《Infectious Intent (M. Yandere x F. Reader)》Epilogue

A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.
Bright rays of morning light shone through the bedroom window. (F/n) moaned a bit in discomfort at the newfound light and shoved her head in her pillow. "(F/n), you should get up. It's past noon already," her father's voice called out to her. "I can't keep these ginger cookies warm forever." Almost instantly, her nose sniffed at the air, and her eyes opened a bit.
"Coming," she groaned out, and she heard an amused chuckle from the other side of the door. She rolled onto her back before she sat up and rubbed her eyes. A yawn escaped her lips, and she stretched her arms soon after. Blinking the rest of the sleep out of her eyes, she left her bed and slipped on her slippers.
Dragging her feet across the room, she sent a small glare at the sunlight before she opened her door. It creaked open. The smell of ginger hit her nose pleasantly, and she grinned tiredly. (F/n) stepped out, but she never reached the kitchen.
A loud knock erupted through her house, and her eyes burst open. Rushing water greeted her ears, and her hair was plastered to her face. The water was no longer warm but cold. "(F/n), I've given you enough time. Come out for dessert." She heard a giggle. "Or, do I have to come in there and fetch you? Or, maybe, I should join you?"
Hanging her head, she wiped her hands across her face and pushed her wet hair back. Reluctantly, she turned off the shower faucet as she adjusted her eyes to the artificial light in the bathroom. "Just wait," she practically growled out. She received a giggle in return, and she rolled her eyes. A frown rested on her lips, and she wanted to cry, but the creature would enter if she didn't hurry. Then, she would probably get a worse bite taken out of her.
Gradually, she left the shower. Her left hand supported her against the wall since her whole body felt exhausted. She never quite had recovered from what had happened at the cabin. The creature had made sure of that. Long nail marks were all over her, and bruises covered her body from him having to hold her down constantly during that day. Eventually, he had knocked her out after he had his fill of dessert and payment, and she had woken up in her bed at her home. That had been a week ago.
Over the course of that week, a schedule had been formed, and it had favored the creature. Like the creature, she had adopted being active at night and sleeping during the day. The first few days had been awful, and she had looked like she was half-dead, not that the creature minded. No, he just had been proud of how well she was keeping to her new routine.
Her parents hadn't a say in the matter, nor did she. The creature had been and was in control of their lives, and she had been allowed barely any time to think on a plan to kill him. That was probably why he had been so strict about her maintaining her new schedule. Fortunately, her parents had offered her continual support in the form of hugs and long, caring conversations. (F/n) had given up some of her sleep for those since her parents hadn't changed their routines since they still had the funeral home to run.

Whether the creature had been aware of those meetings or not, she didn't know. The teen had her suspicions, though, and she hoped that he wouldn't stop them. She needed that time away from him. Even in sleep, she hadn't been away from him. They now had shared a bed, her bed to be exact. Thankfully, his grip on her had loosened at times, which had permitted her quietly to sneak away, but she hadn't dared to try and kill him.
Even if she had managed to escape his hold on multiple accounts, she had known that he would wake if a threat came along. That had been proven when wind only had tapped the window lightly. He had sprung up and launched himself at the window only to sigh in relief that nothing had been there. She hadn't even heard the wind until he had mentioned it to her.
Leaning on the bathroom counter, she avoided eye contact with the mirror. She didn't want to see how badly he had marked her. (F/n) also didn't desire to view him standing behind her in the mirror. The teen knew that he wasn't in the room with her, but it still bothered her. Genuinely, she had thought that she had killed him back there, but he had been messing with her mind the entire time. It pissed her off and scared her, and she doubted that he would be generous enough to overlook another attempt on his life.
After slipping on her undergarments and pink pajamas, which were the creature's forceful request, she pulled her hair back into a bun and tied it up. "I'm getting impatient, my partner." His nails tapped against the door. "Don't make me open another wound on you." He giggled. "You really shouldn't lose too much more blood."
Against all of her desire, she unlocked the door and opened it. Her eyes stared up and met his. A grin tugged at his lips. "Oh, how I love you in those." His nails glided under her chin, and his lips trailed along her jaw line while his other hand wrapped around her waist. (F/n) wished to push him back or struggle in some way, but her body was so weak. Not to mention that his nails would slice her chin if she tried to remove herself from his grip.
"Beneath them is an even darker shade." His lips stopped on her left shoulder. Five deep scratches were there, and he licked the healing wounds. She winced and tried to move away out of instinct, but he kept her in place. A cry exited her, however, when he bit down on the area. Her lips quivered, and her hands pressed against his chest in a useless attempt to get free.
Before a shrill scream could leave her, his right hand planted itself over her lips. She didn't bite him, however, since he had grown accustomed to that. It only gave him more pleasure. A piece of her flesh was torn off with his teeth, but it wasn't too much to the point where it would need to be bandaged. (F/n) managed to force back the tears. Her hands gripped at his black hoodie and continued to shove against him.

When he pulled back, he licked his bloody lips and watched the blood stain her clothes, though; that wouldn't be the first stain on them. "Delicious." His right thumb ran itself over her lip, and she glowered at him. He leaned closer towards her. "You have such sweet nectar, my pink flower." The creature licked his lips again for emphasis. "But, that's all I'll take for tonight. I have something to discuss with you."
"I don't want to hear it." She noted that his grip loosened, so she pushed him aside and entered her room. (F/n) avoided her mini fridge and went to head to the kitchen, but he grabbed her left wrist and tugged her back.
His arms wrapped around her waist securely and almost painfully. "You're going to have to." He backed up with her before he seated them both on the bed. She hated being on his lap, and if she could, she would ram a fist into his groin. With a snarl, she asked, "What is it? Is it another way to make my life more miserable?"
"Such harsh words, my little helper, but I suppose that it depends on your perspective. Then again, you haven't shown much delight towards it." She froze and peered over her shoulder at him. He loosened his grip on her before he turned her to face him. Her legs straddled his hips, and he kept her tight against him.
Dread filled her entire being. "Wh-wh-wh ..."
"What is it?" He giggled. "It's good news ... At least for me." The creature grinned and whispered into her left ear. She shivered in alarm. "I've discovered a solution." Almost, she felt like she might vomit.
"N-n-no, no, no!" she exclaimed before he clamped a hand over her mouth. She shook her head and no longer could prevent tears. It had only been a week! How had he found that so quickly?!
"I know. It had shocked me too, especially since it's so simple of a procedure." He moved his head back and stared to her caringly. It frightened her, and she wished to disappear then and there. "After studying female organs and varying medical procedures performed during pregnancies, I realized what had to be done to keep you living."
Blood drained from her face, and she feared what words would come out of him next. Maybe, she was having another dream. That had to be it. Her tears trickled onto his hand. "Yes, I know. It truly is something to be joyous about. I'll just assume that those are tears of jubilation." She shook her head more.
"All I have to do is take off some of your flesh before the nine month mark." Her eyes widened, and he nodded his head regretfully. "Yes, I know. I didn't want to waste it either, but it'll be for our child after all. I could use flesh from another human, but I thought that it would be more hygienic to use yours. And with yours, it's guaranteed to work."
Slowly, his hand traveled from her mouth to her midsection. It rested there, and she thought that would puke on him. The teen was tempted too, but then he would probably force them to take a shower together, which was one of the last things that she wanted given the present conversation.
"Once I have your flesh, I simply lead our baby out of you with it." Her body felt like it would collapse into a puddle. "I know that it'll be highly uncomfortable and painful, but you'll live. And, we can have a child!" He bopped her on the nose, but she paid the action very little attention. "I'll even treat you to two years without me asking you for dessert. That's pretty generous, (f/n)."
"No, please no," she muttered and shook her head more. Her hands grabbed his hoodie. She threw her pride out the window and begged. "Please, don't. I don't care about you skipping dessert. Just please don't put me through that." Tears continued to stream down her face.
Both of his hands cupped her cheeks. His nails were threateningly close to her head. She couldn't move at all. "We've been through this, (f/n). I'm not going to rush you into it" No hope entered her. The teen recognized that gleam in his eyes. He wasn't going to be talked out of it. "But, we will have a child. I love you, and I want to show you my love even more."
All of her physical, mental and emotional exhaustion seemed to crash into her brain like a massive wave. Her eyelids felt heavy, and she felt dizzy. (F/n)'s head spun, and she couldn't help but lean it against his chest. His hands moved lovingly to her waist and back, where he held her up against him. "I'll let you sleep for tonight." She only cried more, but her tears soon grew quiet.
Feeling her mind shut down, she shut her eyes entirely and hoped that she could at least have a peaceful dream again. Maybe, she could have one of those ginger cookies. She smiled slightly, but it didn't last long. Horror invaded and polluted her bloodstream, and she felt crippled by the news. Even though she had fought so hard against him and continued a weaker battle, she couldn't defeat such an infectious intent.

A Universe of Bloody Evolution
The Void was never meant to be opened to the Multiverse. The horrors waiting inside it should have never seen the light. And yet, the biggest mistake in the history of creation led to the impossible. In an event later known as the Outbreak, gates appeared in the first Universe, and with them, the Void was free. For ages the Void destroyed universe after universe, spreading its power in every direction, leaving only death and pain behind. But before every Universe met its end, it still had a chance. A small part of the population that survived the initial Outbreak and was granted a mysterious System to help them fight against the dangers that came from the Void. They were the Multiverse's last hope even if they couldn't stop the collapse of their own world. And so the cycle continued until the 36th Outbreak came. Leo Hale, a young reporter from Wolford, was one of the lucky ones to survive when the majority of Earth's population turned into monsters straight out of nightmares. Thrust into a constant battle for his life, Leo was determined to push forward and find his remaining family. Even if it meant sacrificing what was left of his humanity. After all, you either adapt or die. Story of progression and evolution with my take at the post-apocalyptic genre. Unlike most monster evolution stories where the monster rushes to gain human form, here I plan to do something quite the opposite. After all, in a world where almost everything wants to kill you, being human can be hard. Warnings are here to give me the freedom to write whatever is necessary. This is my first original novel. Also English isn't my native language so any feedback is welcome. Remember that even if initially this story takes place on Earth, fictional places, streets, etc will appear. Release Schedule: Monday - Wednesday - Friday Average chapter length: 2000-2500 words (There might be exceptions as is the case with some of the first chapters - most of them are longer.)
