《Snatched》Chapter 47

"How stupid can you be?" you groaned leaning back into the chair you were still tied to "There were literally so many people you could have kidnaped, there was literally an entire class of traumatized children to chose from, and you chose Katsuki Bakugo!?"
If you could, you would have slammed your head against the wall out of pure frustration, not only did they kidnap someone who would never be a villain because of unimaginable stubbornness, they kidnapped your friend. That's where you drew the line.
"Here's the deal my friends, you're going to let Katsuki go, I'll chill here for a while if you want but your cause is lost on him."
The room was silent for a moment as the villains just stared at you. Dabi's shoulders tensed up, he wasn't facing you but you could tell that wasn't a good thing for you to say. A chill went down your spin as Shigaraki slowly turned to face you.
"You really think you have any power here Y/n?" Shigaraki snarled "You are a prisoner do not forget that, I could end you with a touch! Do not get cocky, your life depends on it, we are villains after all."
...
You blinked at him "Well yeah I knew that, contrary to popular belief I do, in fact, have more than one brain cell."
This hoe really thinks I'm an idiot
"If you were going to kill me, you would have done it already, I know what's going on here. Best case scenario you would have had two powerful children on your side, from UA which would have made the school and all heroes look bad. Worst case, which is what you get to deal with, you would have kidnapped two UA students from right under the teachers noses which would really suck for heroes."
...
"Shiggy how does she know that!?" Toga whisper yelled
"Shut up!" Shigaraki growled, obviously you were right and he was not happy about it. He stood up violently and began reaching towards you only for Dabi to quickly step in front of you.
You glared at the two of them "Woah, woah , woah Shiggy, let's keep our hands to ourselves."
Dabi turned around finally facing you "You are going to get yourself killed! What the hell is wrong with you!" he whispered
"A lot of things actually, but we don't have time to unpack all of that." you frowned at Dabi, you did not need his protection "Anyways, now that we're all on the same page if your not going to let Katsuki go, just bring him in here instead."
...
"Why on earth would we do that, you may know what's going on but that doesn't change a thing. You have here." Shigaraki spat his voice dripping with malice "."
You had to admit, you were scared. You tried to hide your fear but the truth was you had never been in such a dangerous situation before, the only person you could rely on was yourself. There was a serious chance you wouldn't make it out alive... but, you had to save Katuski. He didn't deserve to be here and you were going to get him out not matter what it took.
Okay, plan. I need a plan. I need to get Katsuki in here before I can do anything else. He's on the other side of the wall and I know that he can hear me if I yell, maybe if he makes enough of a commotion they would have to bring him in here to watch him. Ugh, thinking is hard I feel like I'm being tortured... oh that's an idea.

You took in a deep breath, winked at Shiggy who still looked like he was about to pounce on you.
And screamed at the top of your lungs.
It sounded like you were having the life drained out of you.
Perfect
Dabi whipped around in shock and slapped a hand over your mouth again, muffling your shriek. But the damage was done. The wall behind you began to shake as it someone was repeatedly hitting it and you could faintly hear muffled yells.
Thank god that worked, It would have been so embarrassing if it didn't.
All the villains in the room and jumped at your sudden action and were now staring at you like you were crazy. You glared up at Dabi and bit his hand, he muffled a few curses as he pulled it away from your mouth.
"What do you think will happen first," you cooed, the smile you were trying to hold on your face fell, you were done with being nice to villains you were trying to be a hero after all "Your base being found or the wall breaking down?" Another huge bang shook the wall "Right now Katsuki thinks I'm being tortured and he's not going to stop until he knows I'm alright. You can try to sedate him but he'll just go at it again when he wakes up and you cant keep him asleep forever."
The villains were silent
You scowled at Shigaraki "You kidnapped the wrong people, bitch. Katsuki is a ticking time bomb and I refuse to take shit from adult toddlers like you, especially when it comes to my friends."
Every person in the room was stunned, your personality had done a full 180.
"Oh my Shigaraki," you grinned "."
Class 1A gathered around Izuku's bed, they had all gone to check on him after he woke up.
"I was so close," he muttered "They were right there and I couldn't save them, my body just wouldn't move... and now Y/n and Kacchan are gone." he looked absolutely defeated, his body was covered in injuries and he looked as if he haven't slept in days.
"Alright then it's simple," Krishima stated, his eyes blood shot from lack of sleep "We just go get them."
"We have to leave this to the professionals!" Iida cut in angrily "It's not the right time for us to get involved! Idiots!"
"Mabey!" Kirishima blurted out, matching Iida's anger "But all I know is that at camp I couldn't do anything! I heard my friends were targeted and I just stood by helpless! So if I do nothing now how am I supposed to call myself a hero or a man!?"
Nobody spoke, most of them felt the same way. Most of the class had been unharmed but they all knew what had happened at the camp. Aizawa told them about Bakugo first and then a few days later Y/n, everyone took it hard.
"So let me get this right," Mina broke the silence "You're going to get Momo to make another receiver and use it to track the bad guys and then try to save Y/n and Bakugo all by yourselves?"
"Yes, we have to. Even though the villains set out to kill us they took Bakugo and Y/n without killing either of them, but that doesn't mean they wont kill them eventually." Kirishima winced at the last part "That's what Todoroki thinks anyways."
"You talked to Todoroki?" Mina asked "I though he wasn't talking to anyone."

"He wasn't, after he heard about Y/n he sort of shut down but when I mentioned getting her back he opened up. He's coming with me."
"Have you lost your minds!?" Iida exclaimed jerking towards Kirishima
"Hey! Calm down." Shoji cut in "I get how frustrated Kirishima is, and how Todoroki must feel after watching Y/n be taken right in front of him. I'm frustrated too, I was right there, so close... I could have..." he trailed off for a moment before continuing "but, we can't let our emotions get the best of us. Right?"
The class didn't say anything.
"Uhm," Aoyama mumbled nervously "We should just leave this to All Might. Mr. Aizawa only gave us permission to fight and use our quirks at the training camp."
"Aoyama is correct." Tokoyami addressed the class "Even so, I know how much of the damage I am responsible for, if it wasn't for me and Dark Shadow Y/n would have stayed away and been safe." his voice broke "So I can't talk."
Kirishima looked enraged "You guys-"
"Look," Tsu interrupted "We're all shocked that Y/n and Bakugo were taken from us, but we have to be rational, I know Y/n would want that. It doesn't matter how noble your intentions, if you go out there trying to find bad guys, knowing you're breaking the rules than you're acting like villains, not heroes. Also, think about Y/n, I know you want to save her and Bakugo but would she really want to throwing yourselves into danger to save her? She'd probably hate herself if anything happened to you, are you going to do that to her?"
Kirishima looked down "I understand that but, imagine the pain she could be in right now."
"And you'll never believe what she said!" you mimicked a high pitched voice "It's doesn't mater what you're quirk is if you can't even use it properly."
"The audacity!" Twice gasped
"Give me a name and address and she'll be gone in a week." Toga giggled
"That's not even the worst part! Then she literally got her annoying ass up and- Kat, stop thrashing you're going to hurt yourself."
You glared at the boy beside you who hadn't stopped struggling in his confines since he was brought into the room. He was much more tied up that you, his hands were chained together and he had a mussel on which you couldn't look at for long, it reminded you of the sports festival. He glared right back at you, he was clearly unhappy with his situation and the fact you were fine with it.
"You must continue," Compress insisted "We can always sedate him if he's being... problematic."
"No it's fine, anyways continuing..."
You didn't know how it had happed but you had a few of the villains in a semi-circle around you, who you were telling stories about your middle school years. Dabi ensured that none of them were too close, which annoyed you. He would barely look at you, just stand there menacingly, it was hard to believe he used to be one of your best friends. One thing you had learned was that the villains weren't a bad audience or really bad people from what you could tell.
You really pitied them, they seem to have been caught up in something bigger than they can comprehend. You wished you could help them but that wasn't your main concern. As much fun as you were having, you were stalling for time, you couldn't figure out a way to get you and Katsuki out.
"So she got up and proceeded to walk over to me and try and slap me!"
"No!" Twice and Toga gasped
"Of course her bitch ass missed because she didn't seem to understand that I could move away."
"Did you pummel her!?" Toga asked excitedly
"No, she was just insecure so I left it but Katsuki over there," you gestured to him with your head "Found out about it and threated to, and I quote "Blow her fucking loser face off if she ever tried something like that again.""
Katsuki let out a snort through his mussel, he was obviously proud of that event.
Shigaraki let out a groan. He did not approve of your story circle but as it turns out there isn't much to do in the villains secret base so he allowed it, with some protest.
"Would you just act like a normal kid whose been kidnapped and stop talking, it's been hours. I don't think I can take anymore of this."
"What, have I exceeded your expectations Shiggy?" you jeered
"Yes, in more ways that one Y/n." he groaned
He had really given up on trying to seem scary, so had most of the other villains. Many of them were just kids after all and being scary all the time was hard.
Suddenly the TV turned on, you looked over to Kugogiri who held the remote "It's time."
You looked back to the TV and saw what looked like a press conference. The press were interviewing U.A. The camera panned to the main table and you saw who was sitting there.
Shota!
"And what of the two students who were kidnapped," a reporters voice asked "Katsuki Bakugo enrolled in UA with high marks and went ono win the sports festival but on many occasions has shown extreme violent tendencies. What if the villains kidnapped him because of that violence, they could be trying to convince him to join them right now."
You stiffened that could not be more true. You glanced over to Katsuki who was staring intently at the TV.
He should not be watching this...
"As his teacher I take full responsibility for his actions." Aizawa responded coolly but you could hear in his voice that he was fuming "But it should be known his violence was a show of strength and nothing more, he out of everyone is trying the hardest to become the number one hero and nothing will change that."
You watched Katsuki nod slightly to himself, Aizawa must have been right.
"And what of L/n?" the reporter asked
The sound of you name drew you attention back to the TV just as your uncle stiffened at the sound of it as well.
"She got into UA off of recommendations and won third place in the sports festival. She was loved by the audience and showed a tremendous amount of skill. Her potential as a pro hero is unmatched. Do you think the villains knew that? Why else would they have kidnapped her as well. Or is it something else, what does her absence mean for your students. During the sports festival we all saw how she interacted with her classmates, they seem to really care for her. How are they doing now that she's gone?"
Aizawa was silent for a moment, you could see how hard it was for him to be talking about how his students, and his family, were taken. He couldn't lie either, if he did the reporter and people with lie detecting quirks would know and that would be awful for the school. Your stomach twisted with guilt. If only you could have saved Katsuki, then this wouldn't be happening.
"The students..." Aizawa began "Are struggling, as you would expect them to if their friends were taken."
"That wasn't what I was asking," the reporter cut in, he knew what he was doing "How did the loss of Y/n effect the students?"
Aizawa looked like he was going to snap the reporter's neck but still responded "She was close to many of the students so a few of them have been having... difficulties with her absence."
Difficulties?
"Care to elaborate Erasure?"
"No," Aizawa responded sharply "That would be violating the privacy of the students."
You stopped listening to the TV, you had been trying not to think about your friends. You didn't want to get worried and stop being able to think clearly. But they were obviously suffering for whatever reason.
I really miss them. I hope everyone got out okay, Izuku had some pretty bad injuries and Kota looked terrified when we left him with Shota. I can't believe I let this happen.
You glanced over at Katsuki who was still staring intently at the TV
I wonder how Shoto's doing, I don't think he was hurt to badly but he already has a lot of trauma... at least he's not here, it's better that way.
You suddenly felt eyes burning into the side of your head, you slowly looked over to see who it was, trying not to attract any attention. You were met with bright blue eyes and you stared right back. He looked away.
This bitch.
You continued to starring Dabi down to assert your dominance. He could tell you were looking at him but decided to stare at the extremely interesting wall instead of you. He looked a lot older than the last time you saw him, and he'd died his hair black, it didn't look half bad. His scars were a lot worse though, he was almost unrecognizable. Your Touya really was gone. You were too focused on him to notice anything going on around you until someone grabbed your shoulder.
"Yeah?" you looked away from Dabi "Oh hey Kat what's up...wait."
Katsuki was standing up beside you looking extremely irked and Twice was untying your bonds.
"Now, I'm not exactly sure how this whole kidnapping thing works but I don't think you're supposed to untie us."
"Could you pay attention for once dumbass." Katsuki groaned
"I mean I could but why would I want to." you grinned "That said, uhm what's going on"
"The other TV said to untie us." Katsuki sighed, he was obviously tired which was probably why he wasn't yelling.
"The TV." you deadpanned "Well I have no further questions."
Twice finished untying you "Shigarkai over there said it was his father, he just told us to do it. We don't know why told he us to untie you. You both have to stand up, that's what he said."
"At least I can move now..." you looked down at your bandaged ankles "Kat could you-"
He already had his arm around your waist and was pulling you up. You were able to stand but you leaned on him as support and he kept his arm around you so you didn't fall. You were fully aware the only reason he wasn't trying his hardest to escape was because of you. You could barely stand and he wouldn't leave you behind.
"You're such and idiot." he mumbled clutching you tightly
"I'm aware." you smiled leaning into his chest, you were too tired to put in the effort to stand up strait.
You could feel tears pricking at you eyes. You so were close to Katsuki, you could've helped him escape if you weren't so injured. You were starting to think you wouldn't be able to get out of alive. You could hear Katsuki's heartbeat, one that you might not ever hear again.
The villains had all been in a group trying to figure out what was happening but all froze when there was a knock on the door.
"Pizza delivery!" someone yelled from outside.
...
"Oh thank god I'm so hungry-"

8 149Spirits of Eternity(A cultivation story based on spirits)
There are many after Liv, for what she can do. Spirits flock to her and help her, while the rest of the world captures them and uses their power with abandon. Liv set forth to find the truth behind her parents’ death, after their final message. After hearing their voice, Liv was offered a decision. Live safely, or be the best. Just like someone from the past, Liv decided to step towards strength. The magic system in this world is based on a few types of energy: Note(for Songs), Will(for Thought), Mana(for ordinary magic, because I felt like it), what is referred to as 'energy' here(for talking to spirits), and Dominion(for Aura). This is still a work in progress. Any suggestions are welcomed. This and my other work, Monsters as Men, are set in the same world. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
