"How is the album going?"

"It's almost done. I just have to add two more songs."

"Isn't it too soon?" Jimin asks worriedly, scanning the younger boy in front of him.

"It is. But I have to start functioning normally," Jeongguk says, emptying another glass of alcohol.

"Did your manager push you into it?"

"Yeah, but he's right. I need the money, Jimin," Jeongguk looks into Jimin's worried eyes with his glassy ones.

Jimin hated how much they've changed, he hasn't seen Jeongguk for less than two weeks but he has changed extremely. He was no longer the younger brother who was always full of joy and playfulness.

"You should take care of yourself first, Gguk. At least wait for a month more. I am sure the fans also wouldn't like it if they knew you made it this way."

"It's too late to back away. I can do it, don't worry hyung," he smiled at his friend but the smile didn't reach his eyes even slightly.

"Do you have any news from him?" the younger asks after a while of silence, looking down at his half empty glass.

"Yeah...he asked about you."

"He did?" Jeongguk's eyebrows raise in surprise.

"Why are you so surprised? I know he fucked up but he still loves you."

"You know what, I don't want to talk about it right now," Jeongguk snickers back harshly.

"You're not going to get over him without talking about it."

"I will. Just let it be."

"Fine, whatever you want," Jimin goes to the bathroom to take a shower, leaving the younger alone to finish the bottle.

That night, when Jimin fell asleep, Jeongguk tried to do the same but with no sucess.

He walked over to his desk, went through all the photos he had with Taehyung on his phone and stayed up all night to finish the last two songs.
