Jungho's head is resting on Taehyung's chest as he's drawing random patterns on his back; a thing he used to do to Jeongguk.

He keeps thinking about all the comments people keep making about how Jungho and Jeongguk look alike.

A soft snort is heard from him just as Taehyung stares at his face.

No, you are not like him.

The buzz of Taehyung's phone is heard on top of Jungho's wardrobe. Stretching his hand as much as possible, he tries not to wake the boy up as he unlocks the phone and lowers his brightness to minimum.

Jeongguk.

No matter how much he tries to push himself away, he always gets pulled back.

With a glimpse of Jungho's face, he knows he needs it. They need it.

He can do it. And once he does, all of this will be over.

"Tae!" a figure waves at him from the stairs in front of the museum just when he was about to panic because he didn't see him around.

Jeongguk really took time to cover himself because not even Taehyung could recognise him. A black bucket hat,

a face mask and a leather jacket which hugs his body perfectly...Taehyung can only admire.

"Hi, ready to go inside?" Jeongguk smiles when the older reaches him.

At the sight of Jeongguk right in front of him, he doubts he'll be able to get through the night without any more heartaches.

Still, he reminds himself that both him and Jeongguk are with somebody else now and it's time for them to finally be friends again without all the nostalgic emotions.

It's time to finally let him go, and the best way is to let himself get to know him and become close again. Maybe they can do it. It's definitely going to be a test for both Jeongguk and Taehyung.

"Sure, let's go," Taehyung nods and walks in front of Jeongguk into the gallery.

Taehyung hates this. Hates how completely comfortable Jeongguk is around him when he himself can't even look at him without his heart bumping like crazy against the rip cage.

He hates himself for drowning in his eyes and smile, and his eyes when he smiles and the sound of his laugh...It really is hard to be calm around him.

They walk around the halls where walls are full of paintings and Taehyung keeps blabbing about the details people usually don't even notice but Tae with his heart of an artist can see them clearly and Jeongguk listens to him with so much interest.

It's been years and I still can't look at you without being hopelessly in love with everything you do.

He can feel the younger's focused eyes on him as he studies the last painting. An unfinished night sky with a beautiful young girl in the middle, sitting at one of the stars. The whole view seems to be unfocused, except for the girl with deep dark eyes which match her long wavy hair. He recognises the letters hidden at the background.

Just when his eyes fall on Jeongguk too, he reminds himself why he came here.

He needs to get over it and learn to be friends. Studying the diamond ring the younger's wearing on his finger, he recognises the bright white crystals. Their old shared memory...

"Hyung?"

"Hmm?" the older hums, warm fingertips tracing small hearts all over Jeongguk's naked chest.

"You know how you gave purple a special meaning?"

"Yes?"

"I made my own too," he says, Taehyung's head shifting so he can stare up at his boy.

"And what is that?"

"It's about crystal white. It means I never want us to be apart from now on."

Taehyung's eyes become glassy as he stares up right into Jeongguk's doe ones.

"Why that colour?"

"Because it reminds me of the stars that shine on the sky and reflect in your eyes..."

He examines the ring from afar, little white crystals decorating the simple ring. Crystal white, the colour which was supposed to be meant for them but is now a connection of the boy he loved and his wife.

"Are you still as bad drinker as you used to be?" Jeongguk jokes around in a bar while watching Taehyung's disgusted grimace on his face as he stares at the shot glass on the bar table.

"I never was a bad drinker," he snaps back, not having any of Jeongguk's teasing.

"You know I still remember that one time you started crying because I told you I had a boyfriend when you kept hitting on me?"

"Come on, you know I was too wasted that night," Taehyung groans but the smile on Jeongguk's face only grows wider at the memory.

"Too wasted to remember you were my boyfriend?"

"Shut up..."

"Guess I will need to watch over you again tonight then," he smirks at the bright pink colour of Tae's cheeks.

"You should watch over yourself so you won't ask me to sit on your lap while nibbling on my neck like you did anytime you were drunk," the words spill out of Taehyung's mouth before he can stop them and immediately shuts his mouth as his eyes grow wide.

"Sorry for that," he quickly takes the shot of alcohol and tries to hide his blushing cheeks behind the dark locks on his forehead.

"It's okay. I am not gonna lie about that," Jeongguk says calmly with a smile, not too affected by Taehyung's outburst.

Many shots later, which they took without even knowing the reason why, and many gazes after, the two ex lovers are more than a little intoxicated.

Taehyung doesn't like the way his eyes keep coming back to Jeongguk's exposed neck and collarbones. Nor does he like the way he licks and bites his lips. And the long dark locks falling over Jeongguk's eyes...

"I still can't believe you married Jimin because you were drunk and thought it was funny," Jeongguk says out of blue and Taehyung's head shots up to look at his blank expression.

"Yeah, seven years ago and looks like you are still pretty mad about it," he says with a chuckle, not knowing where the hell he got the sudden confidence from.

"You bet I am. He was even your first kiss, how am I supposed to feel about that?" Jeongguk sighs with a head shake, eyes scanning the shot glass in his hand.

"I am not the one who got married less than two years after we broke up."

Jeongguk's head slowly lifts up to look at Taehyung's unanticipated gaze, not realising the words he's letting out.

"I never did."

"It's okay, Jeongguk. For real...it's been four years, there's no reason to hide it from me. Mainly since you are about to have a baby," the older lets out a sarcastic chuckle.

"What are you talking about?" Jeongguk's eyebrows furrow into a hard frown.

"Come on, Gguk. I saw Jiae's stomach, you two can't hide it anymore. And don't worry...I won't tell anyone so no need to worry about your carrier."

"No, Tae. I mean it. I never married her."

Jeongguk's eyes burn holes into Taehyung but the soft confusion is still visible behind them.

"What do you mean...? The others told me to ask you about-"

"They told you to ask me about the wedding, haven't they? Come on, Taehyung. They wanted it to be me who tells you," his hand moves on it's own as it takes Taehyung's but he quickly slaps it away, heart breaking under the softness of Jeongguk's eyes.

"I don't want to hear it."

In less than a second, Taehyung jumps from the chair and runs to the door with Jeongguk behind his back.
