《Actions Speak Louder Than Fortune Cookies》90 - The Breeze is Nice

Sebastian and Rylee had gotten into the habit of sleeping naked during vacation, mainly because each night had consisted of them returning back to their hotel suite lustful for one another.

Early Monday morning, when Rylee awoke, bleary eyed, she rolled over about to get out of bed when she let out a small scream and pulled up the sheet to cover her chest.

Sebastian shot up out of his dead sleep, hair every which way, confused, "Wass wrong. Wah happened?" Sebastian pulled at the sheet to make sure he was covered.

Rylee pointed to the open door leading to their grass patio, where a massive deer was standing, staring at them, munching away on a mouthful of grass, fresh from their doorway. Rylee put her hand over her mouth, her laugh echoed across the room.

"Jesus." Sebastian laughed, still half asleep and confused. He grabbed his almost empty water bottle off the bedside table and lobbed it in the general direction of the deer. He wasn't trying to hurt it, just scare it, and luckily succeeded, even though the bottle wasn't even close to hitting it.

"Maybe we shouldn't sleep with the door open anymore." Sebastian said with a laugh, as he ran his fingers through his tousled hair.

"The breeze is so nice though..." Rylee pouted.

"Alright, well, you sleep closest to the door. If you get mauled by a deer, don't say I didn't try." Sebastian laughed, "That would be a good story..." he put up his hands, imagining the pretend headline, "'Sebastian Stan and Rylee Summers naked and mauled by rogue Italian deer.'" Both of them started laughing hard at the thought.

When their laughter died down, Sebastian fully rolled over to look at Rylee, her hazel eyes glistening in the morning light coming in the window.

"Happy anniversary, love." Sebastian whispered, pulling Rylee closer.

"Happy anniversary, Seb." Rylee replied in return, "Oo! I have something for you," she tacked on, patting his chest.

Rylee got out of bed and walked to her suitcase, as Sebastian watched her go, "Is the gift watching you run naked across the room? Because that's perfect, especially since you've got to come back." He sat up against the head board, getting comfortable.

Rylee giggled and rolled her eyes as she turned around with a medium sized box, about a foot across both ways, wrapped in dark blue paper. She walked back to the bed as Sebastian watched her return.

"Thank you, Oh! Another gift? This is too much."

Rylee laughed, smacking his arm as she crawled back into the bed, sitting up next to Sebastian against the headboard, pulling the sheet up over her chest again, mainly to stop distracting Sebastian so he would open his gift.

He ripped off the paper slowly and revealed a plain black box. He raised an eyebrow at Rylee, not having the slightest idea what this could be. He looked back at the box and opened it, seeing a camera with instant film and a white book.

"Oh nice! We were just talking about this!"

He pulled the book from the box and saw the simple cover, which showed a picture of a camera, over the words "The Adventure Challenge: Couples Edition"

They originally saw this book while scrolling through Instagram one day. The book has various scratch off date adventures for couples to complete. They then take a picture during that date and place it inside along with a description of what was done on the date or how it went.

"I bought it the night after we saw it. I couldn't pass it up." Rylee stated proudly.

"Thank you, Ryles. I love it. I can't wait to dive into it." Sebastian said, flipping through the pages. He closed it and set it in his lap, fiddling with the preloaded camera now. He turned it on and held it out, "Say cheese!"

He snapped a picture of the two of them, Rylee smiling big and bright before she realized he leaned over to kiss her cheek for the picture.

The picture popped out of the camera, all black for now as the film slowly developed. After another minute they took a look at it, "Well, that's not going in the book." Rylee laughed.

Sebastian's movement before the picture made the sheet pull down on Rylee, causing her breasts to pop out, loud and proud.

"Guess this ones just for me then," Sebastian winked as he rolled over towards the side table and slipped the picture into his wallet, behind his license.

In the same fell swoop, Sebastian threw his wallet back on the side table and turned back to kiss Rylee.

They kissed for a minute longer and soon it got deeper, tongues meeting slowly, methodically. Soon enough, without any other words, they were lost in each other yet again.

An hour or so later, Sebastian and Rylee were heading out of their suite hand in hand, walking towards the villa's main entrance. Sebastian paused for a moment, stopping at the front desk.

"Buongiorno! We have a reservation to pick up." Sebastian smiled at the woman behind the desk.

"Buongiorno Signor Stan e Signorina Summers! Of course! Let me grab it for you!"

She disappeared for a moment, but they could hear her speaking quickly to someone in Italian. A minute or so later she reappeared with a cute traditional picnic basket.

"You're all setup on the south lawn, as requested." She smiled genuinely. "Is there anything else we can do for you before you head out?"

"Nope, this is perfect. Thank you so much." Sebastian said as he took the basket from her and turned back to Rylee. He offered his arm out to her and she looped hers through his as they left out through the garden gates.

"We've only been here for like a week and this already all feels like a dream." Rylee stated as they walked at a relaxed pace down a brownstone sidewalk, the cloudless sky bright and beautiful, complimenting the grassy hills in the view around them.

Sebastian smiled brightly at Rylee as they continued walking, "I'm glad you're enjoying it. I am too. It's honestly better than I could've ever imagined."

As they continued chatting, they eventually walked around a corner to see a large white blanket splayed across the ground, covered in an array of sitting cushions, an ice bucket, and small lap trays and tables. They were tucked away from any other people around, out of sight, but still had a gorgeous view of Florence below.

"Seb..." Rylee was in awe yet again. "It's just like our first date." Rylee reflected back on their picnic date in Central Park as they walked off the path to take a seat on their picnic blanket. Sebastian immediately sat the basket he was carrying down and opened it, to reveal a bottle of Prosecco.

Sebastian picked their two crystal flutes out of the basket and handed one to Rylee. Sebastian popped the cork out of their bottle, he poured it into her glass and then his.

"You do the honors," Sebastian said as he held onto his glass, waiting.

"Hmm...to another great year." Rylee said as she raised her glass, "Eh minus all the not great things." She chuckled.

Sebastian nodded, and clinked his glass to hers as they took a sip in unison.

He set his glass down on the small table beside him and reached back into the basket, pulling out a delicately put together charcuterie board, consisting a range of meats like prosciutto and soppressata along with cheeses such as pecorino romano and mozzarella, and a fresh loaf of bread. The board also included grapes as well as fresh figs, all of the items being locally sourced from delis and bakeries.

"Wow," was the only word Rylee could get to leave her mouth. Everything looked delicious and amazing, she almost didn't want to disturb or eat any of it because of it.

Sebastian placed the board between them, gesturing for Rylee to go first.

Rylee grab bits at a time as did Sebastian, talking while they ate. Comfortable. Always comfortable. Rylee loved it. It was so easy to just exist together. They didn't have to be doing anything crazy or over the top. They could just be enjoying food together. Or laying together in bed in the dark. It didn't matter. She loved the ease that their relationship entailed.

After they finished picking away at their charcuterie board, Rylee laid back on the blanket, closing her eyes, feeling the warm sun against her skin. It was a perfect day.

Sebastian stayed sitting up, leaning back on his hands, looking down at Rylee. She was so beautiful. He could soak her in all day and never get tired of looking at her. Every gorgeous curve, every line, everything about her. Perfect.

Sebastian took a breath to relax himself for a moment and then spoke.

"Ryles." Sebastian sat up now.

"Hmm?" Rylee hummed questioningly from her laying position, turning her head in his direction, looking into his shining, deep blue eyes.

"You're the most amazing woman I have ever met. You know that? You're so caring, and thoughtful, and kind..." Sebastian had to stop for a moment to collect his thoughts and composure. As he did, Rylee sat up, sitting criss cross in front of him, a look of confusion and almost concern crossing her face. She put her hand on his knee, and he took it into his own hand, squeezing it.

"Since we've been together, you've made me feel more complete, more alive...and you have shown me the true meaning of happiness and compassion. I am a better person with you by my side."

Rylee tilted her head to the side, smile delicately taking over her lips. She rubbed her thumb on the back of his hand. His sweet declaration of love felt so overwhelmingly romantic in this setting.

"There are many ways to be happy in this life, but all I really need is you...When I think about the future, all I see is you."

Rylee's face changed now, in realization. Sebastian kept her hand in his as he repositioned himself onto one knee and reached into his back pocket, pulling out a small, black velvet box.

"This may seem crazy and probably a little bit impulsive. But it's not...not for me anyway. I've known since the minute I met you. Rylee Ann Summers, will you marry me?"

He opened the small delicate box to reveal a gorgeous, simple, 14k white gold diamond ring, surrounded by black velvet cushioning, the ring glistening in the Tuscan sun.

"Oh my god," Rylee gasped, bringing her free hand to cover her mouth, "Sebastian.."

Rylee began to tear up, which in turn, made Sebastian become more emotional, though he tried to regain his composure, letting out a small laugh, "So, is that a yes?"

"Oh my god," Rylee started laughing through her light tears, "Yes! Of course, yes!"

Sebastian took Rylee's left hand that was in his for the last few minutes and quickly slid the glistening ring down on to her finger. As soon as he did, Rylee wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him close and bring him in for a deep kiss.

Sebastian lost his balance and they both tumbled onto the blanket, laughing, Rylee on top of him. She put both her hands on either side of his face and kissed him again as he put his hands on her hips, squeezing them gently.

"I love you," Sebastian whispered quietly.

"Love you more," Rylee whispered back.

"Not possible." Sebastian smiled as he leaned back in to kiss Rylee again.
