Everything was fine. Until it wasn't.
Taehyung and Jungkook used to be the most popular and the most loved couple in their country.
People loved them, they would receive support not just from their fans and friends, but also from people who barely knew them.
Of course not every person in the world was over the heels of them, but they definitely were over the heels for each other.
There was no lie about Taehyung and Jungkook being desperately and endlessly in love with each other. They were lovers and best friends in the first place.
They'd rather die than live without the other, that's how much they felt for each other.
Then why the hell would they throw away everything they've had?
The answer wasn't that simple. None of them really knew what had happened.
Or did they?
—💫—
Everything was fine.
Jungkook was excited to finally get back to the apartment he shared with his boyfriend. He couldn't wait to see his messy bed hair and the bare face he loved so much. He would have run to his apartment if he wasn't so tired.
He walked up the stairs, luggage in his hand, and already saw himself cuddled under the sheets with Taehyung in his arms. Sweet home.
He opened the door and threw his shoes with a luggage somewhere, he didn't care where because he could already hear Taehyung humming to some song which was being played on the radio.
Taehyung's mouth left a high-pitched sound of surprise as Jeongguk quietly came from behind and hugged him tightly, inhaling his well-known scent.
Being on tour alone for weeks was hard, but they managed. Jeongguk was always the happiest to come back home to Taehyung already waiting for him with fresh food and mainly cuddles.
"God, Gguk-ie, I missed you too but you don't have to squash me, you muscle pig," Taehyung laughed but his words were stopped by Jeongguk who has already claimed his lips.

"I missed you so much more, baby," he whispered between messy kisses being placed all over Taehyung's face.
"You better, I had to call Jimin over since the bed was so empty without you," Taehyung complained.
"I am sorry, Tae. You know I need that money," the younger apologised, hands never loosing the grip on his boyfriend's waist.
"I know, Ggukie. I just wish you were around more often."
"I will, I promise. So, what have you been doing all this time without me?" Jeongguk asks once he finally lets go of him to let him finish dinner.
"Nothing really. It's always so boring without you here."
"Did you go to that party Namjoon hyung mentioned yesterday?" Jeongguk asked, remembering their video-call from the day before.
"Uhm, yeah, I did. But it was too packed for my liking," Taehyung smiled slightly as he put a meal on the table for Jeongguk.
"Who's that?" the older asked as he heard the buzzing of Jeongguk's phone on the table.
"I don't know. Probably nothing serious."
"Go check it."
Jeongguk looks up at his boyfriend and sighs. Taehyung was right. He should probably check if it's important.
He wishes he didn't.
He looked at the screen of his phone and saw an email from an unknown person. He could see there was an attachment and he instinctively looked at Taehyung.
"What's it about?"
"I don't know," Jeongguk says hesitantly and presses the button to open the attachment.
There was a picture of two men in black clothes. The quality of the picture was poor as it was evidently taken at night.
But Jeongguk could still recognise the person on it.
It was his boyfriend kissing a boy.
He wishes it was him who was on the picture. He'd give anything for it to be him. God damn he really wanted it to be him.
But it wasn't.

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?

The Othryrian Archives
"Humanity is on the cusp of their Great Expansion. It will be the first time in history that they’ve reached beyond their own solar system in an attempt to colonize the galaxy. Or, at least, so they thought. Peeling back the veil of time, The Empire of Sol has uncovered vestiges of a secret genetic program on the far flung planet of Hod. The advent of the Empire’s ancient enemy could upset the careful balance of power throughout in the Sol System. When Hod is invaded by the Empire, Andros Aeton is pressed into their service and his people are held hostage. Unbeknownst to him, factions within the Empire vie to use him to their own ends. He must claim his heritage if he has any hope of escaping the clutches of the forces that seek to use him." This is a work in progress. Major editing will be done after the book is complete, so there will be egregious typos and parts that make no sense whatsoever. Please feel free to point any and all of these things out. Chapters WILL get edited, and that editing might break earlier chapters. I will attempt to keep readers apprised of all changes. As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated. The planet Earth no longer holds any resemblance with the beautiful blue sphere depicted in photographs of the past. Instead the clouds in the sky come in only brown and various shades of gray. World Labyrinth
Meet our hero: an average young man with an average life, who ended up dying while working an average job. However, he's a given a chance to see another world at the final crossroads of his old life. The catch... well... he knows there's one. There always is. But, hey, when you're about to die, you take whatever opportunity's provided to you. This is the young man's story in the new world as he learns he can't afford to be average anymore. AUTHOR'S NOTE: I've decided to put this note up due to some comments and ratings left for this ORIGINAL FICTION complaining its boring. This story starts slow and it takes time for things to pick up. Also the MC doesn't start off as superman or become superman magically in two chapters. He also is AVERAGE... so it takes time to build up his character. Starting chapter 14 or so things pick up, but this isn't a pure hack and slash and skills level up story like most of the FF on this site. Just giving you a warning, so you don't end up disappointed and end up having to post large paragraphs complaining about the story... I also post on average every TWO OR THREE DAYS, so you'll get more to read.
