A year ago, I had absolutely no idea where my life was headed. I was in the darkest possible place I'd ever been in. And today, on Christmas Eve and my brother's birthday, I'm releasing my first official album, AUGUST. This record has been in the making for the better part of my life. All it took was a few people to believe in me to make it happen. I want to thank Jack and Sam and Laurel and Jamie without whom this album would not exist. A certain miss Dorothea Grey who made all of this possible in the first place. And thank you to Ryne. I wouldn't be who I turned out to be without the brother you were to me. Thank you for helping me tell this story.

This is a story with chapters on love and loss and the passage of time and growth and just being human. I hope I can at least reach one person who can relate to it in any way. Thank you for all your love and support.
