I woke up and went to grab Dream when I realised he wasn't there. I opened my eyes and he wasn't even in the room at all. "Babe...?" I looked all around the house and there was no sine of Dream. 'What if something happened... what if he wanted us to break up but had no heart to actually say it... what if he didn't want me anymore..'
I couldn't control the voice in my head. I just kept on believing every situation that came into my mind.
I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that I didn't hear the door open and bags drop.

As I walked in I saw George with his head in his hands sobbing and breathing very heavy. 'Shit I forgot to tell him...' "Ba-" Just as I went to speak I heard him say, "He doesn't love me does he.." It hurt to hear him say that when I tell him every single day that I love him.
"Yes I do love you. You know that.." I walked up to him and sat next to him. "You know that I love you..." "Y-You do...?" "Yes of course. Why wouldn't I? Your amazing." "You pro-promise?" "Of course baby. I love you so much. Now calm down and go back to sleep." I pulled George on top of me and held him close, stroking and rubbing his back to make him feel better.

Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature.
