(y/n) finally arrived at the principal's room, thanks to Miwa. He knocked on the shoji and was let in.
Yoshinobu: "What took you so long?"
(y/n): "s-sorry"
Utahime: "Let's continue. There have been many reports about a Grade 3 curse roaming around Higashi-Otani cemetery. It's not weird to see them around those places. We need you to take care of it"
(y/n): What the hell is a 3 grade. "Sure, am I going with some-"
Yoshinobu: "No, you'll go alone"
(y/n): "Riiight...I'll be going then..."
(y/n) then left the room, leaving only Yoshinobu and Utahime.
Utahime: "Are you sure about this?"
Yoshinobu: "Very"
As (y/n) walked away from the room, he encountered Miwa, which seemed to be waiting for him.
Miwa: "And? What did they tell you?"
(y/n): "They sent me to a mission to some cemetery, there seems to be a grade something curse there"
Miwa: "Oh, and who's going to be your partner?"
(y/n): "No one apparently"
Miwa: "Oh... Oh! Maybe it's like your entrance exam!"
(y/n)" My what?"
Miwa: "They're sending you alone because they need to know your worth!"
(y/n): "I'm not sure I quite understand"
Miwa: "Think about it. You entered the School directly to being a Second year, without any exam of any sort, so this mission will be that exam"
(y/n): "Oh! I didn't see it like that, as expected you're really smart, Kasumi-sama!"
Miwa: "D-don't call me sama... Anyway... You should get going, I think it's pretty far from here"
(y/n): "I don't know where that is but... with the help of this device I'll reach my destiny!" He said as he held up high his phone. "I'll be going now, bye!"
Miwa: "R-right..."
And with that, he left, beginning his journey to Higashi-Otani cemetery.
Miwa: Wait... How is he going o get back if he doesn't know where this is...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Even with the help of the GPS (y/n) still took his time to reach the cemetery, because he had trouble using it and went to different streets that had nothing to do with the main route. Matter of fact, even with Utahime's teaching, he isn't able to use his phone, mainly because when she was showing him how to use it, he was with the bandages on and his eyes closed.
But after some time and luck, he was able to reach his destination.
(y/n): "I wonder if this is the right place... Only one way to find out"

And so he entered the cemetery, walking through the tombs, his path only being light by the moonlight. Lucky for him, there weren't any civilians in the nearby area.
He kept walking, occasionally tripping on a tombstone, but never falling to the ground. He was walking towards a red souled figure, but suddenly it vanished, appearing in front of (y/n), looming over him.
(y/n): "hm?"
The two of them just stared at each other, the cursed spirit seemed to have a certain part of his soul where it was redder than the rest.
(y/n): "Shoo"
With a swipe from his hand, the Curse was sent flying. (y/n) had expected for the curse to crash into the gravestones, but he was surprised when he didn't hear anything and "saw" his surroundings had changed, he no longer saw the souls of trees or anything else, but a blue soul dome surrounding the area, meaning he was now inside an innate domain.
(y/n): hm?
The Curse stood up, confused by what just happened, it instantly fired a beam of unrefined cursed energy. (y/n) lifted his right arm as the beam clashed into the palm of his hand, seeming to disappear into it. He then lifted his other arm, pointing with his index finger at the curse, making a finger gun.
(y/n):
The top half body of the curse was suddenly disintegrated. The innate domain disappeared, leaving only the legs of the curse which were slowly disintegrating, and a strange finger. (y/n) walked up to it and picked it up.
(y/n): "A Finger?... ugly... I think I'm done here."
He threw the finger away and began walking back to the entrance of the cemetery. This time he tripped on a gravestone and fell. The rest of the trip was normal, but he wasn't going to the Kyoto Jujutsu Tech, he went to the Arashiyama Bamboo forest. It is kind of surprising how quickly he can move from one place to another.
He began to walk in the bamboo path, with his bandages off to admire the beautiful scenery displayed before his (e/c) eyes, his eyes were also a sight to see, his eyes having strange kanjis on his pupils, but they were based on the kanji ". Luckily, the lights that were usually turned on in the path, were off, letting his eyes see the full view without a problem.
He stayed there for some time, walking the path over and over, when the path ended, he would just turn around and keep walking. He repeated this until the sun was starting to come out, he placed his bandages again and began to walk towards his original destination.

(y/n): "Im back!"
He said as he passed through the gates of the college, but there was no one to hear him. He had returned after some hours, he had left at approximately 6:58 pm and had returned at 9:37 am,
He walked inside the main building and went to the Principal. He slid the door without knocking and with enough force to create a loud bang, which slightly scared Yoshinobu and Utahime, which was also inside.
(y/n): "I have returned!" He happily said
Utahime: "E-eh? What took you so long?"
(y/n): "Did I pass?"
Utahime: "Pass what?"
(y/n): "The exam!"
Utahime: "An exam? What exam?"
(y/n): "Miwa-sama said this was like an entrance exam, and I have successfully eliminated the grade something curse, so did I pass?"
Utahime: "sure?"
(y/n): "Yeah!"
Utahime: "... Well, get going, the rest are having breakfast go eat then we'll tell you what to do"
(y/n): "Okay, I'll go now, bye!"
In the whole conversation, he could feel the piercing glare of Yoshinobu, not saying anything, only staring.
He walked out of the room and closed the door, yet again with too much force. He went outside the building, looking for the cafeteria. But as he walked through the college, he noticed a quickly approaching figure, until they were face to face.
(y/n): "hm?"
Aoi: "You're the new Second-year, right?"
(y/n): "Yes"
Aoi: "I see... but before I can call you a fellow classmate, there's something important I need to know"
(y/n): "huh? Another entrance exam?"
Aoi: "You can call it that... Now, tell me. What is your type of woman?!"
(y/n): "a?"
Aoi: "Having passed directly to the Second-years is something rare, so I need to know the answer to that. And by knowing your taste I can see if you're really worthy of such thing."
(y/n): "Right... My type of woman would be... hmmm."
Aoi: "Or man, don't worry, I won't judge"
(y/n): "Oh! I know! My type of Woman is the ones with those crazy hair colors!"
Aoi: "Hair colors?... Hm... Like Miwa and Mai, right?"
(y/n): "Yeah!, Although I haven't seen Mai's hair tho"
Aoi: "I see, quite an interesting liking. Not very boring... But not the best either... But at least you aren't a boring person, I approve! Now let's go to the cafeteria, Im hungry"
(y/n): "Right"
After the not-so-usual talk, Todo walked to the cafeteria as (y/n) followed. The rest of the second and third years were there, already eating.
Mai: "You took your time, Grab your food and eat quickly, Our Sensei wants us to start training for the Goodwill Event."
Todo: "Right"
Todo went to the fridge and prepared his food, as (y/n) he only sat between Miwa and Mechamaru.
Mai: "Aren't you going to eat?"
(y/n): "No, I'm not hungry at the moment."
Miwa: "Really? You haven't eaten since we found you."
(y/n): "Yep."
Noritoshi: "Found?"
Miwa: "oh, I-"
(y/n): "It's nothing."
Noritoshi: "Still, I would like to know."
(y/n): "I'm serious, it's not interesting, nothing you would like to know."
Noritoshi: "Don't worry, it'll be interesting for me"
(y/n): "Why so stubborn, if you want something interesting go read a book or something."
Noritoshi: "Struck a nerve?"
(y/n): "Not quite."
The tension between the two began to rise, all of the other participants could only stare and focus on eating their foods, not wanting to get involved.
Miwa: "g-guys, calm down please."
(y/n): "Miwa-sama's correct, let's start again, I'm (y/n), nice to meet you!"
Noritoshi: "Kamo Noritoshi, my pleasure."
Then everything went normal, occasionally some small talk but nothing important, as they finished eating and putting their plates away they went to the training grounds, to sharpen their skills for the upcoming events in just a few days. But Momo and Noritoshi had to leave due to being called for a mission.
Each brought their respective non-lethal training weapons, Miwa brought a wooden sword, Mai her revolver with rubber bullets, but neither Aoi nor Mechamaru brought something, along with (y/n).
They began to warm up as (y/n) stood watching them not doing anything.
Aoi: "Aren't you going to warm up?"
(y/n): Don't worry, I'm always warm."
While they were warming up, a conversation of a certain someone was brought up, about an incident that had just happened at the same time that (y/n) went on a mission.
Mai: "Did you guys hear? One of Tokyo's first-year students died, apparently, it was Sukuna's vessel"
Miwa: "Oh... Really? It must be terrible for them." She said in a sad tone.
Mai: "Nonsense, It must be a source of happiness, I can't imagine how it'll be to live with a curse."
(y/n) could only hear, and decided not to talk.
They stopped with the warm-up, to begin with the training, they would often go into separate areas to train alone but sometimes they would train together, and since the Goodwill event would have them fight the Tokyo students they decided to train in pairs.
Mai: "(y/n)-san, would you mind training with me?"
(y/n): "Sure!"
They walked to a certain area separated from the group while they watched, curious about what cursed technique (y/n) uses.
Mai: "Ready?"
(y/n): "Yesh!"

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y
