The moment their lips connect, the time stops.

They're brought back to the times when they could still just love and love each other without having to hold back. They are back in the most beautiful moments of their life.

As if the two years they spent apart never existed. As if Taehyung never left Jeongguk's arms which felt so much like home.

As Taehyung finds himself in Jeongguk's arms, engulfed by his warmth and the love shining in his eyes, he's overwhelmed with the closeness they share.

They are back to two years ago when everything was still the way it was supposed to be. And just like it used to be, everything seems to be perfect again.

Jeongguk's lips move on Taehyung's, like they were made to connect.

As they kiss and Jeongguk wraps his arms around the older's tiny waist, he knows they are still the same. The Taehyung he is kissing is the same Taehyung he fell in love with so many years ago. The same Taehyung who made him who he is today.

Nothing has changed.

The kiss gets more desperate, deep and needy, yet still full of love.

They feel like they have all the time in the world, but Jeongguk is impatient and doesn't want to wait any longer.

His hands grip on the back of Taehyung's thighs and without thinking he immediately jumps up and wraps his legs around Jeongguk's waist, allowing him to carry him inside.

Jeongguk gently places the older on the bed, breaking their kiss for a second to stare down at him. Taehyung's hair is messy, exposing his forehead. He's lying on the bed while breathing heavily, a pair of curious eyes staring back up at Jeongguk.

"God damn, you are so beautiful, Taehyung," he groans before lying on top of him and connecting their lips again.

"I know, you used to tell me all the time," the older chuckles, feeling the ticklish sensation as Jeongguk lowers his head to place warm kisses on his neck.

Hands all over each other, Jeongguk roams his hands underneath Taehyung's shirt, remembering every inch of his body. He hasn't changed.

After all, they knew each other better than anyone. They had all their first times together so it was expected that they knew every part of each other, and they still do.

And Jeongguk just confirms that as he knows exactly what to do and where to touch to make Taehyung go crazy under his hands.

However, instead of letting out a moan he was holding just a few seconds ago, Taehyung bursts into laughter, making Jeongguk stop and look down at him with a confused expression.

"What did you just remember?" he raises his eyebrows, staring at Taehyung who's trying to hide his face behind his palm.

"Our first time."

"Aah, Taehyung-ah!" Jeongguk scolds him between a huge grin, hiding his face in the crook of Taehyung's neck.

"Sorry, it was just way too funny."

Supporting his weight on his arms, one on each side of Taehyung's head, he lifts himself up so he's towering over Tae's smaller frame, staring at him strictly but his eyes say otherwise.

"You will never stop bringing that up, will you, Kim?" Jeongguk says, shaking his head in disbelief.

"No, sorry," Taehyung chuckles.

"You were such a kid Ggukie," he stares up at him, warm palm carresing his cheek.

"I am a man now," he frowns, pulling the hand away from his face and intertwining their fingers above Taehyung's head.

"Yeah, you are. You've grown up so much. I wish I could be there to see it," his smile drops, making Jeongguk caress his cheek lovingly.

"You still can," he whispers softly.

"I will."

Taehyung places a promise kiss on Jeongguk's soft lips.

The younger extends the kiss, not wanting to pull away from Taehyung's sweet lips just yet.

In a few seconds, when Taehyung is able to breath properly again, he stares at Jeongguk and pats his side to make him roll down from the top of him, but he doesn't listen.

"We should go downstairs."

"Not yet," the younger groans and covers Taehyung's cheek with little kisses.

"Ggukie..."

His head shots up, eyebrows furrowed in a frown as he glares at the older.

"I am not letting you go now. You owe me cuddles."

'What a baby,' Taehyung mumbles to himself at the sight of Jeongguk's adorable nose scrunch and lets him lay on top of him.

"You still use the cologne I bought you?" he asks, smelling the scent of the younger.

"Uhm," he nods his head in the crook of Taehyung's neck.

"It's my favourite."

"I know."

"You little dork..." Taehyung chuckles, letting his hands wrap around Jeongguk's broad back, feeling his lips still softly nibbling on his neck.

"What are we even doing?" he asks with a sigh.

Jeongguk stays quiet for a second, thinking.

"I don't know but I am finally not overthinking whether it's right or not."

Taehyung only nods his head. Just knowing that Jeongguk is happy is enough to let him cuddle him.

He knows it's wrong. He knows this is just ruining everything he's suffered so much for and that he's the one who's gonna end up hurt when Jeongguk leaves him behind, but damn, he is ready to go through it all over again for this boy.

As the comforting silence falls between them, Taehyung inhales Jeongguk's so well known scent again, filling his lungs with the sweet fragnance of home.

"I have been suffering from depression, Tae," the younger suddenly speaks up and Taehyung's body freezes.

"W-what?"

"Yeah, I am still not fully healed, but it's getting better," he talks calmly, way too calmly that it only makes the older more scared.

He sits up with Jeongguk still cuddled on his chest, making them face each other.

He takes Jeongguk's face into his hands, staring deeply into his eyes as he talks softly.

"You should have t-told me."

The younger shakes his head, looking as fragile as ever.

"I couldn't. I have already done so many mistakes, Tae..."

"Ggukie, don't talk like that."

"But, it's true. We should have talked. I shouldn't have left," tears rolling down his cheek, his voice slowly starts to break just like he breaks from inside.

"You did what you had to do," Taehyung tries to comfort him, but it's no help.

"No, I did what was the easiest to do. And look where it got us," Jeongguk raises his voice, not because he's angry at Taehyung, but angry at himself.

"If you mean into each other's arms then I don't regret a single thing."

And Taehyung was right.

Because they both knew that no matter what happens, if they are in each other's arms at the end, then it was all worth the wait.
