Mai and (y/n) walked through a path in the forest inside the school grounds.
Mai: "So? What did you want to speak about?"
(y/n): "How have you been?"
Mai: "Hm? Why you ask?"
(y/n): "Has something been bothering you lately? For a while?"
Mai: "What are you trying to say?"
(y/n): "Mai, are you happy?"
Mai: "...You've heard, didn't you?"
(y/n): "I was near... But, tell me, Mai. What is going through your mind."
Mai: "Tch... What are you trying to do? Look down upon me? Say 'I know how you feel', don't come at me with all that bullshit... I hate this, I hate it all, I hate being a sorcerer, I hate having to feel like this, I hate being scared, I hate Maki."
(y/n) stayed silent while looking at Mai.
Mai: "What?! I don't want to be a sorcerer! I never wanted to, It's all her fault... Tell me, Was something bad about being ordered to do some things to live a normal life?! I never wanted this... If I could, I would leave all of this behind... but I can't!"
Due to Maki leaving the Zen'in clan, the heavy backlash would hit Mai if she didn't become a sorcerer.
(y/n): "Mai... I can't say I know how you feel but- "
Mai: "Shut up! Of course, you don't! You don't know what is it like to have a clan! You're just a nobody with your stupid eyes!... Was this what you wanted?! To see me like this?! I hate you!"
(y/n): "I had a clan once... You know?"
Mai: "Oh really? Where are they then?"
She said in a sarcastic tone.
(y/n): "They're... all dead. They have been for years now. I'm the last of them, you can say I'm a unique individual in the Jujutsu world."
Mai: "Of course, they are, just say you don't have one."
(y/n): "It's true! Haven't you heard of the Nakatomi clan? I would've guessed you already knew for being a Zen'in."
Mai began to remember a small conversation she overheard when she was younger, something along the lines of the last Nakatomi, and some eyes.
Mai: "Continue."
(y/n): "Well... Let's forget about my clan. Let's talk about you. You're wounded, right?"
Mai: "Wounded? What do you mean?"
(y/n): "I can see it, there's a reason why you can't create much with your technique right?"
Mai: "Are you calling me weak?! You're the same as him!"
(y/n): "You're talking about Naoya, right?"
Mai: "H-how do you?"
(y/n): "I figured it would be him... Would you like for me to take care of him?"
Mai: "Oh really? You killing Naoya?"
(y/n): "Of course."
Mai: "You don't have to."
(y/n): "Well, besides that... You said you didn't want to be a sorcerer, right?"
Mai: "Were you even listening? I did."
(y/n) took off his bandages and looked at Mai in the eyes.
(y/n): "Would you like to run away with me?"
Mai: "r-run away? Have you've gone insane or something?"
(y/n): "You said you didn't want this so."
Mai: "What about you then?"
(y/n): "I was forced to become a sorcerer since I was first brought to this world... But sorcerer is not a word I would use to define what I was meant to do."

Mai: "What was that?"
(y/n): "Nothing... But still, think about it...If something's bothering you, you can always talk to me."
Mai: "Tch, just go away, you blind idiot."
He patted her head and began to walk away. Mai just stood there, no one had patted her head or even hugged her since Maki left the Zen'in clan, and she felt a weight off her shoulders when talking/shouting about her problems with (y/n).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(y/n) was walking towards the room where the rest of the students were, still with his bandages off. But he suddenly heard some footsteps coming closer.
Turning a corner, he saw Maki standing a few centimeters in front of him, and with a swift movement, was able to take her glasses off.
Maki: "Would I happen to know why did you do that?"
(y/n): "O-oh, y-you scared me, t-that's all."
While having (y/n) so close and without his bandages, Maki couldn't help but stare at his eyes, trying to figure out why were they covered by the bandages.
Maki: "Your eyes seem pretty normal, is there a reason for the bandages?"
(y/n): "It's Uhm... Complicated."
Maki: "suuure... Anyways, Gojo-sensei is looking for you and Mai, he needs you for a decision."
(y/n): "W-we'll be right there."
Maki: "Right, now care to give them back?"
(y/n): "Yeah."
He handed back Maki's eyeglasses as he shut his eyes.
Maki: "Hurry up."
She turned around and walked back to the room, (y/n) following right after putting his bandages back on. Mai arrived a few minutes later.
Satoru: "Alright, now that everyone's here. We can start. So, a lot happened and some people died, but how about it? Want to continue the exchange event?
Itadori: "I don't know what to say about it..."
Todo: "obviously... We're continuing it, of course."
Itadori: T-todo!
(y/n): "I agree. I'll beat everyone up!"
Nobara: "Oi! Shut up!"
(y/n): "I'll beat you up!"
Nobara: "I would like to see you try!"
Inumaki: "Bonito flakes."
Noritoshi: "You're also starting to sound like Todo... "
(y/n): "I beat them up once, I'll do it again!"
Nobara: "Why you?!"
They both walked at each other and clashed their foreheads. (y/n) having to bend over to get on Nobara's height.
Satoru: "Hey, hey. Not here."
Maki and Mai walked up to their respective classmates and grabbed them by the shoulders, pulling them back.
Mai: "You know, you should start controlling your dog, keep it on a leash."
She said in a teasing tone.
Nobara: "What did you say?!"
Maki: "May I remember you that it was your classmate that started it?"
They eventually calmed down and returned to their positions, Nobara giving (y/n) and Mai a death glare from time to time.
Satoru: "So, now that that's over, Todo, tell your reasons."
Todo: "First, only those with a connection to the dead have a right to mourn them. It's not our place to butt in there. And second, if people have died, that's all the more reason we need to become stronger. Acquired strength comes from the accumulation of results. Tasting defeat and savoring victory is what leads us to grow. The most important part is for those results to exist."
Miwa: "Todo-senpai's surprisingly reliable."

Mai: "Reliably crazy."
Todo: "Third, when a student feels like they weren't able to bring out their best, it hangs over them until they die."
Satoru: "How old are you?"
Miwa: "That would explain why you wanted to fight the Tokyo students, right?"
(y/n): "O-of course not!"
Megumi: "I'm fine with that
Nobara: "We'll win anyway."
Noritoshi: "It sounds stupid, but he has a point."
Momo: "Why don't you rest, Kamo-Kun?"
Panda: "No objections here."
Inumaki: "Salmon."
Maki: "Will we draw lots for the individual pair-ups?"
Satoru: "Huh? There are no individual battles this year."
He said, confusing the students.
Panda: "The exchange event has the principals of the Toyko and Kyoto schools each propose a form of competition to be held for an entire day over the course of two days. But that's just how it is on paper. Every year, the first day is team battles, and the second is individual battles."
Satoru: "I hate routines, you know. Every year, we put the competition methods in this box and open it the day of."
He threw a small wooden box with a circular hole on top to Yuji, and he pulled a paper out of it, with the word 'baseball' written on it.
Suddenly, Principal Yoshinobu and Yaga appeared next to Yuji, each on each side of him.
Principal Yaga: "Baseball?!"
Itadori: "You're here, too?!"
Principal Yoshinobu: "What's going on here, Yaga?"
Principal Yaga: "No, I know I put individual battles in- Get back here, Satoru!"
But Satoru had already left.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After a day for the students to rest, they were now on a baseball field and with their respective uniforms. Miwa was the hitter, Itadori the catcher, and Maki the pitcher.
Maki threw the ball and Miwa successfully hit it, sending it through the air.
Utahime: "Fly ball!"
Momo began to run.
Utahime: "Nishimiya, don't run yet!"
Inumaki caught the ball and sent it to Panda.
Satoru: "Out!"
Momo: "Huh? Why?"
Utahime: "If you don't know the rules, then say so!"
Momo: "I know them! When the ball's hit, I run!"
Momo: "A sacrifice fly?! What's that, some new form of torture?!"
Utahime: "You're just plain stupid!"
Noritoshi went up to be the batter.
Itadori: "Don't you need a helmet?"
Noritoshi: "Itadori, why are you a Jujutsu sorcerer?"
Itadori: "At first it just kinda happened. But I'm a lonely guy. I want to save a lot of people, and have lots of them watching over me when I die.
Young Noritoshi: "If you're not here, mother, I won't become a jujutsu sorcerer!"
Noritoshi's Mother: "You have talent, Noritoshi. You can save lots of people. The more people you save, the more you'll be recognized. Then, in turn, all kinds of people will help you. You'll only be alone for now. One day, once you've become a great sorcerer, come get me."
Noritoshi: "I see. That's a good reason."
Thanks to the dialogue, Noritoshi didn't hit the ball, passing right beside him into Itadori's glove.
Satoru: "Strike! Batter out! Change up!"
Utahime: "Kamo! You won't get a hit if you don't swing!"
(y/n): "Lame!"
The schools changed positions. Nobara is now the batter.
Nobara: "They call me the Mah-Kun of Tohoku."
Megumi: "No, Mah-kun is the Mah-kun of Tohoku."
Itadori: "Mah-kun's a pitcher, you know!"
Inumaki: "Bonito flakes."
Mai then suddenly brought a 'Mechamaru' to the pitcher position.
Nobara: "Hold on!"
She threw her helmet on the ground and began to walk to 'Mechamaru'
Itadori: "Kugisaki's snapped! It's a free-for-all!"
Panda had to restrain Nobara as she was near to Mai.
Nobara: "That's obviously a pitching machine!"
Mai: "What are you talking about? It's a spare. A spare Mechamaru. We don't have a choice, since Panda broke him the other day. Pitching machine? I don't understand. You know a lot about machines. Are you an otaku?"
Nobara: "It's just one thing after another with you! And yet somehow you're still a Jujutsu High student!"
Eventually, the things calmed down and Nobara returned to her position, 'Mechamaru' turned on and shot a high-speed ball at her, which she successfully hit.
Nobara: "Fine, I'll do this!"
The ball was caught by Noritoshi and then sent to Mai.
Itadori: "Oh, she got on base."
Megumi: "She's desperate"
Megumi then got on the batter position.
'Mechamaru' shot another ball at Megumi, to which he gave a small tap at it with the bat, letting Todo grab it and throw it to Mai.
Satoru: "Out."
Panda then went to bat.
A ball was shot at Panda and it successfully batted it. Miwa almost caught it. Panda ran to Mai, Nobara to Noritoshi.
Next up, Maki went to bat.
Mai: "tsk."
'Mechamaru' sent a ball to Maki, which she powerfully hit, sending it flying.
Everyone watched in surprise as Nobara walked to Mai with a smug grin.
Maki: "Okay, that's three."
But the ball was caught mid-air by Momo flying with her broom.
Shocking/angering the Tokyo students.
Itadori: "That's cheating!"
Inumaki: "Bonito flakes!"
Megumi: "Kugisaki, go back."
Due to the lack of players, one outfielder is permitted to use cursed techniques
(y/n) was currently 'washing' the dishes, not really since all he did was break them, if they were dirty, why would they need to be cleaned when they can just get new ones? That's what he thought.
So, when he was tasked to clean them, he would break most of them and hide the remains somewhere or disintegrate them, but due to being caught multiple times, he needed to stop doing it. Of course, he did not pay attention and kept breaking them, but cleaning one or two, saying the rest disappeared.
As he let another plate break, he heard footsteps approaching, but the remains of the plate were still there, he didn't have time to hide them in a good place, so he did the only good thing that came up to his mind, put the broken pieces on his mouth and swallow. Not very smart.
Cuts began to appear as he did his best to swallow them, the feeling of the pieces cutting his mouth and throat intensifying, blood accumulating on his mouth. (y/n) did his best to not spit it out.
Mai and Miwa appeared from the corner of the room.
Mai: "Oi, do you know where Nishimiya is?"
(y/n) didn't respond.
Mai: "Did you hear me?"
Still, no answer from him.
Mai: "Answer!"
Yet again, he did not respond, angering Mai.
Mai: "Can you talk?!"
She slightly hit (y/n) in the back, immediately causing (y/n) to spit all the blood stored in his mouth and fall on his fours, some blood had made its way to his lungs, making him want to cough. And Mai's hit was the last straw.
Mai: "(y-(y/n)!"
She knelt beside him and put her hand on his back, as he continued to spit all the blood.
Miwa instantly fainted by seeing the amount of blood.
In the end, (y/n) was healed and Miwa was slightly scared of Mai, thinking she was the one who caused it
