《grass whistle ~ poetry》My Window

I decided to open my window,

After a long time,

Towards transparency

From translucency

Wishing to see the other side

I had hope in my heart

Last night's dream seemed to agree

That I had a wish

A wish to the window,

Not to a shooting star

I hoped- new light beamed in,

Lighting up my dark garden

I hoped- winds of change rushed,

Reviving my dead garden

A slight push to the window,

Gentle breeze charged in,

Reviving my dead garden,

Colouring my garden with

infinite shades!

As though a miniature spring in the moment

Suddenly- strong winds blew,

Sands o' sands

In my eyes, on my hands,

Leaves shivered in their sandy graves

Reviving- winds blew,

So did- the killing loo,

Both winds-

But different company they kept,

One water lifegiving

Other carried sand - just dry sand!

Did nature teach me never to open my window again?

Or did it teach me a lesson in life?
