A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.

Her hand descended into the darkness steadily. She could hear her heartbeat start to quicken. How could the doors be unlocked? Only an expert could lock pick them. (F/n) gulped and was about to take a step forward. As her foot was about to land, a hand latched onto her right wrist. Long nails threatened to slice into her skin.

A scream was about to part from her lips, but she was cut short. She was tugged into the mausoleum before she was thrown across it like a ragdoll. Her flashlight landed a few feet away from her. The left door shut while footsteps neared her. As she regained herself, she groaned in pain, and her leg throbbed. Steadily, she pushed herself up on her hands before her eyes met the orbs of the creature. Swiftly, she pressed herself against the wall and reached for her flashlight.

"I wouldn't do that. Grab it, and I'll remove your hand and make a light snack of it." He crouched in front of her and grinned. Her hand still hovered in that direction. "Oh? Are you willing to test me? I am curious to see how you taste." Several giggles left him. "It's been driving me mad just thinking about it." His pale eyes gleamed with interest, and she slowly moved her hand back. Another giggle left him before he seated himself in front of her.

"How did you get in here? There are guards securing the edges of this place. How did you even know that I would be here?" she asked, shrinking against the wall more. Her voice didn't stutter, but she felt paralyzed to her position, and her heart was pounding. He could probably hear it.

"Guards?" He laughed and smirked. "I sneaked around them last night. Security did lower itself since I declared that I would be meeting you in the woods. Made things pretty easy for me. I knew that you wouldn't actually meet me there. No, you're much too scared." Leaning forward, he grinned and ran his nails along her right leg. Her leg began to tremble, and she almost closed her eyes.

"Co-couldn't yo-you lea-leave me al-alone?" she stuttered out this time. His nails stopped on her hip and tapped there. It felt like needles lightly hitting her skin. No blood was drawn, but she feared that would change soon.

The creature's grin widened. "Leave you alone?!" He burst out laughing in his high-pitched manner. She only eyed his hand, hoping that it didn't press into her. When he quieted down, it suddenly moved up to her face. His hand cupped her face, and his nails lightly glided over her skin. Blood drained from her face. (F/n) desired to scream for help, but if she moved, she would probably be dead.

"What gave you such an idea? You offered a bite to me, and I intend to take it. Though," he pulled her face closer and glanced over her features, "I plan to take more now before I kill you." Her eyes widened before he pushed her head back and released her. "After all, I didn't work so hard to find you for nothing. Then again, that human male made it rather easy." He giggled and snatched up her flashlight.

"Wh-what do yo-you mean?"

"What was his name? Hmm ... I think that it was Nick." He laughed more. "It was funny how you two thought that I wouldn't follow your car. I just used the trees on the side of the road and followed you to the hospital. He just had to stand by your room windows. Such a silly little human." His nails tapped against the flashlight before he threw it behind him. "You should call him sometime and ask how he's doing. I would love to know."

More laughter erupted from him. "I saw that! You were actually considering it!" She broke eye contact and bit her lower lip. Of course, she did. Right now, she was terrified, and she would call Nick if it meant that she would live. "And, that's also why I knew that you would be fun to keep around longer."

Finding some courage, she ignored his statement and asked, "How did you find me here? From the sounds of it, you didn't talk to Nick."

His eyes lit up, and he rested his chin in the palm of his right hand. "Well, the nurse was good for more than just a meal." Links began to connect in her mind. Her case had been known throughout the whole hospital, and her parents were well known in the town as well. The nurse would've had the location of her living residence. "Like you, he really didn't want to die. So, he gave me everything that I needed."

"You'll never make it back to the tunnels," she stated confidently. It was still afternoon, and there were police in the woods. They would figure out that the creature wasn't going to show to that location. Not to mention that the whole town was on alert and knew his weakness to light.

Giggling, he answered, "Oh, I have no intention of going back to the tunnels. It's part of the reason why I sought you out so much. It wasn't just for those bites. You owe me for more than that." His joyful expression found and maddening smile fell upon his lips. There was evident anger in his eyes, and she thought that he was going to kill her there. She wished to disappear and never return.

"All of this attention that your case brought did make it easier to find you, but it came at rather annoying cost." He stood back up to his feet and seated himself on the stone coffin. "It cost me my home and my abundant food supply. Not only that but also everyone now knows to increase the quantity of light around them."

She was about to speak, but he silenced her. "Shh, don't make me bite those lips off." A giggle left him, and she huddled into the corner. "As soon as word got out about my weakness, teams of security forces sped into my home with high-powered lights. They set them up throughout the tunnels and made it near impossible to live down there. I could adjust, but it would take too long. I had managed to sneak out, but I lost all of my food."

Throwing his hands up in the air as though he were tossing confetti, he declared, "So, lucky you! You drew me out of my home and made me even more of a threat to this town. No longer will foolish investigators be trying their hand at me. No, no, I'll be taking what I can get from this lovely town." Her chest tightened, and she felt like she might be sick. She was glad that the reward money was nowhere in sight because she felt like it had just signed her death sentence.

(F/n) didn't dare ask what part she played in all of it. She didn't desire to know. Her eyes glanced to the doors, and she wanted to bolt for them. Off to the side of them, she did see Nick's lock picking gear. Some of those picks were sharp, and they could be used against the creature. Most likely, she wouldn't make it to them in time.

"Oh, I wouldn't run out on me yet. Otherwise, it'll mean that you choose option B. And, that's really not a beneficial one for you." Her attention turned back to him, and she saw the chesire-like grin on his lips. He leaned forward on his elbows. "Should I explain them to you or remain quiet?"

"Go ahead," she spoke quietly, having a feeling that both options were terrible. It reminded her of the time back in the tunnels with Brent. She wanted to cover her ears and close her eyes; she wished that she was somewhere else. Why did she have to come outside? Then again, he probably would've tried to get inside her home eventually.

Hands clapping together, he shouted, "Excellent!" He leaned back on the coffin. "Option A is to provide me your residence as my new home. I'll stay out of sight of your parents, and they won't be harmed." Her facial expression gave her away completely.

"It's not that bad. I'm not asking you to kill anyone for me even though I should." A heavy sigh escaped him. "Honestly, I'm going to have to go on a diet so that the town population doesn't reach near zero." Giggling like a mad man, he commented, "That would put you out of business too after awhile, but your business would certainly hit a peak for a time."

Feeling her body go cold, she brought her knees closer. "Wh-what's op-option B?"

Quieting down, he leaned forward again and grinned. "You refuse me and leave this mausoleum, but I'll go after your parents. I can promise you that they'll be my next victims. Once I have them captured, I'll force you to choose which one should die slowly, and the other will die quickly. You'll get to watch the whole spectacle even when I eat them. Sound fun to you?" He giggled. "Though, that's not even the best part. Afterwards, I'll catch you and lock you away somewhere nice and safe. From there, you'll get to eat with me until I finally decide to kill you. It'll be nice to have someone to share a meal with."

Images played in her mind, and she thought that she might vomit. Her whole body trembled. She wished to dart out of the mausoleum, get her parents and leave town. They had some time before the sun went down; they could make it, or could they? Could she really chance it? (F/n) knew that the creature was being completely serious, but she could detail his plans to the law enforcement before they happened. Both of her parents and her would be safe.

Then again, she had thought that she had been safe in the past and here she was. She curled up more and felt tears forming. Movement hit her ears, but she didn't look up. A hand rested on her head, and she tensed. "You can take more time if you need it." He patted her head like she was a little kid. "Though, I'm getting hungry."

Peering up at him coldly, she managed to voice, "I hate you, and I want you to die."
