《Taming The Bad Boy》13.

This is the day I've been waiting for since I was 11.
The day we find out who gets the Student Choreographed piece for competitions and recital. This is the firs year I've been allowed to enter an audition, because you can't enter unless you're 16.
But, I unfortunately have other things to worry about. Because my boys, were on a mission to find Tyler DiMarco before first bell. And surprisingly, the one I'm most worried about is Josh.
I have never seen him as mad as he was yesterday. But, I am still incredibly worried about Connor. Because if I know Connor, he's out to break a bone or two.
I rolled out of bed, ran curl oil and mousse through my hair, put on a pair of skinny jeans, a tank top, a flannel, and my boots. I grabbed my bag, and went down stairs to see my mom in the kitchen with my brothers, the Hollows, and finally, my dad.
I dropped my bag, and ran directly up to my dad and wrapped my arms around him so tight.
"It was only two weeks baby." He squeezed me.
"The longest two weeks of my life. I missed you." I sighed.
"No Cameron this morning?" He looked down.
I glared over at Mason and Connor.
"What the hell did you two do?" Hank looked at both of them.
Their eyes got wide, and they jumped up from the table and out of the kitchen.
"Didn't deserve you Olivia." Jake shook his head.
I gave him a look.
He raised his eyebrows, did a little smirk, winked and then went straight faced and motioned to where Mason ran.
And I knew exactly what he was talking about. My eyes got wide.
He scrunched his face and nodded.
"Can we go to Tim Hortons?" Oaken asked.
"We can, we have to go get Abby first. Josh is riding with Ryan." I nodded.
"Can we pick Shayna up too?" He pursed his lips.
"And Shayna is?" My dad gave him a look.
"Awe Daddy, didn't he tell you?" I smiled.
"Ollie don't. You know what he's going to do." Oaken shook his head.
"Oaken's got himself a little cutie he's trying to make his girlfriend." I nodded.
"Olivia!" Oaken yelled.
"Awe kiddo. How cute." Hank laughed.
"You're 14 buddy, does that little thing even work yet?" My dad laughed.
I laughed too.
"I hate you." Oaken shook his head.
"Dude, who got you her number again?" I smirked.
"You didn't have to tell them." He rolled his eyes.
"Do we need to give you the talk Oak Tree?" My dad laughed.
"Jay, come on, his virgin ears aren't ready for that kind of talk yet." Hank laughed.
"Mom." Oaken pouted.
"Oaken the other ones got it too." She laughed.
"Trish please." He pouted again.
"Alright you two leave him alone. Connor and Mason are probably already on that talk." She laughed.
"Always wrap it up Oak!" Mason yelled.
"If she's itchy make a switchy!" Connor yelled.
"And if her name begins with an O she's probably crazy and swings hammers!" Mason yelled.
"And if her names Abby Ryan will kill you!" Connor yelled.
I just kept laughing.
"I'm walking to school." Oaken shook his head and walked out
"Awe come on Oak, don't you want more advice from the town fuckboys!" I laughed and followed him.
"Not fuck boys." Connor yelled following us out to the car.

"Yeah, yeah, options." I rolled my eyes and got in my car.
They followed us to Abby's, and Shayna's, and Tim Hortons, and we finally got to school.
Ben, Ryan and Josh were waiting for us.
"Oaken go to your locker." Connor looked down at him.
"Why?" He gave him a look.
"Take Shayna and go find Cody for me please?" Josh asked.
"Do I want to know?" Oaken looked at Abby and I.
We shook our heads.
"Ok." He nodded and took Shayna's hand. They walked away.
Connor and Mason looked at Ryan.
"Locker." Ryan nodded.
"With friends." Ben pursed his lips.
"Happy I have some too then." Connor nodded as they started walking.
Josh walked with Abby and I. "One of those friends is Cam." He looked down at us.
"Oh great." I sighed.
We walked and then saw Tyler at his locker.
All of the boys, including Josh and other than Connor, went and stood infront of the guys around Tyler, and Connor walked right up to Tyler and threw him against the locker.
Mason, was standing infront of Cameron.
"What, going after me wasn't enough, now you're going after my friends?" Cam got closer to Mason.
"Not about you Saunders." Connor looked over at him.
"Yeah, ok." Cam shook his head.
"Your friend, slipped something in to Olivia's drink Saturday at Colby's." Mason crossed his arms.
Cam looked over at Tyler. "Really?" He shook his head.
"It was harmless." Tyler rolled his eyes.
"Well I'm not." Connor cocked back and his fist connected directly with is jaw.
"Connor!" I yelled!
"Feel familiar?" Connor tilted his head. "You ever go near my sister, Abby, or Sienna again, you better make yourself real comfortable with them."
"I get it Pate." Tyler shook his head.
"Why did you bring this one?" One of his friends pointed at Josh standing infront of him.
"Jer, I wouldn't." Cam shook his head.
"And why wouldn't they bring me?" Josh crossed his arms.
"Shouldn't you be trying to find a boyfriend? Fly along little fairy, let men handle business."
"Jeremy, I'm serious." Cam pursed his lips.
And then Ryan stepped forward real fast.
"No." Josh stepped infront of him. "Ry it's fine." He shook his head.
"Yeah Chandler, let your little bitch brother handle his own."
And literally out of no where, Josh spun around and threw his whole body is to one swing, and literally knocked this kid to the ground. He squatted down and smirked. "Being gay, doesn't make me a bitch." He shook his head and stood up. "Bitch."
Abby and I stood there with wide eyes, jaws dropped and smiled.
They boys also had their jaws dropped.
Ryan smirked. "Alright little brother." He nodded.
"Now we know why you're scared of him sometimes." Connor shook his head and let go of Tyler.
"Ok Chandler, I see you." Ben nodded.
"There may be hope for you yet." Mason patted his back.
Abby and I rolled our eyes and started walking with them.
"Olivia." Cameron grabbed my hand as I walked past him.
I sighed and stopped. "What?"
"I'm sorry about Tyler." He shook his head. "If I was there that wouldn't have happened."
"You're sorry?" I gave him a look.
"Yeah." He nodded.
I nodded. "Where you sorry when you refered to me as a trophy?"
He sighed. "He told you about that?" He pursed his lips.

"So it's true." I shook my head.
"I didn't mean it like that." He shook his head.
"How else could you mean the term, 'trophy girlfriend.' When you throw in the words 'I win.'" I pursed my lips. "Thank you for objectifying me."
"Olivia." He pulled me closer. "Please just hear me out."
"Learn from your friend Saunders." Mason walked over and pulled his hand off my wrist. "Stay the hell away from her." He took my bag off my shoulder and threw his arm over my shoulders. "Lets go Liv." He pulled me to walk away.
I sighed as we walked to my locker.
"You miss him don't you." He looked at me as I opened my locker.
"Unfortunately." I looked down.
He sighed and hung my bag on my hook. He pulled me in to a hug. "Doesn't deserve you." He shook his head.
"What happened?" Connor asked as he, Abby and Josh walked over to us.
"He admitted it." I pursed my lips and looked at Abby and Josh.
They both sighed, "I'm sorry boo." Josh shook his head as he and Abby hugged me.
"Do I want to know?" Connor looked at Mason.
"I don't know, do you?" Mason shrugged.
"Am I going to get pissed?" He gave Mason a look.
"Depends on how you feel about your sister being called a trophy." Abby gave him a straight smile.
"Like an arm candy trophy, or, an 'I win' trophy?" Connor crossed his arms.
"Both." Josh pursed his lips.
"Can I hit him now?" Connor gave me a look.
"No." I shook my head.
He sighed. "I'm walking you to class."
I nodded.
Trig flew by, and I walked in to English.
I sat down next to Sienna. "How you feeling?"
"Better." I nodded. "Did you see it?"
"I saw." She nodded. "And I saw Josh lay Jeremy out."
"Wasn't expecting that." I laughed and shook my head.
"Is this seat taken?" I heard from behind me. I turned and saw Cameron.
"Yes." Mason walked in and nudged him out of the way. He sat down next to me. "Now walk away. Or did you really not get the hint."
Cameron rolled his eyes and sat in the row in front of us.
Mason grabbed my bag off the floor and pulled my gum out of my zipper pocket.
"Gum me please dear Mason." Sienna held her hand out.
He handed her a piece.
"Can't you get something fruity for once Liv?" He shook his head.
"It's not food Mase, it's to make your breath smell better. Trust me, you need the mint." I rolled my eyes and Sienna laughed.
"Shut up." He shook his head.
The rest of the school day flew by, and Abby and I were in dance class.
"Liv." Jane popped her head through the door to the studio we were in.
"What's up?" I looked over to her.
"Can you come join me in the 7-8 class please?" She smiled.
I nodded, and followed her in to the studio next door.
"Olivia!" all the little girls screamed and ran to me.
"Hi." I smiled.
They all sat down.
"As you know, little Mya here has a solo." Jane smiled.
I nodded.
"And you've been helping her with it?"
I nodded.
"She said she does better when you run through it with her. Would you mind doing that for me?" Jane asked.
"Yeah." I nodded.
The girls went and sat underneath the barre, and Mya and I ran through her dance to What's My Name from the Decendants Movie.
Jane smiled. "Mya, how would feel, about making this a duet, with Olivia."
"Can we!" Mya looked up at me.
I looked over at Jane. "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, we're looking for another older younder duet. And I think this is perfect. If you can handle it."
"Oh I can handle it." I nodded.
"Great. Ok kiddo's class dismissed." Jane clapped.
I walked back over to our studio and grabbed my bag and got Abby.
"Olivia can I see you before you leave?" Jane walked in with the two other dance instructors.
I nodded and Abby and I walked over to them.
"What'd I do?"
"You didn't do anything." Missy, one of the other instructors smiled.
"I know you can handle the duet with Mya. But I asked, because we're putting another dance in your line up." Jane nodded.
"That's fine." I nodded. "Did someone get hurt and I'm filling in?"
"No." Lucy shook her head. "You have another solo."
"I do?" I gave them a look.
"You do." Jane smiled. "Because we're giving you the student choreo piece."
"No you're not!" My jaw dropped and I shook my head.
"Oh my god!" Abby clapped.
"We are." Lucy smiled. "Olivia you've been here longer than anyone. You've been working for this since you were 11. You dance every single day of the week, you're constantly helping the other dancers, and there's a reason we gave you comp captain, and it's because your dedicated, devoted, and this isn't just a hobby for you. It's a lifestyle.
"And no offence Abby." Jane nodded at her. "But you're the most advanced Dancer we've had. So, we're going to also challenge you a little bit."
"We have our first competition in two weekends. So we're going to give you freedom to do what you please, pick your own music, and bring in a piece by next thursday, and we'll see about entering it in the competition." Misty smiled at me.
"We have nothing but faith in you." Jane smiled. "Congradulations honey."
I hugged the three of them "I will not let you down." I smiled.
"We know you wont." Jane nodded and they walked out of the studio.
I looked over at Abby. "Oh my god." She smiled.
"Do not tell anyone yet! I want to tell Connor first. Since I didn't get to with Captain." I crossed my arms.
"Lips are sealed!" she nodded.
I got home and got in the shower.
I got out, got dressed and started my homework.
"I'm coming in!" I heard a yell from outside the door.
I rolled my eyes. "Yes Connor?" I asked as he opened the door.
"How was dance?" He asked plopping on my bed.
I sighed. "It was fine. I got another duet." I looked down.
"A duet?" He gave me a look.
I pursed my lips and nodded. "Yup."
He sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry Liv."
"For what?" I shook my head.
"I know how badly you wanted this, and-" I couldn't keep the fake sad face anymore, and i let out a little smile. "why are you smiling?"
"Because I also got another solo today." I pursed my lips.
He gave me a look and small smile. "Liv?"
I took a deep breath. "I got the student choreographed piece." I nodded.
"Oh my god!" He yelled and pulled me in to a hug.
"Thank you." I wrapped my arms around him.
"For what?" He shook his head.
"Supporting me, believing in me." I nodded.
"You love it Liv. Sometimes I think you love it more than I love soccer. It's your life. And here I am, exactly where I told you I'd be, telling how proud of you I am." He smiled.
"You're a good brother sometimes." I smiled.
"I'm always a good brother." He shrugged.
I gave him a look.
"Just because you don't like how I brother you, doesn't mean I'm not a good brother." He shook his head.
"I'm sad." Oaken walked in to my room and plopped on my bed. "Get out Connor."
"What'd I do?" He threw his hands in the air.
"Go!" Oaken yelled.
"Alright!" Connor shook his head and walked out.
"What happened?" I tilted my head.
He crawled up and wrapped his arms around me, putting his head on my shoulder. "Girls suck."
"You and Shayna no longer ongoing?" I pursed my lips.
"She was only hanging out with me to try and get close to Connor." He shook his head.
I sighed. "I'm sorry buddy." I rubbed his head.
"Girls suck." He burried his head in to my shoulder.
"Want me to make her cry?" I nodded.
"No." He shook his head.
My phone went off.
M: is he ok?
I turned and looked out my window, Mason was leaning against his window cil, he raised his hands.
O: Girl problems, Shayna wanted to get close to Con.
M: Want me to give him some advice.
O: Not if the advice is to fuck her bestfriend Mason.
M: It's good advice.
O: Goodbye
"Can we call Abby? I need someone to tell me the truth." Oaken shook his head.
"I tell you the truth." I gave him a look.
"You wont because I'm your favorite." He looked down.
"Alright." I nodded and started a facetime.
"Hey pretty." She smiled as she answered the phone.
"Someone wants to talk to you." I pulled Oaken in to the camera.
"Awe, what's wrong Oak Tree?" She tilted her head.
"Am I cuter than Connor?" He looked down.
"What?" She gave me a look.
"Am I?" He frowned.
"I think you're cuter than Connor yes. Why?" She shook her head.
"Shayna was only hanging out with him, because she liked Connor." I pursed my lips.
"Want me to make her cry?" Abby raised her eyebrows.
He shook his head. "Why can't I be the brother girls want?" He looked down again.
"Because you're not a dick Oaken." I wrapped my arm around his shoulder. "But that doesn't mean you go around acting like Connor."
"Do you know how hard it is to find a girl who hasn't met Connor before me?" He gave me a look.
"You know, I do have a little cousin named Amber. She's your age Oak." Abby pursed her lips.
"Has she met Connor?" He asked.
She shook her head.
"Is she pretty?"
"Very pretty." I nodded.
"Can I have her number?" He asked.
"I'll make it easier for you and do you one better, hold on." She smiled and set her phone up so we could see her.
We heard a skype call.
"Hey Ab." we heard through her phone.
"Hey bebe, I'm going to send you a picture, I need you to rate him on a scale of 1-10 for me. OK?" She sarted typing. "Look in your messages."
"Holy cute boy! Solid 74 out of 10."
"74?" Abby laughed.
"Well can I go higher? Look at his hair!" She asked.
Oaken smiled.
"74, will suffice." Abby shook her head. "How would you feel if he wanted to meet you?"
"Can I?" She asked.
"Abby put me in the camera." Oaken smiled and took my phone.
Abby moved her phone infront of the screen.
"Hi, I'm Oaken." he smiled.
"I'm Amber. You, are cute as hell!" She smiled.
"Have you by any chance met a guy named Connor Pate?" He gave her a look.
"No, but I've met an Olivia Pate." She nodded.
"Hi Amber." I got in the camera. "He's my little brother." I smiled.
"Hi Liv." She smiled. "Can I meet you sometime? In person, not over the computer."
"Really?" He smiled.
She nodded.
"Abby give her my number." Oaken pursed his lips.
"And I'm getting off here to face time him. Bye Abby, Bye Olivia." She hung up.
"There you go Oak. A pretty girl who thinks you're hot as can be, and hasn't met Connor." Abby smiled.
And then his phone started going off.
He answered. "You really called." He smiled.
"Well duh, look at you." She smiled.
He looked at me. "Bye." He nodded. "Bye Abby!" He got up and walked out of my room.
"You're welcome!" We both yelled as he slammed my door.
"Well that happened." Abby nodded.
"Ok, what'd I do to Oaken?" Connor asked walking in to my room.
I sighed. "I'll text you later boo." I looked at my phone.
"Happy to be of service. Love you." She blew me a kiss and hung up.
I looked at Connor. "You make it impossible for him to date to." I gave him a look.
"I didn't do anything." He shook his head. "I don't care if Oaken dates. He's a guy."
"Great double standard dink." I shook my head.
"So what happened?" He sat down.
"Shayna was only hanging out with him, because she likes you." I pursed my lips.
He scrunched his face. "She's 14." He shook his head.
"He's fine now." I nodded.
"He should fuck her bestfriend. That's what I do." He nodded.
"Don't corrupt him." I shook my head.
"He'd be so lucky. We need to have a conversation." He leaned back on my lap.
"What'd I do now?" I rolled my eyes.
"Nothing, they're opening the valley next weekend, and that's when all the teens have the huge party at the lodge. We should ask mom and dad if we can use the cabin next weekend. Me, you, the guys, Abby, and Josh. Oaken too."
"Finally, something smart comes out of your mouth." I clapped.
"Shut up." He shook his head. "You in or?"
"I'm in. If you can promise to not hover." I crossed my arms.
"Good luck with that." He smirked.
