My heart has shattered

Not able to be counted

By man

And yet I must

Smile

And go to school

And pretend the last

Four and a half months

Of my life

Have been full of

Hope of something

That will never be

I think I am still

In shock

For the tears have not

Come to the surface

But my body has

Starred

To tremble
