《Komahina Angstpril》"I Had No Choice!"

Nidai Nekomaru is dead.
Hit over the head with a bat before being beaten to death with it. How horrible it is as well!
Everything was going so well! The hope of the Ultimates was stopping the mutual killings so why was the Ultimate Team Manager dead?!
Komaeda looks around, gauging the reaction from everyone gathering at the scene, looking for any faults, any dents in the emotional masks. He huffs, stroking his chin thoughtfully as he proceeds to survey the scene, looking for clues.
What kind of motivation would get Nidai-kun dead? Monokuma hadn't even given a motive yet, so why? This entire situation is peculiar. . .
Alright, let's get to work!
-
"Hey, Hinata-kun," Komaeda murmurs, touching the brunet's arm and making him jump, "Can we talk for a second? There's something that's been bothering me for a while."
Hinata flinches. "What? Oh, yeah, s-sure!"
Komaeda nods slightly. "Mhm. Let's talk in my cottage."
-
"Say, Hinata-kun. . .You killed Nidai-kun, didn't you?! It was you, wasn't it?"
Hinata jumps again, trying to feign confusion. "Huh?! W-What are you talking about, I would never kill anyone! Why would I?"
Komaeda grins real wide. "So it was you! You're such a bad liar, Hinata-kun! Don't worry, though, I can help you!"
Hinata frowns. "I don't need help! I-. . .Fine, I confess. But I'm just going to let myself die in the Class Trial."
Komaeda's eyes widen. "What?! No, absolutely not! There's no hope in that! I'll keep you safe. . .But, may I ask, what was your motivation for this? This is something I'll need to know. . ."
"I had no choice! He. . .He wanted to get out of here, I saw him and Souda plotting to kill you!" He explodes, "I couldn't let that happen! Not to someone I care about so much!"

Komaeda tenses, staring at him in shock. "Wh-me? You should have just let him kill me, Hinata, now you could die too! Why. . .Why would you go through all of that trouble over someone like me?!"
"Because I love you!" Hinata fires back, "And I couldn't just let you die! No matter how bad you may want it! I don't mind dying in your place!"
Komaeda's eyes narrow. "Then love has made you a fool. That should not have been your motivation," He folds his arms over his chest, "Loving someone like me will only get you killed and here it is," He sighs, turning towards the door, "I won't say a word. . .But I hope it was worth it. Goodbye, Hinata-kun."
He departs, leaving Hinata alone in his cottage. There's really no way Hinata could love him. . .A love so deep and strong that he would literally kill for him. . .
"You're such an idiot, Hinata-kun. . ."

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.

They are tasked to protect Lumenter from an old chaotic force, that previously has tried and failed to destroy Lumenter. But this trio and their teacher took a different approach on their task, where rather than making the cliche heroes party to venture out to this new brave world, they instead, or more specifically, Martyn Wulf, the brain of the trio, made a deal with the King of Albion. The deal was that Martyn, his friends, and his teacher would be protected by the Kingdom, and then making Martyn the co-ruler of Albion. In exchange he will improve and advance Albion politically, economically, diplomatically, and maybe even technologically. The King and his advisors accepted Martyn's offers but by doing this, he just plunge himself as well as his friends and teacher to a world of corruption, lies, betrayal, and greed. Either way, he must play this messed up game of chest for his survival, his friends' survival, and his teacher's survival. For more information, go to the main website! Cover by - Moccha

Life is a game, with intrusive microtransactions.
Life is a simulation. There is nothing wrong with acknowledging we are just a part of someone's dream, lines of code existing to give purpose for some machine or anything, but why would this unknown entity add microtransactions in it? Maybe because that way it can wake up faster, by consuming parts of it's dream, until... well, who cares about an unknown entity that has nothing to do with this particular story?
