《Infectious Intent (M. Yandere x F. Reader)》The Dirtiest Play

A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.

The park had been relatively peaceful. She had been able to relax on a bench and pass the time on her father's phone. There had been a few individuals who had asked her questions, but she had managed to get them to move along shortly after they had spoken to her. It made her grateful, though, for the coffee shop. People seemed to respect her space there, but that was probably because Haley was with her.

When it had been starting to get dark out, she had made her way to her car and headed home. She had taken her time by driving down the longer roads. The creature was most likely awake, but she hoped that dinner would be ready when she got home. Eventually, she would have to enter her room, but she could postpone it for a bit.

Pulling into the driveway, she walked into her home a few moments later. She could smell the cooked chicken and vegetables, and her stomach growled very lightly. (F/n) locked the door behind her and made her way into the kitchen. Her mother was taking a chicken, vegetable casserole out of the oven while her father was decorating the chocolate cake. It was a miniature cake, but even then, each slice was decently sized.

Both her parents greeted her as they continued to tend to their work. She went to sit down, but her mother looked over as she placed the casserole down. "Don't you want to take off your coat and such before you eat, (f/n)?"

Forcing herself not to appear like a deer in the headlights, she casually removed her gloves. "I will. I'll just put them on the spare chair next to me. I'll take them into my room after dinner." Her stomach growled softly again, and she chuckled in embarrassment. "Besides, I'm pretty hungry."

Her mother chuckled, and her father did the same. "Well then, why don't you set the table? This needs ten minutes to cool anyway, but you'll still have time to put your things away." Grey eyes glanced over to the cake before back to her. "Unless, you're hoping to eat dessert early."

Still putting the final touches on the cake, her father shook his head. "I don't think so. This is for after dinner, and no one is eating it until then." He peered over his shoulder at his daughter. "So, don't even think about it." (F/n) held her hands up in surrender. "Good." Her father returned to his work.

"In that case, why don't you put your things away? We can wait if it takes you a little longer too. Dinner will be plenty warm even after the ten minutes." Her mother took off her oven mitts before she retrieved three plates and handed them to (f/n), who now had her outerwear off. Before she could say anything, her mother had already turned around to retrieve some silverware.

(F/n) was tempted to move slowly, but her parents would notice, and if she stalled going into her room any longer, that would be questionable too. Inwardly annoyed and worried, she set the plates down and followed with the silverware once it was handed to her. Her mother placed the napkins on the table while she reluctantly grabbed her things.

"I'll be back soon," (f/n) responded as she took steady steps towards her door. Two hums were her response. She wanted to turn around and return to the kitchen, but she knew that was too risky. Staring to her door, she gradually placed her hand on the doorknob and turned. Her hand shook, and a chill traveled up her spine.

Once it was open, she peeked inside and saw the creature on her bed. The sheets were over him, and he appeared to be asleep. Surprised, she remained very quiet. She put her clothing items on her desk chair and tiptoed back to her door. He only shifted a little in the bed.

On his back, his right arm draped over his eyes. His left arm lied on top of the sheets, but his breathing remained steady. The television remote was on his right side as was her cell phone. A strong desire to snatch it away filled her, but she didn't wish to go anywhere near him.

It was on his right side, but it still would be a dangerous move. For all she knew, he could be awake but was only doing an excellent job at pretend sleeping. Then again, he wouldn't be able to contact Nick anymore if she had her phone back. He could always find a new one, but it would stall him for a time. There was still time before dinner too.

Carefully, she moved towards him. If it appeared that he would wake up, she would stop and leave her room. So far, he remained in the same position. She noted, though, that his nose twitched a little. Her feet paused. It twitched again. A light moan parted from him before he rolled over onto his right side. Heart beating faster, she kept still until he didn't move again for awhile.

His right hand rested beneath his head while his left nails draped over the edge of the bed by a little bit. The creature's lips were parted some, and his nearly white locks were somehow messier and hid his round-shaped face a little. If he lacked the nails and wasn't a deadly creature, she would've found him attractive in his present state, but picturing blood dripping down his mouth and hands was far too simple.

Eyes glancing back to the phone, they noted that his left hand was now closer to it. If she woke him up and startled him, she could very easily lose a hand. She gulped and reached towards it. Her fingers were shaking like crazy, and her legs wanted to dart out of the room.

Biting her lower lip, she forced her hand to move nearer. He remained motionless. Her eyes traveled between the phone and his nails. They switched to his nose, however, when they caught it twitching again. Alarms rang in her head to pull back, but it looked like he was still asleep; however, warnings pounded in her head when she noted a tiny grin begin to tug at his lips.

She didn't want to retract her hand. It was so close, but she knew that he would wake up at any moment. Fear crept along her arm and froze her hand in place. Another moan escaped him, and his grin grew. "(F/n), is that you?" No response left her, but she desired to gulp. Maybe, he was talking in his sleep. His body shifted some, and she didn't move her hand swiftly enough.

Nails brushed against her hand, and they halted. His pinky nail tapped against the phone. A giggle parted from him. "So, that's what you wanted." She attempted to pull her hand back, but his left hand wrapped around her wrist. "Not so fast. I need to ask you a few things."

Before she could respond, they both heard her mother shout, "Dinner's ready!"

Opening his eyes, the creature looked up at her. A grin remained on his lips. His hand tugged her closer, and she nearly fell onto the bed with him. The creature's face was too close for comfort. "We'll talk after you come back, and please do. I don't want to drag you in here." She held back a gulp, and he released her.

Speedily, she left her room and closed the door behind her. A quiet giggle left him before he sat up on the bed. He leaned back against the headboard and picked up her phone. His entire conversation with Nick was there, and he nearly crushed the device. The stupid human had ruined his plan, but he could always capture him; however, that would require him to head over to the other town and into it. It was too much of a hassle, but he wondered what had changed in the human's plans to reject his offer to meet up.

There was no doubt that the human had trusted him to be (f/n), but he supposed that the human considered other things more important than helping her. They hadn't been friends, and both valued their lives more than other, but he suspected Nick to be a little more willing to risk his life for her. Apparently, that had been wrong, meaning that he would have to find a new way to get (f/n) to agree that he was her partner.

Then again, maybe, it was for the best. He knew that she wouldn't take well to a violent approach, but he hadn't been able to think of anything else at the time. Sighing, he tossed the phone aside and combed his right fingers through his locks. Partners spent more time together, but she wasn't willing to change her schedule. If he had to modify his, he was willing to do so. It would be risky, but meeting Nick would've posed several dangers too.

Before he made the adjustments, though, there was something bugging him. It had been a conversation that he had overheard between (f/n)'s parents. He could even hear them chatting now but with her included in the discussion. The creature believed that it had to pertain to her plan to kill him. Even her parents had noted that it was odd, and they had made comments about her behavior.

Honestly, he wouldn't be shocked if they discovered his presence soon. He hoped that wouldn't be the case, but there were things that (f/n) couldn't hide from them. She could act like things were alright, but parents and even grandparents noticed things. The creature had never met his parents, but he had met his grandfather.

A chill covered his skin at the memory of him, and he shoved the memories to the back of his mind. They had no place bothering him. That all happened in the past, and that male was dead. Thankfully, he didn't have to worry about ghosts haunting him. Unlike (f/n), he felt no guilt.
