《Infectious Intent (M. Yandere x F. Reader)》The Peskiest Chocolate

A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.
Two more weeks had passed, and (F/n) had healed mostly. All of her stitches had been removed, and she had been able to properly lift things again. No longer had she needed help with eating or drinking, though; the creature had offered on multiple accounts. He only had received a scowl, and he had returned a giggle or two.
(F/n), though, had been growing more and more anxious with each day. She had wanted to return home or to have the creature at least check on the situation back in the town. Being cooped up in the cabin had become tiresome, and the creature had made it worse. It had disturbed her too that she had grown accustomed to sleeping on the bed with him at the same time.
Often, she had awoken in the morning hours to find him cuddled up next to her. His nails always had been too close for comfort, and on a few occasions, they almost had sliced open a section of her skin. She had shaken the creature awake in those instances, and after some of his teasing, he had released her.
Another reason that had created a more awful situation had been the fact that the creature had been attempting to get closer to her. Besides the snuggling, he had given her unwanted kisses goodnight, on the lips or cheeks, and forced hugs. Every kiss had been gentle, but that hadn't made them anymore desirable.
Right now, however, she had managed to convince the creature to examine the town since three weeks had gone by since the incident with Haley. He wasn't sure what he would find there since neither of them was positive on the townsfolks' reaction to the whole thing. Annoyingly, though, he hadn't departed yet. Instead, he was sitting across from her with a smug smirk on his lips.
The creature had discovered the bag of trail mix that she had hid under some loose floorboards. He must've found it when she had been asleep. Nonetheless, it irritated her. All of her food had been depleted, minus the trail mix, after two weeks of their stay at the cabin. For the past week, he had been hunting for her, and she had cooked the meat after he had skinned it.
Meat and water hadn't been exactly the most varied meal plan in the world, but she hadn't complained. At least, she hadn't been forced to eat Haley or Dean. The thought caused her to shiver. She hadn't touched the trail mix, though, because of the memory of the tunnels. That stale taste of nuts, fruit and chocolate lingered on her tongue from the recollection, and she recalled the creature having cut her lips to rid the smell of it from them.

Darker scenes had played in her mind too, and it all around was a horrid item to look upon, but the creature refused to hunt for her again until she consumed every morsel of the package. He also dismissed the idea of heading into town before she ate all of it. A heavy frown coated her lips, and she crossed her arms.
"I can stay here all day, (f/n). It doesn't bother me. You're my dessert after all." He leaned forward in his chair and rested his chin in the palm of his right hand. She directed her scowl to him, but he merely giggled in response. "It can't be that bad. Besides, it would be better to get rid of it sooner than later. Then, you can forget about it again."
"I'd rather throw it out," she hissed back. "And, aren't you the one who hates the smell of this on my lips?" She couldn't help but point to him slightly.
"I hate the smell of human food in general, especially if it emits a pungent odor, but I've made an exception for you. You tolerate the smell of blood on me constantly, so I thought that I wouldn't complain about the odor of your food."
"Oh, how considerate." He grinned and nodded his head a bit. She rolled her eyes and forced herself not to chuck the bag at him. Reluctantly, she grabbed the package and tore it open. It didn't smell old like the other one, but her stomach had no appetite for the thing. Her eyes narrowed at the bits and pieces of food within before her eyes shifted themselves to the creature. "Can't you kill a bird for me or something?"
"I could, but we've been over this already. That's your meal for right now. You won't get anything else until that's finished." He giggled. "Though, I do love hunting for you. It's nice to know that you're dependent on me for another thing." She glowered at him. "I wish that I was hunting humans for you, however." A longing sigh parted from him, and her stomach recoiled at the thought.
"That's never going to happen."
He waved his left hand dismissively. "Yes, yes, I know. You only need to be stained by your own blood, my pink flower." She maintained her expression, but her heart skipped a beat in fear. Was he going to partake of her now? (F/n) scooted back in her chair. The creature giggled. "I don't think that your delicate petals could support the weight of someone else's life source."

Leaning back on his chair, he grinned. "But, I'll have some later. After I return from town, I'll be hungry. Any requests?" He was met by a foul look, and he giggled more. "Fine, I understand."
Her eyes diverted back to the trail mix. Hesitantly, she reached in and retrieved several pieces. That's what you had eaten before my death, right? She paused. Does it feel any different that you've killed three people now? Maybe, it'll taste like your victims. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath.
Over the two past weeks, she had heard Brent every now and then. Sometimes, she had been able to ignore him and his d*mned comments. Thankfully, Dean hadn't shown himself to her after Haley's death. Perhaps, that had been because Haley had been so unreasonable that she had no longer felt guilty for either of their deaths. It was hard to believe that she felt responsible for Brent's demise since he had been such an a**hole. Unluckily for her, he was persistent too.
Opening her eyes, she didn't stare to the creature. She placed the food in her mouth and chewed. Crunch. Crunch. A satisfied smirk crossed the creature's lips, but she didn't take note of it. Instead, her attention focused on the dead male again. I bet that's how our bones would've sounded. Her chewing halted, and she nearly gagged, but she swallowed regardless.
For a second time, she performed the same, and she wanted to slam a fist into Brent. He wouldn't leave her alone, and he was driving her nerves crazy. The creature grew amused. His partner's expression kept changing between pissed off, disgusted and fearful. It really was quite a show, but her gagging was causing him concern.
If she vomited, he would have to hunt for her. He couldn't leave her alone in the cabin without having eaten. There was also the fact that he would have to clean up the mess. She could take up the task herself, but he had been the one to force her to eat the trail mix.
When her eyes shifted to her right, he followed her gaze but saw nothing there. Was she seeing someone again? It was probably one of the people he had killed. He hoped that the piece of garbage wasn't bothering her, but he couldn't do much against an illusion of (f/n)'s mind. Her lips parted, and she looked ready to say something, but she held back and ate another handful of the food.
Barely, she managed to get it down. Her hand tightened around the bag, and her eyes locked onto her right harshly. "Who is it?" She snapped her focus onto him and appeared surprised. It was as though she hadn't been aware of her gaze shifting back and forth.
"Wh-what ... Why do you care?" Her severe tone didn't faze him. He tapped his nails against his against his arm and stared to her right before he stood up from the chair. The creature walked over and stopped close to the spot where she had been staring at.
Lifting his left index finger, he poked the air. "Who is right here?" She appeared uncertain. Her lips separated once more, but he firmly ordered, "Answer. I'll kill the person again."
A bitter laugh escaped her. "He's already dead. It won't help." Her lips upturned into a hateful smile. "And, I thought that you like seeing the phantoms bother me. It's entertaining to you." Venom dripped from her voice, and he giggled in return.
"Oh, it is, but I don't want them to make you vomit. You're only getting sicker, and he isn't helping." There was also the fact that his heart tightened. The meal was supposed to be between her and him, not some dead man. "Now, is it Dean?" She analyzed him, but her gaze didn't change much. His mind recounted the individuals from the tunnels when she had come along. "Brent?" Her lips tightened into a thin line.
"It's him, then?" He scoffed and sliced his nails through the air. Brent, though, had been gone the moment that the creature had stepped over to the spot. "I don't get why you feel responsible for his death. He had been going to sacrifice you to me if he ever had been presented the chance if it had meant his survival." The creature returned to his seat and plopped down on it. "I don't know how I'm going to get you to forget about him."
"You won't be able to. He'll probably stay around until you're dead at the least." (F/n) sat up straight in her chair. "It would seem that he's bonded to me through death too." She scowled and forced another handful of mix down her throat. The creature, though, became quite displeased.
