Well, it's once again Friday.
And we decided to use Wills idea and take Josh to the football game.
Will, he had a reason to be confident, because they did infact win. They acually blew them out of the water.
Ryan, Josh, Abby, Mason and I were all standing around waiting for Connor and Ben to finish their conversation with a few cheerleaders. Jake, Marcus and Robbie even came. They are talking to their old football coach.
"We came to the stupid football game, can we please go home now." Mason shook his head.
"I'm with him." Ryan nodded and threw his arm over Abby.
"I appreciate you guys for trying to cheer me up and get me out of the house, but I just, I want to go home." Josh nodded.
"See, now lets go." Mason nodded.
"Oh shut up and go find a cheerleader with the other two." Abby rolled her eyes.
"Plus, Will invited us to a party at his house." I pursed my lips.
"No." Josh shook his head.
"Pook, we love you. But we miss our fun happy Josh." Abby pouted.
"Well Liv can be fun and happy tonight, because someone is waving at you." He pursed his lips.
"Huh?" I gave him a look.
He pointed over to a group of guys over by the stands. And yes, there was a very attractive guy giving a small smile and a little wave.
"I have no clue who that is." I shook my head.
Mason scoffed. "And now he's walking over." He nodded.
"Hi." The guy smiled and held his hand out to Mason. "I'm Holden."
"Mason." He nodded and shook his head.
"Olivia." I waved.
"Abby." She smiled.
"Ryan." He held out his hand and shook it.
"Josh." Josh nodded. "This one has a boyfriend." He pointed at Abby. "And this one is single." He pointed at me.
THe guy let out a small laugh and nodded. "Good to know. But, I came over here because I was wondering about you." He pursed his lips.
Josh's head shot up. "What?" He shook his head.
"Yeah." He nodded. "My little brother, he plays on the football team, and he said that there would be a guy here that I might be interested in. He said that he'd be with the girl he did a duet with last weekend, which, amazing job." He pointed at me. "You two looked great."
"Wait, you're Wills older brother?" Mason gave him a look.
"I am." He nodded. "I don't know if he gave me the wrong information, but, if he didn't, I'd really like to take you out sometime." He smiled.
Mason and Ryan raised their eyebrows and just looked at Josh.
Abby and I's jaws dropped slightly and looked at eachother.
And Josh just stood there wide eyed.
"He gave me the wrong information, didn't he." Holden shook his head.
"No." I shook my head. "He didn't."
"Awesome." He smiled. "What do you say? Would you like to go out with me?"
"Why?" Josh shook his head.
"Well, one, you're-" And then he paused. "Any of you his siblings?"
Ryan raised his hand.
"Nevermind then." He nodded.
"No." Ryan shook his head. "Say it. Please say whatever you were going to say." Ryan nodded.
"Alright then." HE let out a small laugh. "Well, one, you, are hott." He nodded. "And two, Will said you were completely out, and happy, and you don't care what people think. And he said you're a really great guy. I've had my fair share of not very great guys, so, I'd love a chance to get to know a great one." He smiled.

Josh raised his eyebrows and pursed his lips. "Ok" HE nodded.
"Great." He pulled out his phone. "Why don't you put your number in, and I'll call you and set something up."
Josh just stood there.
"Uh, he, is in a slight state of shock." I shook my head. "I will do it." I took his phone and started typing.
"This honestly has never happend before." Abby pursed her lips.
"I find that really hard to believe." Holden let out a soft laugh as I handed him his phone back. "I will call you." He nodded. "Or, you could come to the party we're having tonight. I'd love to talk a little more." He smiled.
"Uh-"
He cut Josh off. "Think about it. And if not, I'll call you." He nodded and walked away bumping in to Jake.
"Hey Hold." Jake held his hand out.
"Hey Jake." Holden took it, and they dapped eachother up.
"Are you still having that party tonight?" Jake asked.
"Yup." He nodded.
"Nice. Marc, Rob and I will be there." Jake nodded.
"Awesome, see you in a little bit." Holden smiled and walked away.
Jake walked over to us. "Hey, you guys ready?"
"Did that just happen." Josh shook his head.
"It happened." Abby nodded.
"What happened?" Jake looked at Mason and Ryan.
"That kid just asked my brother out." Ryan nodded.
"That's awesome. Holden's a great guy." Jake smiled.
"I'm gonna fucking kill you." I looked at Jake and nodded.
"What, why?" He gave me a look.
"You know an openly gay guy, who looks like that, and didn't tell me!" I yelled.
"He's also the best sophomore on our football team and lifts with Robbie, Marcus and I." Jake nodded.
"And you didn't say anything!" Abby yelled.
"The thought, had crossed my mind, but I wasn't sure how you would feel about me setting you up." He pointed at Josh.
"We're going to that party." Mason nodded.
"Yes, we are." Ryan nodded.
"Guys." Josh shook his head.
"What about a party?" Ben asked.
"We're going to a party." Ryan nodded.
"Not with these tools." Connor shook his head.
"Josh just got asked out, in the open, in public, in a fucking crowd, by a guy who looks like a knock off Channin Tatum, who plays football with Jake, and called Josh hott." Mason nodded.
"Ok, so, we're going to a party." Connor nodded.
"Ok, 10 minutes ago, none of you wanted to go to a party." Abby shook her head.
"We're going to the party!" Ryan yelled.
"Ok!" Abby yelled.
"You're wearing Khaki's." I pointed at Josh.
"Oh I am so wearing Khaki's." He nodded.
We all rushed back to my house to get ready for this party, including Marcus and Robbie.
Abby, Josh and I were in my room, when Oaken walked in. "So, Amber and I are not going." He shook his head.
"Uh, aren't Momma H and T visiting the dads this weekend?" Abby pursed her lips.
"They are." He nodded.
"Oaken." I gave him a look.
"Not doing that." He shook his head. "Amber is on her way over, and I have something special planned. Remember, I told her I was topping last weekend."
"I do." I nodded.
"Ok, well, I didn't go with you guys to the game, because I was setting something up." He shrugged.

"And what would that be yound Oak Tree?" Josh pursed his lips.
"Look out your window." He pointed to my window above my desk.
Abby, Josh and I gave him a look, and walked over to my desk.
All of our jaws dropped slightly with a smile.
My back yard was completely decked out. Oaken put the air mattress outside, surrounded by candles, food, he even set up a snack stand, and he hung the white screen sheet and projector outside.
"Oaken." I pouted.
"And I got The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, The Last Song, and The Best of Me." He nodded. "She likes Nicholas Sparks. Popcorn with extra butter and the ranch powder, black licorice jelly beans because she's a psycho, oreo's, swedish fish, raisinettes, cream soda, and to top it all off, hawaiian pizza." He smiled. "And you, are clearly testing this whole Connor change of heart thing, huh." He laughed. "Your favorite tye-dye leggings, black tay-tah crop top, straight hair." He nodded.
"She looks good, huh." Abby smiled.
"You both do." He smiled. "But, I heard Josh's fine ass got asked out."
"Which is why he is wearing Khaki's." I nodded.
"Atta boy." Oaken pointed at him.
"Oak, girlfriend's here!" Jake yelled from downstairs.
"Oh I wanna see her face!" I screamed and ran downstairs. Well, Abby and I did.
We got to the living room, closely followed by Oaken and Josh.
"Whoah." Robbie looked at me.
Jake looked at him. "She say no when you shot your shot?" He crossed his arms.
"No." He shook his head.
"Did my parents?" Jake gave him a look.
"Yes." He pursed his lips.
"Then no." Jake shook his head.
"Shit." Robbie nodded.
And then Abby just crossed her arms and stared at Ryan.
"Oh what could I have possibly done now." He shook his head.
"Oaken's a better boyfriend than you." I nodded.
"Dude, are you hitting on my girlfriend again?" Ryan looked at Oaken.
He let out a small laugh. "No." He shook his head. "She just saw what I have planned for mine." He shrugged.
"What did you do." Amber smiled.
"Come find out." He smiled and grabbed her hand.
We all followed them out to the back yard.
"Whoah." Connor looked around.
"Oaken what the fuck." Jake shook his head.
Amber had her jaw dropped just looking around, and it honestly looked like she was going to cry. "Oaken." She looked at him and shook her head.
"Mom's not home, they're all leaving, and I told you I was going to top last weekend. So, welcome to Pate's outdoor theatre." He shrugged.
"Is that hawaiian pizza." She pursed her lips.
He nodded. "Your favorite food, drink, snacks."
"You got black licorice jelly beans." She pouted.
"Ew." Ben shook his head.
"Shut up." Oaken looked at him. "I did." He nodded. "And I'm going to eat them with you too."
"You don't like black licorice jelly beans." She shook her head.
"No." He grabbed her hand, and pulled her in to kiss her cheek. "But I like the girl who likes them." He smiled. "And the movie special tonight, is Nicholas Sparks."
"You are perfect." She smiled and hugged him.
Ryan sighed and looked at Abby. "I'm stuck watching chick flix and eating gross pizza tomorrow night, aren't I." He shook his head.
"Yes." She nodded.
"Ok, so, Oaken has game." Mason nodded.
"No." Oaken shook his head. "Game is for players. I, just like seeing my girlfriend smile." He looked at Amber.
"Stop fucking talking!" Ryan yelled.
"OO, you are in trouble." Connor laughed.
"Seems to me like you could all take notes." Jake nodded.
"I do just fine, thank you." Mason rolled his eyes.
"Yes, the back of your truck is very romantic." Abby nodded.
"Learned it from your boyfriend." He smiled.
Her face went flat and she shook her head.
"You all really want me to die, huh." Ryan nodded.
We all laughed.
"Go put your pajama's on. I'm gonna set up the first movie. Notebook, Walk to Remeber, Best of Me, or The Last Song." Oaken smiled.
"Best of Me. Little bit of violence, alot of love." She smiled.
"You can use my room Amber." I smiled.
She nodded and walked inside.
"Everyone but Pates, inside." Connor pointed toward the house.
They all got wide eyed and walked inside.
"What's up?" Jake gave him a look.
"Oaken, do not have sex with her tonight." He shook his head.
The three of us gave Connor the stupidest look. "What." I shook my head.
"You have sex with anything with a pulse." Oaken nodded.
"And I'm a dumbass, are you?" Connor crossed his arms.
"No." He shook his head.
"She's your girlriend Oak." Connor nodded.
"Oh I'm fully aware." Oaken gave him a look.
"Do you love her?" Connor pursed his lips.
"Uh, not quite there yet?" Oaken shook his head.
"Then you are not ready to have sex." Connor shrugged.
"Where is this coming from?" Jake gave him a look.
"You remember the conversation at the cabin?" Connor asked.
Oaken nodded.
"I told you that you are not me. That you are going to be better than me. I have sex, to feel loved because the one person I want, doesn't want me." He shook his head.
"What?" My head shot up.
"Shut up." He pursed his lips. Then he looked back to Oaken. "You have the person you want, and she wants you. And I have been giving you both a hard time, because I am so jealous that you have that." He looked down. "And I am so pissed that you are moving out." He motioned toward Jake. "Because I am so fucking jealous that you found your person at the same age Oaken did." He shook his head. "And I don't want you to date Liv, because I can not take anymore jealousy because every one of my siblings is happy, and I can't be. So please for the love of god Oaken. Do not have sex with her until you are 100% sure you love her. Because only thinking you are, and having sex, will scare the fuck out of you, you'll act different after, you'll change-"
I cut him off. "Connor." I shook my head.
"And you will turn in to someone that you are not proud of. Love her before you make it to her. Ok?" Connor looked up. And for the first time in a while, he was teary eyed.
"Oaken, Jake, go inside." I pursed my lips.
"What the fuck just happened." Oaken looked up at Jake as they walked away.
I waited for them to get inside. "What the hell is going on." I shook my head.
"Nothing. Lets get to the party." He tried walking inside.
I grabbed his arm. "You have barely said anything since Wednesday, and now you explode talking about you wanting someone and wanted to feel loved. Being jealous because Jake and Oaken have someone, and you don't. What is wrong, and tell me now before I get Abby out here."
He sighed and sat down. "You know how Sienna has been casually talking to someone for a few weeks, or a month, somewhere around then."
I nodded. "Ian."
"Not so casual anymore." He shook his head. "Sienna has a boyfriend." He pursed his lips.
I took a deep breath. "And that means?"
"It means I'm an idiot Olivia." He looked down.
"She's the one girl." I nodded.
He nodded. "And I should've made a move. She's my bestfriend Ol. She's me, witha vagina. When she was ready to date, I was supposed to be that fucking guy. But I'm not. And it is killing me. It has been killing me since you met her in the 8th grade, and I finally had my shot 2 years ago and I thought it could be something, and it scared the hell out of me. I ruined it! It wasn't supposed to be sex with her!"
"Con-"
He cut me off. "One!" He screamed. "One fucking person. She doesn't care what the hell I've done because she's done it too. The one person who gets it. And she's gone! I let her walk away and find someone, when I could've just told her I'm in to her!"
I pursed my lips and put my hand over my mouth. And I could feel my eyes watering.
"Why can't I just admit that Sienna is the one fucking person that I can actually see in my life! Hannah, and Hilary, and Kelly, they're nothing to me. But the one person who means something was in my bed 2 weekends ago, and I couldn't say anything! I had sex to cover up the one feeling that I can't even say I have! And now she's gone! She's with someone, and here I am, dying because I'm fucking stupid!" He picked the candle up off the picnic table, and literally smashed it against the fence and burried his face in his hands. "It was supposed to be me!"
Now when I said Connor had feeling for Sienna, I was just screwing with him, because well, she is exactly like him. But I never in a million years would have imagined he really did. Or that they were this big. And sitting here listening to him scream and feel like this, my heart broke for the brother who I didn't expect this from.
I closed my eyes and sighed. "Feel better?" I pursed my lips.
He nodded.
"You know you can talk to me about anything, right?" I rested my hand on his back.
He nodded.
"Do you want to go get drunk with me?"
He picked his head up, looked at me, and gave me a smirk. He nodded.
"Come on." I nodded. I pulled him off the table, but stopped before we walked in the house. "Wait this out, ok." I wiped his face. "It'll happen."
He shook his head. "Another Friday night of you wiping someones bitch baby tears."
"I will always wipe your bitch baby tears too." I nodded.
We walked inside, went out to vheicles. Abby, Josh, Ryan, the college boys and I rode in my car, with Ryan driving since we were all staying at my house. Ben and Connor rode in Mason's truck, because he was also not drinking.
"Now, gonna tell me what that was about?" Jake looked over at me.
I sighed. "Connors heart breaking." I nodded.
"What?" Abby shot around and looked at me.
"Sienna and Ian started dating, remember." I pursed my lips.
"Wait, us joking, it was real?" Josh gave me a look.
"So real, he cried." I nodded.
"Are you going to hit me?" Ryan looked at Abby.
She shook her head.
"Connor has been in to Sienna for like, 4 years." He nodded.
"So, I get asked out, Connor gets his heart broken?" Josh gave us a look.
"Little Josh, you got asked on a date?" Marcus looked over at him.
"Holden asked him out." Jake smiled.
"It's about damn time Hold finds a good guy." Robbie nodded. "Tired of him settling for less than he deserves." He shook his head.
"Would you look at that!" I yelled.
"Shut up." Josh nodded.

Heart of Cultivation
Book one is now available for purchase or download through Kindle Unlimited! Jian was a prodigy, at least until he discovered that his path of cultivation had hit a dead end almost as soon as it began. That was all years ago, though. He has long since resigned himself to his fate and prepared himself for a dull, ordinary, but happy life. Stunted cultivation or no, he's clever enough to carve out his own comfortable niche. Unfortunately, not all of the matters from his past have been settled. When a reckless mistake threatens to cost him everything, Jian will have to prove that he's desperate enough to rise to the occasion. Or that he's capable of avoiding the consequences. This is an affectionate reconstruction of the xianxia genre. I will be deploying the tropes from the genre that I enjoy in a framework that I think makes sense. The story updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes other days.

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Trying to discover his place in the world, Jerry will live great adventures. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.
