Well, it went from Abby being an emotional wreck last week, to Ryan being one this week.

My stomach. Still twisty. But the stress being calmed down this week, it's gotten better.

Now, it's Friday, again. I am spending the night with Connor, Oaken, and probably Mason because they've been attached to the hip this week.

Abby has her date with Carter.

Sienna is staying at Ian's.

Ben and Josh both have dates.

And Ryan, he is probably sitting home sulking like he has been.

But we did decide we're going to have the big sleepover tomorrow. No significant others besides Amber.

I was on my way to second period when Haylie Clayton came running up to me. "Olivia."

"Hi Haylie." I smiled.

"You're bestfriends with Sienna, right?" She gave me a look.

"I am. I have this period with her." I nodded.

"Could you give this to her?" She handed me a box of tea.

I gave her a look. "For?"

"Well, I was at Ian's last night, we're cousins and our moms were planning family vacations, and she left crying and holding her throat. I asked Ian what was going on and he said she just had a sore throat and wanted to go home. So I figured this might help." She smiled.

And then I remember that for some god awful reason, Sienna was wearing a turtle neck this morning when I saw her at her locker.

I nodded. "Sure." I smiled.

"Thank you, see you later." She nodded and walked away.

I walked in to second period and sat down next to her.

"So, what's with the turtle neck?" I gave her a look.

"It's just cold in here." She shrugged.

"Mhm." I nodded. "Haylie asked me to give this to you." I handed her the box of tea bags. "For your 'sore throat' Ian told her about." I raised my eyebrows.

She cleared her thoat. "Remind me to tell her thank you." She nodded.

I shook my head, and pulled the neck of her shirt down, and she had hand prints on her neck.

"Olivia!" She slapped my hands.

"What the hell is that Sienna!" I pursed my lips.

"Nothing, god." She rolled her eyes.

"Sienna you freaked out when Cameron grabbed my wrist!" I shook my head.

"You weren't screaming at him. We got in to a fight about me staying at your house tomorrow because I stayed there last weekend, I screamed when he told me I couldn't. That's it!"

"Clearly that's not it!"

"Then mind your business Ol! It's fine!"

"He's an asshole Sie! If he did this, he'll do worse!"

"And what would you know anything about it! You've had one boyfriend, and he broke up with you because of your brother! That's not happening to me!" She shook her head and looked toward the front of the room.

I scoffed, crossed my arms, and just glared toward the front of the room.

"Hey ladies." Mason smiled and sat down.

Neither of us spoke.

"What is going on?" He gave us a look.

"Ask her." I shook my head.

"Mind your own fucking business." Sienna shook her head.

"Jesus." Mason raised his eyebrows and looked toward the front of the room.

We literally sat there quietly the whole class.

And thank god the school day flew by.

I went home. Hung out with the boys.

It's about 8:30 now, and I still haven't said a word since we got here.

"Ok Ol, what is wrong?" Connor shook his head.

"Nothing." I rolled my eyes.

"You haven't even spoke." Oaken shook his head.

"Nothing to talk about." I shook my head.

"Olivia Annabel Pate what is going on." Mason crossed his arms.

"Will you guys just shut the fuck up! Please!" I yelled.

They all jumped and just looked at the TV.

About 15 minutes later, we heard a knock.

"Uhm, I'll get that." Oaken jumped up and ran down the hall.

We heard the door open. "Jesus Christ!" He yelled.

"Who is it?" Connor yelled.

Oaken came speed walking in to the living room and over to me. He bent down and whispered. "Sienna is at the door."

"For what?" I rolled my eyes.

He took a deep breath and whispered. "It looks like she got her ass beat Olivia."

I can not tell you how fast I jumped off my couch and dragged Oaken out on to the front porch with me.

There she was, sitting on my railing looking down at the ground.

"Sie?" I pursed my lips.

She looked up, her nose was crooked, she had 2 black eyes, a busted open lip, and a bruised jaw.

"Jesus christ." My jaw dropped slightly.

She took a deep breath. "I deserve a big fat I told you so." She nodded.

"You're not getting it from me." I shook my head.

She looked down. "Can I stay here tonight?" She pursed her lips.

"You should already know the answer to that." I nodded.

I looked at Oaken. "Go tell them you need to talk to them outside, wait until I text you, and just, tell them she got in to a fight." I pursed my lips.

"Can I know what actually happened?" He gave us a look.

"Ian." Sienna shook her head.

"And you want me to lie about that." He shook his head.

"Please." She looked at him.

He sighed. "Ok." He nodded

He went inside, and I watched through the door to make sure they actually walked in to the kitchen.

"Come on." I opened the door and pulled her up to my bathroom.

Oaken came inside.

"Who was it?" Connor asked.

"Can I talk to you guys outside for a minute." He pursed his lips.

"For?" I gave him a look.

"I just really need to talk to you guys about something." He nodded and walked through the kitchen.

We, confused as fuck, just got up and followed him.

"What's up?" Connor nodded.

Oaken just pulled his phone out, looked at it for a minute, it went off, and he put it in his pocket.

"Sienna was at the door." He pursed his lips.

"Oh, so she just didn't want to talk to us?" I gave him a look.

"Uh, she got in to a fight." He looked down.

"Sienna Barber. A fight?" Connor gave him a look.

He nodded.

Connor and I just looked at eachother and with raised eyebrows and smiles.

"Sienna getting in to a fight just sounds scary." I nodded.

He nodded.

We both jumped up off the table and ran in to the house.

"Guys dont!" We heard Oaken yell running behind us.

We sprinted up the stairs, through Olivia's room, and to her bathroom. But it was locked.

"Ol!" Connor yelled.

"Not now!" She yelled back.

"Sienna got in to a fight." I laughed.

"Go!" She yelled.

"Open the door Ol." Connor yelled.

"Ol, just, open the door." We heard Sienna quietly.

She unlocked the door, we walked in, and she was just standing directly infront of Sienna sitting on the side of her bath tub.

"Sie, you got in to a fight?" I pursed my lips.

"Yes. You asked, now go." Olivia crossed her arms.

"Guys, come on." Oaken walked in and pulled on our arms.

And then I felt my face get really hott. "Olivia move." I shook my head.

"Mason." She pursed her lips.

She wouldn't move, so, I lightly moved her.

I felt my jaw clench.

"More like you got your ass kicked." Connor let out a small laugh.

"Connor." I looked over at him.

"What." He looked at me.

"It wasn't a fucking fight." I shook my head.

"How wasn't it." He pointed at her.

"Con." I raised my eyebrows.

And then his face went completely flat and he looked at Sienna. "Who did that."

Sienna shook her head.

"Olivia." I looked at her.

Olivia just looked down.

"I swear to god if one of you doesn't say something." Connor shook his head.

Sienna sighed and pulled down the neck of her turtle neck. "These are from last night."

She had hand prints on her throat.

"You were with Ian last night." I nodded.

"He apologized for it." She shook her head. "And I thought we were fine. Then he asked if you were going to be home for the big sleepover tomorrow. I said you were, and the rest, is pretty self explanitory." She nodded as Olivia started wiping her face again.

"Where's your phone." Connor started shaking.

"On the counter." She shook her head.

He walked over to the counter, grabbed her phone, which for some reason he had the password to, then set it back down. Then walked out.

"Where are you going!" Olivia yelled.

"The fucking lacrosse field!" He yelled as he walked through her door.

"Shit." Sienna shook her head.

"Go." Olivia looked up at me. "Make sure he doesn't go to prison, and that Ian doesn't die. Stop it if it gets to that point."

I shook my head and walked out.

Oaken followed me. "Do I call Abby and Josh."

"No." I shook my head. "Do not call anyone. They're on dates and Ryan's fuse could blow any minute." I walked down the stairs.

"Where is my son going?" Holly asked me as she walked down the hall to the living room.

I sighed. "I've got him. But you should probably go to Liv's bathroom." I nodded.

"Mason." She gave me a look.

"For once, trust me." I kissed her cheek. "I've got him mom." I walked out to my truck where Connor was waiting for me.

"Keys." He held his hand out.

"No." I shook my head. "You are not driving."

"Give me the fucking keys Mason!"

"No. If you are doing this, get in the fucking truck, I will drive." I opened my door and got in my drivers seat.

He got in the truck and was quiet almost the whole way.

"He fucking hit her." He shook his head.

"You need to think this through." I nodded.

"He fucking busted her nose Mason." He yelled.

"I know. And I am going to sit there and make sure you don't go to jail." I shook my head. "Because this is about you. Them fighting has always been about you. And because you are in love with her. SO I am going to let you do this, but do not go to fucking far."

"There is no too fucking far. He fucking hit her." He nodded.

We got to the field, and walked out. I just stood on the side lines as Connor walked on the field.

"Connor, Mason." Ian nodded. "What's up?"

"Oh, just had a lacrosse question." Connor nodded, bent down, and grabbed a lacrosse stick.

"Alright?" Ian crossed his arms.

"You ever been hit with one of these?" Connor held it up. "We're playing in gym. Just want to know what I'm in for." He nodded.

"Uh, not one of those ones. That's weighted."

"Good to know." Connor nodded again.

"And you?" Ian looked over at me. "You got a question too?"

"Nope." I crossed my arms. "Just making sure you don't end up dead." I shook my head.

"What?" He gave me a look.

I pointed behind him. He turned around, and Connor cracked him directly across his face with the scoop of the stick. He dropped.

"Jesus christ!" Ian yelled as grabbed his nose.

"There's the broken nose." Connor nodded and threw the stick on the ground.

"What the fuck!" Ian yelled as he stood up.

"Did you know, when a girl gets hit by a guy, it hurts 3 times the ammount than when a guy does?" Connor's jaw clenched

"Oh that bitch deserved it!" Ian shook his head.

Connor threw a punch. Ian dropped again.

"Fuck!" Ian screamed and covered one of his eyes.

"One of Two." Connor nodded. "And the only bitch in this entire situation, is you." Connor picked him up, and threw a punch at the other side. "There's the second." He yelled as Ian dropped to the ground a third time.

"I can't wait to fucking press charges!" Ian yelled just holding his face.

"Fucking press them!" Connor yelled. "Because when they see Sienna's face, all they're going to see when they look at me, is a guy who beat the hell out of the dude who beat his bestfriend! And when they see you, they'll see the guy who beat her! Fucking press them."

And then Connor extended his leg back, and kicked Ian directly in the side of his head.

"Connor!" I yelled.

"I'm done!" He looked at me and yelled. "Becuase there's the jaw and the busted open mouth." He looked down at Ian. He squatted down infront of him. "Now here is how this is going to go you little fucking bitch. You, are going to stay the hell away from Sienna. You're not going to go near her. You're not going to try to talk to her. You're going to stay the hell away from my sister and Abby. If you go near them, you will wish I fucking killed you. And you better hope I never see you again outside of that school." Connor stood up and pointed toward the school. "Because if I do, that punt, is going to turn in to you eating a fucking curb." Connor nodded. "Enjoy your fucking night." He literally spit on him, and walked right past me and over to my truck.

I walked over to Ian laying on the ground. "You better thank whatever god you have, that it was him and not me." I looked down at him. "Because me, I wouldn't have stopped. But this, this was about him." I bent down in his face. "Stay the fuck away from my girls." I tapped the side of his face and pointed. "If you know what's good for you." I nodded and stood up. "Any questions, you know where to find us." I shook my head and walked over to my truck.

I got in my truck. And he was sitting there still as a rock and quiet.

I closed my eyes and put my hands on my steering wheel. "Are you alright?"

"Get me the fuck home before I get out."

I took a deep breath, and we drove back to his house.

My mom came up and checked Sienna out. Her nose, was infact broke, but she reset it and bandaged it. She patched up her lip and we went downstairs to ice her jaw and her left eye, because that's the one that hurt more. But, we're alternating eyes.

My mom sighed from the oven as we were sitting at the island. "Your brother?" She turned around and pursed her lips.

"I'm sorry Momma Holly." Sienna shook her head.

"You have no reason to be sorry my baby." She walked over and wrapped her arms around Sienna. "We always want to see the best in the people we care about." She nodded.

"And when it comes to Connor. I don't think you want to know. I don't even want to know." I shook my head.

Oaken came walking in to the kitchen. "Mason just pulled in." He sat down next to us. He pulle the ice off Sienna's jaw. "Does it hurt?"

"Not as much as this." She pointed at her nose.

Oaken shook his head. "How long."

"Just the throat grab last night, and this." She nodded.

We heard the door open, close, and Connor and Mason came walking in. Mason leaned against the doorway, Connor just walked right by us, grabbed ice out of the freezer, and walked outside slamming the sliding door. He walked over to the picnic table put his hands down on the top, and just stood there with ice on his hand.

My mom looked at Mason.

"He's not in jail, Ian is not dead." Mason shook his head. "I'm pretty sure that's all you will want to know."

"Is your mom about to have a new ER patient?" She crossed her arms.

He nodded. "With all that." He pointed at Sienna's face.

She sighed and walked in to the living room.

I started to stand up.

"Just give him a minute." Mason shook his head.

"What happened?" Sienna shook her head.

"Do you really want to know?" He pursed his lips.

She nodded.

Mason sighed and jumped up on the island. "If you promise that you will go talk to him after I tell you." He nodded.

"Ok." She pursed her lips.

"All of it?" He asked.

"All of it." I nodded.

Out of no where, we heard Connor yell the word fuck. We all looked out side, and Connor literally one handed flipped the entire table over.

"He, broke his nose with a weighted lacrosse stick. Punched him in the face twice, both eyes." He nodded. "Then, kicked him in his head." He looked down. "I stopped him at that. And he told Ian that he was going to stay away from you. He wasn't going to talk to you. That he was going to stay away from you and Abby." He looked at me. "That if he went near any of you, that he was going to wish that he did kill him. And that he better hope that he never sees him outside of school, because if he did, the punt was going to turn in to him eating a curb. Then he spit on him, told him to enjoy his night, and walked to my truck."

I can not tell you how fast Sienna jumped off of the stool and walked outside.

"Oaken go see where mom is." I looked at him.

He nodded and walked out of the kitchen.

"And after he walked to the truck." I crossed my arms and looked at Mason.

He sighed. "I walked over, told him he better thank whatever god he has that it was Connor and not me, because I wouldn't have stopped. To stay away from my girls, and that if he had any questions, he knew where to find us."

"I should've said something when I saw her throat this morning." I shook my head.

He shook his head, pulled me out of my chair, and pulled me in to a hug. "This was not your fault. I told you I had her, and I didn't."

"You did, just, we didn't know." I squeezed back. "What are we supposed to tell everyone tomorrow." I pursed my lips.

"The truth." He nodded. "And that Connor handled it. Literally."

"He really spit on him?" I looked up at him.

He nodded.

I sat back down.

"I'm never going to put my hands on you." He shook his head.

"I know." I nodded.

Connor and Sienna walked back in. And he just looked at me. "You ever have a worry like that again, or see it, you fucking tell me." He nodded and walked through the kitchen.

"I've got him." Mason nodded and followed him upstairs.

Sienna and I went up to my room.

We were laying in my bed, and she just looked over at me. "I should've listened."

"I didn't want you to have to." I wrapped my arms around her.

Shortly after, we fell asleep.

But fuck, my stomach was killing me again.
