"KKKKKAAAATTTTSSSSUUUUUKIIIIII!" you ran to catch up to the blond boy who was walking just ahead of you.

"What the fuck do you want extra!" he glared at you not waiting for you to catch your breath and continued to move forward.

"Let's walk to school together, we do live on the same street and the only reason that I didn't ask yesterday was because I was walking with Shoto."

"Why the hell would I want to walk with you! Go the fuck away!" Katsuki yelled in your face.

"Cool, let's go." you were used to his outbursts and bitchy attitude. Over the time you've know him you learned it's best to just ignore it.

Once you had caught your breath, you decided to start up a conversation.

"Are you exited for today? We are supposed to be starting hero basic training this afternoon."

At first you didn't get a response but you just waited, knowing that Katsuki would be too interested in any hero stuff not to pry for more information. You were probably one of the only people who knew how to keep up a conversation with him.

"Who fucking told you that." he responded without yelling this time

"Did you honestly not read through the schedule? Careful Kat, I might finally pull ahead of you in grades this year."

You and Katsuki always competed for best grades, even when you went to different middle schools, you still did the same exams so you would compare scores. At the moment you were tied for most wins.

"Watch your mouth extra, your going to be eating those words after we get started."

Yes! He is finally not screaming at me anymore. I honestly thought I would take a lot longer before he got used to me again. Aww I guess he really missed me.

I'm still going to murder him during training though.

You smiled and continued to try and make small talk occasionally getting yelled at and only receiving a few threats.

By the time you got to school it was almost like he hadn't ignored you for three weeks and the two of you were making easy conversation about the pro heroes on the news that morning.

When you got to class you parted ways and you went to sit down by Shoto.

"Did you get to school okay." he asked eyeing Bakugo from across the room.

"I mean I'm here am I not? But, since I can tell you are wondering, yes I walked with Kasuki."

He made a weird face but before you could ask about it, Present Mic came in and stated yelling abut English.

You made it trough the morning and finally is was time for lunch.

"Uuuhhhggg that was so boring" you moaned stretching out your arms.

"Yeah no kidding! I thought I was going melt into a puddle of confusion." you chuckled at Denki's remark.

You sat with Shoto at lunch, even though you got offers from Izuku's and Kirishima's groups to sit with them.

After everyone finished, you all filed back into the classroom and sat down, everyone looked excited for the first Hero Basic Training class, but you were just worried.

I really hope that we don't get split up, I want to be able to keep my quirk a secret for as long as possible so I'll need to be with Sho. I don't want anyone to know until it is absolutely necessary.

" I am here! Coming through the door like a hero!"

Your class gasped in awe at the Number One Hero standing in the doorway.

"I can't believe it's really All Might" Denki fanboyed

"So he is a teacher! This year is going to be totally awesome!"

Everyone was practically bursting with excitement.

"Welcome to the most important class at UA high! Think of it as heroing 101, here you will learn the basics of being a pro and what it means to fight in the name of good. In these lessons, we will pull no punches!"

You sighed at All Might's over the top introduction mentally comparing it to the bleak intro that your uncle made.

"One of the keys to being a hero is looking good! These were designed before school started, based on the requests you sent in!" All Might pressed a button on a remote and your hero costumes came out of the wall.

"YESSSSSSSSS!" Even you couldn't help but let out a cry of excitement at the idea of finally getting to see your hero costume. You had spent countless hours deciding what would best suit your quirk and still look good.

"Get yourselves suited up and meet me at training ground beta!" All Might gave his final instructions and then left the class.

You grabbed your assigned case and headed to the locker room with the other girls.

"This is the best day of my life!" Hagakure exclaimed

"I agree! I'm super exited to see my costume in person!" Mina added

You clutched your case to your chest eager to look inside.

"I'm shook." you muttered staring at yourself in the mirror.

Your quirk was very versatile and there wasn't a costume that would help you with all of the quirks you could use, so you went for something more functional.

"Y/n you look amazing!" Ochako gushed

Mina's eyes went wide "Yeah you look so cool!"

You looked around at the other girls and grinned " You guys look awesome as well!"

You all made your way to ground beta and waited for the rest of your class.

"The boys sure are taking a long time," Tsu put a finger to her chin "I wonder if something happened."

Just then, the boys stepped out of the tunnel and walked over to the rest of you.

"Guess not" you said to Tsu.

"Y/n! You look so cool!" you immediately knew who the voice came from and turned around to see your green haired fanboy.

"Thanks Izu! You look super cute!" you remarked on his green bunny looking costume.

Suddenly, Izuku lit up like a traffic light, his face went so red you could see it from underneath his costume.

Before you could say anything you felt a light tap on the shoulder, when you turned around, you saw a person wearing a white robotic looking costume with a helmet. You looked them over trying to figure out who it was, your eyes stopping on their calves.

"Hey Sonic, you look great!" you used his new nickname.

"Thank you Y/n, I came over to compliment you on your costume. Also, I ask again, who is Sonic." Iida's voice sounded slight muffled from the helmet, but you could tell you guessed right.

"Thanks for the compliment, though it's a little biter tight than I would have liked."

"I think you look good" you smirked at Shoto who had come over to join your little group.

"High praise from you Sho. You look pretty cool yourself" you snickered at your pun referencing to the half of his body covered in ice.

Right as he and Iida were about to ask you what you were laughing at, All Might started his explanation of the exercise.

"Now that you're ready, it's time for combat training!"

"Sir!" Iida raised his hand "This is the fake city from our entrance exam, does that mean we will be conducting urban battles again?"

"Not quite!" All Might answered "I'm going to move you two steps ahead! Most of the villain fights you see on the news take place outside. However, statistically speaking, run-ins with the most dastardly villains take place indoors. Truly intelligent villains stay hidden in the shadows."

So I assume we will be dong training indoors, that's fine, as long as I'm with Shoto it won't be an issue.

All Might continued "For this training exercise, you will be split into teams of good guys and bad guys and fight two on two indoor battles!"

All Might explained the rules but you were only half listening, you sent Shoto a worried look but, unlike you, he was paying attention.

"Listen up!" All Might called "The situation is this, the villains have hidden a nuclear missile somewhere in their hideout! The heroes must try to foil their plans, to do that, the good guys must catch the evil doers or recover the weapon. Likewise, the bad guys succeed if they capture the heroes or protect the weapon."

You were shocked, half of you would end up playing villains even though you are in the hero course.

"Time is limited so we will chose teams by drawing lots!"

You crossed your fingers hopping that maybe, just maybe, you would get lucky.

"Team A is... Midoriya and Y/n!"

"Team B is... Todoroki and Shoji!"

All Might continued to list off teams and then pulled out the first two teams to fight.

"I determine the first two teams to fight will be... These guys!" The Number One Hero held up two balls in his hands one labeled 'D' and one labeled 'A'. "Team A will be the heroes! Team D will be the villains!"

You turned on your heel and were about to break into a run toward the exit but you were stopped by an arm of ice.

"Just breathe, you're going to be fine. Don't use your quirk if you really don't want to, it's just training." Shoto whispered to you so that nobody could hear.

You were thankful he was there supporting you or else you would have booked it.

You nodded deciding that you would just flunk the test, and walked over to Izuku who also looked terrified.

"OK! Everyone who is not either team A or D can head to the monitoring room to watch."

When everyone left you looked at who stayed behind, your eyes widened when you saw your opponents.
