《Infectious Intent (M. Yandere x F. Reader)》The Wintriest Shelter

A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.
A week had passed since Haley had attacked (f/n), and it had been dreadful. (F/n) had known that Haley had been experiencing a worse week than her, and she had seen the bruises and weakening condition of the younger teen. She had even heard her screams, cries and begging on most of the days since her body had no longer been sleeping for a long duration. What had caused those incidents to be even more dreadful had pertained to the fact that she hadn't been able to cover her ears.
Over the days, the older teen had established the ability to raise her arms more and more but not to the point where her hands had been able to go over her shoulders. Even lifting them to her chest level had been still painful. Thankfully, though, she had started to walk again on the third day of her recovery.
Before that, it had been a nightmare since the creature had needed to lend his aid in every basic task. She had never felt so humiliated and exposed in her life. (F/n) had managed to convince him not to give her a bath, but he had insisted on scrubbing her arms and legs with clean fabric, soap and heated up water. To that, she hadn't denied him since she hadn't wished to smell awful for her entire stay in the cabin, though; she had wished that she had known how long that would be.
Even with her body having healed some, the creature had been required to change her bandages still. Never had she grown accustomed to him wrapping clean bandages around her chest. He had been respectful and hadn't glanced at it, but his hands had glided across her sensitive flesh. At that, she hadn't been able to quell heat rising to her cheeks. Even if she hadn't liked him anymore than she had in the past, her body annoyingly had reacted to his touch in a displeasing fashion.
Every moment of that week, she had hated. She had suspected that the creature was experiencing the best week of his life, but she hadn't bothered to ask. He would've probably added more twisted remarks to the situation.
Right now, though, it was one of the quieter moments in the cabin. (F/n) sat up on the bed, and early morning light shone through the gaps in the boards. She leaned back against the headboard, and she didn't shift her position too much lest the wood scrape against the healing cuts on her back. Her (e/c) eyes stared over the room as she enjoyed the silence.

To her right, an empty laundry bucket rested. Drying bandages lied over it. Two packs and a bag were nearby and were filled with their supplies. The door was ajar, and warmth from the fire crept in. Her gaze shifted forward. Clothes were hanging over the wooden end of the bed and drying.
Even if she didn't desire to admit it, she was grateful for the creature cleaning everything. He made sure that they weren't staying in a mess minus Haley's condition. The younger teen's only luxury was that she sat next to the fire. It had been embarrassing to (f/n), though, when he had washed her underwear for the first time, but she had seen that he hadn't really spared a glance at them.
His response, though, to her watchful gaze had unnerved her completely. "I'm much more interested in your skin than the cloth on you, (f/n). This isn't even red or pink." Memory of his words sent another chill up her spine. Never would she let him take things that far.
A hand draped over her thighs, and she tensed. The creature moved his head onto her lap. She wished to push him off, but she didn't want to wake him up either. He most likely wasn't in a deep sleep either. That probably was even more of the case since he had only fallen asleep about twenty minutes ago. Their present position made her wish for there to be two beds in the room.
The creature's nails fanned out near her right thigh while his right hand gripped at her shirt a little. His face rested where her stab wound was, and the pressure on the injury was less than appreciated. Her hands had nowhere really to go except on him.
Reluctantly, she placed her right on top of his head while her left rested at the back of his shoulders. They looked like a loving couple, but she wished for nothing more than to put a knife in his back. He had her sealed in a cage practically, so she couldn't exactly head outside and search for one of his discarded nails. The fact that he had ripped off two sets of them for her hadn't warmed her heart. Rather, his action had only alarmed her and served to remind her how much pain the creature could tolerate to keep her alive.
If she was in better condition, she wouldn't have allowed him to sleep next to her on the bed, and she knew not to fight him on it anymore. Her body was healing, and he realistically could take a bite of her again, so she didn't wish to anger him. He probably comprehended that fact too, but he wasn't acting on it.

Maybe, it was because of his declaration, and the ... gentle side of him had definitely been revealing itself more. Every time that she had required his assistance, he had treated her like she actually was a frail flower. Still, the horrifying part of him had continued on. It had been demonstrated in his treatment of Haley, and he had continued to threaten her seriously.
No matter how soft he became, she wouldn't put the truth behind her. She wouldn't let him cloud her judgment. He murdered her friend brutally and would kill her parents if she made and attempt on his life and failed. The creature was a menace, and his affection only caused him to become protective of her, which made her plan all the more difficult.
A light grumble made her mentally groan. At least, she didn't have to eat the creature's food like Haley. Those had been some of the moments where she especially had wished to cover her ears. Haley's gags had been utterly awful.
Eyes shifting over to the supplies, she wondered just how much food she had left. Crackers and dried fruit sounded good out of her options. The trail mix brought back memories of the tunnels, and she had thought that she had disposed of all of her trail mix in her room. Apparently not and the creature had decided to bother her with it. Eventually, she would need to eat the item if they stayed too much longer at the cabin.
(F/n) peered back down at the creature. His nearly white locks covered his closed eyes partially, and his lips were now parted. A grimace covered her countenance at the recollection of him kissing her. She could see red on parts of his too human teeth. Her stomach growling drew her attention away from them. It must've caught his attention too.
Moving a little bit, the creature released a tired groan. A yawn escaped him, and his eyes opened sleepily. Steadily, he gazed up at her. His lips upturned into a grin. "Oh, you're still in bed."
Not finding his actions cute in the slightest, she scowled at him. "I wonder why."
Giggling at her attitude, he gradually looked over his current position. Another giggle left him. "Hmm, well, I was dreaming about dessert." Her body tensed, and he licked his lips. "Good thing that I hadn't bitten you in my sleep." Slowly, he sat up and crossed his legs. The sheets pooled around him. He placed his chin on his right hand. "Still, I'm wondering when I should have a taste again. A week has been a long time."
Instinctively, she scooted closer to the edge of the bed. A grin remained on his lips. "But, I won't have any of you today since you let me sleep on your lap." His eyes glanced down to it. "And, it's very soft. We should've slept together much sooner. Then, I could've bitten you to sleep, and it would've been more comfortable for you."
No blush graced her; her scowl only grew. "I'm getting food," she grumbled before she carefully draped her feet over the side of the bed. The creature's eyes were pinned on her, making sure that she wouldn't fall and injure herself.
Once she stood successfully, he relaxed a little. His grin returned. "That's right. Your stomach woke me up. Fitting, don't you think?" She didn't even glance his way, and he giggled before he stood onto his feet. Swiftly, he made it to the item with her food. He lifted it up and unzipped it so that she could choose what she wanted.
After she pulled out the crackers and dried berries, she steadily made her way back to the bed. He put the zipper back in its original position and set the item back down. Another yawn exited from him, and he climbed back onto the bed. She eyed him carefully, and he giggled in response. "If I cuddle up to you, I'll try not to nibble on you in my sleep."
"That's not very reassuring." She took out a cracker from the bag before she sighed at her dilemma. Irritated, she handed it over to him and opened her mouth. (F/n) couldn't wait until she could lift her hands to her mouth again. Bending over to reach the food wasn't an option either. That strained her shoulders too much also.
Taking the cracker from her, he placed it in her mouth, a grin on his lips the entire time. (F/n) merely desired to punch him. As she started to eat, however, his eyes glanced down to her bandaged shoulders. The wrappings peeked out from her off-white top. It was probably time to take out the stitches there.
