《the sincerity taehyung couldn't deliver.||COMPLETED》make you feel my love

As soon as the last song ends, Taehyung, with Jungho's hand still in his, rushes to the exit door until anyone can recognise him. They barely make it to the gate without bumping into other people, none of them seeming to want to leave as much as Taehyung does.

He ignores Jungho's complains which are silenced by the crowd until they reach one of the quieter corridors close to the exit and bump into a girl.

"Tae!" she calls out happily at the moment she recognises the boy in front of her.

Taehyung also recognises her as one of the staff members who always took good care of Jeongguk whenever he was on tour but his expression isn't nearly as excited as hers.

"Hi, I didn't know you'd come!"

"Hi," he says awkwardly.

"You need to go say hi to others!" she squeaks and already drags the boy with her through the glass door.

"Jen wait! I am here with someone," he complains, giving Jungho a worried look but Taehyung is the scared one here.

"It's okay, I am sure Jeongguk won't mind."

She drags the two all over the place, through many corridors leading to the dressing room without giving them a chance to run.

"Gguk, I brought you guests," she says while peeking inside the room and Taehyung knows if it wasn't too late to run now, he totally would. Even if he had to leave Jungho behind.

"Tae!" he hears the boy's surprised voice as he's pushed inside the room and he knows that his 'show up and disappear' plan is now a total failure.

He lets go of Jungho's hand too quickly, sure that Jeongguk must have noticed.

"I didn't know you came! You should have called, I would have given you a backstage access pass," Jeongguk speaks, almost seeming like he's scolding Taehyung but a comfortable smile plays on his lips for the whole time.

He can't help but stare at the all white outfit he's wearing. The one he saw from far away and wished could see from this close.

His long hair is pushed back and behind his ears but the dark locks still fall over his eyes. He really hasn't cut it for long but Taehyung doesn't complain a bit.

"We were just about to leave, but Jen caught us near the exit," Taehyung says awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.

"That seems a lot like her," he giggles cutely and Taehyung swears his heart danced.

"Hi. I am Jeongguk, how did you like the concert?" the boy politely stretches his hand towards Jungho who accepts it with a smile.

"I am Jungho. It's an honour to meet you, it was amazing," the smaller boy fanboys with a huge grin on his face and pink blush on his cheeks.

"It's my honour to meet Taehyung's company. And thank you, that's good to hear," Jeongguk says politely, bowing to the boy.

"And those fireworks. Those must have been so expensive!"

"They were," Jeongguk chuckles sincerely, smiling at the boy who seemed much younger and smaller compared to him.

"You know you really remind me of someone," tilting his head, he analyses the boy and Jungho's cheeks blush even more.

"So how long are you staying in the town, hyung?" he turns towards the frozen Taehyung and he feels himself shiver under Jeongguk's gaze.

"For about a week, I guess..." he shutters and Jeongguk is just about to ask more until the door is pushed open and the person Taehyung wanted to see the least walks in.

"Change quickly Gguk-ah. The car is waiting for you," Jae's high-pitched voice echoes through the whole room and Taehyung gulps loudly.

So this is really happening.

"Tell them to give me a second, please."

Taehyung looks away when she walks over to Jeongguk and ruffles his long hair just like he's been dreaming to do since he came inside this room.

"You really need a haircut," she tells him and Taehyung wants to punch that face of hers for saying such a thing while Jeongguk stays completely unaffected.

"I am not planning to anytime soon," he says and Taehyung mentally thanks him for those words because he swears Jeongguk never looked better than now.

"You remember Tae, right? And this is Jungho," he introduces them but the girl barely looks at them.

"He looks just like you," she tells Jeongguk and with a weird look, he analyses the boy next to Taehyung again.

"I guess," he mutters.

"We should go, it was nice to see you," Taehyung immediately grips Jungho's sleeve and pulls him towards the door, away from the two.

Jeongguk rushes after them and calls for the older before they can disappear.

"Tae! I'd be happy if you texted me if you're free till you're still here. It would be nice to catch up," he rushes the words, eyes worried and hopeful as he looks into Taehyung's.

"I will think about it. Bye Jeongguk," the other says coldly and gets behind the corner.

"I didn't know you two knew each other!" Jungho whisper-screams excitedly.

"We used to..." Taehyung mutters and continues walking down the hall.

_______

Taehyung was completely disappointed. How could he let Jae make him a complete fool in front of both Jeongguk and Jungho. And how she said the two look alike. Who does she even think she is to say such a thing?

"What's wrong? Did I do something?" Jungho asks sweetly at the sight of sulking Taehyung. He really hasn't been in the mood since they left the stadium.

"No, you didn't. I am sorry for being such a jerk," Taehyung sighs, knowing he shouldn't let his frustration out on the boy.

"I didn't know you were older than Jeonggukie hyung."

"Yeah, it doesn't seem like it though," Taehyung sighs, taking a sip from his drink.

"Are you some kind of an undercover celebrity too, or?" he teases and they both burst into laughter as their eyes meet.

"You are a dumbass, have I told you?" Taehyung chuckles while shaking his head.

"No, but you just did."

The two finish their drinks and Taehyung walks the younger back home like the gentleman he is.

"So, I am home."

"So, you are home," Taehyung teases and earns a smash from the younger with a wave of giggles.

"If you weren't older than me I would tell you are an idiot, hyung," Jungho scolds him with a bright smile and Taehyung smirks at him.

"But I am so you can't," he catches himself speaking in a deeper voice as he lowers his head towards the smaller boy's. The thing that always happened automatically whenever he was around Jeongguk.

Jungho takes a little step closer and whispers an inch in front of Taehyung's face.

"You are an idiot."

Taehyung closes the gap between them with his lips which linger on top of the younger's. The kiss is sweet and innocent, way too innocent. Jungho is the nicest boy he's met and he knows he doesn't deserve him with all the mess his head holds but he decides he deserves to be selfish for a little while.

Cold hand on his warm cheek, Taehyung pulls away and watches the smile linger on Jungho's lips and lets himself be happy too.

He wishes he could make Jeongguk as happy as he makes this boy.

He's been hoping since he's left him four years ago and he really wishes he did, at least once.
