《Monster》Chapter 3

"JunMyeon!" Kai squeaked again making goosebumps rise over Suho's skin a little. "Does Sehun know? well obviously he would, I'm guessing he was the first one you told about the baby, right? and who else knows? Jun tell me!" Kai spoke ecstatically, he was truly happy for Suho and Sehun and he couldn't contain his emotions to himself.
"Uh," Suho fumbled, he wasn't quite sure how he was going to tell Kai that his husband doesn't even know that he is pregnant. "Sehun ..h-he doesn't really know.." Suho mumbled in a shy voice bowing his head down.
"What ?" Kai asked because what the heck ever Suho had just mumbled out of his mouth wasn't clear to him what so ever. "Sehun doesn't know..." "Suho !" Kai slightly rose his voice from shock, How could Sehun not know? How long had Suho even been pregnant? "How long have you been pregnant Suho?" he asked raising his eyebrow.
"Two weeks and two days..." "That's um.." "slightly more than half a month yeah..." Suho whispered.
"And when did you find out about the baby?" Kai questioned. "Two days ago, I went to the hospital with Xiumin ..."
"And not Sehun ?"
"No..he was at work.."
"That bastard!" Kai rose his volume again, he had known Sehun and Suho for almost nine years now and he was tired of seeing Suho get mistreated by Sehun -heck mistreated, Suho was like invisible to Sehun . If you asked Sehun what was important he would say his job in a heartbeat even if that meant he had to leave Suho(as of what Kai thought and assumed). "Ka-"
"No Suho just no, I swear to god I'm going to beat that asshole's butt, enough is enough Suho ! You're bloody pregnant you're fucking carrying his baby in your belly and he doesn't know? huh let me guess he might have been busy with his 'work' and hadn't paid attention to you so you could tell him!" Kai spat getting up from the couch and paced back and fourth around the living room making Suho worried and scared a little. "I-I'm planning on telling him today at dinner, he'll understand Kai .."

"He better! God Suho why do you even keep up with him, fuck if I were you I would have left his sorry ass three years ago when he started this whole entrepreneur thing!" Kai spoke in anger. Suho sighed getting up and walked over to Kai placing his hand on the taller lad's shoulder and giving it a little squeeze. "It's because I love him Kai , I can never think about leaving him, even though of all that he does, he's still the same to me." Suho spoke smiling and Kai sighed. "I'll never understand you Jun." He chuckled as a sly smile formed onto his face too.
"Hey ! you're saying it like you're not head over heels over Chanyeol huh?" Suho teased Kai as he lit up at the mention of his lovely husband.
"Ah Chanyeol, Man he's something, even after all these years of being together I come home to find the same amount of love and affection towards him and obviously our little baby kookie." Kai spoke blushing.
"Now that's love, and oh that reminds me, how's kookie? haven't seen him in days might have grown now eh?"
"Ah yes, he's moma's little bugger, keeps pulling my ear and making fart noises using his arm, thanks to you." Kai rolled his eyes.
"Hey , that's what uncles are off- to ruin their nephews and yeah he's my little sweetheart!" Suho chuckled remembering how he had taught the little five year old how to do that.
"Let me tell you something, having a kid would change your life ya'know? It would be the best thing ever, expect for changing the diapers." Kai grinned patting Suho back and he nodded rubbing a hand over his currently flat belly.
"Now don't get me all emotional , l'm going to start on my hormones soon anyways, better get me ready for the dinner now right? Gotta tell the hubby about the bun in the oven." Suho joked making Kai laugh who nodded as they both headed inside the bedroom.
„
"That with that?" Suho wrinkled his nose looking at the black shirt and washed out blue pants, "Nah ." he shook his head.

Kai sighed, it had been almost forty-five minutes and Suho still wasn't agreeing to any clothing Kai was picking out for him.
"For fucks sake Jun just pick something!" Kai barked.
"Alright alright, um.. hand me the white shirt and Sehun's black knee ripped skinny jeans please?" Suho asked Kai.
"If you were going to pick an outfit yourself why did you even call you, ya goon?" Kai groaned throwing the clothes at Suho who giggled.
"Because I was bored." He stuck his tongue out and Kai mimicked the same followed by rolling his eyes afterwards.
Suho finally changed and Kai did his hair-mainly just sprayed the hairspray and teased it a bit until it was satisfactory to Suho.
"Alright and done." Kai breathed out looking at Suho standing in front of him, white formal shirt with top two buttons open with Sehun's jeans hanging tight around Suho's buttocks and to finish off white converse on which Suho had made two winky-face smiley's.
"I think i did a good job." Kai smirked and Suho nodded, he really did.
The doorbell rang obtaining both the lads attentions and Kai clapped, it was about time Sehun was supposed to be home to take Suho out for dinner. "Alright then, i'm off now, good luck with telling Sehun about the baby 'kay? and please call me afterwards and tell me how it goes so i can decide to pay the mafia to come kick Sehun's butt or leave him be." Kai joked and Suho nodded as they hugged and Kai walked out the bedroom.
He was greeted with Sehun on his way out and he grunted looking at Sehun who was confused by Kai's crude expression towards him but shrugged it off walking inside the bedroom to find his ready to go husband.
"You look great Myeonie ." Sehun kissed Suho on the lips, which made Suho blush because he hadn't done that in a while and Suho really did miss psychical contact with him. "Give me five minutes let me get freshened up and then we'll go." Sehun spoke and Suho nodded.
After Sehun had freshened and changed into a fresh pair of clothes, they both headed to Suho's favorite restaurant.
As Sehun had already made reservations they got in without any waiting and sat on their respective seats, soon the food they had ordered came their way and their little dinner was going pretty much perfectly as Suho had thought this was the perfect moment to tell Sehun about the baby, he started off slow by first talking about the dinner. "This is perfect, thanks baby." Suho smiled wiping his face with the napkin.
"It's my way of apologising for being rude to you last night love, I remember you had something important to share with me, so you can now because I'm all yours." Sehun said taking a drink of his water. Suho blushed, "I went to the doctors two days ago and they did certain checks and it seems that i-" Suho got cut at the sound of Sehun 's phone buzzing, Sehun mumbled a sorry before picking up the phone.
"Hello?....Yeah speaking.....What?.....That fucker.....Shit.....Now?.....Uh...Fine.....Alright then......Thanks.......Yeah.......Bye." Sehun spoke while on the phone as Suho was fiddling with his fingers.
"Love ?"
"Yeah?" Suho looked up at Sehun . "Something come up at work, I'm.. I- I really am sorry but I have to leave this urgent it's really important i'm sorry I'll come home so you can tell me that afterwards okay babe? i love you and I'm really sorry." Sehun rose from his seat and planted an eskimo kiss on Suho's lips.
"But-"
"I'm really sorry love, sorry, i've texted the driver he'll come pick you up 'kay? Love you bye" Sehun said as he pulled out bills from his wallet leaving them on the table and walked out of the restaurant.
"I'm pregnant." Suho spoke to nobody but himself.
Sehun had left him again, and this time with a broken heart and glossy eyes.

Someday, he’ll find where his family went. Someday, he’ll uphold his end of the bargain and hunt beings powerful beyond anything he’s ever known. Someday, he might even – hatch? “CHEEP!?” Things to Know: -Cheep!? Will release on a minimum weekly schedule. -After a backlog of chapters, posting will slow, but in the interim you can expect a chapter a day up until roughly 25 chapters. -This story at times will potentially carry some heavy moments, but the tone is intended to be lighter overall. -There are invisible game-like elements in this story, but nothing so concrete as a dedicated gamelit novel. -I personally have some issues with anxiety, so I may or may not interact with the community a lot. I'll try if anyone has questions, but I can't guarantee that it'll be consistent. -MC is a non-human lead, and will never actually become human. Romance will potentially happen between side-characters, but not with the MC. -MC IS NOT THE ONLY VIEW POINT. I have to put that out there because people sometimes hate alternate PoV's in a story. None of them will be filler, and they'll be there only to give a little bit more nuance and meaning to the world that the MC has stepped in, or is about to be imminently important. I'll try to keep them down, but this also helps to prevent me from burning out getting trapped in one view. -Most of all, I hope that this story is enjoyable to you, and that you have a great time reading it! -Written by Michael Adams, Cowritten/Edited by Summer Kent

Crimson Gloom
Crimson Gloom. The time when the moon turns crimson, illuminating the landscape with its crimson glow. The time when the ‘doors’ to the Crimson Abyss open. One shall gaze into the abyss and gain its secrets and powers. Concurrently, the abyss also gazes into oneself, gaining one’s sanity and humanity. Dimensional rifts appeared spontaneously on Earth, bringing otherworldly demons along with the Crimson Gloom. Bloody battles were fought, noble sacrifices were made. Humans eventually sealed the rifts and successfully defended their homeworld. Alas, the seals were not perfect. The Crimson Abyss continued to exist, slowly influencing Earth and its inhabitants. Half a century of relatively uneventful years passed… humanity slowly descended into corruption, and the majority of them knew nothing of the effects of the Crimson Abyss. Is there only the dreadful gloom left to the world? Can one find brightness in the increasingly gloomy world? The youth who had gazed into the Crimson Abyss had no answer, nor did he care. He only wanted the Crimson Gloom to end, to forever seal the Crimson Abyss. A mistake and a twist of fate led the youth into a seemingly totally different direction. Will he forget his lifelong goal? Will he instead step back onto his initial path that he fervently pursued? Disclaimer: I do not own the image on the cover. Image edited on canva.com.
