《My Princess》Chapter 41: Isabella

October 16, Friday
Kennedy, the little girl, brought me over to this bush. She hid perfectly behind it but I had to hide behind a tree that was right next to it. I was still able to talk to her.
We had been hiding for 5 minutes until someone found me then found her. After that she said she was tired and wanted to go to her mom. So I carried her back to the pack house where people were still dancing like there was no tomorrow.
I went up to a group of women that looked older. Maybe they would know who her mom was? "Hi, I'm Isabella. I was wondering if any of you knew her mom. She's very tired." I say with a small laugh looking down at the girl close to drooling. They all laugh a little to.
"She's over there with the blue dress." One of the women say. I thank them then walk over to the women. She immediately gets up and takes her from my arms. "I was so worried. I thought she had ran off somewhere." The mom says petting her daughter.
"We were playing hide and sneak but then we got caught and she got tired." I say as the women holds her tightly.
Abruptly Dean comes over to me and grabs my arm harshly pulling me. "Come on. I've been looking for you everywhere." He says with a groan.
"Why, what's wrong?" I say trying to remove my arm from his tight grip. He drags me into the pack house out to the front yard where a small groups of people were.
He finally lets go of my arm and pushes me towards the group. I stumble slightly but stand up to see Grayson and another man. Justin.
Grayson looks up at me past all of the people with a pissed off face. Maybe I can just tiptoe out of here. That was until Dean grabbed me again and brought me over to Grayson. Why did I have to be here?

"Oh look who it is. The beautiful and innocent Isabella." Justin says with an evil grin. I feel my body revolt at his face. Grayson growled loudly stepping in front of me. I held onto Graysons arm trying to somehow calm him down. Which wasn't helping.
"If you do not leave, there will be blood. I promise you. The only reason I haven't ripped your head off and put it on a pole yet is because of our celebration." Grayson says with venom running out of his mouth. Blood was the last thing I wanted to see tonight.
"I just came to say hello. I wanted to stay for awhile." Justin says looking at the small amount of people behind him. I'm guessing those were his pack members. They looked small and scrawny personally. Compared to the guys I've seen around here.
"Justin please just leave. Can't you torment each other later." I say finally getting annoyed. It was Graysons birthday for the love of god. Grayson's body tensed even harder than it was. This wasn't going to end well.
Now I felt nervous.
"Oh Isabella, I didn't know you were a beggar." Justin says making my heart pound. I stumble backwards on to the ground as Graysons clothes are shredded from his body and his bones crack. Quickly hair grows over his body and his nails and teeth extend. His wolf.
Grayson then lunged at Justin giving him no time to change into his wolf. Blood drenched Graysons teeth making me almost have a heart attack.
Other wolfs started to transform but I didn't get to see much more as Cara picked me up and dragged me away. "Grayson!" I yell but I was already to far away. Was he going to kill Justin?
Cara pushes me all the way to Graysons house somehow. I barely remember even passing the pack house. I don't remember seeing the lights.
"Isabella. Please do what I say and just wait in Graysons room. I promise you he is fine but I need to go see what's going on. Please stay here." Cara says frantically to me. I nod my head slowly feeling unsure. I wanted to be by Graysons side but I was a weak human and I will always be.

Cara runs off transforming into her wolf. I watch from Graysons porch as she runs off towards the pack house. I just feel like I'm useless. There's nothing I can do to help. At least I should go check on the people in the house and back yard. There's kids out there.
But Cara said not to leave. It's not like there were a lot of wolves anyways. None that Graysons couldn't take on. Deciding to listen to Cara I stay at Graysons. But I'm not going into the house. I'm going to wait for him to get back no matter how long it takes.
I wait there for I don't know how long. I can hear the distance growls and the sounds of whimpers. I was worried but Grayson was strong and I knew that.
When something started to approach Graysons house I started to freak out. There's no way a wolf got past Grayson. As I back up closer to the front door Graysons large wolf appears in front of the lights. I sigh in relief that he was ok.
Surprising me Grayson turns quickly into his human form. I yelp and turn the other direction before I can see anything.
I can hear Grayson's loud footsteps come closer to me as I'm turned the other way. His big hands twist me to face him. I keep my eyes up looking into Graysons eyes. He still looked very angry.
"Why aren't you in the house. Cara told you to wait in my room." Grayson says roughly. Well yes she did say to go to his room but also she wanted me to stay here and I did.
"She said I had to stay here. I'm still alive aren't I." I say with a huff. Grayson grips my chin making me look up at him.
"I heard your heartbeat pick up when I was coming towards you. If it had been any other wolf, they would have torn you to pieces." Grayson then let's go of my chin harshly and walks into the house. I didn't like mad Grayson.
Now that I'm mad I decide to go back to the pack house. I wanted to see if there was any dead bodies laying around and also help clean up. Grayson did say I would be running the pack to.
Once I get to the front of the pack house I see nobody. Everyone had left and the only thing left were paw prints in the dirt. The lights in the pack house were still on so I went inside.
"Isabella, what are you doing back here so late?" Marry asks me as she picks up a paper plate. There were some other girls helping her clean up as well so at least she wasn't alone.
"I came to help clean up." I say grabbing a trash bag. Marry looks surprised but doesn't say anything as I start to pick trash up. The other girls then started to take the lights down from the back yard first.
I swear Grayson can make me feel every emotion at once. He can make me scared for his life one second then make me mad at him the next. Then there's when he touches me. Just the way his hands know exactly what to do drives me insane.
I feel myself start to get turned on just thinking about it. I feel like a sex addict! Grayson just makes me feel things I've never felt before.

Tragedy befalls the compassionate man and he's torn from his peace by the violent, strangling grip of anguish. Can he remain the kind-hearted man he's always been, or will he slip into dark depths occupied only by those with cracked minds and wicked thoughts as he embarks on the journey of a lifetime, or does he even have a choice? The story is a bit of a slow burn to start, but I promise you'll be rewarded for sticking around. I hope you enjoy Thomas's journey through the dark as he slips into madness.

What if a work of fiction wasn't fiction at all? What if we only thought it was fiction because it was written down, and we were separated from it by the page? Isabel Darrow, troubled by her past and feeling disconnected from the world, likes her doctor's suggestion that the world of fiction might become reality. She likes the idea of waking up in the middle of her favourite book with the handsome, brooding Mr Thornton glaring at people in his mill yard, but she doesn't worry about the foul air of dirty, smoky Milton, because it's not real, and it was written over 160 years ago.But then she takes a trip to Oxford, and gets waylaid along the way, finding herself greeted at a smoky train station, by a man called Mr Hale, who claims to be her godfather. When Isabel meets Margaret and first sees Mr Thornton, she's determined to help the course of love run a little more smoothly for the two stubborn lovers. But Gaskell hadn't accounted for a second young lady in the Crampton house, and whilst Isabel tries to adapt to a life where women have no independence or equality, Milton must adapt to her. The question is, will Mr Thornton adapt to her, or Margaret, first?
