《grass whistle ~ poetry》Mollusc Magic

I walk on a rain soaked road

And the sun yawns as I do,

Scope to burn brighter, like me,

As noon progresses and life.

The giant cotton blanket,

Pulled off by mother wind, moon

Fades, finicky finery

As middle aged mango shines

And nature's smithy is closed,

And goes along- its masterpiece-

Moon, in whose wait, snail paces,

Slow, snaily, smiley and taupe

Vying with time and death, so

Dumb, in a maelstrom, or in

A one sided affair with

The faded silver lover

Or lost in omniscience

Or lost in its own spiral

Shell, gawping at its long path

Laughing at my longer path...
