Hey guys! It's August here! I'm in my best friend's grandma's living room right now, which is pretty cool, it always smells like flowers in here. Anyway, uh, first of all I'd to thank you all for the unbelievable amount of support and hype the album's been getting way before it's actual release. And the single that came out last week already has so many streams... I can't even believe that's happening. It's already on so many playlists on Spotify... it's just fucking awesome, you know? So, thank you.

I'm going to be playing a couple of songs for you guys, just me and my guitar. Well, and my keyboard, too. Oh! And Phoebe's here! She's my number one fan, and my number one stalker.

So, this first song, Let's Fall In Love for the Night... I wrote it pretty late in the album-making journey. I think it was one of the last couple songs we added. Like most of them, actually, it just sort of wrote itself. It was pretty late at night and I was sitting with a friend, just fucking around on the guitar and it just happened. Did it have anything with that friend being in that same room...? maybe.

[August let out a sheepish chuckle, pushing her hair back nervously. Why would she say that on a live recording?]
