Well, I spent my entire Tuesday hiding Abby from Ryan with Josh and Sienna.
But, we did end up getting Abby to agree to go to battle of the bands. Carter, so far past the point of excited about it. But I swear, if Ryan or the guys find out what I am actually up to with this, I'm dead.
What I am actually up to, is getting Abby someone who deserves her. Because I'm going to be honest, I love Ryan, but I do not want Abby to take him back. He doesn't deserve another chance.
So here we are, Abby, Josh and I, standing at my locker before first because Sienna is off somewhere fighting with Ian. It was great while it lasted.
"I just, I'm not ready to talk to him yet." Abby shook her head.
"Have you done anything thinking on it though?" Ryan gave her a small smile.
"I have." She nodded. "Still havent made any decisions."
"Take you time boo." I rubbed her shoulder. "We've got it until then."
"Hey Olivia." I heard someone walking down the hall.
"Hey Carter." I smiled.
"Josh." He nodded.
"What's up hott stuff?" Josh smiled.
"Oh Joshua you make me blush." He laughed and shook his head. "Hi Abby." He pursed his lips.
"Hi Carter." She looked down.
"Uhm. I know, you've had a pretty bad last few days." He nodded. "So, I figured I'd try to do a little something to cheer you up."
"Why?" She shook her head.
"Because I haven't seen you smile in a while, and the school hasn't lit up since last Friday." He shrugged, he handed her a bag, but sticking out the top, were flowers.
I raised my eyebrows and looked at Josh. His jaw was slightly dropped.
"What is this?" She looked up at him.
"A few of your favorite things." He nodded. "Daisy's, blue because it's your favorite color. There's macaroons in there, the mint ones with the chocolate cream."
She reached in to the bag and pulled out a jar of ice-cream. "My favorite ice-cream?" She pursed her lips.
"Salted caramel truffle." He gave her a small smile. "And, peach rings."
"Oh my god." She shook her head. And she finally, after 4 days, let out a slight smile. "How did you know any of that." She looked up at him.
He put his hands in his pockets and looked down. "Because any guy with a working brain and eyes, would be an idiot not to pay attention to you." He nodded. "Especially with a smile like that." He pursed his lips. "You look gorgeous today." He smiled. "I'll see you in english Olivia." He started walkin away.
She took a deep breath. "Carter."
He turned around.
"Thank you." She nodded.
He smiled again. "Any time pretty girl." He nodded and walked away.
Her jaw dropped slightly and she started lightly shaking as she turned in to my locker.
"I havent had this ice-cream in so long because Ryan likes the Strawberry Cheescake." She shook her head.
"Well, now you can." Josh nodded.
"I can't believe this." She pursed her lips.
"Oh boy." I looked at Josh.
"What?" Abby just looked at her flowers.
"Soft spot growing softer." I nodded.
"He's just being nice." She shook her head.
"Ab." Josh looked down at her. "Does Ryan even know your favorite candy?"

Her face completely changed. "Take this." She handed me the bag full of things and started walking down the hall.
Josh and I pretty much had to run to follow her.
And for some reason we followed her to Ryan's locker, where he and all the boys were.
"Ryan?" She walked up to him.
He turned around so fast. "Hi." He shook his head. "Oh my god, hi." He pursed his lips.
"I'm still not ready to talk, but I have a question." She nodded.
"Ok. Anything." He nodded.
Connor, Mason and Ben just looked at Josh and I with the most confused look. Mason shook his head and pointed at the bag.
I mouthed the words 'not mine.'
He nodded.
"What is my favorite candy?" She looked up at him.
"Uh, those sweet tart rope things, why." He shook his head.
She pursed her lips and nodded. "What is my favorite ice-cream?"
"The same as mine, strawberry cheesecake." He gave her a look.
Josh and I pursed our lips and looked at eachother.
"My favorite macaroons?" She sniffled.
"The rainbow with strawberry cream." He nodded.
"Ab." I shook my head.
"What is my favorite flower?" She crossed her arms.
"What is going on?" Connor looked at us.
"Uhm, roses." Ryan pursed his lips.
Her leg started shaking. "What is my favorite color." She pursed her lips.
"Pink." He nodded.
"Oh my god." Josh closed his eyes.
She scoffed and shook her head. She tooka deep breath. "Peach rings, salted caramel truffle, green mint with chocolate cream, daisy's, and blue." She nodded. "We were together for 2 years, and you know nothing about me." She wiped her face and grabbed the bag from me. "But at least someone does." She walked away.
"Abby!" He yelled.
She just kept walking.
I just put my hand over my mouth.
"Good job." Josh nodded
"What the fuck was that." Ryan looked at Josh and I .
"You kissing her goodbye." I nodded. "Really Ryan." I shook my head.
"That's what she eats when we're together!" He threw his hands in the air.
"Because they're your favorite." I nodded. "Have you ever asked her what hers was?"
"I just though-"
"You thought wrong." Josh shook his head.
"Who was that from?" Ryan started shaking.
"Someone who knows." I shook my head.
Josh and I walked away.
And the next thing I knew, I was walking in to English, and for the first time, I was the first one there.
I sat down, shortly followed by Mason.
He sat down. "So, are you gonna tell me, or am I giving you the silent treatment for keeping it from me." He pursed his lips.
"What are we keeping from Mason." Sienna smiled and sat down.
"Abby got a gift from someone this morning." He nodded.
"I saw it on her snap, Ryan didn't give that to her?"
I shook my head. "Nope, Ryan didn't even know any of it was her favorite."
"Uh, the girl eats peach rings religously." Sienna shook her head.
"Cam, can you save that seat." I leaned forward.
"Sure." He nodded.
And then the person I needed walked in. "Carter, why don't you sit infront of us today." I nodded.
"Ok." He smiled and sat down next to Cam.
"I have a question." I pursed my lips.
"Oh boy." He smile and shook his head.

"How on gods green earth did you know all that." I nodded.
"What do you mean?" He gave me a look.
"Her favorite candy?" I raised my eyebrows.
"The girl eats peach rings religiously." He shook his head.
"Olivia, no fucking way." Mason looked at me.
"Oh how did I know." Sienna smiled.
"Her favorite flower?" I pursed my lips.
"Uh, 7th grade bio presentations. We had to do one on our favorite plant. Hers was daisy's." He nodded.
"Her favorite ice-cream?" Sienna raised her eyebrows.
"8th grade ice-cream party. She brought in her own because it was her favorite, she let me try it." He shrugged.
"Her favorite macaroon." Mason shook his head.
"She's eaten the same macaroons every day since Freshman year in history. History stresses her out and they're her comfort food." He nodded.
"Her favorite color?" I looked at Sienna.
"She's worn the same blue sapphire necklace since like, the 6th grade." He shrugged.
"How didn't notice any of that." Mason looked at Sienna and I.
"I knew the macaroons." Cam raised his hand.
"What's the big deal?" Carter gave us a look.
"Uhm, after you gave her that, Josh asked her if Ryan even knew her favorite candy. She actually ran to find Ryan, and asked her what her favorites of all those were. And he knew none of them." I pursed my lips.
"Oh." Carter pursed his lips.
"Oh no Ryan." Cam shook his head.
"No the fuck he didn't." Sienna's jaw dropped slightly.
I nodded.
"How hard is it to pay attention to the person you 'love'" She shook her head.
"Right." I shook my head.
Cameron raised his eyebrows and crossed his arms. "Raisinettes, panda-paws, you dig out the chunks of chocolate first and try to get at least one paw in every bite of ice-cream, lavendar honey macaroons, wine red phalaenopsis orchids, even though your favorite color is yellow."
I got the most shocked look on my face. "Uhm, there's only one thats wrong." I nodded.
"Champagne and strawberry macaroons from Dana's Bakery in newyork city." Mason pursed his lips.
I pointed at Mason.
"Now how was I supposed to know that." Cameron shook his head.
"You weren't." I shrugged.
"Back to that comment you made the first day of school." Cameron smiled at Mason.
"Oh boy." Carter kicked back and looked back and forth between them.
"This should be good." Sienna smiled.
"Oh my god." I shook my head. "You guys just agreed to be civil."
"And we will still be." Mason nodded. "Favorite cookie." He crossed his arms.
"Oatmeal Raisin. Favorite drink." Cameron tilted his head.
"Blueberry redbull." Mason smiled. "Favorite tv show?"
"America's Next Top Model." Cameron shrugged. "Favorte movie?"
"The Patriot." Mason nodded. "Favorite book?"
"Turtles All The Way Down. Fav-"
Mason cut him off. "Hah! No! A Heart in a Body in the World by Deb Caletti!"
"Damn it!" Cameron threw his head back.
"You tried." Mason nodded.
"How did you even know that?" I looked at Mason.
"I bought it for you 2 years ago when we were in New York, you read it in a day and have read it 14 times since Ol." He shook his head. "13 years of experience kid. Don't try me." He laughed.
"Favorite type of fry." Cameron crossed his arms.
"Waffle." Mason nodded.
"I like the friendly fighting more." I nodded.
"At least your not smacking them out of chairs." Sienna shrugged.
"I deserved it." Cam nodded.
"I like sitting over here." Carter nodded.
"I am not saying shit to Ryan about this by the way. You two are on your own." Mason pointed at SIenna and I.
"We're just going to leave things where they fall." I shrugged.
"And I'm not scared of Ryan." Carter shook his head.
"Carter Prudeitt, where did your balls come from." Sienna laughed.
"PPF." He nodded.
I nodded. "PPF."
"I don't like this inside stuff." Mason shook his head.
The bell rang, and Mason decided to wait for me, the same way he did yesterday to see how I act when I stand up. Thanks alot Cameron.
My stomach did slightly feel better, but still achey.
School flew by, my new choreo was coming along great.
I went home to see Oaken laying across Ambers lap on the couch.
"School night." I nodded.
"My parents will be here in 30." Amber smiled.
"We went to the diner, tenders and waffle fries on the counter." Oaken pointed to the kitchen.
"Mom and Dad?"
"Wednesday date night." Amber shrugged.
"Connor."
"Wednesday booty call. Sherri Lockwood I think." Oaken pursed his lips. "Mason, told me to have you go over when you got here though. He has something for you."
"Oh boy." I shook my head.
"I wanna see it!" Amber yelled as I walked through the kitchen.
I walked through the back gate and knocked on his kitchen door. He was sitting at the counter. He waved me in.
"You have something for me?" I asked ask I closed the door behind me.
"I do." He smiled and walked over. "But first." He lifted me up on to the counter. "Hello beautiful." He leaned in and kissed me.
"Hi." I smiled.
"Before I give you this, I need you to be honest with me, and I will never repeat it, ok?"
I nodded.
"Are you trying to set Abby up with Carter."
I sighed. "Yes." I nodded.
"Liv." He shook his head.
"What! Ryan doesn't deserve another chance, and Carter is a sweet guy. He's funny, and smart, and can take care of her. He'd never cheat on her, and he'd treat her like gold. He-"
"Alright." He yelled. "I get it. But please, leave me out of it. If Ryan gets out of line I will step in because you are right. But I want no part, ok." He nodded.
"Ok." I nodded. "And Sie and Josh don't know either." I shook my head.
He sighed. "Meddlesome." He nodded. "But now, you may have this." He pulled a bag out from under the counter and set it next to me.
"Second present in 3 days, what is up?" I shook my head.
"Nothing. I was just inspired by Carter Prudeitt and his new found balls, and my little debate with lover-boy." He nodded.
I gave him a look with a small smile and reached in the bag.
I grabbed something that felt like a jar and pulled it out. I smiled. "Mango-pineapple." I nodded.
"Your favorite candle." He smiled.
I reached in the bag again, and pulled another thing out. "Love Fragrance Mist." I raised my eyebrows.
"Your favorite body spray." He nodded.
I reached back in and grabbed what felt like a box. Which is exactly what I pulled out, a long small box. My jaw dropped slightly. "What is this." I shook my head.
"Your favorite color." He pursed his lips. "Open it."
I gave him a look and opened the box, and it was a beautiful bracelette with a plate with yellow opals. "Mason." I shook my head.
"Look on the back of the plate." He nodded.
I sighed and flipped over the plate, and on the back it was engraved with the words 'you have me.' "Mason I can't take this." I shook my head.
"Ol, I want you too. It wasn't that expensive, I promise." He smiled.
I let out a small smile. "I love this." I nodded.
"I was hoping so." He pursed his lips and took it out of the box. He wrapped it around my wrist and clasped it.
I leaned in and kissed him.
"There however is one more thing in that bag." He nodded.
"Haven't you gotten me enough." I shook my head.
"Oh no, that's for me." He shrugged.
I gave him another look and reached back in to the bag.
I pulled out a Victoria's Secret box. I smirked and shook my head as I opened it.
It was a black for love and lemons faye lace bra and thong set with a cute little robe to match.
"For you huh." I nodded.
"Well, this weekend does make a month since I managed to con you in to seeing me, so, I also got you this." He smiled and handed me a little card with the name Frazier Suites on it.
"The Fraizer." I raised my eyebrows.
"I mean, if you're up to it." He nodded. "You will be spending the night with Amber for some sister girlfriend bonding, which is what she already told everyone, so you are clear. And apparently I am a whore so no one will think twice if I'm gone." He shrugged.
"You are a whore." I nodded.
"And Friday you'll see how much of a whore I can be." He smirked. "If you're ok with a little man-handling."
"Throw me around and pull my hair." I nodded.
"Olivia Annabel Pate where have you been all my life." He shook his head.
"Next door. Which, I need to go before we both end up dead." I sighed.
He sighed too and kissed me. "Goodnight baby." He smiled.
"Goodnight." I kissed him again.
I hopped down and walked back over to my house.
"Well!" Amber yelled.
I shook my head, handed her my bag, and showed her my wrist.
She looked over at Oaken.
"Fucking Mason." He laughed and shook his head.
"So, what exactly are you going to be doing while she and I have our 'sleepover'." I pointed at him.
"Entertaining tweedle-dee. Pre-caution." He nodded. "I told him I needed a brother night to talk because I'm scared of the sex thing again."
"You're not though, right?" Amber pursed her lips.
"No, I am." He nodded. "Only because of how I feel about you pretty. You're always going to make me nervous. But when it does happen, it'll be perfect. For both of us." He smiled.
"Where did I find you." She smiled and shook her head.
I raised my hand.
"Right." They both nodded.
"Wait, what does 'you have me' mean?" Oaken asked and grabbed my wrist.
"Do you really want to know?" I gave him a look.
"No." He got a gross face and shook his head.
"I do." Amber raised her hand.
"Think The Fault in Our Stars." I nodded.
"Awe. Okay Hazel Grace without the cancer." She pouted.
"God I love you." I shook my head and walked upstairs.
