《Infectious Intent (M. Yandere x F. Reader)》The Emptiest Note

A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.
Bringing the phone closer to her chest, (F/n) forced her legs to create more distance between them. She went to the other side of her bed while the creature emerged from the closet. "I-I ..." (F/n) stopped since she didn't want to stutter, and she tried to compose herself, but it didn't work. "I-I ... thought th-that you wer-were going to e-eat the ice." If Haley hadn't called and her dad hadn't entered her room, he probably would have.
"That was my intent originally, but," his grin tugged at his lips, "that'll be good for a long time." He held out his left hand, and her heart felt like it had stopped. "Or, you could give me the phone. Then, I'll eat the ice." He giggled and somehow grinned more. "Besides, I already know that she talked with her aunt, and I can find out who that woman is. Really, you're only stalling the inevitable." The creature extended out his hand more. "Give me the phone, and it'll be better for you. What happened to putting yourself first?"
"I am." She didn't say anymore than that. The creature appeared amused and walked nearer to her, but he didn't respond either. (F/n) waited until he was even closer. Almost, he rounded the corner of the bed before she leaped onto her bed and raced across it. His right hand, though, grabbed her right leg and tugged her back.
She crashed to her bed, and the creature started to pull her back. Time not on her side, she looked at her phone and went to messages. The creature ripped her back, and she would've screamed if she didn't have to be quiet. (F/n) slid across the sheets before she saw his right hand come towards the phone. Swiftly, she pressed the delete button, and Haley's message was gone. A low growl emitted from him, and she didn't want to meet his gaze.
His hand snatched the phone before he seated himself on the edge of the bed. She was about to get up and try to get it back since Haley's phone number was in the phone's history, but his left hand pressed itself against her back. The tips of his nails were close to breaking her skin, warning her not to move. "If you call her ..."
"I'm not. That would be stupid. She'd know that I wasn't you. I'll just text her and ask her to repeat her message." (F/n) wanted to reach back and move his hand, but she knew that the creature wouldn't let her. That might only cause something undesirable to happen, but him texting Haley was also terrible.

(F/n) had known that he wouldn't call her, but she hadn't brought up the texting because of Nick. She didn't wish to raise suspicion in the creature. If he found out that Nick was in on the plan too, it would really crumble apart. "Ah, here it is!" he chirped, and his nails pressed into her a tiny bit more. One more move and blood would spill. "This must be her since the message mentions the coffee shop."
Despite his nails, she had to stop him. She had warned Haley, but the younger teen didn't know about the creature being back in town. Haley would answer and give them away, but the creature would be able to halt her easily if she simply reached back. Sucking in her breath, she hurriedly rolled onto her back. His nails glided along her skin and ripped her shirt.
Light scratches were along her back, but she didn't care currently. She shoved her hands against his arm, pushing it off of her. The creature, though, didn't let her sit back up. Instead, the back of his left hand collided with her left cheek and sent her back down. A groan of pain escaped her, but she pushed herself back up. His hand targeted her again.
The movement was fast, but she caught his wrist in time. His hand was a few centimeters from her cheek, and she could barely hold it off. Her strength was miniscule in comparison to his. A smirk crossed his lips. "You must really want me to tell her about Dean."
Not lightening her expression, she retorted, "You're going to tell her whenever you feel like it. Now, give me the d*mn phone back." His arm relaxed a little before he giggled. She didn't care about what he found funny, and she utilized the opportunity to hit his arm away. (F/n) threw herself at him, and her right hand reached for the phone.
When he lifted his right arm up, she head-butted him, which sent a wave of pain through both of them. (F/n) grimaced, but the creature had lowered his arm accidentally, so she grabbed his right wrist and tugged it down. The creature lost his balance on the bed and toppled off with her.
Feeling his weight on her, she struggled to move, but the phone had fallen out of his hand. It was near to both of theirs. Hastily, she retrieved it, but his hand gripped hers. Her fingers tightened around the phone; however, she noted that he was raising his left hand. She refused to give it up. His hand was about to injure her midsection when her father called out, "(F/n), turn on your lamp! You're being ridiculous!"

A smirk tugged at her lips, and she eyed the creature. "Looks like you're going to have to let me go." His nails retracted some before he sat up on her, but his right hand didn't release hers. She kept her gaze locked onto his as he stood up and pulled her to her feet. She tried to tug the phone away from him, but he refused to give it to her.
"Not entirely. Turn on your lamp." His voice was ordering and had lost some of its high-pitched quality. He was losing his patience, but she was too. She didn't avert her eyes from him while she switched on the lamp. The creature still had his sunglasses on, and he adjusted them some.
They both stood still. "One way or another, I'll get the information that I want from her. The less contact would be better. You know that too. Let me text her, (f/n)." His nails twitched like he wished to kill her. A grin began to stretch on his lips, though, and a pit formed in her stomach. "Or, you can tell me about her aunt. You don't care about her, right?" The creature leaned his face nearer to hers. "They're both part of your plan, but I'll let you save one of them if you want."
Gulping, she couldn't give up either, or she didn't desire to. If Haley died, she didn't wish to know the amount of guilt that would consume her, but her aunt was vital to getting the sedatives. Then again, it depended on Haley's message.
If her aunt had refused to help, then she would have to get the sedatives herself, or she could swipe them from her scheme entirely. Haley's aunt, though, might've at least given the location of the sedatives and how to get into them. Or, she could've agreed to aid them.
"Well, what's your decision? Let me text Haley, or tell me about her aunt." Her hand gripped the phone harder, and she tried to move it towards her. "Oh, so you don't want to choose. I give that I'll stick to Haley, then."
"Let me text Haley." The creature smiled and waited for her to release the phone. "No, I mean that I want to text her." It would put all of her previous efforts to waste, but she knew that he would get the phone again somehow if she didn't do something other than fight him for it.
"Oh? That's rather odd. And, you're going to let me view her response?" She couldn't see the creature's eyes, but she suspected that they displayed doubtfulness. "Are you hoping to make your choice easier by seeing what she'll say?" Several giggles parted from him. "That's smart. Dispose of the least useful one."
Distancing her head from his, she didn't respond. "Well, I suppose that I can let that happen. Text her back, or you can call her like you told your dad." His hold on her decreased, but she continued to watch him carefully.
"You'll let me call her and not on speaker?" Now, she was the skeptical one, but if that was the case, it would work all the better for her.
"Yes, I do have better hearing than you. Call her if you want."
Hesitantly, she dialed Haley's number while her mind put into action a quick idea of hers. The phone rang a few times before Haley picked up. (F/n)'s heart raced. "Haley," her eyes stayed off of the creature, "I want you to tell me at our next meeting. Don't call or text me." Her eyes shifted to the creature, and he caught onto what she was doing. Haley sounded confused. "Just don't!" she quietly yelled.
Racing towards the phone, (f/n) ducked under the creature's arms. She spun and stood up as she released the phone. Her dad was going to be pissed, but she couldn't leave it lying around. The phone flew throughout the air and impacted the wall. It broke into a few pieces, but (f/n) had already been running towards it.
There was a rough tug on her shirt, but her right foot reached the device, and she managed to stomp on it. Damaged more, the phone would need to be replaced. She was flung onto her bed while the creature stayed near the phone. A frown coated his lips before he smirked and started to giggle quietly. (F/n) backed up on the bed, and he turned his gaze gradually towards her. "You really want to play tonight." His nails lifted up and rubbed against each other. More giggles left him. "And, you're in luck. We're going to have some fun."
