《Taming The Bad Boy》42.

I spent the entire night alone last night, which I really needed.
But, now, I'm being woken up at 11 on Sunday morning to a knock on my door.
"What?" I yelled.
The door opened, and Mason came walking in.
I threw my pillow over my head.
"I just wanted to let out know Ryan, Ben and Josh left, and Abby asked Connor to go pick her up. You didn't answer your phone. He took your car."
"Awesome. Bye." I shook my head.
"Ol." I felt him sit on my bed. He moved my pillow off my face. "Talk to me, please."
"I just, I need a break from the guys." I nodded. "Ok?"
"I really didn't know." He shook his head. "None of us did."
"Yes Mason, I get it." I rolled my eyes.
"Baby talk to me please." He closed his eyes. "Because I am getting a sense that you and I are not ok right now."
I sat up and hugged my pillow. "Ryan was the last person I'd expect this from." I shook my head. "And if he could do this to Abby, what could you do to-"
"OK stop." He shook his head. "I have never had a girlfriend, because I know how I am and I don't believe in cheating Olivia. I am never going to do that, especially to you. None of us do, so I have no idea why Ryan did it."
"Because he got comfortable and bored." I nodded.
"Abby Colton is the least boring person I have ever met aside from you." He scrunched his face.
"Well apparently when you're together, things get boring." I shook my head and looked down.
"I have been dealing with you for 13 years, and there has never been a boring minute. Now I will sit here all day and risk Connor finding out, unless you tell me right now you are not backing out of this Olivia Annabel. I get that you are going to need a little more re-assurance right now, because Amber is doing the exact same thing, and I will 100% do that. But you are sounding awful scared again, and you have nothing to be scared of." He lifted my face by my chin to look at him. "You, are the only girl I want. And I am not going anywhere, ok." He nodded. "You have me."
I sighed and nodded. "You have me."
He leaned in and gave me a small kiss.
"This is very Fault In Our Stars meets The Kissing Booth minus the cancer." I nodded.
"I've never seen them." He shook his head. "But I will if you want me too." He gave me a small smile.
"You've also called me baby twice in 2 days." I raised my eyebrows.
"Is that not ok?" He pursed his lips.

"It's ok." I nodded. "I like it. But I don't think we're ever having sex in the shower again." I shook my head.
"Fucking Ryan." He sighedn and shook his head.
Then we heard another knock. Oaken was standing in my doorway. "Connor just pulled in with Abby." He pursed his lips.
"Thank you." I nodded.
He walked in and laid his head on my lap. "How do I re-assure her that I am not Ryan." He shook his head.
"Just, make sure she knows how much you care about her Oaken." Mason nodded. "Do everything you can to make sure she knows how much she means to you."
We heard the footsteps coming up, Oaken sat up, and Mason moved to my chair super quick.
Abby came walking in, with the worst hair I have ever seen on her, sweatpants, no make up, and I'm pretty positive she was weaing her dads sweatshirt. She walked in, laid down, laid her head on my lap, and put my hand in her hair. I started playing with her hair.
Connor walked in shortly after and sat at the end of my bed.
He and Mason looked at eachother, and Mason looked at Oaken. "Pay attention." He nodded, walked over, and sat down next to Abby. He lifted her, put her head on his chest, and wrapped his arms around her. "We love Ryan. But someone who can hurt you this badly does not deserve you Abby Lou." He shook his head.
Connor walked over to the side of my bed, squatted down infront of her, and brushed her hair out of her face. "We love you." He nodded. "Whatever happens, whatever you decide, we support you, we have your back, and we will always love you. We will do our best to make sure you're comfortable, whether that be making sure you guys arent in the same room, or we go somewhere else when you're here."
"He is the one who screwed up, royally. Right now, your feelings are the ones that matter to us, ok?" Mason squeezed her.
"He can still be around." She nodded. "I just need some time."
"And we'll make sure you get it, ok." Connor nodded and wiped her face. "But not even Ryan is worth these, ok?" He kissed her cheek.
"Abby Colton is amazing, and beautiful, smart as fuck, and exciting." Mason kissed the top of her head. "And you are not going to have any trouble finding someone who will love and appreciate you for just being you my dear, I promise you that." He nodded.
She nodded.
"You get that?" Connor looked at Oaken.
Oaken nodded.
"We are going to leave the two of you alone today, ok?" Mason looked at me.
I nodded.
The three of them kissed Abby's cheek, Mason moved her head back on to my lap, and they walked out, but Oaken stopped in the doorway. He looked back at Abby. "He doesn't know what he lost." He shook his head. "Because you are the best person I've ever met Abby Colton. You're the reason I have what I do. You deserve that too." He nodded and closed the door behind him.

I listened really careully for the footsteps to fade down the stairs.
I took a deep breath, because I knew what was coming. "They're gone." I nodded.
She barried her face in my lap and just bawled. And when I say bawled, I mean she exploded. By the time her bawling turned in to just light crying, it was 2 hours later, my comforter was soaked, and she was half passed out. And I didn't say a word the entire time. I did was a best friend does. I held her, and I wiped her tears.
But then my phone started ringing. Carter was facetiming me.
"Get it." She nodded.
"You sure?" I tilted my head.
She nodded.
I sighed and answered.
"Hi Carter." I pursed my lips.
"Hey." He smiled. "Uh, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to grab a coffee really quick, I need to talk to you."
"Uhm, now actually isn't a good time Carter." I shook my head.
And then he got a look on his face. "Is that Abby?"
She nodded and picked her head up off my chest. "Hi Carter."
His face sunk. "What's the matter?"
And then she started bawling again.
"Olivia, what's wrong?" He shook his head.
I looked down at Abby. She nodded.
"Abby broke up with Ryan. He cheated on her with Tate Holiday." I scrunched my face.
"Wow what an idiot." He sighed. "I'm really sorry Abby. Is there anything I can do." He shook his head.
"Be a good guy and never cheat." She bawled and burried her head back in to my lap.
"I can talk to you tomorrow Olivia. Let me know if I can do anything." He nodded.
"I will." I gave him a small smile.
He hung up.
She cried for another 2 hours, and I'm pretty sure she cried herself dry.
She sat up and wiped her face. "Go back to Cameron." She nodded.
"What?" I shook my head.
"Go back to Cameron if he made you happy Ol." She nodded. "There's much worse things he could have done than call you a trophy. You are a fucking prize."
"And so are you Abbigail Louraine." I wrapped my arms around her. "Remember what you told me when I was so broken up over him?"
"Baddies don't cry over boys." She shook her head.
"And to pick my crown back up." I nodded. "But I see right now, that you don't have it in you, so I'm going to do it for you." I gave her a small smile.
"Just, don't let me get roofied at a party please." She pursed her lips.
"See." I let out a small smile. "There she is." I nodded.
She sighed and wrapped her arms around me. "Thank you." She squeezed. "For wiping my bitch baby tears."
"Honey, these aren't bitch baby tears. These are completely valid and reasonable tears." I squeezed her. "And I will always be here to do it."
My mom came walking in to my room. She gave Abby a small smile. "We love you." She nodded.
"And I love you." Abby nodded.
"Your mom is here." She pursed her lips.
Abby sighed. "OK." She nodded.
She rolled out of my bed, and I walked her down the stairs.
Connor, Oaken, and my dad just looked at us. I shook my head and walked her to the door.
I told her how much I love her before I she left.
I walked back in the living room.
"Ol?" Oaken looked up at me.
I just shook my head and walked through the kitchen to the back yard.
I sat on the swing for a little while until Connor came out and sat next to me.
"You can be mad at me." He nodded.
"You didn't do anything." I shook my head.
"I know." He pursed his lips and looked at me. "But I'm not ok with you dating anymore." He shook his head.
I sighed. "Doesn't mean I'm not going to."
"I know." He nodded. "But I am going to take a page out of Jakes book, wait for him to become a boyfriend, and make my threats in private."
"Deal." I nodded.
"Are you alright." He took a deep breath.
"Just ehausted." I shook my head. "In every way possible."
"How about tomorrow after dance, you and I do something." He nodded. "Just us, whatever you want."
"Ok." I nodded. "I'm going to go to bed though."
"Goodnight." He kissed my cheek.
"Goodnight." I took a deep breath and went up to my room.
I took a shower, got dressed, turned on my tv, and turned of my light.
As soon as I laid down my phone went off.
M; You have me.
I'm going to be honest, I so desperately wanted to believe that I did have him. But with everything that happened this weekend. It was hard to believe, or understand why.
So for the first time in like, 6 years, I sat up, and turned around, what I didn't expect was to see Mason in his window. He gave me a soft smile.
I took a deep breath, and I closed my curtain.

A Will Eternal
A Will Eternal is the fourth major xianxia novel by the renowned Er Gen. It tells the tale of Bai Xiaochun, an endearing but exasperating young man who is driven primarily by his fear of death and desire to live forever, but who deeply values friendship and family. The story takes place in the same Universe as Er Gen's other novels, but is a separate story and can be read alone. That said, it does have connections to the other novels, especially I Shall Seal the Heavens. Those connections only pertain to a handful of chapters, so you can read the novel as a whole and enjoy it without first reading ISSTH. However, the best reading experience would begin with the later portions of ISSTH. This novel is much more comedic and light-hearted than Er Gen's previous works, although it has its fair share of action and drama. The Nightcore Trilogy
Going to space was supposed to be the adventure of a lifetime, but for Reece Danielson and his crew, it was only the beginning. As the fresh astronauts aboard the Zhengzhou International Space Station start their on-the-job training, Reece is shown a discovery that changes his entire worldview. It isn’t long before a tragic accident aboard the station sets off a series of events that not only puts the crew in danger but at odds with each other. The events quickly escalate into a man-made apocalyptic incident on the surface of the planet. A virulent plague is prematurely released which transforms everyone into flesh-eating undead, and that is only the beginning of the troubles. There are far worse things down there than zombies and possibly a few of them lurk on the station itself. The Nightcore Trilogy thematically begins with a heavy sci-fi feel coupled to a gritty space-based horror mystery. The story's layers are slowly peeled back, evolving into something much more supernatural, mythological, and high-fantasy-based. It's a mix of elements from survival horror, zombie apocalypses, ancient mythologies, supernatural stories, and harem anime. It contains semi-descriptive sex scenes (traditional and non-traditional), descriptions of gore, profanity, and adult situations, so I recommend it for mature and open-minded audiences only.

A D&D Gamer in Garweeze Wurld
He doesn't know how he got here, and while the trappings are familiar, he doesn't actually know where he is, either. From the perspective of those around him, Duromar is a half-ogre barbarian, an uncivilized brute by any standard you care to use. But from his perspective, he's a character created in a gaming system. From either one, he must live within the rules of that system. This is the story of a gamer who ends up in a game that's just a bit off from what he knows. ---- I wanted to write something a little bit old-school. Most of the LitRPG I've found seems to be based on computer RPG styled stories. Progression through levels is fast, and depending on the game, skills and even attributes can be trained with or without class levels. This wasn't true with the older pen and paper games, and that's the style of leveling I wanted to write.
