I woke up the next morning still trying to process yesterday. I broke my wrist, Mason Hollow got romantic. Like wtf.
I rolled out of bed, put on some shorts and a white v-neck, threw my hair in a bun, put on my glasses and went downstairs to see Amber just laying on the couch playing with Oakens hair, who was still asleep.
"I didn't want to wake him up." She shook her head. "But I am so damn bored." She laughed.
"Well, I'm gonna make some breakfast if you wanna come hang out with me." I nodded.
"Can I help you, like, can you teach me?" She pursed her lips.
"What, how to make breakfast?" I gave her a look.
She nodded. "Or to just cook in general." She shrugged.
I nodded, "Come on." I motioned toward the kitchen.
She slowly moved Oaken, and followed me.
We went in the kitchen and I started showing her how to make some of Oakens favorite breakfast foods.
And just was we were finishing up the french-toast, Oaken came walking in.
He looked at me, and then Amber. "What is that?" He gave her a look.
"UHm." She looked at me. "French toast, a egg white and spinach omelet with mozarella cheese, sausage, bacon, and breakfast potatoes." She nodded.
"You me breakast." He smiled.
"I tried." She shrugged.
And then he looked at me. "Keep hanging out with her." He nodded.
"I planned to?" I gave him a look.
He sat down and started eating as Connor and Mason walked in from the back yard.
"Liv you finally got the little sister you've always wanted." Connor smiled at me.
"I'd trade you for her in a heart beat." I nodded.
"Haha, hilarious." He rolled his eyes.
"Any one ever tell you you're gonna make a hell of a wife?" Mason shook his head.
"Dad." I nodded.
"You ever gonna tell me why Jake was thanking you so much last night?" Connor crossed his arms.
"HE said he needs to steal me for a few hours when he wakes up. I don't know why." I shrugged.
"Huh." HE nodded.
"Oh fuck!" I threw my head back.
"What?" Oaken shook his head.
"Abby and Ryan's anniversary is today, she wont be here, and Josh is depressed so he wont be here, and I have to tan before I go with jake." I shook my head.
"OK?" Connor gave me a look.
"I need someone to tan my back and butt." I scrunched my face.
"Of us can tan you Ol." Oaken nodded.
"I tan naked." I threw my hands in the air.
"Why the fuck are you tanning naked." Connor crossed his arms.
"Tan line." Amber shrugged. "I'll do it." She nodded.
"Really!"
"I'll do yours if you do mine." She nodded.
"Did you bring your tanner?" I pursed my lips.
"I bring my tanner and mit everywhere." She raised her eyebrows at me.
"What do you use?"
"I just used the Jeurgens meduim bronze mousse. Which one do you use?"
"The b.tan tanned AF darkest mousse."
"I've heard really good things about it. I need to make a switch because the smell of mine is so strong." She shook her head.
"This one doesn't have a scent. You can try mine and see if you like it." I nodded.
"Deal. I'll do yours, you do mine."

"Deal."
"This just got so weird." Oaken shook his head.
"Get used to it." I nodded.
I grabbed Ambers hand and we went up to tan.
"Why is she even worried about tan lines." Connor shook his head.
"She's a girl." Oaken shrugged.
"Well one, she's 16, she doesn't need to worry about tanlines. And two, she doesn't need to worry about tan lines because no one is seeing them." He rolled his eyes.
"You don't know that." He shook his head.
"And what the hell is that supposed to mean?" Connors head shot over to him.
"I don't think he meant anything by it." I shook my head.
"No, he did." Connor nodded.
"I didn't mean like, anyone was seeing them in person." Oaken pursed his lips. "But like, she's 16. Pictures are things, she had a steady boyfriend for a while, so like -"
Connor just stared at him for a minute, then jumped up from the table and stared speed walking through the living room.
"Oh shit." Oaken threw his head back.
"Why did you say that." I shook my head.
"I don't know." He scrunched his face.
And then I remembered something.
"Oh shit." I jumped up from the table.
"What!" He yelled.
"Olivia sent me a picture last weekend." I nodded.
And then we both ran after Connor up the stairs.
We got up there just as he was throwing open her door.
"I am in a towel!" Ol screamed as we all walked in to her room.
"Where's your phone?" Connor nodded.
"On my bed, jesus!" Connor walked over and grabbed her phone.
"Amber do no come out of the bathroom when you're done!" She yelled. "Why do you need my phone?" She shook her head.
"Why are you worried about tan lines Olivia?" He asked looking at her phone.
"Because I'm a girl?" She gave him a look.
"Or someone is seeing them that shouldn't be." He nodded.
"What?" She shook her head.
"You heard me."
And then she gave both Oaken and I a look.
He and I just started subtly making camera motions. Her face went from confused to concerned.
"Connor what are you doing?" She pursed her lips.
"Going through your pictures because I know you delete your messages every night." He nodded.
"Connor!" She yelled and started jumping for her phone. "Give me it!"
"Why!" He yelled.
"Because there is nothing in there!" She kept jumping.
And then his face went completely flat. "Then why am I looking at a picture of your ass and chest that was clearly taken last weekend at the fucking cabin!"
"How the fuck would you know that!" She yelled.
"That is the bed at the cabin Olivia Annabel." He shoved the phone in her face. "Who the fuck did this go to!"
"No one!"
"Bullshit!" He screamed.
"You know what! Maybe just maybe Connor, it's none of your fucking business!" She yelled.
"This is absolutely my fucking business when my 16 year old sister is sending guys pictures in her underware!"
"It doesn't matter!" She screamed.
"Now just hold on a minute." I held my hand up. "Where are Ambers clothes?"
"Why!" Connor shook his head.
"You really think she needs to hear you two do this?" I gave him a look.
"Chair." Olivia pointed.
I walked over and grabbed them. "Amber, I'm going to hand your clothes in, get dressed, come out, and go downstairs with Oaken." I slightly opened the door and handed her her clothes.

"Who!" Connor yelled.
"Wait! Until they go down." I raised my eyebrows.
And I swear, the whole time they were waiting for her to come out, they were giving eachother the worst death glares that I had ever seen.
She finally walked out, and let out a small laugh. "Pates got drama." She nodded.
"I am so sorry." Oaken shook his head.
"Have you met Ryan and Abby." She gave him a look.
"Go down. I'm gonna stay and, referee." I shook my head.
"Good luck with that." Oaken nodded.
"Who Olivia!" Connor screamed as the door closed.
"Shut the fuck up." She shook her head.
"Girl your attitude may be 6'0, but I really am." He nodded.
"An I can make you 4'0 really quick." She nodded.
"Who was the picture for?" He crossed his arms.
"Pick a friend and we can find out." She crossed her arms.
"Oh now come on, that's not right." I shook my head.
"And neither is he for thinking that I am this prude little girl who has never even kissed a guy let alone let one see her without clothes on!"
"And what is that supposed to mean!" He screamed.
"That it's my body and I can let whoever I want to see it Connor. Someone seeing my body does not mean anything other than I am confident with how I look! Because I have worked hard, all damn summer, and if you continue looking, you will find progress pictures taken every sunday since I started actually working out!"
He gave her a look and started looking through her phone again. He pursed his lips. "Oh." He nodded.
"Yeah." She raised her eyebrows and nodded. "Now you can get the fuck out of my room."
He sighed. "Ol." He shook his head.
"Go!" She yelled.
He jumped and literally ran out of her room.
I smirked and shook my head. "How did you manage to finesse that."
"You can go too." She nodded.
"What!" I gave her a look. "Why me!"
"Because you literally just stood there and let him scream at me like that!" She raised her eyebrows. "Goodbye." She shook her head.
"Ollie." My face sunk.
"Bye." She pushed me out the door and closed it behind me.
I took a deep breath and walked down to the kitchen.
Closely followed by Jake. "You know, I work 11-7, got home at 7:30. It's only 11, and I'm awake because all I can hear is screaming about something you can't control Connor." He shook his head and walked over to the coffee maker. "Good morning Amber. Happy they haven't scared you away with Pate Death match."
"Morning." She laughed.
"What the fuck happened." He rolled his eyes.
"He screams at her." I pointed at Connor. "And some how she's mad at me."
"You let him scream." He nodded. "I really needed her in a good mood today."
"One, she shouldn't be taking pictures without clothes on. 2. It is my business." Connor nodded.
"It's not your business, she's 16, not 6. And you act as if she hasn't seen at least 63 pictures of your dick in the past how-ever many years you've been a whore."
"Yeah, so have I." Oaken nodded. "Not very happy about it." He shook his head.
"Extremely happy to say that I haven't." Amber nodded.
And then the three of them looked at me. "We have been friends since we were 4, and we play 2 sports together, have had PE together since the 6th grade and share a locker room. Pretty sure I've seen his more than I've seen mine." I nodded.
"Exactly. She can't control who see's your body parts, or the fact that she has." Jake shook his head. "And who sees hers, is no ones business but hers. Get over it, because now I'm starting to get fed up with both of you. She needs to stop being a rebellious little bitch, and you need to stop giving her a reason to be one."
"Rebellious little bitch coming from someone who apparently needs me today." Olivia walked in and nodded.
"And this right here is a prime example of it." He pointed at her. "I'm serious." He shook his head. "You two aren't about to ruin what's happening for me because I don't feel like I can move out when you two are constantly throwing hands and dad's gone for 2 weeks at a time."
"What the fuck do you mean move out." Connor shook his head.
He sighed. "All of you sit down."
We all sat, including Amber, and we all just looked at her.
"What, I'm nosy." She shrugged.
Jake let out a small laugh. "It's fine Amber." He nodded. "Guys, I'm 20 years old. I'm about to turn 21, and I'm still living at home, instead of with my girlfriend that I've had since I was 14. 6 years, and I don't feel like I can move out because you can't keep your mouth shut." He pointed at Connor. "And you can't keep your hands to yourself." He pointed at Olivia.
"Kelseys parent's and mom and dad said you guys can't move in together unless you're engaged anyway." Oaken shook his head.
"I'm fully aware." He nodded.
"Then why are you trying to move out." Oliva pouted.
He sighed. "Because it's time for me to start my life. But I can't do that if I'm constantly worrying about what you guys are doing when I'm not here. I love you guys so much, but I want my own life. So I'm sorry, but I am moving out." He looked at Ol. "That's why I need you for a few hours."
"No fucking way." I let out a small smile and shook my head.
HE nodded. "6 years is a long time to look at your future every day and not make it a reality. But I can't do this if you two don't stop." He shook his head. "Do this for me."
Connor and Olivia both sighed. "I need you to start treating me like Oaken." She looked at him.
"No." He shook his head.
"Then how about you mind your own business, and if I feel you need to know something, I will talk to you." She pursed his lips.
He rolled his eyes. "Keep your clothes on, and stay the fuck away from my friends." He shook his head.
"Fine." She shook her head.
"I've got things here Jake." I nodded. "Start your life."
"Just come home every once in a while." She nodded.
"I will be here all the time." He nodded. "I just wont be living here. Go get dressed, we've gotta get going."
She nodded, went to change, and then they left.
Oaken and Amber decided they were going to walk down to the cafe and get some lunch, they left.
"Back to the you screaming at her and her being mad at me." I nodded.
"She's delusional if she thinks I'm about to mind my own business." He shook his head.
"No Connor." I shook my head. "She's not delusional. I promise you, I hate the thought of her being with anyone just as much as you do, but fuck dude. It's to the point where she really doesn't care what we say or do anymore."
"Oh, so, you're taking her side on this?" He raised his eyebrows.
"No Con. I'm taking Jakes side. He's right! He deserves to have a life! And with him gone, I have to deal with you two. He just said it. She's 16, not 6. And the Olivia we've been seeing the past month is not the same Olivia we've been fighting tooth and nail to keep away from people. She can clearly fight for herself, and she's going to make her own choices. So why don't we stay out of it, unless she tells us she needs us!"
"See! You are on her fucking side Mason!" He stood up.
"Fine! I'm on her fucking side Connor! But don't you think it'd be great to not worry about Olivia and let her learn from her own choices!" I stood up too.
"She's my little sister, fuck no!"
"And she's been like my little sister for the majority of my life! But the mistake most big brothers make is clinging and holding on to the little sister he want's to see her be that they don't realize that she's fucking grown. And the more she grows, the more she's going to resent and hate you for not letting her grow! Do you want her to hate you!" I shook my head.
"No but right now I kind of hate you!"
"Good! But I'm telling you right now, that I am done with her being mad at me because you try to father her in to doing what you want! Trust me, I care about her just as much as you do. But I am letting go of the little girl we want to see her as, and I'm going to come to terms that she is a woman, and I suggest you do the fucking same!" I yelled and walked out the back door.
Now, keep in mind that Connor and I. We don't fight. So I really don't know why I just did that.
Maybe it's because I'm the guy she's seeing, or that I just see her differently now with everything that's been happening. But dear god, they have got to do something because Oaken and I, we're not going to be able to handle Pate Death Match with just us.
I walked up stairs, plopped on my bed, and texted Olivia.
M; So why are we mad at me again?
And after about 5 minutes she messaged me back.
O; Because you of all people should know that I am not a baby. A little defense would have been great Mason. Especially since you're the one who recieved the picture.
M; I did defend you Ol.
O; Yes Mason, standing there and shaking your head is defending me. I get that he is your bestfriend. I know he is more important to you. But come on. Letting him scream at me at the top of his lungs, over a picture? I'm busy helping Jake. I will talk to you at some point. Goodbye.
M; Olivia, you know that's not true. Come on.
And I literally got nothing.
Fuck..

Void Breaker
Note: Sadly, this story is currently on hiatus :( Elizabeth Sayler had lost everything in the bombing of Reaver Stadium. Her career, her fame, her power — all of it vanished the moment she lost use of her legs. Now, she's beginning to lose hope of ever healing herself… until her world integrates into the Void. When the apocalypse comes in a flurry of System messages, everyone on earth is given a choice: give up what they value most in themselves, and acquire a path to their heart’s greatest desire. Most would hesitate, but for Liz? She has nothing to lose, and absolutely everything to gain. Armed with newfound powers in a world teeming with monsters, she’s determined to not only survive, but to somehow break the Void’s endless assault. * * * This is a small note about the portrayal of disability in this story. As much research as I do and as many people as I ask, I will in the end only be able to understand a small portion of paraplegia and similar disabilities. Therefore, if there is anything particularly disrespectful, please do not hesitate to contact me. I always intended to portray disability in a respectful way in this story, but please know that Liz as a character does not start out with a healthy view of disability. This is intentional, and a large part of her character development comes from this view changing as she learns. Disability is not something she simply "discards" at the beginning of the story, but an ongoing theme and a part of her journey.

Lucas didn't know what he wanted, but it certainly wasn’t to get dragged into the middle of a another world. Too bad for him the universe had different plans and now he has to deal with the consequences of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. At least it isn't all bad, he gets to finally make use of those cooking lessons he was dragged into. Chapters 1-4 are kind of like a prologue, they are self contained and only give some background information for the rest of the story.*********This is my first attempt trying to write any type of longer form story so I have no idea if any thing I produce will be readable, I've tried to make sure I have a decent level of grammar and there are no spelling mistakes, but if you do find any please let me know. I am also from the home of tea and crumpets (the uk) so if there are some u's and s's your not used to seeing thats probably it. Uh I dont really know what else to put in a story description so just give it a shot and let me know what you think, any pointers would be greatly appeciated.

Lawman.
Lawman follows the exploits of Relovan, a Human Police Enforcer stationed on the BlargonianPlanets – a series of small planets on which pure Essence is mined, and refined into fuel. On hisday off, he finds himself and his fellow Enforcers caught up in a fight between two Void Lords, beings of immense power, who answer only to the Council, after the pair of Void Lords touchdown on the Station, seeking to refuel their respective Void Walkers. In the ensuing clash,Relovan punches above his weight and subdues a number of Void Knights – those in the serviceof the Void Lords – before becoming directly involved in the confrontation between the VoidLords themselves. His performance during the incident catches the attention of the current PoliceChief, Nura, who essentially takes him under his wing, and assists him in various ways, including when he is summoned to answer before the Council for getting involved in the spatbetween the two Void Lords. The book ends after the conclusion of the Hearing.Relovan is a stickler for the Law – something that prompted him to learn not only the laws ofvarious territories and planetary systems, but also the native languages and customs, so as touphold the law as best he can. As a highly trained, and immensely skilled former soldier,Relovan’s abilities along with his latent talent regarding the use of Essence, allow him to hangwith beings infinitely more powerful than him.
