I woke up the next morning with a horrific stomach ache.

But I have dance tonight, so I'm going to just push through it.

I got up, got dressed, ran curl cream through my hair, did my make up, and walked down stairs.

"Baby, are you ok?" My dad asked. "You're looking a little green."

I nodded. "Just a stomach ache."

"Have you heard from Ab?" Connor pursed his lips.

"Are you asking for you, or Ryan?" I gave him a look.

"Me." He nodded.

"I'm heading over to pick her and Josh up. Josh first incase Ryan is still home."

"How is she?" Oaken asked.

"Well, she's going to school, so she's pulling a me." I nodded.

"Are we still on for tonight?" Connor looked up at me.

"Good morning Pates." Mason walked in quietlly. "Ol, can we talk outside for a minute. About Ab." He raised his eyebrows.

I looked at Connor. "We are." I nodded. "And sure." I walked outside with Mason following behind. I closed the door as he walked by.

"What's up." I crossed my arms.

"You closed your curtains." He put his hands in his pockets and pursed his lips.

I sighed. "I just needed a night." I nodded. "Push the doubt out."

"Please, don't doubt me Ol." He shook his head.

"I don't." I shook my head. "With everything that happend this weekend, I just needed a minute. It wasn't fair to think the worst because of Ryan. I'm sorry."

"You have no reason to be." He gave me a small smile. "I just need you to talk to me. Ok? You really freaked me out yesterday, then last night with you closing the curtains, I thought the worst too."

"Can you bare with me for a few days please." I pursed my lips. "I'm going to be a little out of it."

"I know." He nodded. "And I can. Just, promise me this won't change anything, ok?"

"I promise." I nodded and gave him a small smile.

"Thank you. Are you feeling ok?"

"Yeah." I nodded. "Just a stomach ache. Probably because Ryan made me sick to my stomach all weekend."

"If you're picking Abby up, we can grab you something for it. Gingerale?"

I smiled. "Thank you."

He nodded. "Of course."

Oaken opened the door. "You two ready?"

We both nodded.

I went to go get Abby and Josh.

We were at her locker with Sienna, when Sienna's face changed.

"Leave." She nodded.

"Shut up." I heard Ryan behind us.

Abby, Josh and I turned around.

"Hi." He pursed his lips.

"What happened to you." She shook her head.

"Nothing." He shook his head. "How are you?"

"How do you think I am." She scrunched her face.

"I just, I need you to talk to me Ab." His lips started quivering. "Please."

"I really just, can't right now Ryan. Just go please." She shook her head and turned back to her locker.

"Not until you talk to me." He shook his head.

"Ryan." Josh raised his eyebrows.

"Shut up." Ryan pointed at him. "Abbigail Louraine, talk to me."

"She asked you to go." We heard someone else walk up to us.

"Mind your business Carter." Ryan shook his head.

"Ryan stop." I shook my head.

"I'm making it my business." Carter nodded and stepped infront of Abby. She just looked up at him. "She asked you to go, so go."

"Sie, go." Josh looked at her.

"And who exactly is going to make me." Ryan dropped his bag.

"Ryan you don't want to do that." I pursed my lips.

"Oh what is he gonna do." Ryan rolled his eyes.

"Trust me, alot." I nodded. "Don't."

"Ryan just go." Abby shook her head. "I told Olivia I would talk to you when I'm ready, I'm not."

Ryan took a deep breath and shook his head. He looked at Carter. "You're lucky she's here." HE pointed at me. "And you're lucky I love her." He pointed at Abby.

"No." Carter shook his head. "She didn't do that for me, she did for you. And great way to show her you love her." He nodded.

"Bitch." Ryan yelled and stepped toward him.

But just before he got a hand up, Connor stepped infront of him. "Stop."

"Move." Ryan nodded.

"Contract." Connor raised his eyebrows. "Do you really want more?"

"Connor." Ryan shook his head.

"Walk." Connor pointed down the hallway. "Josh grab his shit." He looked at Sienna. "Thank you for finding me."

She nodded.

Josh grabbed Ryan's bag and followed Connor after Ryan.

Carter looked at me. "Thank you." He nodded.

"Conditions, right?" I gave him a small smiled.

He let out a small laugh. "Right." He looked at Abby. "Are you ok?"

She nodded. "Thank you Carter." She pursed her lips.

"Any time." He gave her a small smile. "And, I actually came over here to give you this." He handed me a flyer.

I gave him a look and took it. My jaw dropped slightly. "You're battle of the bands, I almost forgot it's this weekend."

"Yeah." He nodded. "I wanted to talk to you about it yesterday. You should come." He looked at Sienna and Abby. "You two too."

"You're in a bad?" Sienna raised her eyebrows.

"I am. With Kalum, Harvey, and my cousin Dawson. It's a little punk rock." He nodded.

"Well, I love punk rock." I nodded.

"Me too Carter. I'll be there." Sienna smiled.

"I don't know." Abby shook her head.

"Come on Abby. Think about it. Get out for a night, have fun, take mind away." He pursed his lips.

She sighed. "I'll think about it." She nodded and put her head down.

"Alright." He let out a small smile. "And uh." He lifted her face by her chin to look at him. "Chin up. Abby Colton is way to pretty to cry over a dude who didn't deserve her." He nodded. "I'll see you too in second period. " He looked at Sienna and I and walked away.

Sienna and I just looked at eachother with raised eyebrows and smirks.

"Did he just get really hott all of a sudden." She nodded.

"Why would he do that?" Abby shook her head.

"Because he's a good guy Ab." I shrugged.

"No, like, why would he say that." She pursed her lips.

"Because it's true." I nodded.

"Hey babe." Ian walked over and kissed Sienna's cheek.

"Hey." She smiled.

"My mom said thank you for spending the weekend with us. She really likes you."

"We not fighting anymore." I shook my head.

"I'm a dumbass." He nodded. "And I owe Mason an apology."

"Good boy." Sienna kissed his cheek.

"Hey Abby." He gave her a small smile. "I'm sorry about Ryan. He's a dumbass too."

"Thanks Ian." She pursed her lips.

He nodded. "Can I walk the girlfriend I am lucky to have to class?" He looked at Sienna.

She looked at Abby. "You gonna be ok?"

She nodded.

Sienna looked at me. "I've got her." I nodded.

"Ok." She kissed our cheeks. "Love you, see you in second."

I nodded as she walked away with Ian.

"Most bi-polar relationship ever." I shook my head.

"Did the sweetest and smartest kid in this school just stand up to the guy that cheated on me, for me." Abby sighed.

"He did." I nodded. "Lets go to class, ok?"

She nodded.

Trig felt like it lasted 4 hours, but thank god it's over.

I was walking to second when I saw Carter walking infront of me, I sped up and nudged him. "So, I guess along with being a rockstar, cage fighter who works for the CIA, you're also not a guy who wastes any time." I let out a small laugh.

He let out a small laugh too. "No, I'm not." He shook his head. "But that wasn't me trying Olivia. That was just, making sure she knows someone actually see's her."

"Well, the girl you see, just asked me if the sweetest and smartest guy in this school really stood up to her ex-boyfriend. So keep seeing her, maybe try." I smiled.

"I wouldn't even know how to try with her." He pursed his lips.

"Do something nice, make her see you." I shrugged.

"Olivia Pate, are you trying to get me to move in on your bestfriend who just got cheated on by one of your other bestfriends?" He gave me a look.

"Ok, first of all, fuck Ryan for what he did, I love him, but whatever happens is his fault. And second of all, my Abby deserves a good guy, which you are one. You're not Carter Prudeitt, remember."

He smiled and shook his head. "You are so meddlesome my sweet little confidant." He threw his arm around my shoulders. "Tell you what, I will do something nice this week, if you get her to come this weekend. I'll figure something out to step it up."

"You've got yourself a deal my ultimate fighter." I patted his chest.

"Alright." He nodded.

"You know, a girl could get really used to these big strong arms if you showed them off a little." I looked up at him.

"Whoah now, don't get to ahead of your self Miss Pate, I'm interested in someone you knw." He laughed as we walked in to English.

Mason and Sienna were already there. Mason raised his eyebrows when he saw us walk in.

"Don't jump to tell your boyfriend Hollow. Just friends." Carter shook his head as I sat down and he walked to his own seat.

"Not worrying Carter." Mason shook his head.

"Yeah, he definitely got hotter." Sienna nodded.

"Oh he stopped wearing his glasses, nothing else has changed." I rolled my eyes.

"Other than him stepping to the hot-headed cheater this morning." Sienna gave me a look. "Hott."

"This coming from the one with a boyfriend. Speaking of, he has the biggest balls alive for appologizing to me this morning after a week of death glares and mumbled comments." Mason gave her a look.

"Hey, it took a bit to get him to realize we're all just friends." She shook her head.

"Yeah, you and Connor are definitely just friends." He nodded and looked at me. "What the hell was that?" He nodded toward Carter.

"Just some womanly advice." I shrugged.

"Carter Prudeitt. Womanly advice." He nodded.

"The Prudeitt part is why he needed advice." I nodded.

"Well, you two did hang out alot last week." Sienna gave me a look.

"We had the assignment, and we're friends."

"And she's not interested in him." Mason shook his head.

"And how would you know." Sienna raised her eyebrows.

"Because she and I are also friends. We talk."

"And, we'll be getting Abby to go to that battle of the bands this weekend." I pointed at Sienna.

"Oh, are you guys going to see Nico's band?" Mason gave us a look.

"No." Sienna shook her head. "Carters."

"Carters?" He raised his eyebrows.

I nodded. "With Kalum, Harvey, and his cousin Dawson."

"Oh, so that's why you wanna go, another round with Kalum." He nodded.

"Or a shot with Harvey." I pursed my lips.

"Haha, hilarious." He rolled his eyes. "Not too keen on going to watch Cody wail on drums, but, Nico says Grant and Kevin are really good on guitar and bass."

"Uh, if we're taking Abby, you guys can not take Ryan." Sienna shook her head. "She's the one who needs to get out."

"We have to take him, he's heart broken too. Plus, we don't know what Abby is going to decide or when."

"I'm pretty sure it's decided Mase." I nodded. "He cheated on her after 2 years, for 2 week with Tate Holiday."

"Ew." Cameron shot around in his chair. "Why would someone cheat on Abby Colton, one of the prettiest girls in the Junior Class, with Tate Holiday."

"Thank you, Cameron." Sienna pointed at him as we both looked at Mason, who now had his lips pursed and looking down.

"Something tells me you can tell me why." I nodded.

"No." He pointed at me. "I can not. But uh, Ben can." He pursed his lips.

"Ew." Sienna and I shook our heads.

"Is it really bad to say I hope he caught her herpes?" Cam pursed his lips.

Sienna and I choked back a laugh.

"You can turn around." Mason nodded.

"Uhm, I was talking to them, not you. I apologized to Olivia about what happened, and to Sienna for what I said to her, you on the other hand, can go fuck yourself." Cam nodded.

"Boy you better watch your fucking mouth." Mason crossed his arms.

"The way you watch those STD tests, huh." Cam laughed.

Sienna and I both started laughing. "What is up with all these guys growing these massive sets of Cajone's lately." Sienna shook her head.

"I don't know but I love it." I nodded.

"It's not funny!" Mason shook his head.

We both just gave him a look.

He pursed his lips. "I'm gonna give you that one Saunders." He nodded. "It was good."

"Finally some credit." Cam nodded.

"But I was going more for the way you watched your trophy walk away when you kept begging." He shrugged.

Sienna and I were trying so hard to stop laughing.

Cam pursed his lips and nodded. "Alright, I had that coming."

Mason sighed. "Alright. I guess you're not as I thought." He shook his head.

Cam sighed. "Look, it's pretty obvious you and I stuck with eachother every day during classes. You think we can just squash it, be civil? I shouldn't have done what I did, or said what I said. I apologize." He nodded.

Mason pursed his lips and nodded. "I am sorry for cutting you in half dring flag. We're straight." Mason reached his hand out.

Cam nodded and shook it.

"Awe, look at you two all grown up." Sienna pouted.

"Shut up." The both looked at her and nodded.

Finally the bell rang. "I will see you after your brother sister date. Helping Oaken with his pitching tonight." He slapped the back of my head and walked out of class.

"Brother sister date?" Sienna gave me a look as she stood up.

"Weekend, lot of stuff came up." I nodded and stood up.

And I don't know if I stood up to fast, but it felt like my stomach dropped out of my body, and I winced and wobbled forward.

"Whoah." Cam caught me as Sienna grabbed my arm to balance me. "You ok?"

"Yeah." I nodded. "With everything that Ryan did, my stomach has been queezy since I found out."

"Liv you almost passed out." Sienna nodded.

"Have I mentioned the splitting head-ache from listening to Abby cry yesterday." I scrunched my face.

"Maybe you should go to the nurse Olivia." Cam nodded.

"I'm ok. I'll take some Ibuprofen and drink another gingerale."

"Liv, your stomach has been hurting since last week." Sienna raised her eyebrows.

"I'm fine." I shook my head and walked out of class.

The rest of the school day fledw by, and I am so excited to have this brace off next week for dance, even though I still wont be able to use it.

But now, I'm at dinner at Joes with Connor, and he's been very quiet while we ate.

"What's the matter?" I gave him a look.

He pursed his lips. "Nothing." He shook his head.

"Connor Brysin Pate, what is wrong?" I crossed my arms.

He sighed. "You tell me Liv."

I can not tell you how fast my heart just skipped.

"What do you mean?" I shook my head.

"Are you really ok?"

"Yeah, just a stomch ache."

"A stomach ache to the point where you almost passed out in second period?" He raised his eyebrows.

I sighed. "Sienna." I shook my head.

"No." He shook his head. "Cameron."

"What?" I gave him a look.

"He came and found us at lunch. He told Mason and I that you almost fell over your desk because you stood up. If he's concerned to the point where he would come and talk to me, there's a problem." He nodded.

"I'm fine Connor. Just, all the drama over the weekend, I have the biggest head ache, and thinking about what Ryan did to my Abby makes me sick to my stomach, ok." I nodded.

"Just, if it doesn't get better by this weekend, can you please go get looked at?" He pursed his lips.

"Ok."

"Thank you." He took a sigh of relief.

He and I went home and I went straight up to my room.

But there was a gift bag on my bed.

I grabbed the note that was attached to it.

Ginger pops for my Ollie Pop.

Feel better pretty. But, just incase, here's a little something extra to at least make you smile.

-Mason.

I let out a small smile and opened the bag.

There was a bag of ginger flavored lollipops, and a wrapped up frame.

I unwrapped it, and it was just a picture of me from our date under the stars. Me laying on the blanket surrounded by candles just looking up at the sky.

I pulled out my phone, started a phone call and opened my curtain.

M; Hello?

O; Look out your window.

He sat up and turned around.

I waved.

M: Your curtains open again.

O; It is.

I held the picture up to the window, smiled, and nodded.

O; I needed this. Thank you.

M; Anytime baby. Goodnight.

O:Goodnight.

I hung up the phone, blew him a kiss, and went to bed.
