No one's pov:
As Sasha started to get ready to leave, she got her keys and jacket, placed them in her bag, and started to change out of her uniform. The plex has a locker room separated in two, for different gender. So as she got ready, putting her pants on, she heard some noise coming from somewhere in the looker room. Shrugged it off, as Sasha continued to look for her things. She was buttoning her shirt up when she felt something, or, someone staring at her. By this, she got spooked and started to hurry up as she wanted to leave right away. Finally Sasha had gotten all her stuff and hurried out the door paranoid.
Sasha's pov:
I keep getting this weird feeling of being stared at, it's creeping me out. Lately some security guard kept on starring at me these past few days, everytime I walk in and out of the Plex, they just stare with smirks all icer their faces, looking all over my body. It's creepy. As I made my way to leave, I had remembered I left my phone in the daycare, so I went back to get it. I pass this hallway that was in construction because of the floors, its dark, and... and silent. Then I heard some noise coming from the hallway, I got curious, but I ignored it. As I turn my head foward to keep going, I'm suddenly grabbed from behind. I struggle to breathe as I'm being dragged into the dark hallway. "Hey l-let me go!!!" I struggle to say while there was a hand covering my mouth. "Shhhhh, just be a good girl and stay quiet." Said the man.
No one's pov:
Sasha started kicking and punching anywhere just to set herself free from the man, "Stop struggling, idiots I need help over here!" Shouted the man as two more sets of footsteps where heard comming into their deraction. As they all struggled to keep Sasha still, she was suddenly punched in the stomach, suddenly her movements slowed and calmed down as the pain started to kick in. Sasha didn't passed out though. But that was enough for the three security guards to finally drag her away.

Moments later Sahsa's view came back clear, just to see one of the guys pinning her into the wall. "P-please let me go!! Begged Sasha as fear rose in her. "Nah, i just want to have some fun~" Said the man. Sasha was scared and then kicked the man pinning her, in his croch witch made him let go of her. She took this opportunity to flee. The man who got kicked was on the ground in pain. As Sasha ran, she was grabbed from behind and slammed to the floor. "N-no please, I just wanna go home!!" Cried out Sasha as tears started to form in her eyes. "Eh, you sure put a fight," "don't be scared, we'll be as as possible" Said the men as one of them grabbed her shirt and ripped it as the buttons flew off hitting the around. She started hitting the man as she tried to get him off her.
Earlier:
As Moon was headed to the looker room, he wanted to really, apologize for all he'd done to Sasha as he felt guilty for doing it. He just wanted to protect her, keep her safe from others. He didn't mean to hit her. That was just something that wasn't meant to happen. He turned a corner and then heard somethings falling to the floor, sounded almost like small beeds. He turned to the corner from where the sound had come from. He adjusted his eyes and turned on his night vision to see. His eyes widen as he saw three men on sahsa trying to rape her.
Sasha began sobbing as one of the men started to suck on her neck, she closed her eyes in fear. But suddenly she felt the man was off her, as she opened her eyes, she saw Moon's red eyes. He had lifted up the security guard that was on top of her and threw him at the end of the hallway. Moon was in rage when he had seen them trying to kiss her. Moon was then hit from behind with a random mental pole. He only then turned his head to face the security guard and then turned his whole body and punched him in the face. The man went flying to the ground.

Sasha only saw in shock as all three men kept on trying to hit moondrop with metal poles as they where just thrown off and punched many times. One of them lifted up Sasha from the ground and wrapped one arm around her neck, and the other arm pointed a gun in her head. Said moondrop as he walked closer toward them. "S-STAY AWAY!!! OR-OR I WILL SHOOT HER FUCKING HEAD OFF!!! Yelled the man in fear as Moon got closer to them. Sasha then bit the security guard in his arm. Said moondrop as Sasha ducked from Moondrop's swinging arm. He punched the man to the ground, and then lifted him up pinning him by the neck to the wall. Then proceeded to punch him mercilessly.
As blood spattered all over the floor, two voices where heard shouting at him "MOONDROP STOP!!!" Screamed Sasha, and next to her was Mark in disbelief as he saw blood everywhere and moondrop covered in it. "M-mondrop let h-him down, now" demanded Mark as he slowly walked over to him. Moondrop stopped, but didn't take his eyes of the guard. Then he finally let go of him, but threw him against the wall with a crunching sound coming from the security guard as he slid down to the ground. Moondrop's eyes where now on Mark, as he slowly reached down to chek if all three guards where alive, thankfully, they where still breathing.
Moondrop didn't take his eyes of him as he checked the guards, but then he met eyes with Sahsa, as he saw her eyes, they were full of fear and shock at what he had just done. Moondrop looked down at his hands where coverd in blood. He then felt something wrapping his waist. He looked down to see Sasha was hugging him. Sasha looked up and showed a small smile, "T-Thank you Moon" a small tear came out of his eye as he wrapped his arms around Sasha, then lifting her up.
He leaned against the wall and then slid down with Sasha still in his arms. Mumbled moondrop quietly as he looked at Mark still with the guards. "Because your moondrop, the one who will always keep me safe" "Yea, you did hurt me, but... you also saved me from those three." Pointed Sasha. ""Don't you get it? I forgive you moondrop, I've always have and always will!" Chukled out Sahsa. ""Just take the dam apology moondrop" laughed out Sasha as she snuggled into Moondrop's warm arms witch had heat sensor. " Asked moondrop looking at him in confusion. "Oh! He gave it to me, to cover up." "Said moondrop looking down at her, then smiled.

A lot of new content has been added to the early chapters since the end of May. The first chapters are still under construction and editing, but all the major changes are done. I was a webnovel junkie for a long time, but I found it hard to find novels with solid characters, decent plot, philosophical underpinnings and a fully painted world to keep me going. I've taken from every genre I've liked to make a story that satisfies my own cravings for a good story. If you like the story or have suggestions please leave a comment or review. I hope this novel is fun, provocative but above all fun. Enjoy. Yours truly, James Paul Addington PS I will release at least two chapters a week, or one really long chapter. Concerning the tags: The story is primarily Fantasy with Wuxia influence in some elements. Romance won't happen for the first two arcs or so (roughly 40 chapters), I want to build the world before I do that. Tragedy is because of an event that occurs in the book, not the tone of the book. The book is more lighthearted. Slice of Life doesn't occur till the third arc (the romance happens during that arc as well). Magic will also show up more in later arcs, but appears throughout. Reincarnation it's not a reincarnation like in the traditional sense, but it has a similar concept.

BODY&SHADOW
AN ILLUSTRATED NOVEL • UPDATES TUESDAY AND FRIDAY In a time before living memory, the King Dragon of the Void watched the world and realized there was a crack. He realized that humanity was destroying the rock upon which they lived; they leaked life’s code into the churning chaos. At first the change was imperceptible: nanites overtook microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, amoebas. Insects became increasingly inorganic; birds and lizards followed soon after. Even humans were infected by their own advances, cell by cell, till there was not a person left on earth who wasn’t at least part synthetic, the product of a prior generation’s carelessness. The world’s population was ravaged by mechanical viruses with no vaccines; they were mercilessly overtaken by bacteria that knew no death. Soon, most of the planet was empty and only a handful remained who remembered the hedonist realm they came from; only a few were left who remembered what the world looked like when their buildings touched the sky. The King Dragon of the Void watched the rock turn. He watched humans cower as the Old World fell down around them; watched their great monuments crumble into dusty ruins; watched their codes become precious, ancient gem memories forged under the crushing pressure of so many fallen stones. The world has spun many times around the sun since chaos swallowed man whole. It is a simpler time than the one that died out, but the people now are not immune to the folly of the people before. There is old code everywhere: in the water, in the air, in the trees. The heart of man has been replaced by power cores, many of which are hard-coded with preternatural abilities—when they die, an esoteric mountain sect collects their cores and stores them in their hollow mountain home to preserve the sanctity and dignity of human death. They’ve learned to harness artifacts of the old world, gemstones full of codes their nanite infused bodies can parse as spells imbuing their users with great power; they inlay them into their bodies, into their skins, connected to their cores by copper conduit and gold tracers; they dress themselves in tattoos to advertise their prowess; they battle for relics in arenas, fight for them in the open world wherever they are found. The King Dragon of the Void watches the rock turn and wonders: when will this hunger finally make the rock stop spinning? WELCOME TO FANXING CITY … Twenty-five years ago, Fanxing City and the surrounding lands were commanded by the mad King Zao Beiguan. For many years, the King hoarded wealth, artifacts, food; he demanded tribute from a people already taxed to the edges of their existence and expected they be happy with their circumstances. Noncompliance was often punished harshly, bodies displayed proudly on Fanxing’s streets as a warning, from the city gates to the Zao palace’s golden doors. The youths of several prominent clans came together to overthrow the tyrant and made names for themselves as legendary heroes across the land: Tian, Ren, Feng, Gui, Ma, and Zhenxi. Even wanderers from the Luanshi sect descended from Yunji mountain to aid the rebellion. When the dust settled after three years, Tian Yunyong ascended the throne of Fanxing and swore to honour his slain father’s memory, and has maintained Fanxing’s peace with generosity and mercy where fear and cruelty once reigned.
