Two days. They've been chasing Emir Yilmaz, a leader of a terrorist group, who caused the incident in Greece. He led them through Berlin to Munich and Stuttgart on a never ending wild hunt. The bastard was good at hiding and very efficient at running.

Gideon was fed up to say the least. He already clashed with Kaiser Reinhardt - the German Boss - multiple times in the last 48 hours. He didn't like the sick fucker but the man loved buying his weapons and he was rich - old money rich. Which made him a good and valuable client.

But, still Gideon wanted to blow his head into bits.

High cheekbones, thick lips and sharp, hooded blue eyes and finished with mousy hair - he was nothing but a pretty boy. A pretty boy with a bad temper and skilled at holding a knife.

Kaiser knelt on the chest of Emir's subordinates. They had caught him on their last chase, thrown to them like food to a pride of lions by Emir to stall them while he escaped into a van. Kaiser spat in German, profanities and obscenity, anger threaded in his voice.

"Germany is mine!" He roared, "You should only follow my rule not his."

Raising is blade, he pressed the sharp edges against his neck and slowly cut him there. Dragging the knife along as if he was writing on expensive, handmade paper. They watched the life leaving the man's eyes as Kaiser hit a prominent vein.

Blood bursted out, gushing over the arm of his jacket and his slacks.

"Stupid fuck." Kaiser mumbled standing up, shaking his hands as if it would clear him of the blood. "Gave no information about Emir's location. I wonder what they're being paid."

"Divide and conquer, I say." Tobias stepped forward, cigar in hand.

"I'm not letting you two crazy motherfuckers wander my territory." Kaiser scoffed, wiping his hands with a towel he taken from his bag.

They were in a massive warehouse, dark and abandon. A usual hiding place for men on the run. But, they always get caught. Emir will follow the same fate.

A humvee in matte black backed into the warehouse and they climbed into the back. Gideon slumped opposite Tobias who emitted a totally different aura. No longer was he the playboy who didn't give a shit, who was dressed immaculately. He was rougher around the edges, crinkled clothing and darker stubble, hinting he hadn't had a shave in awhile.

What happened? Did he end up pulling through with plans of killing his father?

"Fuck, do you ever stop smoking?" Kaiser grumbled at Tobias, pinning him down with a narrow gazed.

Tobias was smoking a $1 million apiece of Gurkha Royal Courtesan Cigar. He was basically smoking gold.

Gideon clenched his jaw and tighten his fist to stop the urge of punching the fucker in the face. For two days, he has ran his mouth, not knowing when to stop. Tobias merely gave Kaiser the finger before tilting his head back and closing his eyes.

Fishing out his phone, he scowled as he saw the time. It was nearly 2am and they had no leads.

Then his frustration ceased when saw the picture of Rory on his screen. His thoughts drifted to her. wondering what she was doing right now, was she sleeping alright without him?

"She's pretty." Kaiser admired, grinning smugly at the photo of his wife. "I heard you got married to a young girl. Is she keeping your virility alive?"

"Fuck you, Kaiser." Gideon spat, pressing the urge to put a bullet in his brain. The fucker was worth more alive than dead.

"I bet the sex is great." He laughed, "I love a good and tight little pussy." He frowned all of a sudden, "Though not sure how tight my woman's pussy will be after she gives birth."

"You're married?" Gideon and Tobias said in unison.

"No, I don't believe in that bullshit." He huffed, "But I'll marry her soon, after she gives birth, to please my family. I just didn't want to fuck a whale on my wedding night."

Kaiser rolled his eyes at their expression. These two were old, meaning they still held the tradition of marriage, viewed it as something important. To him it was just an inconvenience, tying himself to one woman and only fucking her for the rest of his life. Fuck no, he thought.

Contrary to his belief, however, he hadn't fucked anyone else since he gotten her pregnant.

The humvee jerked to a stop and they climbed out. They were at one of Kaiser's private bases housing his planes, vehicles and armoury. It even had its own landing pad and runway. Neon lights illuminated a path for them as they treaded along the concrete, towards a plane hangar.

Sebastian approached him and a blank expression on his usually expressive face, twisted his stomach unpleasantly.

"What?" He hissed.

Sebastian handed him his phone, Juan was on the line.

"Hello."

"Hola, Señor." Gideon sensed the uneasiness in Juan's voice instantly.

"Spit it out."

He just wanted to heard it, to heard what didn't have to be spoken. Because he already knew.

"The señora has disappeared." He said, "We cannot find her anywhere."

Gideon ended the call. Juan's confirmation that she was gone was all he needed to hear.

He glanced at Sebastian who observed him cautiously knowing that he calmness was him reeling in his rage. Keeping contained at manageable level before he exploded.

"Her tracker said she's still on the estate." He informed, stoically. "But they found her ring on her dresser."

Gideon said nothing.

"Men have been dispatched in Medellín to look for her." Sebastian continued. He didn't fear Gideon and witnessed many of his outbursts before. The calmness was what was unsettling. So, the next sentences were hard for him to uttered. "She was last seen with Alvaro, they drove the Tesla out of the estate together."

Something flash in his eyes but it was gone as quick as it came. He was a void, a black abyss of nothing. Right now, Gideon intended to capture Emir then he'll deal with his wife and her partner in crime later. He needed to take it all one step at a time or else, his judgement was clouded.

Kaiser, now in a fresh new suit, propped down on a chair close to him. A smug smile playing on his lips.

"The younger they are the harder they are to control." He teased.

Gideon tighten and loosen his fists in an attempt to hold himself back. Nothing would be more satisfying then to ramp his fist repeatedly into Kaiser's obnoxious face. He can't afford the violence especially not on his territory.

Kaiser's men outnumbered his and Tobias. After loosing a handful of soldiers in the last couple f months, Tobias cannot risk losing more. Hence, won't help.

Especially over a petty brawl.

"My woman used to ran away every chance she could." He shrugged, leaning back in his chair. "Do you want to know what I did to her? To stop her from running?"

The atmosphere remained silent, waiting for him to speak.

"I twisted her ankles after she tried her fifth attempt." He chuckled, lowly and darkly. "And while she healed, I tied her up and fuck until she the doctors confirmed she was pregnant." He glanced at Gideon, he was watching with interest. "I've only untied her a couple of weeks ago. Pregnant woman can't run fast, you know."

Kaiser was laughing, crackling as if he had cracked the world's funniest jokes. The imagine of his woman running, or rather waddling, while she cradled her belly was hilarious. Once he got home, he had to ask her to try it, run away.

"You're a sick fucker." Tobias rasped.

Gideon remained quiet, pondering.

"Once you think of another way to control your woman let me know." Kaiser snapped back.

"That's enough," Gideon growled.

They were wasting time. This chased needed to end so he could get back to his wife, before she was out of reach.

An announcement interrupted her peaceful sleep. She was in the arms of her mother where nothing, not even her nightmares, reached her. She awoke to the soft stroking of her mother's fingers against her hair. She was smiling down at her, her green eyes twinkling in the dim light of the aircraft.

"How did you sleep?" She murmured, pulling Rory to her chest.

"Good." She whispered, groggily. It was the best sleep she had in awhile.

Rory glanced over at Alvaro who was watching everything warily. The attendants and even the passengers around them. She touched his arm, his gaze fixated on her and he slackened.

She wondered why he was so tensed. They were in the air and miles away from Colombia. Rory rested her head against his arms, curling into the side of his body.

"Thank you." She whispered. "You've risked everything for me. Thank you, Alvaro."

He lowered his head, resting it against hers and a kaleidoscope of emotions exploded in his heart. There was no reason to be afraid anymore. He could have her to himself.

Their plane landed in Madrid and they disembarked, following the crowd to their next gate. Rory sat with her mother on the row of chairs, waiting for their new plane to come in. Her mother was fascinated by everything she saw and watched it all with a sparkle in her eyes.

This was the first time they were travelling together though, Rory wished their circumstances were different. That she wasn't running away from her husband - just a girl on holiday with her mother.

Just as Rory was about to boast about flying on a private jet, her thoughts drifted to Gideon - almost uttering his name in front of her mother. She tightened her lip and pushed the image out of her head.

Alvaro stood from his seat, "I'm hungry. Do you want anything to eat?" He asked them. "I'll go grab us something."

"Anything is fine." Rory nodded, smiling softly.

Alvaro trotted away with his bag, his signature cap back atop of his head.

"He's a nice boy." Her mother poked her side, winking.

"He's a friend." She explained. She laced their fingers, resting her head on her mother's slender shoulders.

Rory noticed how thin she had become. She was pale and could barely walk long distances without help. It made her wondered who brought her to the airport in Medellín. Once they reached Italy, she was going to question Alvaro, milking as much information out of him as possible.

"Do you not want him as your boyfriend?" She asked, peering at her daughter.

"No." Rory quickly answered. She couldn't, not when she was still married to Gideon.

However, Rory Whitmore was the one who married Gideon. She wasn't her anymore. She had a new identity, she could marry someone else and be happy. She grimace at the thought and the feeling of betrayal and guilt invaded her heart.

Why was she feeling it? She was betraying no one and what was she feeling guilty for? She had done nothing wrong.

More people gathered at their gate, it was close to boarding time and Alvaro was nowhere in sight. Then, the attendants began calling their seat numbers and they were next.

"Mom let's go." Rory said, helping her mother to her feet. Alvaro had his own ticket, he'd meet them onboard.

They waited in line while the attendants checked everyone's ticket. Excitement danced on her skin, they were so close to Italy now.

Italy. She always wanted to go and perhaps once things settled down, they could explore the rest of Europe. Her insides practically squealed in elation.

They moved up the line, only a few heads from the attendants checking the tickets.

"Señora Torres?"
