000. irrelevant irrelevancy.
COMMENCE, CHECK THE APPROPRIATEBOX FOR THE RIGHT ANSWER...
"Are you a legendary warrior from Olympia? ─ Are you planning to be one?"
☐ Yes.
☐ No.
☐ I've had always been told about how great the Eternals truly is from Sprite herself, how pride runs through their veins and how loyalty is tampered through their bones, she'd tell it in a way where she would project it for the other people to see using her abilities, standing proudly in the limelight as gazes are casted upon her, some children meddling, some adults checking ─ those tales never seemed to get old, and she never seemed to get tired of telling them either.
☐ Sprite even brought it to Greece, some were purely imaginations and some were true, most of the Eternals earned remarkable aliases, Icarus... the boy who flew close to the sun, Athena... Goddess of War... they mostly know of each other already, after eons and millenniums of repetitive duty and bond... I was simply an audience, watching... in jealousy? I do not know. Wonder? Perhaps.
☐ It wasn't a way to leave me out, or make me feel like I didn't belong to anything, surely, Sprite is not holding a grudge on me... I hope so... not that I know of ─ Ajak had told me multiple times that I was some sort of newly made... Eternal, since she's certain that she hadn't seen me before, do I have to understand that?
☐ I saw no glimpse of Olympia to even determine if I would ever be considered legendary there... and I had been nothing but a brisk wind, irrelevant, only there for a short period of time, kissing you softly and then leaving you behind... goodbye
☐ Yet again my place in this world is temporary, no restraints will hold me back to the mantle of the Earth, I don't think I need no memoir of what could have been me, no point of telling myths about me in the public eye, I'll let that shadow cast upon me and I will sink in the darkness of that ink, never to be written in no mans paper, never to be mentioned from no mans lips, never to be heard from no mans ears.

☑ My irrelevancy is irrelevant. I do not care about it.
☐ None of the above.
UNKNOWN, GREECE.
"WHAT'S THE MATTER,BEAUTIFUL?"
Anitun hummed at Druig who was just behind her, retracting her hands from the flowers of the meadows she was currently settling, the hyacinth eyed boy stared fondly at her figure, waiting for an answer from them...
"You've only seen my back... Druig" she faintly scolds, Anitun finally faced him, tilting her head to the side in confusion, "I don't need to see your face to know that you are upset."
Anitun closed her eyes, the wind making its way towards her, ebony hair covering her vision, concealed by the appendage, "Do I radiate negative energy today...?" she replied, murmuring in the process,
He chuckles... tucking a strand of their hair behind their ear, "It's not like that... you radiate the very same beauty... today was quite gloomy though," the two looked up to the sky... no sun was seen, and no warmth dared to barge in the walls of thick clouds that were threatening to spill rain... maybe even a thunderstorm, She sighs, "My bad..."
"It will be fine... It'll help the crops grow faster." Druig then offers a hand to help her stand up, in which she took gently, "Perhaps... I'll ask Sersi to help me plant things and such" she started to walk away,
"What about me?" Druig immediately followed and asked... bringing both his hands in his back. "What can you do?" Anitun tilts her head confusedly. "Help you plant?" was his automatic reply. "Well... How are you going to make it easier?"
"I'll mind control the humans so they could help plant things faste─"
"Druig..." she scolds... making the Eternal laugh, she changed the subject, looking around the environment. "Where are the others? And why are you here?"
"You already know... Sprite is back with the stories once again... and do you even have to ask that?" he smiled suggestively at her, glancing to her lips and back to her eyes curious eyes... she simply shook her head slowly, his smile vaguely fading, "There truly is a problem." Druig stated,

"It is nothing... just inner conflicts, Druig."
Druig raised his chin up, indicating that he wasn't going to stop with what he was doing, making Anitun squint her eyes, even with the usual measurable distance of the two... they knew one another more than anyone else ─ their eyes talked for each other, lingering gazes in every portion of the others body... and the other would feel it, goosebumps all over their body, licking their skin like soft kisses and soft endearments,
I love you(?) I love you(?) I love you(?)
"I am ready to listen,"
"It is futile." she attempts to dismiss the conversation.
He insisted. "What you think about is everything and much more to me,"
Tell me everything, I want to hear it, give it all, I will take it, your mind is for me to dive in.
Her honeycomb laced voice rang through his eardrums, waves of galloping sweetness with every scrutinizing words,
She wears her worry and her doubts like sick jewelry, so he'll take that ring, that worrisome opal.
His ears were sacred and her words were sacrilege... "Would I still be as useful even if I am not that relevant?" she murmured, crossing her arms to their chest. "You don't need to be depicted with all those silly story telling and all those starlight illustrations, you'll shine like gold in my memory"
Anitun simply nodded, she cannot find and say the right words, her eyes passing by the ionics of the temples' columns and to the gloomy sky... refusing to meet his cerulean eyes because she know she'd drown and she'll never get to the surface ever again.
"My eyes are down here, beautiful"
She'll drown.
"Thank you." was all Anitun could say.
"That is all?" Druig couldn't help but chuckle softly. "What else can I say? You give too much intricate attentions to things." Anitun shrugs... fazed by his words and actions. "Apologies, some things are just too beautiful not to be taken care of."
Anitun didn't answered, and she asked no more questions... she doesn't have to, she's contented with the answer given to her, she's fine with being irrelevant, the overshadowed individual of their miraculous team,
Maybe being secretive of who she is wouldn't be bad... what else is she going to lose? As long as she's with him... she'll be fine.
They were both basking in the sun that was now passing through the thin clouds, yet he still felt the coldness in her presence.
"So... are we still going to plant?" He asked expectantly, "Sure."
Druig immediately nodded, trying his hardest not to grin widely at her answer.
It was barely winter, barely snowing in the plains of Greece, but her voice sends shivers and he could feel himself pondering from her soft snowflake touch.
Anitun was his January, his winter, his vigor, vitality, his beautiful, beautiful inconspicuous star... and should he be glad that she only shines for him?
Yes, maybe.
If Druig was a poet he would've wrote what he felt right there and now, on how much it felt everything and one thing at the same time, it was pure domestic bliss as the sun disappeared in the brightness of the Greek sunset,
But then again he isn't, he was simply a being who is in deeply and utterly in love... he doesn't have the skill to write such meaningful words even if he wanted to, even if Anitun was someone who is truly worthy of heed and recognition,
There he would write about her in ostrakas from vases which used to hold pretty flowers but he'd still make good use of them and perhaps wooden tablets white with gypsum and red with his deep affection for her, same words in boustrophedon describing her preeminence, and her beauty.
All he could do was stare at his panache eyed ( soon to be ) lover... if she drowned in his cerulean orbs, he'd bury himself to her dark terracotta eyes.
My love... your lips are velveteen but your heart is sea blue ─ may I kiss you? May I take that worry out of your chest? Check the appropriate box for the right answer... please. Please let me love you.
Anitun was finally calm and collected.
☑ Yes, of course.

Red Street Daybreak
August Samuel Hatch was born under an inauspicious pattern of stars. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system. Completed, but being actively edited prior to posting! I'm the only captain on this ship, so mind any errors.
