My parents, Jason, Oaken, Amber, Connor and I were all sitting at the Pates waiting for Holly and Olivia to get home.
Jason's phone started going off.
He answered and put it on speaker phone.
J; Hey Honey.
H; Tell Mason and Connor to head out for there dates. We're going to be a while.
J: How long is a while?
H; X-rays, diagnosis, so about 2 hours or so.
"Is she alright?" Connor asked.
H; She said when she did her back walk over in the second chorus it bent and she heard it crack.
J: So it's not her foot, ankle or femur his time. It's the wrist.
H: It's the wrist, and her wrist is a baloon. We should be home by 5 at the latest. Connor you may take my car.
"Thank you." He smiled.
"Is she still going to be able to drive Amber and I?" Oaken asked.
H; She can drive with one hand baby. So yes. And Trish, Hank, we are still going to dinner.
"Which means I should go get ready." My mom nodded.
H; Yes it does. We'll see you shortly.
She hung up the phone.
"Get going Con." Jason nodded.
"Where are you guys even going?" I shook my head.
"Just her house." He shrugged. "Her parents are out of town, and apparently, she wants to cook for me because I told off her ex-boyfriend."
"Well tell Hilary we said hello." My dad shook his head.
He and I just looked at eachother and pursed our lips.
"Not Hilary?" My dad gave him a look.
I shook my head. "Kelly."
"Oh come on." Jason rolled his eyes. "So there is Hannah, Hilary, and now Kelly?"
"I don't get it." Amber shook her head.
"Get what?" Connor gave him a look.
"You still look like a fish." She nodded.
Oaken and I just started laughing.
Connor looked at Oaken. "Can you get a new girlfriend."
"Coming from the one who cant actually get a girlfriend in the first place." Amber crossed her arms.
His face went completely flat and he just shook his head. "I'm leaving." He stood up.
"Exactly." She smiled.
He flipped her off and just walked out of the room.
"You spend alot of time with Abby don't you." My dad nodded.
"How could you tell." Oaken let out a small laugh.
"You should get going too." My dad pointed at me. "Sun goes down at 7 tonight. You need to change."
"Yeah, it's gonna take a while to set up." I nodded.
"What are you guys even doing?" Oaken gave me a look.
"Something special." I shrugged.
"She's definitely not going to expect it." My dad smiled.
"Because no one knows about it." I rolled my eyes.
"Mason Hollow, do you have a secret?" Oaken smiled. "And you're telling Ol?"
"No, just something I don't share."
"Unlike your body." Amber nodded.
I just looked at her.
"Sorry." She pursed her lips.
"Just, letting her in a little bit. Mind your business." I nodded.
"Do I need to be worried?" Jason looked at my dad.
"Surprisingly no. He's letting his nerd side out a little bit is all." HE shrugged.
"Dad!" My eyes got wide.
"Oh stop." He shook his head.
"And now I'm leaving." I nodded and walked over home.
I'm pissed. I'm like 100% pissed off that this just happened.

I broke my wrist doing a damn back walk over. Who even does that!
We got home, mom and I walked in, and Oaken, my dad, Hank, and Amber were all in the living room.
"Well?" My dad pursed his lips.
I raised my eyebrows and literally just lifted my arms.
"Oh no." Hank shook his head.
"I evidently have something called a buckle fracture of my distal radius." I nodded.
"A what?" Oaken gave me a look.
"I broke my wrist."
"Oh no." He pursed his lips.
"And she cant do anything with it for 6 weeks. Brace on for 3, and finish letting it heal for another 3." My mom nodded.
"How are you going to-"
"Oaken." She shook her head.
"One handed." I nodded. "My left hand."
"How are you going to shower?" He gave me a look.
"I can take it off to shower." I shrugged. "Which, I'm going to go do. I'll be ready by 6:30."
"OK." He and Amber smiled.
I went upstairs, got in the shower, and I decided to switch it up and put my hair in some loose french braids.
Then I called Mason.
M: You can not know what we're doing, it's a surprise.
O: Ugh fine. What exactly am I supposed to wear on this surprise?
M; Sweatpants and a t-shirt.
O: Uhm. What?
M: Something comforable Ol.
O: Where are you?
M: Setting up our date. Mind your business
O: It involves me Mason!
M: Not yet it doesn't. I sent you the location. Just meet me here at 7, ok?
I sighed.
O: Alright.
I hung up the phone, put on a pair of sweatpants, a grey v-neck, did my make-up, and walked downstairs at 6:30.
"Moms and Dads?" I asked as I walked in to the kitchen.
"Left for dinner. They said not to wait up, and that Connor is to be home by midnight if he doesn't come home before them. Is that what you're wearing?" Oaken gave me a look.
I nodded. "I was told to wear sweatpants and a t-shirt."
"What the hell kind of date is it?" Amber laughed.
"Wish I knew." I shook my head. "You two ready?"
They both nodded.
"Now, if there is a problem, who do you call first?" I crossed my arms.
"Jake." Oaken nodded.
"No." I shook my head.
"Connor?" Amber pursed her lips.
"The only Pate that rationally thinks." I nodded.
"Oh! Dad." Oaken nodded.
My face went flat and I shook my head. "Me! You call me! You're supposed to be with me!"
"Oh. Gotcha." Oaken laughed.
"Oh go get in the car." I rolled my eyes.
We went and got in the car, and I dropped them off just as the sun started going down at 6:50.
"Do not bean eachother with balls, please? Right to the movies, and I will be there at 10:30." I pointed at both of them.
"Yes mom." Oaken rolled his eyes.
"Please, please tell us about the date!" Amber nodded.
"Maybe." I shook my head and pulled away.
Luckily, the location Mason sent me was only 13 minutes away, and I drive fast.
So I pulled on to a dirt road at exactly 7:00 and parked next to Mason's truck. He was leaning against the side of it.
"Hi." He smiled as I jumped out of my car.
"Hi." I nodded.

"How's the wrist?" He walked around the front of my car.
And once again, I just help my hand up.
"Oh fuck." His jaw dropped slightly.
"I have a buckle fracture. And cant use it for 6 weeks. So, everything is either going to be left handed, or I'm not doing floor moves." I nodded.
"Awe Ol. I'm sorry." He shook his head.
"I'll be alright." I shrugged. "So I am in sweatpants and a t-shirt, we are on a back road in the middle of the woods, you sure this isn't spending time in your truck."
"Ha ha. Funny." He nodded. "No, it's not."
"Then what the hell kind of date is this?" I laughed.
"A special one that if you ever pick on me or laugh at me about, you will live to regret it." He shrugged. "But first, we need to talk down this path right here." He held his hand out.
"Am I going to die?" I gave him a look.
"No, but you might just fall in love with me." He nodded.
I took a deep breath, and grabbed his hand.
"OK, so, before we get to where we are going. I have a question." He looked down at me.
"I will answer it if you piggy back me." I shrugged.
"Ok gimp. Jump on." He rolled his eyes.
I jumped up on his back, and tried really hard not to touch my wrist when I wrapped my arms around him. "Your question Mr. Hollow."
"Do you remember the fist fight we got in to 5 years ago. You were 11 and I was 12."
"I do. You called Abby the c word." I nodded.
"She was in fact being one by the way. She froze my cleats. But, that is besides the point." He shook his head. "You and I got grounded and couldn't go to the fair with everyone. Do you remember what we did?"
"We laid on the trampoline and talked about why it pissed me off and why you said it. And then moms told us we had to tell eachother 5 things we liked about eachother." I shrugged.
"Bingo." He nodded. "Do you remember what else we did?"
"Didn't we just look at the sky the whole night?"
"You looked at the sky the whole night. I on the other hand didn't. I spent the whole time making shapes in the stars."
"You did?" I asked.
"I did." He nodded. "And the next day, I was pissed to find out that there were already designated shapes made from stars."
"Contillations?" I shook my head.
"Look at you, all smart." He laughed. "I remember that night like it was yesterday. Because, it was a night that I took an interest in something that wasn't a sport. That night, was the night I fell in love with the sky."
"Wait, you like astrology?" I pursed my lips.
"You laugh you'll regret it." He nodded. "But yes, I like astrology. Which bring me to this." He set me down, and walked behind me just before we got to the end of the path, and he put his hands over my eyes.
"Mase you're freaking me out." I shook my head.
"Do you promise you wont laugh?"
"I promise I will not laugh." I nodded.
He took a deep breath and moved his hands.
He and I were now standing in a big field, and there were blankets, pillows, and candles laying on the ground with snacks and drinks.
My jaw dropped slightly and I just looked up at Mason. "What is this." I shook my head.
"Well, there's a meteor shower tonight. And the sky is full. So, would you want to make some shapes with me this time and watch the shower?" He smiled.
I swear to god, I just started poking him.
"What are you doing?" He gave me a look.
"This can not be real?" I shook my head.
He sighed. "It's real Liv." He nodded. "I told you, I was going to find a way to show you how serious I am. So, this, is something I've never told anyone, well, other than my mom and dad. This is me letting you in a little bit." He smiled.
I couldn't help but let out the biggest smile. "I would love to make shapes with you." I nodded.
He and I laid down and just looked at the sky for a little while.
He showed me different constillatons, we made some of our own. We ate snacks, and I really couldn't believe he planned this whole thing for me.
"So, how do you tell the difference between the big dipper, and the little dipper?" I asked just looking at the sky.
"The big dippers stars are more spaced out, making it look bigger. You see." He pointed at the sky. "The little one is right there." And then he moved to the other side. "The big one is there. There's the same ammount of stars, just more spaced out." He nodded.
And then we saw something fly across the sky.
"Wow." I nodded.
"Right?" He smiled.
"That is incredible." I shook my head.
"This spot is the best place to watch them from." He nodded.
"You know, I'm pretty sure this is the most romantic thing that has ever happened to me." I smiled.
"So, I didn't completely fail this thing?" He gave me a look.
I leaned over, and I gave him the biggest kiss ever. "This is amazing Mason." I nodded.
"I really fucking tried." He nodded. "But uh, I kind of need to tell you something." He pursed his lips.
"OK."
He took a deep breath. "Our dads kind of know." He scrunched his face.
I sat straight up. "What!"
"You and Oaken left the kitchen last night, and they grilled me about last weekend, so I thought they knew. But apparently, they just thought we had sex again. And I am a dumb ass and jumped to conclusions. They made me explain what the situation was in return for covering for us tonight." He nodded. "They know everything, and your dad said he would murder me."
"OH my god Connor is going to kill me." I nodded.
"They have been sworn to secrecy. They know I'm not screwing around. And it was actually their idea for you to take Amber and Oaken, so if Connor came home, he wouldn't question why you were gone." He pursed his lips.
"Everything?" I scrunched my face.
"Everything." He nodded.
"And they said?" I gave him a look.
"Well, my dad said that theres not really anyone better than you, and your dad said the only thing he had to worry about with me was an STD. Which I get tested once a month, so don't jump at that please."
I took a deep breath. "Ok." I nodded.
"Are you mad?" He looked down.
"I really don't know how I could be mad at you surrounded by candles and stars, while eating a Cinnabon. Which, you went to Cinnabon for me." I pouted.
"Don't get used to it." He shook his head. "I might continue to be super nice, but I will never walk in to a Cinnabon again just because I really like you." He leaned over and kissed me.
He pulled away and I just looked at him.
"You ok?" He pursed his lips.
"You're not afraid to tell me how you feel about me." I nodded.
"Wha?" He shook his head.
"That's one thing I like about you, you're not afraid to tell me how you feel about me." I pursed my lips.
He smiled and nodded. "You, are the most loyal person I know." He rolled to his side and leaned on his elbow.
"I am?" I did the same.
He nodded. "Whether I like it or not, you're loyalty to literally everyone you've brought in to your life is amazing. You'd go to hell and back for Abby and Josh, you'd walk through fire for the guys and I. And, even though he didn't deserve the loyalty from you, you beat the hell out of Connor because of your loyalty to Cam. Not to mention you slapped me in my face."
"I mean, I slapped him in the face for calling you and Sienna bitches." I shrugged.
"Exactly." He pointed at me.
I smiled and nodded. "You push me. You help make me believe in myself, because you believe in me. You and Connor are two of the very few people who have never told me that I can't do something. You never let me give up. And because of that, even though you're a dick, I do know you care about me."
He pursed his lips and nodded. "You put me in my place."
"You like that?" I gave him a look.
"I love that." He shrugged. "I don't make the best decisions obviously. And, sometimes, I need to be put in my place. You've always been the person to tell me what I need to hear, even if I don't want to hear it. And it's because you care."
"You are one of the sweetest guys I know, even if you don't let anyone else see it. You always do what you can to make people feel better. Like Josh last night." I nodded. "You give this comfort that no one really expects from you. Like the whole Oaken thing at the cabin. I don't know why you try so hard to hide it, because it's an amazing side of you." I smiled.
He smiled. "You are the bravest person I know." He nodded. "You're never scared to stand up for others, or what you believe in. You always speak your mind. And you conquer everything that's thrown infront of you. Like me. You're scared shitless right now, but you're trying to overcome it, even though I tell you you have nothing to worry about. You're still doing it. You were teriffied to throw that full, but you still did it. I'm really proud of how brave you are. You do things I could never imagine doing."
"My favorite thing about you, is how dedicated you are." I nodded.
"Dedicated?" He gave me a look.
"To everything. Your family, the people you love, the sports you do. Which, congradulations on making captain for all three." I let out a small smile.
He sighed. "Liv." He shook his head.
"Why did you tell me?" I pursed my lips.
"Because I don't know if I'm going to do it or not." He pursed his lips.
"Why wouldn't you?" I shook my head.
"I got called in to the sports admin office yesterday, the coaches were there, and they asked me to be soccer co-captain with Connor. And baseball co-captain with Ben. And basketball co-captain with Kaden. And I asked for a few days to think about it. I honestly don't think I'd make a very good captain." He shook his head.
"Are you kidding me?" I gave him a look. "Mason you would make an amazing captain to all of those teams."
"How do you figure?"
"Because I have been to almost every single one of you guys' games. And you are normally the one getting everyone off the bench and in to the mindset to actually play. You've been motivating those teams for years now. And the coaches see that, that's why they asked you. If you don't do this, I will be so dissapointed in you. This would be amazing for you. And I wish you would see your potential to be a leader." I nodded.
He just reached over, grabbed my face, and kissed me.
He pulled away and nodded. "My favorite thing about you, is that you see the greatness in people when they don't themselves. I'm not stupid, I know I am not a good guy. But you, you have never thought that I'm not a good guy. You've always said that I'm just a good guy who makes bad decisions." He shook his head. "And, that's alot of the reason I feel the way I do about you. You see thing in me, that alot of people including myself dont. Like my potential. You believe in me. And you mean to me more than you know."
I pursed my lips and nodded. "Mason Hollow for a guy who has never had a girlfriend, you sure know how to make a date." I smiled.
He let out a small smile. "I'm not a good guy. But, I'm trying to be a good guy for you." He nodded.
Now, I'm going to be honest with you. After that, we made out under the stars literally until I went to go get Oaken and Amber.
I pulled up to the movie theatre. They got in.
"Amber are you staying again tonight?" I looked in the rearview mirror.
"Oh, am I allowed to?" She pursed her lips.
I nodded. "Mom and dad messaged me and said it was ok."
"Then yes." She smiled.
"OK, so the first date?" Oaken looked at me.
"I'm starting to believe Mason has a twin, and that's who I went on a date with." I nodded.
"Why?" He gave me a look.
"Because that Mason, was WAY to good to be true." I shook my head.
"What was it?" Amber smiled.
"He set up a bunch of blankets and pillows. Lit a bunch of candles. Got snacks, and drinks, and he went to Cinnabon for me! We laid there, and just talked, and looked a the stars and watched the meteor shower." I smiled.
"That was not Mason." Oaken gave me a shocked look and shook his head.
"It was the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me." I nodded.
"Oaken." Amber crossed her arms.
"I have something much better planned for next weekend!" He looked back at her. "I promise." He nodded.
"Oh I love you Olivia!" She yelled.
"Why?" I laughed.
"Because you're the reason he's the best boyfriend ever." She reached forward and wrapped her arms around him.
"That is what I like to hear." I pointed at him.
We got back to the house and I walked in to the kitchen to see Jake pouring coffee in his cup.
"Hey." He yawned. "I'm sorry I wasn't awake when you got home. How is it?"
"Broken." I held my wrist up.
"Jesus Christ." He shook his head. "How long?"

Cultivation Game: Players vs NPCs
As the only cultivator left on earth while he was already 1500 years old, there weren't many things that caught his interest. Even the recently trending virtual reality games could only entertain him for a while before he got bored again. How could he possibly feel the sensation when the supernatural powers that could be used in those games weren't as strong as his in the real world. He was only interested again when his neighbor told him of a new game called World of Cultivation. This game has 7 worlds each of which is a thousand times bigger than the earth where every place can be visited. An old man in that game world destroyed countless mountains with just a single snort. "The world I dreamed of and a power that's more than mine? I have to feel the sensation even if it's just a game," he said. While the game's description attracted him to play it, once he arrived in the game world, he was filled with disbelief as he looked at the status window. - Pangu Splits Heaven and Earth - Zues the King of All Lightning - Athens' Laws of War - Nuwa's Laws of Creation and Life - King Arthur's Holy Light Etc. - Light Erases Darkness - Infinite Sword Domain - Kun-Peng's Wings - Rain of a Thousand Spears Etc. All the merit laws and techniques in his memory, which he had inherited from the ancient gods had also entered the game world.

8 202That Scottish Play
This is a very silly and cringey parody of Shakespeare's Macbeth. The play format will be kept consistent throughout. Unless you enjoy cringing so hard you experience physical pain, I'd suggest avoiding this work. However, as the level of cringe is only slightly less than that of the office, any fans of that show may enjoy this work. (I believe, as a parody, this work is protected from copyright by fair use, additionally, Shakespeare is in the public domain so it doesn't fall under copyright in the first place. If I'm wrong please let me know)
