《Komahina Angstpril》They Both Die At The End

Servant reaches out, taking Hinata's hand. Hinata sighs shakily in response, biting his lower lip. Servant smiles gently, reaching up with his free, gloved-hand and gently stroking his tanned cheek.
". . .I'm scared." Hinata admits.
"Don't be. It's going to be alright."
"There are former Super High School Level Hunters and Assassins after everyone-which includes us-not to mention the Warriors Of Hope after your ass. We're going to be dead within the day!" The brunet groans, anxiously wringing his hands.
Servant sighs, wrapping his arms around Hinata and holding him close. "Mmm, I'll be honest there's a very good possibility. I mean, I used up all my good luck today by getting to finally kiss you so I can't guarantee anything. . .Do you fear death, Hajime?"
Hinata hesitates for a second. ". . .For a long time I didn't. Life was meaningless, especially without talent. I got bullied and roughed up a lot. . .Life wasn't that great. And then, you know, the Tragedy and I figured I was going to die anyway. . .and then you tied me up and changed my life and since then I had reason to live. . .So, I don't fear the concept of death himself but I fear leaving this Earth and being separated from you." He admits.
Servant hums. "How sweet that I could help you out then. . .Come on, we shouldn't really stay in one place. We should keep going."
"Mhm. "

There have got to be at least four different guns pointed at the couple. Hinata holds tight to Servant's hand, not wanting to let go of him to the very end.
Their backs are literally against the wall. There's no where they can go.
". . .It's over, Remnant and Accomplice. End of the line."

Hinata takes shaky breaths as all the guns swivel to aim at him. "N-No, please! I-I didn't do anything! Neither did Servant, come on!"
But none of them listen as they fire.
Two shots hit him, one in the leg and the other in the chest, and he cries out in pain, falling to the ground. Servant gasps, falling to his knees and catching him before his head can hit the concrete.
"Hinata? Hajime! Hajime!!" Servant shakes his partner who is rapidly fading from consciousness.
The brunet reaches up to weakly cup Servant's cheeks. "Hey Servant. . ," He asks softly, "What's your real name? . . .I'd like to know at least. . .before I go."
"I'm sorry I dragged you into all of this," Servant whispers, "And. . .it's Komaeda. Komaeda Nagito."
"Komaeda Nagito. . ," He repeats thoughtfully, "What a wonderful name."
And then suddenly, his arm falls back limp as the former Reserve's heart stops beating.
Servant shakes him. "Hajime? Hajime?!"
His head shoots back up at the sound of a cocking gun, staring right into the barrel. "How dare you kill my Haji-" Is all he manages to hiss before a bullet pierces through his head, killing him instantly.
His body slumps forward, collapsing on top of Hinata as the blood continues to pour out of both of them. His hand falls on top of the brunet's, head on his chest.
Not even death would separate them.

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.

The Gothamite
Following his parents’ brutal murder, a young man sets out to find justice against a system and city that makes decent men feel the need to turn to crime. But when a man with godlike abilities arrives, he’ll need to investigate – and possibly intervene – on behalf of humanity. THE GOTHAMITE is a BATMAN-centric sidequel to The Metropolitan Man, by Alexander Wales, though it is intended to be able to stand on its own. Content Warnings will be posted alongside new chapters, which will be published weekly on Thursdays (however, since this is just now being uploaded to Royal Road, I'll be publishing a chapter every day until it's caught up with the other places it's hosted. For now, enjoy the first two chapters and the first of the Origin Stories).

Ireland, 1305. Six are called: warrior, druid, healer, scholar, harper, witch. Summoned in a dream on the Eve of May, they are charged by the Earth itself to thwart an invasion from another realm. Note that I might be over-cautious with the content warnings. "Gore" consists of some fights and people turning to stone. Sexual Content appears infrequently, is intrinsic to the story, and never graphic. Chapters to be posted every Friday and Tuesday Cover photograph courtesy of SandiePhotos www.sandiephotos.com.

The Dungeon Gods [DEAD - AWAITING REWRITE]
More than three centuries ago, the Great Mage, Arcius, Performed the single greatest feat a magician can accomplish, he looked into the future, and discovered his fate. In his visions, he discovered his reincarnation, to become a Dungeon. Desiring to rise to great heights again, even in his new life, he spent the remaining centuries he had researching and studying the strange beings called Dungeons, and devising a spell that would allow him to retain his memories. However, the very act of knowing what is to come can often be enough to alter Destiny. Impressed at the Mage's efforts, an ancient, powerful being, the Creator of Gods, has now chosen him, to become one of the Dungeon Gods of a new world in a new segment of reality. Their directive, to bring life to this new world. Follow him, as he brings forth the knowledge his efforts awarded him, and pits it against his unprepared competitors, in a bid to be the first to create sentient life. This is my first full on story, and is mostly going to be a learning experience for me. It is going to be a story following the life of Arcius as a Dungeon God, with very few POV swaps, if any. If I make any errors, either in spelling or in grammer, please let me know, and I will endevour to correct them ASAP. I was inspired to create this story after reading the Scale Dungeon, by TheSilverGunner, here on RRL. It is a good story, despite having only a few chapter out at the time of writing this. I highly recommend that you read that story if you find this one interesting.
