Monday rolled in smoothly, and Sebastian had an early start scheduled for the day so Rylee wasn't surprised when she woke up and rolled over to see a note on the bedside table, with Sebastian's handwriting strewn across the page.
Morning love,
I should be back for dinner.
I'll call you on lunch
Love you ❤️
Rylee looked at the clock and saw it was only 9:30 so she decided to just roll back over and sleep a bit longer.
Rylee's phone rang loudly on the side table, waking her up abruptly. Bleary eyed she reached over and tapped her phone. She rolled back on her stomach, arms under her pillow and continued her light sleep.
——————————
"Hello? Ryles?"
It was around noon and Sebastian called Rylee on his lunch, just as promised, but she answered and then didn't say anything.
"Rylee?" Sebastian could hear a light shuffling in the background of the call but couldn't hear Rylee, until a moment later when he heard a light snore, which made a smile cross his lips.
He spoke a little louder now, one last attempt before he hung up and tried to call her again, "Hellooooo!" He waited a moment but the line stayed silent all except for the light snores Rylee was making.
He hung up and tried to call her again. The line rang twice and he heard Rylee finally answer on the other end.
"M'ello?" Rylee answered, obviously still half asleep.
"Hey beautiful," Sebastian said into the phone, still not being able to hold back his smile.
"Hey you, how's your day going?" Rylee replied, sleepy smile crossing her face.
"Pretty good. All the interviews have gone well so far. Surprised you're still asleep."
"Mm not."
"Mhmm...You were two minutes ago when I called and you answered the phone and left me hanging."
"Huh?"
"Don't worry about it," Sebastian laughed to himself, "Anyway, any plans today?"
"Mmm. I'm not sure. I think Alexa wanted to do lunch but I haven't talked to her yet."
"That'll be nice, ugh shoot, I've gotta get going. I'll talk to you later?"
"Yep! Love you Seb."
"Love you Ryles, bye."
After they hung up Rylee went through her missed text messages, seeing a few from Alexa.
💞
Rise and shine bitchhh
It's like 11:30 so I'm assuming you're dead.
Call me when you get up
Rylee rolled her eyes but huffed out a laugh as she clicked Alexa's contact and the phone started ringing.
"Congrats, you're apparently not dead." Alexa laughed.
"Nope, just dead tired. That wine did me in."
"What a lightweight you've become in your old age." Alexa commented with a chuckle.

"Rude. I'll go get lunch without you then."
"Fineeee sorryyyy." Alexa laughed loudly, "I'll meet you at your room in like half an hour?"
"Sounds good, byeee"
"Bye!"
———————————
Rylee was ready far faster than she expected so she scrolled through her phone, and of course, she found an article, screaming her name loud and clear.
Written by Jocelyn Smith
Late yesterday evening, plenty of people enjoyed dinner out at the Openaire greenhouse restaurant, and some of those people were some of our favorites here at E!News!
Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan, both of Marvel fame who are in Los Angeles promoting their new movie Captain America: The Last Mission, which is out next month, were seen walking into Openaire with Rylee Summers, Sebastian Stan's long standing girlfriend and a friend, who may be more?
When they were seen leaving the restaurant, Rylee was grasping onto Sebastian's arm rather tightly, cheeks flushed, as though she had a few too many drinks. This had us here at E!News surprised with all the rumors of Summers being pregnant, but it looks like they may be just that, rumors.
We were also surprised to see Summers' friend have a tight grip on Evans as they left the restaurant as well. Was he just being a gentleman or is there something more between the two. Hmm!

Rylee wanted to laugh and cry when she was done reading. E!News was finally off her back. It was such a relief. But now they were setting their sights on her best friend and that was infuriating.
She heard a knock on her door and slid her phone into her pocket. She walked to the door and laced up her black booties before she stood up straight, took a deep breath, and joined Alexa in the hallway.
She would bring it up to her at lunch.
——————————
Alexa and Rylee sat down across from one another in a quiet booth they found in the back of a small mom and pop diner. The restaurant was quaint and seemed very much like a hole in the wall sort of eatery.
A sweet older woman came to take their orders and quickly scooted away to hand them off to the kitchen. As Rylee stirred her straw around her glass of water, she tried to think of how to bring up the article to Alexa.
"So. Chris and I are going to go public." Alexa said, looking seriously across the table at Rylee, both her hands wrapped around her warm coffee mug.
"Oh wow, that's great! Any reason why?" Rylee asked.
"Chris showed me this article he found last night, and we talked about it for a good while and decided we were ready to just take the dive." Alexa passed over her phone and Rylee saw the same article that she was stressing over not even thirty seconds prior, relief immediately released from her chest and shoulders.

"Oh my god. I was literally just going to bring that article up to you. I'm sorry they're putting a spot light on you two..." Rylee's voice died off, not knowing how Alexa quite felt about the article yet.
Alexa shrugged, acting nonchalant. "I knew it would happen eventually. I'm glad we had as long as we did, but I think I'm ready. I think Chris was honestly ready a while ago, but he's been respecting my worries and feelings."
"He's a great guy." Rylee said as she nodded listening to Alexa speak.
"He really, really is. And honestly Sebastian is too. I know the start of this trip wasn't the best for you two, but you're both so strong together. I swear y'all will be married and have kids in like two years." Alexa laughed.
"Oh my god. Slow down girl. We haven't even been dating a year yet."
"Practically though. I mean a year will be when? May 17th, right? So only a little over two months! Plus you'll be on that romantic vacation during your anniversary!" Alexa wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.
Rylee hadn't even thought about that. The trip Sebastian had planned for them was from May 10th until the 27th. I wonder if he did that on purpose. She felt silly that she hadn't realized it sooner.
It must have showed on her face because Alexa started chuckling, "did you even put two and two together girl?"
Rylee rolled her eyes in the most loving way possible, "No, not exactly."
"So...have you guys had any long term talks?"
Rylee immediately thought back, "No...not exactly..."
Alexa was about to take a sip of her coffee but she stopped before it reached her lips and she set it down, looking over at Rylee. "What does 'not exactly' mean?"
"I never mentioned it to Sebastian, and I'm guessing he doesn't even remember it...but after he got his leg reset, he was feeling pretty good on some morphine and, out of the blue, he was saying how much he loved me and that he would 'marry the shit out of me someday'..."
Alexa sat back against the booth, "Wow. Does the phrase 'Drunk words are sober thoughts' still apply if you're high off your ass on morphine?" She paused for a moment thoughtfully, "I personally think so," she replied to her own question.
As Alexa finished her sentence, their waitress arrived back at their table with their food and the topic seemed to die off, though it hovered in the back of Rylee's mind.
——————————
After they finished eating, they made their way out onto the street and started walking down the block, enjoying the LA breeze.
It was bizarre to Rylee. She grew up and lived in Pennsylvania and New York. If she was in NYC right now, she would be bundled head to toe, praying there wouldn't be snow and slush outside, but now she was walking the LA street in jeans and a cropped t-shirt. Comfortable.
"So," Alexa said, her auburn ponytail gently blowing in the breeze as she turned to look at Rylee as they walked, "any birthday plans?"
Rylee hadn't even thought about it. She was so excited to get out here to LA to see Sebastian that she completely forgot her birthday was this upcoming Thursday, the day before they head back to New York while Chris and Sebastian finish out their press tour.
"I honestly forgot. Sheesh. Don't the boys have interviews all week?"
"Umm. I think so." Alexa shrugged.
"Well, maybe we could all do a night in one of these nights. Watch movies or something."
"Yeah, that sounds nice." Alexa smiled back.
The girls continued chatting on their way down the block towards the hotel. They hadn't realized how much time they killed walking around the city. When they got back, they saw a group of people huddled together outside the hotel's front doors and their boyfriends were smack dab in the middle of it all.
They walked to the side and hopped up onto a cement wall to wait for them. It was always nice to watch them interact with fans.
After a few minutes the crowd seemed to be dying down a bit. The girls could hear Sebastian and Chris saying their goodbyes and the crowd parted as they walked towards them.
"Hey you," Sebastian said with a tired smile. He slowly closed the distance between him and Rylee, his boot still slowing him down a bit. He eventually wrapped Rylee in his arms, and buried his face into her neck and hair, taking in the smell of her strawberry shampoo.
Rylee noticed that Chris had done pretty much the same with Alexa. She was so happy for her best friend. That they could finally be themselves out in public and not worry about what anyone had to say.
Sebastian helped Rylee hop down off the low cement wall while Chris practically lifted Alexa off of it, making her laugh as he set her down. They all walked inside together and all went to Sebastian and Rylee's room to plan their evening.
