《the sincerity taehyung couldn't deliver.||COMPLETED》|32| - the heart i broke.

The next day, just like any other day, Taehyung couldn't get Jeongguk out of his head. But this time, it wasn't like any other day.
This time, he couldn't get the memories from yesterday out of his head. The way Jeongguk looked at him, the way his lips melted so perfectly on Jeongguk's. He still remembers how he tastes.
He really wanted that moment to last forever, because even if it was just for a minute, it was the most beautiful feeling he felt after so long.
It felt like all the time they spend apart hasn't changed anything about the way they felt, about their love for each other. At that moment, for the first time after forever, Taehyung felt complete, he felt alive.
However, the happy moment didn't last for long, Taehyung had to pull away from Jeongguk's sweet lips. They stared at each other, both panting.
Taehyung gulped, and with a quiet 'i am so sorry' he ran out of the place.
Just like every time, he pushed the thought of a beautiful boy with starry eyes out of his head. But never out of his heart.
________
"Taehyung isn't here?" Jeongguk asks innocently as he's following Jimin around the dorm's halls to his room.
"He left about an hour ago, Bogum came to pick him up," the older explains before opening the door of his room.
It hurt Jeongguk, he couldn't push the feeling away. The thought of Taehyung hanging out with the guy he cheated on him with, it hurt, hurt like hell, even after all this time.
"Why did you come so suddenly?" Jimin asks, patting the space on the bed next to him for Jeongguk to sit.
"Jiae kicked me out because she has friends over," Jeongguk explains with a pout, looking like a sad baby.

"What? She kicked you out of your own house?"
"Not really kicked me out but...something like that," Jeongguk sighs, playing with the hem of his hoodie.
Jimin sighs, looking at his feet and thinking of a way to cheer up the younger.
"Wanna play some games or are you too old for that?" he offers with a smirk, knowing that there was no way Jeongguk would dump him.
"I am never too old for games," and with a challenging smile, Jeongguk jumps on the chair and turns on the computer.
________
________
One hour after midnight, Taehyung gets back to dorm and goes straight to bed. He's reminded that his room is now on the second floor, on left because at the times when Hoseok is away for dance practices, he shares a room with Jimin instead of his hyung.
The house is quiet, signalising that everyone is soundly asleep, maybe except for Namjoon and Yoongi who keep working on new songs until the sunrise.
Carefully, he opens the door to the room, walking in slowly to not make a sound as he places his backpack on the floor.
He quickly switches his shirt for a more comfortable one and pulls his pants down, leaving him in boxers.
The room is dark and even the moon doesn't shine as brightly tonight so he can only hear a soft snoring coming from Jimin's bed.
He smiles and lays down on his bed, trying to put the sheets over him but they seem to be stuck for some reason.
In a few seconds, Taehyung's vision in the dark gets clearer and his eyes recognise a black-haired head lying on his pillow.
"Jin hyung, go to your room," he groans quietly, trying to pull the sheets from his hyung's grip.

The sleeping body of his hyung rolls on the other side, now facing Taehyung and his hyung immediately pulls his body closer to his chest. And at the sight of the face, Taehyung realises it wasn't Jin, but tJeongguk, asleep in his bed.
His heart speeds up in a second, watching the peaceful sleeping face just a few centimetres from him. He knew how much of a cuddler Jeongguk was, and even now, in his sleepy state he pulled Taehyung's smaller body close to his chest, arm wrapped around his slim waist.
Taehyung was breathing heavily, no matter how good Jeongguk smelled and how warm and loving his embrace was, he needed to get away before he wakes up and the whole situation turns even more awkward between them.
He was asleep, he surely didn't even know it was Taehyung he was hugging.
Shifting to get away from the younger's grip, Taehyung only feels the arm around his waist grip him tighter, signalising that Jeongguk must have been more awake than he thought.
"It's me, Jeongguk. Let go," the older whispers, pushing the other's chest.
Then a deep sleepy voice rings in Taehyung's ears and he can't believe he heard what he heard.
"Don't go."
Taehyung freezes, feeling Jeongguk's warm fingers soothing the skin on his waist, under his shirt, just a centimetre above the waistband of his boxers, reminding him that he was way too naked to be lying next to his ex.
He closes his eyes, letting Jeongguk's fingers create shivers which are slowly running down his back.
Taehyung places his head against Jeongguk's chest, listening to his stable heartbeat. How is he so calm when Taehyung is losing his mind right here?
Head on his chest, Taehyung's hand goes up to Jeongguk's hair, running through the soft raven locks which got so much longer. The other hand is placed against Jeongguk's chest, right where his heart is beating. The innocent heart Taehyung broke.
With a sweet kiss being placed on top of his head, Taehyung gives up and falls into deep night, held in the hands of the one he loves.
