《Taming The Bad Boy》7.

I woke up the next morning feeling like I had cinder blocks on my feet.

I sat up and slowly took my socks off. My feet and toes were all cut up from my pointe shoes, and I haven't hurt this bad since before I got my feet surgery.

I took a deep breath and slowly got off my bed.

I put on a pair of leggings, a sweater, ran my straightener through my hair, did my make up and slowly put my ugg boots on.

I slowly made my way down stairs wincing with each step I took.

And as soon as I saw who was in he kitchen, I pulled the strength together and walked normally the rest of the way. Connor was in the kitchen with my mom, and Connor and Mason are both very, concerned when I'm in pain, because it's not very often.

"Morning shit brick." Connor threw a piece of bread at me.

"Mom, can you sell him on E bay?" I rolled my eyes and sat down.

"Don't be silly honey." My mom patted him on the shoulder. "I made him, I'd sell him on Etsy." She smiled.

"Or we could just not sell me?" He put his hands in the air.

"Good morning Pates!" Mason yelled walking through the back door. "Shit brick." He slapped my head as he walked by.

"Him we can sell on E bay." My mom pointed at him.

"You'd be rich Holly." He smiled.

"Yeah, in Jamaica, where a dollar is worth almost 1200. Here, we'd get a penny." I rolled my eyes.

"Why the fuck are you so mean?" He shook his head.

"Watch your mouth Mason." My mom pointed a fork at him.

"OK, I'm going to go get Abby now. You can discuss they're worth without me." I stood up and winced.

"Whoah you OK?" Connor asked.

"Yeah, I kicked the table when I pushed out." I nodded. "I'm fine." I pursed my lips and sped walk out of the kitchen.

I got to Abby's and she walked down her steps. I jumped out of the car.

"What are you doing?" She let out a little laugh.

"I need you to drive." I nodded.

"Why? You hate my driving." She gave me a look.

"My feet." I scrunched my face.

She sighed and got in my drivers seat while I got in the passengers. "How bad are they?"

"I woke up feeling like they were being crushed and they're all torn open." I shook my head.

"I told you you needed new pointes Liv." She shook her head.

"If the boys ask I'm fine." I pointed at her.

"You never hurt anymore. It's like you have no feeling in them."

"Just promise me Ab." I gave her a look.

"Alright." She nodded.

We went and picked up Josh. And I'm so happy he piggy backed me in to school.

He lightly put me down at my locker before he and Abby ran to theirs.

I took a deep breath and lifted my foot.

I started to squeeze my toes and heel and let out a sigh of relief.

"I saw that." I head someone walking up to me.

I turned and saw Mason.

"Saw what?" I gave him a look.

"You rubbing your foot. How bad is it?" He leaned against the widowcil next to my locker and crossed his arms.

"It's not. First class of the year always sucks." I shook my head.

"Liv." He gave me a look.

"I'm fine." I crossed my arms.

He got off the window. "Let me see them please."

"I'm fine." I rolled my eyes.

"I'll be the judge of that." He put his hands under my arms and lifted me to sit on the windowcil. "Take them off." He knelt down in front of me.

I crossed my arms.

"Fine." He shook his head and took my boots off.

My socks were a little bloody. He shook his head again and took them off as well. He let out a deep breath. "Jesus Ollie."

"They've been worse." I pursed my lips.

"Yeah, before the surgery that was supposed to prevent your nails from breaking your skin." He looked up at me. "You need to go see your foot doctor."

"No, I don't." I shook my head. "I just need new point shoes."

"Olivia Annabel." He started rubbing my heel.

"Don't give me the full name. I will be fine." I crossed my arms again.

He sighed and stood up. He grabbed my purse out of my locker. He knelt back down and pulled my Vaseline and foot wraps out. "For someone whose dealt with this for years, you should know better then to leave them exposed."

"I can do that." I shook my head.

"Or you can shut up and let me do it. You know I wrap them better." He rolled his eyes and started putting the ointment on my feet.

"Am I interrupting?" Someone else said walking over to us.

It was Cameron.

"No. You're not." I shook my head.

"Why are you rubbing her feet?" He looked down at Mason.

"You can clearly see the blisters and cuts." Mason gave him a look.

"That doesn't explain you doing it?" Cam returned the look.

"Because I've been doing it since she was 10 and she sucks at wrapping her feet tight enough. Any other questions oh genius?" Mason rolled his eyes as he wrapped my feet up.

"Knock it off." I smacked his head.

He put my socks and boots back on. He pointed at me. "Start wearing your dots and wraps. Before you end up needing another surgery. Alright?"

I nodded.

He looked over at Cameron, rolled his eyes and walked away.

"Yeah, because that was normal." Cameron nodded.

"Its a weird him and Connor thing. OK? I don't normally show when I'm hurting and he caught me rubbing my feet." I shook my head as he helped me down.

"Another surgery?" He asked putting his arm around me.

"Being a dancer, your toenails can get really ingrown. And in pointe, you dance on your toes. So a few years ago, I had surgery on my toes to help with it because my nails started to break skin. And wrapping and wearing my dots can prevent that and a bunionectomy, because bunions are also a dance risk. Along with blisters." I gave him a straight smile.

"You must really love this." He smiled and gave me a kiss.

"More than anything." I nodded.

He and I walked to class.

The school day flew by.

Cam was picking me up at my house to go get dinner. And I'm happy to get away from Connor and the boys with him.

My feet started feeling a bit better. So I dropped Abby off with Josh, and drove home.

I ran in to my house and up to my room to change. Jeans, a cute flowy tank top, and a pair of looser slides.

I ran down to the kitchen.

"Mom." I smiled and jumped on the counter.

"Olivia." She smiled back.

"I will not be home for dinner. Cam and I are going to Joe's and then the Tasty." I nodded.

"Happy to see these two haven't ran him off yet." She nodded and pointed to Connor and Mason.

"Where's Oak?" I gave them a funny look.

"He went to Shayna's." Mason pursed his lips.

"Hm. Go Oak." I shook my head. "Now a question my gorgeous birth giver." I crossed my arms.

"Oh boy. Gorgeous, what do you want sweetie?" She laughed.

"Can Cameron stay Saturday?" I smiled.

"No." Connor shook his head.

"Shut up." I rolled my eyes.

"No. Mom you and Trish are going to see dad and Hank this weekend. Hell no." Connor stood up.

"And Jake will be home." I crossed my arms.

"I don't care Olivia." He gave me a look.

"Yes Olivia. Cameron can stay Saturday. Connor, I am the parent. I say what goes, you do not. Mind your own business and leave your sister alone." Mom gave him a look.

"When she starts having sex that's on you. I'm not letting that happen though." He rolled his eyes and sat back down.

My mom glanced over at me. I shook my head no. She let out a soft chuckle and shook her head.

Just then my phone started ringing.

Hello?

Hi pretty. I'm here.

"If that's Cameron tell him to come in." My mom smiled.

You heard that right?

I did, I'll be right in.

He hung up the phone.

"Or not." Connor rolled his eyes.

"Shut up." I threw my head back.

Cameron came walking in to the kitchen.

"Hi Miss Holly." He smiled and hugged her.

"Hi sweetie." She hugged him back. "Before the boys say anything, I said you can stay with Olivia Saturday."

"I can?" He looked over at me.

"I was going to ask you at dinner. But yeah, I have a surprise." I smiled.

"We will also be here." Connor crossed his arms.

Cam looked over at Connor and Mason. "Do you ever go home?"

"Bitch I will beat th-"

I cut Mason off. "Mason!" I stood up, walked over to him, grabbed him by his shirt and walked out to the back yard.

"Let me go Ol!" He yelled peeling my hand off his shirt.

"Be nice to him!" I yelled.

"Why should I!" He shook his head.

"Because I'm happy!" I threw my hands in the air. "You should want me to be happy!"

"I do want you to be happy Liv! But you don't need him to be happy!" He yelled back.

"Mason if you actually think of me as your little sister than you should want me to be happy by any means necessary! Cameron makes me happy. So please for the love of god let me be happy! Be nicer to him! I already have to deal with Connor, please make this easier on me so I don't have to deal with you! Please!"

He sighed. "I'll be nicer." He pursed his lips.

"Promise me?" I gave him a look.

"Olivia." He shook his head.

"Promise!"

"Alright. I promise I'll be nicer." He rolled his eyes.

"Thank you." I nodded.

"Just tell him to keep his mouth shut." He shook his head and walked inside.

I rolled my eyes and walked back inside to my mom and Cameron smiling.

"What?" I gave them a look.

He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "You make me happy too." He smiled and gave me a kiss.

"I will break you in half." Connor stood up.

"And I will snap your leg. Try kicking a ball then. Sit down." I looked over at him.

"You two are cute." My mom smiled.

"You ready?" I smiled at Cam.

He nodded and we walked out to his car.

Now, let me shed a little light on the story from my side.

Olivia, is the ONE person that is off limits. To me, to Ben, to everyone.

Connor has made that extremely clear since Olivia started, filling out, is a better way to put it.

And for the record, we are not fuck boys, we just like exploring our options.

Over the summer, it's pretty clear that Olivia has done a lot of changing. Hence the boyfriend, standing up for the boyfriend, and being a whole hell of a lot meaner than normal. Her personality did a complete 180.

I don't want any guys to act on their interest in her. But, I have now stupidly promised to be nicer to the boyfriend who doesn't deserve her. Honestly, no one does. So now it's up to Connor and Ben to get this kid out of her life. But knowing Connor, that wont be to long.

Now, back to us sitting in the Pate's kitchen.

"Now that she's gone." I looked over at Connor. "Her feet are a wreck."

"What?" He gave me a look.

"She didn't kick the table this morning, her feet are killing her." I shook my head.

He sighed. "How bad are they?"

"I caught her rubbing her feet this morning before 1st." I pursed my lips. "I took her boots off and she was bleeding through her socks. Her feet are all blistered and torn open. I put on ointment and wrapped her feet for her."

"Now why cant you be that nice all the time Mason." Holly sat down at the table with us.

"I'm always nice to her thank you very much." I gave her a look.

"Yes, because calling her shit brick and putting her in submission holds is so nice." She shook her head.

"Besides the point mom." Connor gave her a look.

"And then oh wise ass Saunders walked over and questioned me." I rolled my eyes.

"It's none of his damn business." Connor shook his head. "She hasn't been wearing her dots and wraps has she."

"I don't think so. But she said she just needs new pointe shoes."

"So lets go get her new pointe shoes." He shrugged.

"I think that's a wonderful idea Connor. Maybe throw an I'm sorry card in their for her." Holly crossed her arms.

"I don't have anything to be sorry for." He shook his head.

"Connor this is her first boyfriend. And that's your fault. You heard her. You should want her to be happy. So let her be happy." She shook her head.

"I also heard Mason, and he was right. She doesn't need him to be happy." He rolled his eyes.

"No but she wants him, so let her have him." She raised her eyebrows.

"No." He shook his head.

"Connor." She crossed her arms.

"Mom." He crossed his. "That kid is not the guy for Olivia. And it's better that it ends now, than in 3 more month when she's actually invested and he does something to break her heart. I'm not letting that happen."

"Then you're going to be the one hurting her." She shook her head.

"I can live with that." He shrugged. "Can I just use my card to go get her pointe shoes. I'm done with this conversation."

"You can." She nodded. "But leave that boy alone."

"Mase lets go." He rolled his eyes and stood up.

We headed to the mall.
