my house multiple times, I have endured your crazy ex-boyfriend on a few different occasions, and we have obviously been to the pits of hell and back."
"Oh trust me, I'm more than aware of all of that." I shook my head.
"All of those phrases are things I have never actually said before when it comes to a girl. But I've also said, that you're not just any girl."
"Where are you going with this Mason." I let out a small laugh.
"It's going, to another phrase that I have also never said." He nodded.
"OK." I laughed again.
"I was wondering if maybe, you'd be interested in taking things a step further, before we tell Connor?" He pursed his lips. "That way when we do tell him, he'll understand that we are actually together, not just a fling."
"A step further, meaning?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Meaning, maybe instead of referring to what we're doing as a situation, and us just seeing each other when it comes to our parents, Jake, Oaken, Amber, and Ryan, that I'll actually be able to call you my girlfriend?" He scrunched his face.
I sighed. "Mason, I don't-"
He cut me off. "Come on Olivia." He whined. "I really, really want this. I want you." He nodded. "I love you, every part of you. Your jacked up feet." He let out a small laugh. "Every single one of your fingers." He pulled my hand up and kissed all 5 of the pads of my fingers. "All these messy ass curls." He reached up and pulled my hair tie out and ran his fingers through my hair. "These bright blue eyes." He pulled my head closer. "The dimples in your chubby cheeks." He kissed my cheeks. "Your soft, pink lips." He leaned forward and kissed me. "With and without the plumper by the way." He nodded. "But the thing I love the most is how you make me feel Ol. I want to keep feeling it. I want to feel more of it. I want to be the guy who gives you everything. So please, please just say yes." He kissed my lips. "Let me be the boyfriend you deserve." He pulled away.
I literally felt like I melted. Completely melted in my bath tub full of bubbles. He's really fucking serious about this. He's not just trying to make me feel better after this week. He means it. Jesus Christ.
"Really?" I pursed my lips.
He nodded. "Please?"
I can not tell you how far my smile stretched across my face. "If you mean all that, how could I possibly say no, especially since you fed me and you're covered in bubbles." I nodded.
"Really!" He yelled and wrapped his arms around me. "You really mean it shit brick! You're my girlfriend?"
"OK, shit brick, really?" I shook my head.
"Still not changing." He shook his head. "You really will?"
I nodded.
"Oh my god I love you." He grabbed the sides of my face and kissed me, hard.
