《Taming The Bad Boy》2.

I woke up the next morning ready to get on my grind. I threw on a pair of bike shorts, a sports bra, a cut off, threw my hair up, put my glasses on, and threw on my sneakers.

I walked down in to the kitchen, and suddenly, I regret waking up.

"Good morning shit brick." Connor pulled on my pony tail as I walked over to the cupboards.

"You should really try harder on your appearance Oliver." Mason nodded.

"Do you ever spend time at your own house?" I shook my head and reached in to the cupboards for a water bottle.

"Nope. Mom's working and my dad is out with your dad" He shrugged.

I rolled my eyes and pulled my pre-work out out of the other cabinet.

"Is that mine?" Connor crossed his arms.

"Unless you drink cotton candy flavored drinks. And your name is Olivia." I showed him the container and dragged my finger across the label with my name. "No, it is not yours." I shook my head.

"You really have worked out all summer?" He walked back over to me and pulled the side of my cut off. "Flex."

"No." I pushed his hands away.

"Come on Ollie, lets see the progress. Show us the washboard and guns." Mason laughed.

"Good bye." I turned toward the door shaking my bottle.

"Nope." Mason grabbed my arms and held them above my head in, a nelson.

"Seriously let me go!"

"Flex them." Connor laughed lifting the shirt.

I sighed and flexed my stomach.

Mason put me down. "Arms Ol."

I rolled my eyes and flexed my arms.

"Must be one hell of a workout partner. Who is it?" Connor asked.

"Mind your business." I yelled running out the door.

I walked over to Jake hitting the heavy bag in the back yard.

"Joining." I yelled and put on some padded gloves.

"No Cameron?" He gave me a look throwing a swing.

"Can you not say that so loud?" I shook my head.

"Liv. He's your boyfriend. Connor will get over it." He rolled his eyes and held the bag while I hit it.

"Have you met any of those boys? Them not knowing is for Cams own good." I threw a punch. "Connors not you. You're not a body guard."

"If you think that you're dumb Olivia." I shook his head.

"You're not as protective as Connor." I gave him a look.

"I definitely am." He nodded. "There's just a difference. Connor scares the hell out of them before they get a chance to even try to be a boyfriend. I on the other hand, wait for them to be a boyfriend and put the fear of god in them when I meet them."

"You didn't scare Cameron." I shrugged.

"Oh no, I definitely did." He gave me a straight smile. "I just didn't scare him off, and I give my threats in private. That kid calls me sir for a reason."

"You're unbelievable. Oaken's officially my favorite." I shook my head.

He let out a laugh. "Since you're apparently working out with me, lets see what you've got. Weight bench." He nodded toward it.

I rolled my eyes, walked over and laid down.

"What's he got you at?" He asked picking up weight plates.

"105. Body weight." I nodded.

"Alright. How many reps he got you doing?" He put the plates on the bar.

"I'm up to 2 of 15." I gave him a straight smile.

"Impressive for your size Liv." He smiled.

"He pushes me." I nodded.

"I think he's good for you if it means anything." Jake walked around the bench and put his hands under the bar. "Keeps you motivated. Lift."

I lifted the bar as he kept his hands under it. I pushed through all 15 and took a minute break.

"Not even that. It's that we do this stuff together. And he's really nice to me." I took a deep breath. "One more."

I did my second rep and sat up.

"Then Connor shouldn't have such a problem. He can fuck around with half your school, you can have a boyfriend." He shook his head.

"It's not just Connor. It's all of them." I rolled my eyes.

"Mason and Ben are fuck boys too. Ryan's the good one." He nodded.

"I'm not a fuck boy!" Mason yelled as he and Connor walked out the back door in their work out clothes.

Jake and I just gave him a look.

"I like to explore all my options." He rolled his eyes.

I let out a fake cough. "Fuck boy."

"Get up." Connor shook his head and pushed me off the bench.

"Seriously, go back to camp." I flipped him off as Jake lifted me to my feet.

"You still need a spot?" Jake pointed at me.

"Nah, I got it." I nodded.

"Don't lift stupid." He shook his head.

"She's stupid anyway, but I'm not going to let her hurt herself, I've got it Jake." Connor shook his head.

"Getting it doesn't mean sitting on her while she's doing it Con. I'm serious."

"I'm not an idiot. I know how to safely work out. And dad would kill me if she got hurt and I could've helped." He rolled his eyes.

"I'll probably sit on her." Mason nodded.

Jake pointed at me. "He does some stupid shit you have full permission to kick the shit out of him."

"Would've done it without permission. Tell Kelsey I said hi." I smiled.

"Have fun at your party. Be safe." He shook his head and walked in the house.

I turned around and they were both just looking at me. "What?"

"I clearly just said I'd help. What else do you have?" Connor rolled his eyes.

"Squats." I pursed my lips.

"How much?" He asked as Mason sat on the weight bench.

"105. It's already on." I nodded. "2 reps of 15."

"Really?" Mason gave me a look.

"No, I'm lying. Look at the bar genius." I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever Liv. Let's go."

I did my reps, Connor actually did spot me the way he's supposed to.

"Seriously, whose the workout partner?" Connor crossed his arms.

"Mind your business." I rolled my eyes and put my headphones in.

I did my crunches, full sit ups, pull ups, push ups, weight plate twists, lunges, and mountain climbers.

I finished up, walked inside, and made my protein shake.

I sat down at the island and my phone started ringing.

Hello

Hey babe. How was your workout.

Great. Just got done, about to go shower and eat.

Or I could bring something by.

Connor and Mason are here.

I don't care Liv.

I promised Oaken I'd we'd go get lunch.

You spend time with Jake and Oaken so much, but not Connor?

I can't stand being around Connor for more than 20 minutes three fourths of the time babe. But he just spotted me because Jake had to go to Kelsey's. He and Mason laughed almost the whole time, but he didn't kill me, so.

Well I guess that's a good thing.

I'm excited to see you later.

And I'm excited to see you. Go take your shower, send me selfies once youre out.

I mean. I'm not doing my make up til later.

Again, I don't care Liv. I've seen you when you wake up in the morning with your hair in a wreck on your head and goop in your eyes. Still beautiful.

Whatever you say.

I hung up the phone.

"Who was that?" Connor asked as he and Mason walked through the back door.

"I'm using this." Mason said walking over and grabbing my protein powder.

"One, for the thousandth time, mind your fucking business. Two, or you can walk across the yard to your own house, and get yours." I rolled my eyes.

"Nah, I'll use yours." Mason nodded.

"Please, go lay in the middle of a busy highway." I motioned to the door.

"Who was on the phone?" Connor crossed his arms.

"Abby." I shook my head. "I'm going to shower, Oaken and I are going to get lunch, and then Abby and Josh are coming over to get ready for the party."

"I see one ounce of ass cheek you're not going." Connor gave me a look.

"Watch me. If I don't go, you don't have a ride, which means you have to drive, and can't drink. Either way, I'm going regardless."

"How about if I see any ass cheek I'm beating the hell out of every single person who looks." Connor crossed his arms.

"Until you step to the wrong person and get the shit kicked out of you." I crossed my arms.

"And then he has me. The only way you'll be presentable enough for this party is if you have a bag over your head anyway." Mason smiled.

"Go the fuck home." I threw my head back.

"Nah." He shook his head.

I rolled my eyes and walked up to my bathroom. I showered. Threw on a pair of soft shorts and a sweater, threw my glasses. Sent Cam his selfie, and walked down to the living room.

"Oak you ready?" I asked grabbing my key from the table.

"Where are we going?" Mason smiled.

"Hopefully you're going home. Oaken and I are going to Panera." I rolled my eyes.

"Can I drive?" Oaken asked standing up.

"In two years." I nodded.

"Why can't we go?" Connor asked.

"Because I don't feel like being put in a head lock, hit, or called shit brick while I try to eat." I yelled as Oaken and I walked down the hallway.

We were in the middle of lunch.

"So chances of me getting laid at this party?" Oaken asked taking a drink of his smoothie.

"Oaken, you're 14." I shook my head.

"And so were you." He crossed his arms.

"I was 15."I rolled my eyes.

"And Connor and Mason had slept with almost 20 girls by the time they were 15." He put his elbows on the table. "And Cameron makes 4 for you."

"Those two are the last people you need to look up to. You need to treat girls the same way you want me treated Oak. If you don't see your self dating them, don't have sex with them. Better yet, don't have sex with them unless you're dating."

"I could see myself dating Abby." He nodded.

"And Ryan would kill you. She said you were cute once like, 4 years ago. Get over it bud." I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Can I have your tea?" He pouted.

"You could've gotten one, you chose not to." I shook my head.

"Please Ol. I'm so thirsty."

I gave him my debit card. "Go get your own, and me another." I rolled my eyes.

"You're my favorite." He smiled and walked to the counter.

I pulled out my phone to read my messages.

are you picking me up?

I can. Oaken and I are at lunch. Leaving in a few.

aight babe.

Oh, if Connor asks, I was on the phone with you earlier.

Who were you on the phone with?

Really?

I was kidding Liv lol. I got you.

Leaving now. Be there in 10.

Oaken walked back over with both of our teas.

"We have to go get Abby." I stood up from the table.

"Can I use your back seat?" He laughed.

"Are you ever going to let it go?" I shook my head.

"Nope." He pursed his lips.

I rolled my eyes.

We went and picked Abby up, and got back to my house.

"Sup bitch." Ben laughed as the three of us walked in to the living room.

"Have I ever told you that Ryan is my favorite." I rolled my eyes.

"You love us Oliver. Don't deny it." Mason smiled.

"If you call me Oliver one more time, I'm literally going to slash your truck tires." I nodded.

"Just means I'll be riding to school with you." He shrugged.

"Or dragged behind the car." I smiled.

"Liv, we have primping to do. Can't waste time with these fools." Abby grabbed my hand.

"I swear to god Liv." Connor shook his head.

"You'll get over it." I rolled my eyes and we walked up the stairs.

I was sitting at my vanity straightening my hair when Josh walked in.

"My pretties." He plopped down on my bed.

"Hi Pook." I smiled.

He walked over and grabbed my straightener. "Straighten inward toward the front of your head, frames your face." He smiled.

"What would we do without you." Abby smiled and shook her head.

"Look like crap and have a boring life." He laughed.

"Does this mean my mans here?" She gave him a look.

"He is." He nodded. "Raiding the cupboards. Pretty sure he's looking for Reese cups."

"That's going to go over well with Jake." I shook my head. "They're his."

"Guess he'll learn." He shrugged. "Abby lets see the fit."

She grabbed her bag, walked in to the bathroom, and came back out wearing a pair of dark skinny jeans, a navy blue crop tee, and my black boots.

"Are those mine?" I asked pointing at her feet.

"They are indeed." She smiled.

"I've been looking for those for a month." I tilted my head.

"Found them." She shrugged.

I turned back around and started my make up. "Your fit Joshua."

He then grabbed his bag, walked in to the bathroom, and walked out in a pair of Khaki shorts, a white t-shirt, a gray button up buttoned half way, and his gray Jordan's.

"Roll the sleeves." I smiled as I put my mascara on.

Abby helped him roll his sleeves.

"Perfect baby." She smiled at him.

"Alright Liv, your fit?" He smiled.

I got up and Abby sat down. I walked in to my closet, threw on a pair of jean shorts with tears, a black belt with a silver buckle, a black crop tank top, a red black and white baggy flannel, black converse, and a black and red snap back obviously on backwards. I walked back out.

"Ow ow!" Josh pumped his fist in the air.

"You really are me with black hair." Abby smiled.

"Connors never gonna let you leave the house like that." Oaken laughed as he walked in and plopped on my bed.

"Guess it's a good thing I didn't ask for permission. What do you want Oak?" I rolled my eyes.

"I actually need Josh." He pursed his lips.

"For what?" Josh gave him a look.

"Well I'd like to actually wear something other than basketball shorts and a t-shirt, and none of the idiots down stairs know how to dress, so that's where you come in." He nodded.

"You asked the right person young grasshopper. Come and I will teach you how to dress yourself." Josh grabbed his arm and drug him to his room.

"Why am I scared now?" We heard him say as they walked down the hall.

Abby just looked at me. "Oaken is trying to dress nice?"

I nodded. "Asked me to possibilities of him getting laid tonight." I gave her a straight smile.

"Oh god. He's being corrupted by the other Pate." She shook her head.

"I don't fucking think so." I shook my head. "I'd kill him first."

"Hopefully he comes to us when it comes to girls. Because god knows what they'll say to him." She pursed her lips.

"God I hope so." I nodded.

"Well ladies." Josh strut back in to my room. "Not to quote Hannah Montana or anything, but I give to you, Smokin Oaken." He motioned toward the door as Oaken walked in.

He was in a par of boot cut jeans that had a few shreds in them, a white t-shirt with a sort of light teal button up half buttoned, sleeves rolled, his messy skate rat hair was actually gelled, and was wearing a pair of steal toes.

Abby and I both clapped.

"Incredible." Abby nodded.

"Miracle worker." I laughed.

"Shut up, it's not like I'm ugly." Oaken flipped me off and sat on my bed.

"You're a little cutie Oaken. You know it." Abby laughed.

"Hey baby doll, ever seen the back seat of a car?" He winked at her.

"Stop talking to Ben." Josh shook his head.

"On that note, it's 6:30. Are we ready lady and gents?" I asked standing up.

The all nodded and we walked downstairs.

We walked in to the living room.

"Very hot." Ryan nodded as Abby walked up to him.

"3." Oaken nodded.

"2." Josh laughed.

Connor then walked in to the living room with Mason. He just stared at me.

"Absolutely the fuck not!" He yelled.

Ben started laughing as he walked down from the bathroom. "You really thought huh."

"Shorts make your ass look fat." Mason rolled his eyes.

"Good." Abby nodded.

"No, that's not good Abby." He shook his head. "I'm actually with Connor on this." He crossed his arms.

"And when did you become my brother?" I crossed my arms.

"When you came downstairs looking like that Olivia." He raised his eyebrows.

"Did he just call her Olivia?" Ryan looked at Abby and Ben.

They both got wide eyed and nodded.

I raised my eye brows. "What are you trying to say?"

"That you look like one of the girls who we get with." His mouth went flat.

"So you're telling me I look like a whore?" I nodded.

"No, that's not what he's saying." Connor shook his head.

"What he's trying to say Liv." Ben stood up. "Is that there's no reason for you to walk out of this house with all that ass, double cheeked up regardless of it being a Saturday, showing your stomach with your boobs up to your neck looking like a stripper whose not on meth. Because it'll attract the wrong attention."

"You're not wearing that." Connor crossed his arms.

"Guess it's a good thing I didn't ask your opinion, huh." I walked past him. "So I suggest if you're coming, get in the car."

"Olivia Annabelle!" He yelled.

"I'm leaving." I rolled my eyes. I stopped in front of Mason. "Don't ever compare me to one of your girls again." I ran in to his arm as I walked by.

We all walked out to my car.

"I'm sitting upfront." Mason yelled walking out of the house.

"No you're not." I said opening my door.

"Your back seats aren't made for 6'5 guys. I physically can't sit in the back.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes.

Apparently everyone could tell I was pissed because no one was talking.

Until after about 15 minutes when Mason finally said something.

"I'm sorry." He looked over at me.

"No you're not." I shook my head.

"I didn't mean it that way." He pursed his lips.

"Yeah." I nodded. "Yeah you did."

"No he didn't Liv." Connor shook his head. "We just don't want people looking at you like that."

"Abby has worn this outfit countless times." I looked in my rear view mirror.

"Abby also has a boyfriend and everyone knows it." Ryan looked over at Oaken.

"And the reason I haven't had a boyfriend is?" I gave them all a look.

"Because you don't need one Ollie." Mason shook his head.

"Doesn't mean I didn't want one." I rolled my eyes.

Oaken, Abby and Josh all had their lips pursed.

"You don't want one, and you're not getting one." Connor crossed his arms.

"I'm your little sister, I'm not little though."

"No, you're still little." He nodded.

And this right here is why I don't want them to know about Cameron. I'm so over being treated like I'm a baby. Which I'm clearly not.
