A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.
Haley stepped back some more. Her eyes never left (f/n), and (f/n) now took a step back. The amount of abhorrence directed towards the older teen made her wish to leave the house, but she had to calm Haley down; however, she couldn't help but think that Haley was more terrifying than the creature presently. Any moment, Haley could explode and do something that she would regret later.
Managing to keep her voice steady, (f/n) argued, "Haley, that's bizarre. I only knew about Dean's disappearance when I was in the store with you. And, why would I ever help the creature? That's even crazier. That's why I need your help so that I can stop him. I only agreed to him this morning because my parents' lives were on the line, but I have every intention to kill him."
The hate in her dark blues didn't vanish. Before Haley could retort back, though, (f/n) continued, "The connections that you're making aren't reasonable. The creature probably retrieved that hoodie from somewhere else. And, I already told you my reason for starting the plan now. Remember? I had only formed it recently."
Shaking her head in disbelief, Haley almost chuckled. "You're the unreasonable one, (f/n). You think that you can convince that you're not lying. Well, you're wrong!" She backed up more. "Maybe, you did create your plan not too long ago, but you only developed it because you knew that the creature had come back. He came back to his d*mn helper!
"And, what about last night?! You call me to tell me not to text or call you. Wait until our next meeting, huh?! Well, now I know why. The creature was there listening in!"
"No, that's not the reason!" (F/n) took several steps forward. Her fists were clenched. "I thought that I had seen the creature out in the cemetery last night. I grew worried. When I saw that you had called, I had wanted to keep you safe by telling you not to contact me. I've been trying to keep you safe this entire time!"
You've already lost her. Laughter sounded from behind her on the couch. And, the creature is probably on its way. It's going to kill her. Dean's voice grew lower, and he sounded pissed off. You really are a disgusting human.
(F/n) forced herself not to glance behind her. Haley didn't even think her frozen state odd. "Tch, you even know that's not true, (f/n). Look at you!" The younger teen stepped into the kitchen and stood behind the counter. "You have liar written all over your face. Just admit that you've been helping him and tell me where the f*ck Dean is!" Her hands slammed against the counter, and tears started to drip down her cheeks.

Standing up taller, (f/n) shook her head that time. She walked forward, and Haley watched her carefully. Cautiously, (f/n) placed her hands on the counter. It was hard to remain relaxed, but she had to keep her voice level. "I don't know where Dean is. And, I haven't been helping the creature. Please, I need you to believe me, Haley. I'm telling you the truth."
Hesitantly, (f/n) reached out her right hand to rest soothingly on Haley's shoulder. "Your shock from seeing the creature and the crash are only heightening your confusion." A comforting smile tried to work itself on her lips, but her terror of Haley prevented it from taking shape. Her hand, though, never reached her shoulder.
A knife swept through the air. Instantly, (f/n) drew her hand back and distanced herself from the counter. Haley pointed the knife to her. "Don't you dare try to hide the truth behind that b*llsh*t!" The younger teen chuckled. "I bet this is how you made it out of the tunnels."
"What? Haley ..."
"Shut up, (f/n)! I don't care about your opinion anymore. You had tried to play me! I had been kind to you; I had trusted you! I had been willing to give my life to your plan so that the creature would be stopped, yet you're its partner!"
"I'm not his partner! Haley ..."
"I said shut up!" She pushed herself off of the counter and kept the knife in her grip. (F/n) distanced herself more from the younger teen. "You had probably been scheming with it through the entire tunnels when you had realized that would probably be your only way out, though; you had known that someone else had to live or you would appear suspicious." Haley walked around the counter, and (f/n) felt her heart rate pick up.
"And, you had Laura killed. You had your only best friend murdered so that you would gain sympathy when you escaped. No one would suspect the girl who had lost her closest friend," she finished in a baby voice. Her eyes became murderous. (F/n) slowly headed for the front door.
"Haley, that's ridiculous. I only had gone to those tunnels to rescue Laura." An image of Laura's body flashed through her mind for a moment, and pain struck at her heart. Now, her comforting gaze morphed into one of hurt and genuine disbelief. "I would've never done that to her! I can't believe that you would accuse me of that!"

Standing still, Haley appeared deadlier than the creature. You're going to get it now. (F/n) didn't stare over to the kitchen, but she knew that Dean stood there. "I thought that I had told you to shut up." The younger teen pointed the knife at her again. "All I hear is your lies. You betrayed me, (f/n). And, I'm not going to forgive you. You had killed Laura and her friends. You had been probably jealous of her relationship with them. She probably even had spent more time with them than you."
Stepping closer, Haley laughed. "It's no wonder why. You're sick, and Laura had sensed that." (F/n) gripped the doorknob and shook her head. The older teen knew that tears would start coming.
"No! You're ..." Haley ran at her. Quickly, (f/n) jumped to her right. The knife impacted the door as (f/n) crashed against the side table. A vase wobbled off and broke to the right of her while a cry of pain escaped the younger teen. Her left hand went to her back to soothe it, but even her touch made her wince.
Facing her, Haley ripped the knife out of the door. "I really never wanted to kill anyone. I've wanted to kill the creature, but it's not a person. It's just a terrible thing." Her eyes stared down to (f/n), and the older teen slowly got back to her feet. "You're the only one who has considered it to be a person. It makes so much sense now. No wonder."
Sadness crossed Haley's eyes for a split second. "You're making me want to kill you. I never thought that I would be a murderer." The emotion quickly changed back into hate. "But, I have to. If you're working with the creature, you deserve to die. That'll weaken it, and it'll be killed more easily." She increased her grip on the blade, and (f/n) took careful steps away from her.
Catching sight of the healing wound on (f/n)'s right hand, Haley's eyes widened, and her mouth opened a little. "You ... yo-you've even been feeding yourself to it!" Swiftly, (f/n) drew her hand to her chest and tried to tell Haley otherwise, but the younger teen cut her off. "What ... what the actual f*ck is wrong with you?"
"It's just a scratch! Please, stop this, Haley! You're going to regret this. It's a huge mistake!"
"No, you made the mistake. You shouldn't have chased after me, (f/n). You should've left town. Then, you might've had a chance, but it's too late now. Even your partner abandoned you. It knew the better option, but you deserve that betrayal. It's fitting."
Before (f/n) could utter another word, Haley charged. (F/n) bolted for the kitchen counter, but a knife ripped through the air and caused her to pause. When she went to reach for one again, she was shoved to the ground. Catching herself on her hands, (f/n) grimaced, but she stood to her feet swiftly. Haley had another knife in her hand.
Hurriedly, (f/n) turned and raced for the stairs. The knife just missed her feet as they landed on the second step. "(F/n), get back here!" Haley was on the steps soon, and she pulled the knife out. (F/n) didn't dare glance back, but the chase reminded her of the incident back in the tunnels. Almost, she could picture the creature on her tail, but Nick wasn't there to help her. If he had been there, he would most likely be assisting Haley.
Reaching the top, (f/n) bolted to her left and ran into the nearest room. She locked the door behind her and looked around her surroundings. Unfortunately, she had made the wrong decision; she was stuck in the bathroom. There was no window in the bathroom, only a skylight, but she couldn't reach it or even open it.
Trapped, she searched for a weapon. All she could find was a razor. The doorknob jingled. Haley didn't say anything, but she knew that the door would open soon since she heard something in the lock. (F/n) wished for a place to hide, but there was only the bathtub. That was painfully obvious.
The lock clicked. Her (e/c) eyes snapped to the door. Nearly, she imagined long nails creeping in. Instead, the door opened, and Haley stood there. An angered gleam reigned in her eyes. (F/n) gripped the razor and backed against the counter. "Time to kill its partner."

The Blood Queen
The rain fell from the sky with ferocity and smashed into the pavement filling the air with the sound of a stampede. The noise was deafening as I struggled to stand up. The blood from my wound was covering the ground beneath me and I covered it with my hand as I pushed off the pavement. On my feet now I struggled to step towards the grass. Through the howling wind and pounding raindrops I could hear what sounded like a chant, calling me and drawing me towards the cliffs edge. "Vienna, my Queen, my blood Queen" I started to move my feet faster until I could run towards the edge. Only when I was at the edge did I turn and look back one last time at the castle behind me. I could see him standing on the balcony, he was screaming my name. I could just hear it over the rain. I unclipped my red cape and whispered goodbye to him. As he jumped off the balcony to run towards me I leaned backwards and let my body fall with the rushing water to the river far down below. I carried her whispers with me to the dark edge until they vanished.
