You lay on Shoto's shoulder while he combed through your hair with his hand.

"He was really terrifying Sho, I thought I was going to die right there in front of his crusty ass face."

"I'm sorry I wasn't there."

"No it's not your fault I should have been more careful."

You had spent the time after your encounter with Tomura trying not to have a breakdown. You could have died and been the cause of many more people's deaths and on top of that he was deranged and horrifying.

"He said I would make a good villain, I thought I was over that whole thing but it hit me hard."

You sniffled, you had of course been crying. No matter how good you were at staying calm in dangerous situations or what high school you were in you were still just a teenager.

"I just..." You stopped to take a breath, Shoto tightened the arm he had around your waist "I thought I would be better."

You could feel another round of tears coming on.

"In the battle against Stain, and with Tomura, I keep doing things wrong. I kept messing up and people got hurt and Tomura got away. I don't understand why I can't do better, why I still get so scared."

Suddenly your phone rang, making you jump. You whipped your face with your sleeve and answered the phone to a very excited sounding Mina.

"Hey Y/n! Us girls were thinking it would be fun to use the school pool before we go to the training camp this summer! Want to come?"

"I don't know, I think I'd better just hang back."

"Why...Y/n have you been crying?"

You quickly cleared your throat.

"What no! Sure I would love to go to the pool with you guys! Just text me the time and date!"

"... okay, if you're sure."

"Of course!"

"Alright then, see you tomorrow."

"Bye!"

You hung up and rubbed your red eyes.

"Don't ever do that to me." Shoto said

"What?"

"Pretend like you're okay when you have been crying."

You blinked at him, you had never really thought anyone would be bothered by it.

"I can't make any promises but okay... do you want to watch Shrek?"

"Which one is that?"

"The one with our green king and the donkey."

"If you'd like."

You smiled knowing he hated Shrek but was going to watch it for you, and started playing it.

If I want to get better then I'll have to train hard at camp, I should have bought those stilettos.

You sighed, you didn't want to think about your problems anymore, you'd rather watch an Ogre and a donkey going on a quest.

You wrapped your arms around Shoto and lay on his chest, an oldy comfortable position.

He put an arm around your shoulder and suddenly your chest felt warm and you could feel your heartbeat speeding up.

I didn't know I loved Shrek this much.

You could hear your heart beating a lot faster than you thought it was, so you lifted your head up

Oh it's Shoto. He must really like Shrek too, a day of revelations.

You grabbed your bag and your keys and began your walk to school to meet your girl friends at the UA pool.

You were excited to finally take a break from training, even though you had been off school for a few days, all anyone was doing was training. You had gone on runs with Tenya and done weight training with Kirishima and Katsuki. You had also met up with a few of your classmates to spar.

No training today, just relaxing.

You made it to UA in no time and met all the girls in the locker rooms.

"Hey Y/n, ready for a pool day!" Ochaco greeted you when you walked in

"Of course! Wait why are you wearing a school bathing suit?"

"We saw Mineta listening to us when we were talking about meeting up here, better safe than sorry." Jiro handed you one of the modest suits which you had no complaints about, you weren't trying to impress anyone.

You got changed and you all walked outside to the pool.

"I can't believe I've never been here before! It's so nice!" Hagakure squealed

"Tsu and I did some training here before the sports festival, here's some advice you guys, never challenge Tsu to a race in water. She will crush you." you shuddered remembering how many times you'd asked for a rematch only to be beaten over and over.

Tsu smiled "You almost had me once Y/n."

"Once."

The girls giggled but then you heard voices coming from the changing rooms.

"Wait did someone else ask to use the pool today too?" Momo asked

Jiro walked around to see who it was "I thought we were the only ones... oh no."

"What?"

"It's the boys."

The boys from your class all walked out onto the pool deck, also wearing the school bathing suits. However theirs didn't have a top half.

Your eyes went wide and you immediately felt your face heating up.

Holly shit they're so muscular... and hot.

You suddenly yeeted yourself into the water.

What the hell are you thinking Y/n!? Those are your friends!

You swam to the surface and flipped your hair out of your face grinning at the shocked faces of your friends who had just been splashed by your sudden dive.

"Let's play volleyball."

The boys, for some reason, had reserved their half of the pool for endurance training, so while you were destroying your friends at volleyball, they were swimming laps.

You couldn't stop yourself from 'accidentally' sending quick glances their way, you told yourself you were just observing their training regimen for future use.

I can't help it if I want to watch them for educational purposes... yep education.

"Y/n your ball!"

"Hu-fuck!"

The volleyball hit you right in the face.

"I'm so sorry I should have called it sooner!" Momo apologized

"It's my fault, I wasn't paying attention." you waved off her attempts to look at your red forehead.

"Yeah, Y/n was too busy eyeing up the boys." Hagakure giggled

"Wha-nooooo."

"Y/n your face is redder than Kirishima's hair! Admit it you're staring." Mina teased

You splashed her "I was simply observing their training."

"Are you sure you weren't observing something else?" Ochaco elbowed you

"I don't know what you're talking about."

Mina smirked "So you would care if I, say, asked them?"

"What are yo-"

Mina jumped up and down in the air waving her arms.

"Hey guys! Y/n says she wasn't but we think she was star-ummf."

You jumped on her shoulders pushing her under the water.

"Sorry! Mina just got too much sun toda-fuck!"

Mina yanked your leg from under the water, pulling you down.

"No I'm fine! Anyway was Y/n starin-!

"Someone call a teacher I think Mina's hallucinatin-"

"Y/n wants you to know she thinks you're all really ho-

"Don't mind her she's just gone insan-

"Stop it you two!"

Momo grabbed you both and got Tsu to lift you out of the pool with her tongue so you could cough up the water you'd inhaled.

All the boys had stopped what they were doing to watch your performance.

"Are you guys okay!" Tenya asked

"Yep! Sorry for that Mina was trying to kill me!"

"I was not! Guys I was trying to tell you that Y/n-"

You tackled her back into the pool.

Momo then made Mina promise not to say anything if you didn't try to drown her again.

You got out of the pool for a while to take a break and went over to talk to the boys.

"Are you sure you're okay Y/n? You looked pretty stressed back there." Izuku asked, handing you a bottle of water.

"Yeah I'm fine there was just a misunderstanding." you glared at Mina who just winked back at you.

"What was Ashido saying?"

"Nothing..."

"Yeah, what was so important that you couldn't risk us knowing?" Denki appeared out of nowhere

"How I plan to murder you if you keep asking stuid questions." you flicked him of the forehead

"Haha very funny Y/n."

"Well what do girls talk about?" Sero came up to your group.

"I don't know... Makeup, shopping-"

"Forgive me if I'm wrong, but are you stereotyping girls Deki? Because if you are I'll have you know I can snap your neck just as efficiently as any boy can."

"Boys!" Denki exclaimed loudly

"What are you guys talking about?" Kirishima asked causing a few people to look your way

Denki grinned evilly "Y/n likes someone and she doesn't want us to know who it is!"

It felt as if time stood still for a moment, and then everyone's heads slowly turned to you at the same time.

"... I am very uncomfortable with the energy we've created in the studio today."

Mina gasped loudly "That's why you were stari... I mean nothing... but that makes so much sense! Who is it?"

"Nobody, I don't know where Denki got that idea."

"Suuuure, now come on!"

Mina grabbed your arm and pulled you away from the boys, the other girls joined you to see what was happening.

"So Y/n! Who is it?" Hagakure bubbled "You can tell us they won't hear."

"I don't like anyone that way."

"If she says she doesn't, we should leave her alone." Tsu commented

"We really shouldn't be prying in the first place." Agreed Momo

"Fine... but are you sure there's nobody who your heart beats fast around, or who makes you feel happier than you can explain, or who makes you blush if you get too close or maybe someone who you can't stop looking at?" Mina raised her eyebrows

Wait... it can't be...

"Shrek?"

The girls deadpanned.

"She's a lot cause, Y/n you can be forever alone."

They walked back to where everyone was waiting expectantly for some news, but Mina just sighed and shook her head.

To your surprise all the boys looked really disappointed.

What were they expecting? It's not like I've experienced anything Mina described... except for that one time... and that other time... that one too... wait.

"Hey Y/n! We're going to have a competition to see who can swim fifty meters the fastest, would you like to help judge?" Tenya asked walking up to you

"Yeah sure... hey Tenya... can I see your hand?"

"What for?"

"I just want to try something."

He held out his hand and you grabbed it, intertwining your fingers.

"What are you-!"

"Shush I'm testing a theory."

After just a few seconds of holding his hand you felt our heart rate speed up and your face start to feel warm.

You yanked your hand away and the feeling dissipated.

"What the fuck is wrong with me... thanks anyway Tenya... Tenya?"

You looked up at him and saw that he was frozen in place and blushing like crazy.

"Are you okay?"

"I, um.. yes...I, you..."

"Guys I think I broke him."

After you pushed him back to the other side of the pool where everyone was, Tenya calmed down and the race began. You would have participated but this was your day off.

Unsurprisingly, the people who won their matches used their quirks, Shoto and Katsuki didn't even touch the water and Izuku used his new green lighting thing.

"Alright everyone this is our last race, and it will determine the person who can, not swim apparently, but travel across a fifty meter pool the fastest! Everyone understand?"

"Yes." Shoto nodded

Izuku gave you a thumbs up "Got it."

"Listen up scar face you'd better not hold back like you did in the sports festival" Katsuki demanded "Both of you better fight to win!"

"Thank you for that Kat but that's the whole idea of a race."

He glared at you and then the tree competitors positioned themselves on the diving blocks.

Iida blew his whistle to get everyone's attention. "On your marks, get set, go!"

All three of the boys jumped into the air and then fell straight down into the water.

"It's five pm, your authorized time in the poll is over." Shota walked onto the deck with his quirk activated.

After some complaining and whining everyone got changed and started heading home.

Today was weird... I don't know what to think. They are all my friends so I can't like them like that... but that weird feeling I get sounds just like what Mina was talking about.

You ran a hand through your damp hair trying to sort out your thoughts as you got to your apartment.

You loved all of your friends but where was the line between friendship and something more.

It's not like any of them like me anyway so I don't even have a chance.

You hopped in the shower to wash off the chlorine from the pool.

But what if I do like them like that, is it wrong to like more than one person at once?

Your shampoo bottle slipped out of your hand and crushed your toe.

"Mother fucking-mmmmmm!"

Ugh this is too hard, I'll just ignore it... at least until after the training camp.

Yeah that will be easy
