"Remember what I said! We're not serving your food anymore!" Pixie-bob exclaimed "If you guys want to eat, you'll have to make your own meals starting with curry!"

You looked at the piles of ingredients on the tables and then at all of the students slumping exhaustedly.

"We aren't in great condition to handle dangerous things. If someone gets caught on fire or accidentally chops off a finger, I'm calling it right now."

"Y/n don't be so pessimistic," Tenya shook his head. "An important part of saving someone and recovering from a disaster is providing for their physical needs as well as spiritual. This is a great opportunity! Let's make the most delicious curry in the word everyone!"

How does he have enough energy to hype people up?

You were all put into groups and sent to work.

"I would like to know why we need so many fucking potatoes." you huffed chucking another peeled potato into a pot.

"Don't abuse the poor potatoes Y/n!" Denki panicked over the slightly mushed food. "They won't taste good in a curry if they're mashed!"

"You can't complain, how many have you peeled?" you aggressively pointed at him with a peeler in your hand.

He smiled sheepishly "Three."

You were about to yell at him, but you stopped yourself "Huh, that's three more than I thought."

"Hey-"

"Y/n, what's up with you, you're kind of grumpy." Sero cut in "I take it you didn't have fun training."

You studied him for a moment, trying to come up with the most believable lie. You had a million things that were contributing to your foul mood but you weren't going to tell anyone about most of them.

Might as well tell him part of the truth.

"Everyone was being weird and acting off today, even Aizawa. I don't know why and I don't intend to ask, so I'll just take it out on these potatoes."

Sero and Denki shared a look that you couldn't figure out "I think it's best to just leave it for now, I'm sure it will work itself out." Sero assured you

"How can you say that if you don't even know what's going on."

"Oh we have a pretty good idea." Denki mumbled

"What-"

"Hey Y/n! Could you help us light these fires?" Mina called gesturing for you to come over

You glanced at Denki before going over to help.

Not them too.

You and Shoto lit all the fires using his quirk. You stayed decently far away from him, after what happened earlier you just felt off.

"Ew Kirishima put down that spider!" Someone yelled

Both you and Shoto whipped your heads towards where the sound was coming from. Sure enough, Kirishima held a huge spider in his hand and was walking in your direction.

Kirishima waved with his non spider hand "Hey Y/n! Come check this out!"

"Nope I'm good!"

He walked closer and held it out to you "Isn't it cool!"

You bolted, running backwards and stumbling over a tree root.

"GEeeeet awAAAYYYY from MMMEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

"What it's just a spider... Y/n are you afraid of spiders?"

"Don't look at me like that so is Shoto!" You ran and hid behind said boy who looked like he would bolt at the slightest movement of the creepy crawly.

You and Shoto had shared a distaste for spiders ever since one had jumped on his face when you were younger. You had been playing outside and sat under a tree, apparently in a prime spider jumping area.

Kirishima shook the spider who was clinging onto his hand and started inching towards you. The people around you had also taken notice of your situation.

"Aw come on you two is juwst a teewny tiwnny wittle spiwder." Mina teased

The spider suddenly jolted and started crawling up Kirishima's arm, he quickly shook it off and it fell to the ground.

Shoto didn't waste a second, he picked you up by the waist and before you could take a breath to protest you were already halfway across your makeshift cafeteria.

You blinked as Shoto put you down.

"Well that was certainly unexpected."

You could feel everyone's eyes on you so you looked around, all the girls looked shocked as well as the people from class 1-B, but what really caught your eye was the expressions of the boys in your class.

They all looked angry, angry and... jealous?

What the fuck am I thinking, they aren't jealous I'm sure they're just upset we're not helping out.

You looked at Shoto who was having an intense stare off with Katsuki and poked him on the arm to get his attention. He saved you from certain death.

"Thanks Sho."

He smiled.

You finished making your dinner and everyone started scarfing it down.

"This tastes so bad." you muttered in-between mouthfuls

"But I'm just so hungry!" Kirishima finished for you

You continued to inhale your food when you saw Izuku walking off into the forest alone.

You got up, unnoticed by your friends who were too focused on their food, and caught up to him.

"Where are you going?"

He jumped and spun around, letting out a sigh of relief when he saw you.

"You scared me Y/n!"

"I am terrifying, but really, why are you walking around the forest alone?"

"I'm um, going to bring Kota some dinner, I saw him leave this way without eating... and I also wanted to talk to him about his parents."

Hearing Izuku mention Kota's parents set off alarms in your head telling you to back the fuck up and get away from that situation.

"I should probably head back but Izuku... you've got to help him. He's hurting on the inside, more than you can imagine. His hatred for heroes is just a front to help him cope, he needs someone to reach him and pull him out of his head."

Izuku smiled lightly "You really want to help everyone Y/n, even if you can't do it in person."

"What? I-um well..."

"It's okay, I get it. There must be something about his past that makes you uncomfortable but I won't pry if you don't want to talk about it. I don't know what you're going through even though I've known you forever, you don't really talk about your emotions much Y/n. Just know I'm here if you need someone."

He seemed so confident in what he was saying didn't stutter or get flustered. You smiled and nodded letting him go back to his search for Kota.

After he left your sight you stayed in the forest for a few more minutes.

Maybe I should talk to someone... But nobody wants to be friends with someone who's got my issues... I'm not losing anyone else.

You shook your head to clear out your negative thoughts and walked back to the camp.

"Y/n, wake up we have to get dressed now."

You slowly opened your eyes and saw Momo beside you shaking you awake.

"Are you alright? You look pale."

That was the last time I saw him... why am I remembering that now.

"Y/n?"

"Oh, yep I'm fine. Just a dream."

"Fumikage? Are you in here?" you slowly walked into the dark cave that your teacher told you to go into to find your next training partner.

"Stay back! Dark Shadow is out of control!" Fumikage yelled from the depths of the darkness

"He is? But he's usually so passive... Fumikage? Are you okay?"

You were told you were supposed to help your friend figure out how to control his quirk rather than you using it. You were all for not doing any physical training, so you wanted to help him while you had the chance.

You walked farther into the cave looking for your friend. You finally found him hunched over on the ground with a huge version of Dark Shadow running rampant around the cave.

"Well that's not something you see every day."

When he heard your voice Dark Shadow turned to you and shot in your direction, pulling Fumikage behind him.

"Ohhhhhh shit." you ran backwards not looking where you were going

"You have to restrain me!" Fumikage managed

"The only way I can do that is knocking you out and that's a no from me!" You yelled back stumbling over the ground.

You weren't about to knock him out until it was absolutely necessary, you could handle a few bruises and scrapes from Dark Shadow if you needed to, but you wanted to see if Fumikage could stop on his own.

Fumikage's best effort didn't stop Dark Shadow from continuing to come towards you at breakneck speed.

You would have been fine but you tripped over a rock causing you to fall to the ground.

You put your arms up to shield your face just as Dark Shadow ran into you.

"Y/n!" Dark Shadow exclaimed, clinging to your side.

"Huh?" you and Fumikage stared blankly at his quirk who was hugging you tightly

"Are you kids okay?" Ragdoll asked jogging up to you "I heard yelling."

You looked around, you hadn't even noticed you had run out of the cave and were now in broad daylight.

"I think so." you looked to Fumikage who nodded to confirm your statement.

"Okay then! Be careful we don't want any injuries!" She glanced at Dark Shadow before walking off.

"What an interesting revelation. Come Y/n, we must descend back into darkness."

"That's an interesting way to say 'back into the cave' but okay, descending into darkness we go."

"Shota I want to talk to you about your students." Ragdoll walked up to the teacher of class 1-A.

"What, did one of them do something stupid again?"

"Not this time! It's something else..."

"Oh."

"You know how my quirk Search gives me the ability to know the location and weak points of up to 100 people?"

"Yes."

"I have noticed a common weak point among the students in your class, Y/n L/n."

Shota froze at the mention of his niece but then sighed "I've seen that as well, she seems to be the only one who doesn't realize."

Ragdoll giggled "She is kind of oblivious isn't she, even us Pussycats have made bets about who she'll end up with first, I've got my money on Todoroki."

"That's not very professional of you." he rubbed his eyes "I saw them get to close yesterday and acted up, but I suppose I should just let her handle herself."

"Yep! She seems to be working things out fine."

The two pros made eye contact and then chuckled.

"Good one."
