Lightbulb's POV:
I watched in horror as Painty's lifeless body collapsed to the floor, Cobs standing behind them.
Painty's neck was turned at an unnatural angle. Their eyes were rolled back into their head and I noticed that a bit of blood had began to drip out from their mouth.
This can't be happening...
My eyes began to sting, feeling the tears begin to well up and slowly roll down my face.
I collapsed to my knees, pressing my hands against the glass. I wanted to run over to them, hold them, so that they didnt have to die alone on the cold metal floor of that room. Of course, the box prevented me from doing so.
This has to just be a bad dream... please... just let it be a bad dream!
I felt myself begin to cry harder as Cobs called in a MePhone to take care of the body.
"Don't bother recovering them. They will just get in the way of things." Cobs spoke. The MePhone nodded.
I watched as they took Painty out of the room.
Please! Don't take them away!
I laid my head down on the floor, warm tears still rolling down my face.
I was shaking so much that my muscles began to hurt. I didnt have the motivation to even move. I just laid there, sobbing.
"Lightbulb..." I heard a high-pitch voice mumble.
I didn't move, I didn't respond, I just laid there with my face buried in my hands and crying my eyes out.
I knew the voice was Balloon. Eventually after a moment of silence, I turned my head to look at him.
He was sitting there on his knees, his one hand pressed up against the glass. He looked worried and sorry for me.
I saw that he was also crying a bit. I sat up and scooted over to him, resting my head against the glass wall of the box and curling into a ball.
Painty wasn't there to comfort me anymore.
They were gone. Lost somewhere. I dont know where we go after death, but I hope it's a good place. A place with no more pain or sadness. A place where I could see Painty again.
I hoped they were happy wherever they were.

Test Tube's POV:
I've been trying to get ahold of Paintbrush for a while now.
I've sent several texts asking if they've found anything out, but its been hours and they still haven't responded.
They're probably just busy right now.
I sat there staring at my phone for a bit longer before sighing and setting it down.
I have to stay home to avoid getting taken by Cobs, but its kinda boring because theres nothing to do at home.
Might as well go and watch some TV.
I sat up out of my bed and made my way to the living room. I then sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. The news was on.
Several people have gone missing at the public high school. If anyone has any information on the case, please inform us immediately.
Oh now they notice? How come they didn't notice earlier?
I sighed and leaned forward. I was contemplating wether I should tell the police I knew or not. I decided I would.
I can't drive yet so I had to walk to the police station. It was pretty far away, but it didn't matter to me.
As I walked, I noticed kids walking to their houses with their backpacks on.
I guess school is out
I continued walking and after what seened like hours, I finally made it to the police station.
I walked up to the front desk and waited for assistance.
After a bit, a woman walked up from behind the desk.
"Hello, can I help you?" The woman said.
"Um, yeah... I think I have some information on the missing people's case at the high school." I said. The woman nodded and went to the back to inform someone.
I waited for a bit, shuffling my feet where I was standing.
Eventually, someone came out and took me into a room to talk.
I sat down at the table and the person asked me to explain what I knew.
"Well... the principal of the school had this camera... and I dont know how, but it somehow teleported my friends to this weird lab looking thing! I was able to send a camera there so I could see through my laptop and communicate with the missing people, but I let my friend borrow my laptop and I cant contact them for some reason." I explained.

The person just stared at me. "Young lady... I dont have time for your shenanigans. You realize this is a serious situation, not to be joked about right?" He spoke crossing his arms
He doesn't believe me...
"No I'm being honest! I know it sounds crazy but it's true!" I exclaimed frowning.
"Sorry but if you dont have any evidence I cant help you." He mumbled. He then lead me out of the room.
I should've known they wouldn't believe me...
I was told to go home and they said they would talk to the principal, but I could still tell they thought it was a joke.
I walked out of the police station dissapointed. I decided to just go home.
I pulled out my phone and tried texting Paintbrush one last time. I was beginning to become concerned.
Wouldn't they have responded by now?
I began to type. "Paintbrush, if you get this text, please let me know if you are ok." I sent the message.
I waited anxiously for a response and sighed after a couple minutes of waiting.
I made it home and sat down on my bed. The blinds were closed and the light was off, giving the room a gloomy atmosphere. Everything was silent, but for some reason, the silence stressed me out.
I laid my head down on my pillow. It wasn't night yet, but I thought that is might be a good idea to get some rest for a while. I shut my eyes and focused on my breathing, trying to relax.
After a while, I dozed off.
Suddenly I was startled awake by the sound of glass breaking.
WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?!
I jolted up and cautiously peeked out of my room. I saw that one of the windows had been broken open. Glass was scattered across the floor. I saw that there were two MePhones. They were searching for something.
Searching for me.
I ducked back into my room qnd quietly shut and locked the door.
Where do I go???
I looked around for a weapon of some sort, but couldn't find anything. Maybe the window would be the safest bet.
I rushed over to my window and lifted up the blinds. I unlocked the window and opened it, then pushed the screen out.
I then began to climb out of the window, but I slipped and yelped, then fell into a bush.
Luckily my room was on the first floor so the fall wasn't that hard. It left me a little dazed and some of my green liquid spilled out, but other than that I was fine.
I scrambled to my feet and struggled to climb out of the bush, then took off running.
Luckily the MePhones hadn't noticed that I left. I breathed a sigh of relief once I had ran at least two blocks or so away from my house.
Golly gosh is Cobs really that determined to people???
After breathing for a while, I decided to go to Paintbrush's house to check up on them. I was only a block away.
I began making my wqy to Paintbrush's house and when I got there I knocked on the door. Their doorbell was broken so I couldn't use that.
I waited for a while.
No response.
I sighed and walked away from Paintbrush's house.
Something's not right...
I glanced back at Paintbrush's house to see if they were just late to answer the door.
Nope.
I continued walking.
This has something to do with Cobs doesn't it.
I began to wonder if they had been kidnapped or anything.
I know they said not to go back to the school, but i need to figure this out. If I get taken, I get taken. But I need to find Paintbrush.

Paintbrush's POV:
I heard a loud snap, and everything went black.
It was quiet.
I looked around and saw a faint white light.
Am I dead?
I stared at the light and took a few steps away.
I'm not ready to die yet... I have to help Lightbulb...
I looked for any way I could get back to her, but there was nothing.
I sighed.
I then began to slowly walk towards the light and I closed my eyes.
Maybe this wont be too bad...
Goodbye Lightbulb...
