"The red one"he said before I heard the clicking of his controller.

"Mhm okay now should I get these clear heels or these nude heels?"

He continued playing his game.

"Lontrell!"

"Huh?"

"Okay never mind"I said before getting up with my laptop and phone.

I headed out of the room and upstairs to L.A.'s room.

When I walked into his room he was sitting in the chair at his desk while on his phone.

"Hey son"I said while walking in his room then plopping down on his bed.

"What you doing?"

"Texting my friend"

"Who Jason?"

"Nah you ain't met her yet"

"What's her name?"

"She's eight"

"Clean up your room"I said while standing.

"It isn't dirty"

"Can I do it later or tomorrow?"

"No because you asked me that yesterday and the week before"

"Mmcht. Okay I'll clean it but only under one circumstance"

"You let me buy this four wheeler"he said while showing it to me on his phone.

I looked down at the price and shook my head no.

"That's very expensive for a nine year old and didn't you just get a new MacBook Pro?"

I thought about it for a few seconds.

"Let's go ask your dad"I said and he got up and followed me all the way to our bedroom.

"Yea"he said before looking back up at the tv and playing his game.

"Yesss!!"Landon yelled before running out of our room.

"Lontrell!! Did you not see how much that damn thing costed?"

"Yea if that's what he want, move out the way"he said while pushing me to the side.

I sighed and looked at him before going to unplug his game.

"What the fuck you doin Cuh!?"

"I'm trynna talk to you that's what the fuck I'm doing!"

"You just bought Landon one of the newest MacBooks then you turn around and let him buy that. I don't fucking get it!!"

"Yo ass sound jealous"

"I'm jealous!!? That's a child, I'll never be. But I am fucking fed up because I've been asking Landon to clean up his room for almost two weeks and he has yet to do it, then you turn around and let him buy a brand new expensive ass four wheeler! He's too fucking spoiled!"

"He's a fucking kid, what do you expect him to be!!? You act just like him anyways so ion see what the problem is!"

"Oh I act just like him?... Nah I take care of my fucking responsibilities unlike your ass, you don't even do shit! You need to be trynna teach him something before he turns out to be like your ass!!"

"Mane that's my son, if he wants a damn four wheeler he gone get a damn four wheeler. Shit even if he wants two of them bitches he can get two! You ain't his fucking mama anyways so you can't tell him or me what the fuck to do!"

"Yea I might not be his mama but I damn sure take good ass care of him and I love him to fucking death just like he's my own! With that being said I think that I should have some say about how you parent him because I'm the one who's actually doing it right!"

"He ain't yours and won't ever be yours so you might as well shut that shit up! I'm the only mf that pays the bills around this bitch so whatever I say goes if you got a problem with it then get the fuck out!"

"Okay well since you pay the bills around this bitch and whatever you say goes, how about to get up off of your ass and do something for once! Don't call my mfn phone either, I'll be back when I get ready!"I yelled while grabbing my purse along with my keys and sliding my Uggs on.

I headed all the way to my car before leaving.

I hated to leave my girls with him but oh fucking well he shouldn't have said what the fuck he just said.

Once I took my scarf off and brushed my hair, I pulled off to my store.

Since today it's closed Ima just go there and sit in my office.

I sat in my office scrolling down my Twitter feed while eating a bag of Doritos that I got out of my snack drawer.

As I was doing so, my mama called me.

I sat up in my chair and answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey boo!!"

"Hey mama"

"How you doing? I miss you"

"I miss you too mama and I'm doing good, how about yourself?"

"I'm doing good and are you sure?"

"Yes"

"What I tell you about lying to me Suhan? I'm your mother, I can hear it all in your voice when somethings wrong"

"Well Lontrell and I got into an argument like an hour ago because Landon was trynna but this four wheeler. I was trynna prevent Lontrell from allowing him to get the four wheeler because of the simple fact that he hasn't cleaned his room after I've asked multiple times, and he just got the new MacBook that just came out. I told him that Landon was too spoiled and he tried to say that I act just like Landon and I'm just jealous. He just went on a whole rant about some more bullshit so I left"

"Well what did he say that made you leave?"

"First he said that I'm not Landon's mom and I understand that. Then he said he's the only one that pays the bills so whatever he says goes, yea just bullshit"

"Well yea he's right about the first one babe. You're not Landon's mom and he's his father so whatever say you think you have, it really doesn't matter. Now about what he said about paying the bills, I don't know if he's right or not but that still doesn't give him the fucking right to run you!"

"I just feel like if Landon's been around me this long and has already allowed me to undergo the position of stepping in and being his mother then I should have some say in how he's being brought up. I love him like he's my own and, just like them, I want the best for him. And if Lontrell keeps on spoiling him and not teaching him how to stand up for his responsibilities then he's not ever gonna learn anything in life"

"Mhm I totally understand where you're coming from but that's his son Suhan. You're not his step mother either so you still can't tell him or Lontrell what to do when it comes to him. He's just a child now though, he'll learn sooner or later. Now I could see if he was in his teen years acting how he acts but he's just nine now, so just let Lontrell handle it"

"Alright I will. Where's dad?"

"Your dad is out working"

"Oooh have y'all been doing okay?"

"Yes ma'am, planning our wedding"

"Oh wow, I can't wait!!"

"Yea he's very excited about it and so am I"

"I'm happy for y'all, I can't wait. We should all have our weddings together"

"Who- girl nah"

"Um Yea"

"Um no, ain't gone be all that ass shaking at my damn wedding"

"That ain't gone be happening at mine either but I bet you gone be there"

"Of course I am, I'll be there supporting my daughter"

"Well I'd gladly appreciate the support"

"I'm all about it when it comes to my kids"

"Speaking of kids, Lontrell and I might be welcoming a new one into the family soon"

"Oh now Suhan you can do better!"

"Mama no matter what that's still my man"

"I know I know but another baby by him this early? Y'all can't even deal with the one that just came in ya house"

"It gets better with time though mama"

"You're right, you're right. Well I was just calling to check up on you baby, I know y'all already talked it out but I want you and Lontrell to go home and have a conversation like two grown ass people. If he pisses you off and you need someone to talk to again, I'm here babe"

"Okay mama, thank you"

"Alright baby, I love you"

"Kiss my grand babies for me, even L.A."

"Alright I will"

"Alright I'll talk to you later"she said before I hung up.

Until I get ready to go home, I guess I'm just gonna finish packing all of these orders before the week starts.
